Spent Memorial Day weekend here. Room was clean, Staff friendly. While we didn't arrive by boat - they have a very nice marina. Many guest came by boat. They pool in the afternoon was lots of fun. They have two - one by the hotel, and one by the marina. The Lighthouse Restaurant was nice too.

Ended our 2 week trip with 4 nights here to explore the Keys from the centre out. The room was good, large, clean and modern, but I don't get the fad for glass frosted bathroom doors. It might be 'modern' but it doesn't feel fully private and you can't put the bathroom light on in the middle of the night without casting light into the main room and disturbing others. I think more a case of image over practicality. The site was nice, with two pools in full sunlight, but not enough sun shades I do... Read more

We have been staying in Marathon for many years. We decided to break away fom our normal hotel and give this place a try. This is officially our favorite Marathon location. Having never stayed at a Hyatt Place before we did not know what to expect. Hyatt truly knows how to run a hotel!!! The staff is amazing...all of them! Neven (sp) at check-in was absolutely delightful. Happy hour on the water was a great deal with amazing food. Great pools and breakfast each day was fantastic for a free m... Read more

The hotel is new and very clean, staff- helpful and kind. It has a small patio outside, which is great for breakfast or a late night drink. The rooms are also very clean spacious, didn't expect such a big room at a hotel on the keys. The restaurant has a very small selection of meals and we weren't impressed by the cuisine, nor the drinks, there is better places to go to

I wish it had more to offer. The two pools are great, but the prices of food and drinks were outrageous. We bought our own and made drinks in our room instead. The bathrooms are a little dated...could use some new grout for the tiles as I noticed they were starting to mold. The staff were wonderful and kept the room spotless and replaced products once if not twice daily. For the price we paid I wish there had been a beach directly connected to the hotel.

I realize that March is a peak season but we paid an upscale price for very pedestrian service. I have been a Hyatt Platinum member for a number of years, I got nothing for this level of loyalty not even a late check out (one hour). The assistant general manager didn't even want to come out to talk to me. He was rude and didn't care. Breakfast was good the first day with breakfast sandwiches, etc. The second day there was scrambled eggs, a bowl of fruit that was always empty, some bread for... Read more

My wife and I usually stay at Hyatts so this was an obvious choice in the Keys, especially as it's part of the Faro Blanco Yacht club. Great staff, clean modern rooms and bathrooms and the most comfortable beds as always! Breakfast was a nice complimentary touch and was enough to get us started on our day. Watching sunset or sunrise from docks or small limited beach was a nice relaxing plus as well!! For the rates Hyatt offers at this property you will not find anything better. Enjoy!

First I want to say what is good about this Hyatt Place... the rooms are lovely and roomy. The breakfast is very nice. They have a restaurant on site, a nice bar on the water and outside seating if you desire to dine outside also with a pool. The view can be nice IF you are smart enough to request a good location which we were lucky to have received the first visit. Since I had stayed here the year before I understood the layout. The front desk moved us to one of the apartments, and the apartments are very large with a kitchen and two bathrooms, but all of this got us to bed at a much later hour. If you have children, avoid the lower pool! The Lighthouse Grill was like a club 18-30 experience (plus 30 years). Customers taking advantage of the happy 'hour' were getting roaringly drunk and making complaints about (or shouting at) the children who were simply trying to swim. The manager of the Grill was dashing round telling children or parents off about their behaviour which was not necessary. Adults were even drinking alcohol and smoking in the pool... This hotel is very new and fresh! Our hotel room was very spacius and new, and had both a king size bed and a big sofa. Our room was facing the swimming pool in the courtyard, but there really wasn't any noise although it sometimes became crowded. Breakfast was ok, but the breakfast area was quite small and became crowded. Parking was OK. The hotel has two pools, one in the courtyeard and one down by the Lighthouse Grill. We spent most of our time by the one in the courtyard which was really g... Read more

We stayed here one night Checked in about 11:00 . Hotel very nice seemed new beds nice separate setting area . Has two pools the one in the back is in a beautiful location with a dock and lighthouse. Bar and restaurant in the back area. Grounds are very well kept tropical feel. Wondered upon this area on my own. Front desk did not do a very good job explaining the grounds . Breakfast was great and well stocked and tasted great . I would stay again for sure. Wish we could have stayed another day ... Read more

This is a very fine hotel in a beautiful location. It is well appointed and maintained, with all you need. The lounge area in the room is a nice touch to relax. However, the A/C unit in the room is so loud that it is very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Be advised, there are many better options for dining (in terms of both quality and value) in the local area than the on-site Lighthouse Grill.

Hotel was very modern and clean, free parking and a nice boardwalk with a lighthouse. Front desk was professional and helped with any problems. Free breakfast was good and offered a wide variety of foods and drink. Would recommend

This is a beautiful hotel with the ocean out your back door. The fish are everywhere. The grounds were spotless. We enjoyed sports at the bar while others had fun in the two pools. Very relaxing. They even had a marine program in the morning that was fun. Breakfast was included.

Only negative was I did not have cellphone access to call or text from my room. Marathon is a great place to visit. Perfect spot to be in between the two major Keys of Key Largo and Key West. If it was not for the cellphone service, it would have been excellent. Otherwise, it is a fantastic hotel! Highly recommend it! Very friendly staff to boot who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Really enjoyed a peaceful evening at this hotel. The hotel is about 2 years old and had fabulous accommodations. Lighthouse grill is located on the complex and great to dine and enjoy the wonderful evening. The breakfast was one of the best for a hotel breakfast. I will visit again when we return to the Keys.

The food service and drinks at the restaurant by the pool was outstanding. The hotel itself wasn't very clean. During the night the room's air conditioning would turn on and a loud noise would keep Us awake. This occurred numerous times during the night. Additionally, the bathroom floors were dirty and needed to be bleached.

We just had a family vacation at Florida Keys. We stayed in the hotel for two nights. During our stay, we had multiple pleasant interactions with the front desk. They were very helpful and made us feel special. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. The overall condition of the hotel was excellent. Hot breakfast with multiple choices, better than many other hotels at similar price range. The hotel is conveniently located at Marathon, FL, within one hour drive to all activities in the Florida ... Read more
