The location of the Blue Moon was perfect for a 4 day stay in South Beach. It is a quick 3 minute walk to the beach, includes beach chairs right on the beach so no extra work for you! The hotel staff (Tony, Juan and Denise) were incredible. Dane the bartender made sure we were taken care of, checked on it us at the pool and was very nice to chat with. We originally had planned only to stay 2 nights with our 3rd night at a hotel near a wedding were in town for but we LOVED the Blue Moon so much t... Read more

We stayed during a quiet time and enjoyed the relative solitude. The hotel was quaint but the rooms were tiny and not at all properly cleaned. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location in proximity to the beach was excellent.

THE STAFF: is absolutely amazing! They were all extremely accomodating, kind and helpful. Robin at the front desk was the epitome of hospitable. They stored our stroller and carseat and didn't mind us needing to use them daily. They made perfect recommendations for dinner and made reservations on our behalf. THE LOCATION: perfect! One block from Ocean Dr. A five minute walk from hotel to sand. Plenty of action yet quaint and secluded once inside. I will definitely stay here again and I highly re... Read more

We found the hotel on line and were very pleased with price and location to the beach and shopping. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the hotel was clean and the decorating was very well done. Nice pool and Bar/restaurant area. The only thing I would check out is view ours was a wall but we live on the beach so didn't matter we were hardly in room anyway. Good room for the $.

Beautiful restored building with comfy rooms. I have a problem climbing stairs but Oleg and Juan were always ready to assist me with the manual elevator. Every staff member was eager to help with any detail from front desk to waitress at breakfast.

This was my second stay here, the first was 2 years ago. Unique layout with decent amenities yet the fine details were lacking - window blind had broken slats, the toilet paper holder was coming off the wall, the shelf under the mirror was sagging forward and these are small issues but it indicates lack of attention to detail which was not the case when I stayed there 2 years ago. Also beware, parking is $35 a day.......this was not communicated so shame on me for not inquiring. Staff is very... Read more

I've stayed at the Bluemoon multiple times on business travel. The staff is incredibly friendly, and were very accommodating with receiving a large number of packages that we needed for a training. The hotel is quaint, and one downside is that the rooms are fairly small and need some updating. It can also be noisy at night. But the benefits definitely outweigh any downsides. The hotel is just a block from the beach, and reasonably priced compared to others in the area. I will definitely stay her... Read more

We had a really nice experience at the Blue Moon Hotel for the one night we stayed in Miami Beach. It's in the heart of the area -- the beach and Ocean Drive is only one block away. We were only there to eat and drink and hang out in the South Beach area, so this was perfect for what we wanted. The room itself was adequate. Nothing out of the ordinary -- save for some cool art on the walls -- but was more than enough for what we needed and it's a real bargain for the price. The building features... Read more

Although small, the room was clean and, as we were at the back of the hotel, relatively quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is centrally located, easy to walk to the beach and other things of interest. Valet parking, which bumps up the price a bit at $70 a day.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff here is very welcoming and friendly. The facility is clean and this place is also very conveniently located a block over from ocean drive. I would definitely stay here on my next trip back to south beach.

I recently visited the Blue Moon Hotel with a group of 12 friends. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I want to personally thank Tony, Denise, and Dean for the excellent customer service throughout our entire stay. The room was clean and conveniently located in heart of South Beach... two blocks from Starbucks (my fav) and Wet Willies! The champagne at check-in is definitely a great touch! We all enjoyed the daily happy hour at the bar. I would definitely stay here on my next ... Read more

I visited South Beach for a quick rest break in May. I enjoyed this classic Art Deco structure and walking the neighborhood. It is near Ocean Drive and the beach. It was a fun couple of days with much relaxation, no partying--although there was plenty of that going on. There was noise on the street in the night, but it was not overwhelming. I hope to take my family sometime. I think that they would enjoy seeing the area and eating at the restaurants.

My husband and I spent about 5 days at this hotel, combining some business with vacation travel. By day 2, the staff were calling us by our names, predicting our needs and wants, and personally ensuring our comfort. Thank you especially to Juan, Gaby, and Denisse! The hotel's location is perfect for enjoying the beach and the nightlife. Bikes are available to borrow to enjoy the area. The historic building has been tastefully remodeled with updated furnishings; however, there is only a very smal... Read more

Great staff, beautiful hotel, and a wonderful location. What more could you ask for?!? This is a really cute boutique hotel. I stayed at the Blue Moon in March 2016 for my pre-cruise accommodations. The room was lovely and the hotel is walking distance to local attractions. Rene, Gabby, and Tony were very attentive and made my stay truly enjoyable. I took one star off because I requested a feather free room. However, when I arrived they informed me that they only had feathered pillows. I had t... Read more

Hotel was nice and welcoming. Location is perfect, right in the middle of south beach, couldn't be more central. Room was average size, clean and well decorated. Staff were slightly unfriendly at times , especially when asking to turn down music in the hall. Outside terrace was very chilled and relaxing. Wifi was great in room and outside.

Excellent service, very friendly and welcoming Staff (e.g. Oleg Victor, he gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and activities)! The location of this hotel is on Collins between 9th and 10th which is one block from the craziness of Ocean drive and about 3 blocks to the beach. The hotel offers free beach towels, bikes, and 2 beach chairs (you have to pay for the umbrella which costs $15). The rooms are quite small and really donā??t have a view, but they are equipped with everything you need. I really didnā??t hear outside noise and there is a cute pool on site. McKevin was great as we visited the beach. He set us up without hesitation. His hustle to complete the process included sprinting across the beach, dragging chairs, rounding towels, and he even came back multiple times to ensure we didn't need anything additional. He and Janet helped us with complimentary hotels that the staff at the hotel didnt inform us of. He was a great help to the overall process from information to actual manual duties. We live an hour North of SOBE and when we feel the need to get away for a quick easy weekend we head to The Blue Moon. Love staying here, is very relaxed, great location a block off the craziness but easy to get crazy if the need strikes. Even when in the area for the day we always stop in to have a drink with Zorr, he knows just the right cocktails for the frufru drinkers. We stood in Blue Moon Hotel (autograph Collection) from 25th June to 30th (5 nights). We had an horrible experience: when we reached the hotel, it was overbooked. The staff was very rude, did not seem helpful at all and only after much insistence he did send us to another hotel, in a completely different category. On top of that, when the hotel front man spelled my surname, instead of using a professional NATO alphabet, he used vulgar words such as I for idiot, R for rude and E as elephant whil... Read more

I stayed at the Blue Moon for 3 nights and was highly unsatisfied. Upon entering they have a fairly nice outside seating area with a few tables/chairs that would be good to just hang out and have a drink. The "lobby area" was fairly nice as well. They had fruit infused water available daily & nice seating area. The front desk staff was okay no real issues at check in, they offered Champagne at check in and I believe we checked in a couple hours early... Now on to the BAD! The room....first and ... Read more

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago and would give it an overall positive review. As a Platinum Marriott Rewards member got upgrade to an "executive suite" (which IMHO isn't really a suite but just a larger room. The location is a couple of blocks from the beach right in the middle of everything. The Blue Moon Hotel is kind of quirky with a weird, old time elevator (that isn't without it's charm). The pool is an absolute joke.. the size of an average hot tub so don't go there for that. The pric... Read more

Really enjoyed this slightly quirky hotel which gives you a glass or two of champagne on arrival! The room wasn't the biggest but was very comfortable and well furnished. The hotel location is good and walking distance to central Miami Beach. I would definitely recommend this reasonably priced hotel in an expensive area.
