"This was my wife's and I first time to Miami. We both liked the city but not our hotel stay. Our hotel experience was:

1) there was no hotel parking and the person at the concierge gave us the wrong directions to a close-by parkade that ended up costing $25 per day.

2) The shower gel pump in our shower was completely empty

3) the card swipe mechanism on the door did not work. Once fixed, the next day the room keys did not work

4) Towels in our room were not replaced after the room was cleaned. When I called down about this, it took them 2 hrs to bring new ones to the room

5) When we asked the front desk for beach towels, they said we could find them at the pool. Went to the pool and there were none. Went back to the front desk and after a little haggling they finally gave us towles.

6) The walls are very thin, we could hear everything in the hallways, room next to and on top of ours.

I would never stay at this hotel again. I would recommend travelers stay elsewhere.

"When we arrived it was extremely late (3 in the morning) the computers were down or undergoing maintenance. We waited a little and were able to check in about 30 mins later. Our stay here was well, we had an ocean view room and it seemed to be newly renovated."

"Nice place. Clean and very good service. The pool is smaller, but very nice. The food at the pool bar is a bit pricey. The beach is great and they have umbrella/towel service for a fee each day. Includes a couple of sodas. We really enjoyed our stay. Also, if you plan to drive in, plan on a $27 a day parking fee. It might be cheaper to take the bus around town. It is super easy and no parking issue at destination. South beach is a blast. Tons of food on Lincoln St."

"I had paid an oceanfront room with a balcony, upon arriving they gave me a key as i entered the room i realised no balcony at all and the view of the side pool, no ocean at all, not even partial! I complained an after like 20min they finally gave me a room with a partial view with a tiny winy balcony and they seemed very unhappy about it.
They don't say hello when they see you, bad costumer service and huge coakcroaches! No! Thats what i would say if anybody askes me if i would stay here again!"

"Location is ideal...lots of problems but who cares...we got a great price with a fantastic location...all of the other negatives don't matter. No parking but you can find street parking with a little effort - staff is friendly but very incompetent...like I said, location is great and make of it what you will - we enjoyed the stay. Beach access and boardwalk make it worth it."

"From the moment we arrived in the lobby we starting hearing complaints from other guests. Our first complaint was easily resolved, instead of staying in a room with a king size bed we quickly moved to a standard room with two beds. We also experienced difficulty with the lock on our door, which resulted in maintenance trying to fix the problem for over an hour. Although the housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping the hotel clean, we found the pictures to be somewhat deceiving and we were quite disappointed with our overall visit. On the positive side, the conciege service was excellent and did everything possible to make our stay in Miami pleasurable."

"Just what we had been reading on other reviews, the customer service was not that great. A few of the guys that was at the front desk acted as though no one was standing in front of them on several occassions. There was a few pple that was very nice throughout our entire stay. I'd wish i had gotten their names. the hotel is nice. the refrigerators are extra small. The poolside bar is wayy too expensive. they are charging $12.00 for one drink. so we never drank there. the restaurant was excellent, everyone in there is very nice and the breakfast buffet was delicious. oh the conciege desk, the guys were very helpful and pleasant."
