"I stayed at Chelsea during carnival time and it was very convenient, in terms of location, to the beach and almost every venue we atttended.. CAMEO was 4-5 blocks up, great cuban restaurant was 2 blocks down, beach 3 blocks or so as well.. Even a cab ride to PRIME 112 Italian restaurant ( very chic and nice) was only like 8 dollars.. The room was trendy and roomy compared to other hotels that are located on the actuallly strip...."

"I go to Miami once or twice a year and try to stay at a new hotel every time. Some are good some are bad. The Chelsea Hotel was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The bartenders were great. My only complaint would be to add a full glass shower. Water would get on the floor and gather in the corner. I will be coming back.

*Warning Happy Hour was great but drinks are bottom shelf. Drink with caution. I learned the hard way lol. But hey I was in Miami!!!! lol"

"This is a cheap hotel, small in general, no pool or restaurant, we didn't use the free drinks at happy hour because we were out at the time but we thought that was nice. During the weekend there was a DJ in the lobby which was kind of weird because we could hear the music from the third floor. I understand Miami is a loud city but if I want noise I would go to a club and when I'm in my hotel I want to rest. Nothing extraordinary. The shuttle from the airport was nice and fast but leaving took almost an hour to get to the airport and the AC wasn't working so it was like torture. One thing about it is great and that is location, in walking distance to everything."

"The chelsea hotel was a great hotel but it had its pros and cons. The rooms are very cute and modern but kind of cramped I would not recommend more than 2 people in one room. House keeping was very pleasant and overall did a wonderful job keeping the room clean. There were know long mirriors to look at your whole outfit only could view threw the bathroom and that was a problem especially for us ladies. My biggest issue was the air condicition it was freezing in the room with no control ova the temp. Had an over all good experience."

"I was extremely unsatisfied with the staffs there. I've asked and requested for TWO queen size beds due to my surgery the follow day after the arrival. But when my friends and I arrived, they gave us a King size bed. The staffs asked me to paid $40.00 more per night of staying and I booked 3 night with them. Music was extremely loud and cannot relax after my surgery :(... Friends got bitting by mosquitoes in the room. We found bugs in the room. Would NEVER recommend to anyone

"This hotel just wasn't what we expected. I was under the impression that there would be a compact refrigerator along with a mini bar but they were one in the same. I was traveling with an infant so I didn't need a refrigerator full of liquor and sodas. Although the hotel was quiet, the room itself was just too small for our family of three. And That ledge around the bed was a danger for our mobile infant. We had problems with the electrical sockets. They would not charge our phones. We had to go to another hotel where a friend was staying to charge them. And where was the jacuzzi/hot tub that was advertised? I did not know that the happy hour from 7-8 pm was for a free drink. The bartender looked as though it was a problem when I asked for two drinks. The hotel seem very dark. The lighting in the pictures advertised is misleading. The shuttle was appreciated though."

"I recently stayed at this hotel with 3 of my friends and we had the best time! The rooms were very clean and the bathroom mirror were AWESOME! The room wasnt as big a we had expected but it was enough room to sleep because when u are in Miami you dont have time to be in your room. There was a nightly happy hour from 7-8 that was AWESOME as well. the staff there was very friendly! You are about a block and 1/2 from the beach a block over from the shops and a block from the Ocean Drive. I went into some other hotels down there and they may have been alot nicer but for the price we paid compare to the others we really came out on top. I would so stay here again!!"

"Here's the deal. Great location & $90 in season leaves a lot of leeway for some downfalls. Rooms are small, but very clean and nicely appointed. Had to remove lint from hairdryer intake to keep it on for more than 30 seconds, hot water was a little tricky and valet parking takes forever (ask about self park lot & save time)."

"My daughter Chelsea choose to spend her 16th birthday at the Chelsea Hotel. We took her 5 girl cousins and sister and mom and aunt for the week. We had the time of our lives and are still talking about it. The hotel was wonderful. The bar tender was so cute and we hope his reputation isn't ruiend from making 9 Shirly Temples every night!
