"i liked it, i loved it, everything was clean and the staff were extremely helpful and nice. took a vacation with 2 of my other friends and we're all 23-24 and we do crazy things and they were still nice to all of us. very polite and i would EASILY recommend and stay here again. and the view was picture perfect"

"Maybe I just expect MORE from 4 star hotel... but I was very displeased with my stay at the Bentley on Southbeach, so much so that I left early. I have stayed at many historic/art deco hotels, so I was expecting an older hotel. The location is great...right on Ocean, steps from the beach, the pool area is a nice deck overlooking the action...but that's where the 'pros' end. The hotel was very cramped (small dark hallways) and choppy (I had to take two different elevators to reach the 3rd floor) and the room was not like the one pictured (no separate doorway to 'bedroom' just a bed by the kitchenette.) I'm pretty sure the room was not level, and my interior facing room faced a wall with other guests windows very nearby. The front desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly, but valet service was horrible! Certainly NOT worth the mandatory $30 over night rate. They were never there when I called for my car, or when I pulled up to the hotel on the busy street. Unfortunately there is no nearby self parking, so you are at their mercy.The options for continental breakfast were dry cereal in glass containers, yogurt, or stale bagels/pastries...and bad coffee. I booked this last minute so it may have been the last/worst room left, because I hate to believe these accomodations would rate 4 stars...maybe 2.5-3 at the very most."

"Great location, spotless room, excellent staff, rooftop lounging and view were impressive, comfy bed, inner room faced a lovely courtyard, drugstore, liquor store, and deli around the corner, bike rentals across the street, and all smack dab in the action of Ocean Drive ! Great value !
Tip: If you want to save money from Miami Airport, take the Airport Flyer Metro Bus #150, that is on Washington Avenue ( 2blocks from Hotel) for $2.35 per person ! And ride the SOBE local bus up and down Washington Road for .25 each ! Great bargains ! Hotel has a terrific manager- should you have any needs ! Flight and hotel were a great combination, thanks!!!"
