"The accommodations were the worst... For starters i arrived at 9 30 pm from NY.....There was no one at the front desk for at least 20 mins....I was so tired all i wanted was to see my bed
Secondly i was placed in a suite facing the front of the building and the next morning at 7:45 am there was loud noise outside my window on the 8th floor... It was a loud drilling noise ...all i wanted was to sleep...Im coming from a noisy city.. I WANT QUIETNESS. i WAS SOOOO ANGRY I WANTED TO CRY!!I was told from the front desk the building was under renovation....DO YOU THINK THAT ANY OF THE GUESTS in the suites knew this ....NO!!!
Therefore there was no restaurant, no tiki bar no lounges to eat at on the premise like they advertise!!!!!....We were forced to rent a vehicle for the next 10 days..... The same day i asked if i could get another room facing another side of building so i could sleep and they told me they could find me another suote at the neighboring condos, only if i would pay another $479.00 after paying $900....i sent them to hell. IT GETS BETTER SO THE NIGHT I DECIDED TO GO OUT WITH THREE FRIENDS THAT LIVE IN MIAMI AT 1100 PM THE ELEVATORS WERE OUT OF ODER....I HAD TO WALK DOWN TO THE LOBBY. MIND YOU I HAVE ASTHMA!!! THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE...RETURNING IN....NOT TO MENTION THERE WERE ANTS EVERYWHERE, ..I COULD COMPLAIN ALL DAY ....THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND ITS FALSE ADVERTISING WHEN THE BUILDING IS UNDER RENOVATION AND STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS...P.S . THERE ARE NO PHONES IN THE ROOMS IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY ......HOW SHAMEFUL"

"there was no internet services in the room.the worst was no teleplone in the room.this is the 1st time in my life the i was deprived of such an essential servive. even travel lodge has better servives.you cannot call that an hotel.it was such a confusing mess.there was a counter on one side of the entrance,but servicing other kind of customers, and there was another counter which looks like for security reasons only,but in fact,it was a check in counter.it was dirty,the elevator was either
damaged or vandalised,peoples with all kinds of cloths ran all over the place,just to name a few."

"please people dont go this hotel they lie, never have ocean front is bay view i mean you never see ocean in you room they dont clean everyday they clean your room one day and next day nothing smell like old elevators take forever to take and you cant sleep is under construccion noise like 8 in the morning the pool is dirty water they never clean that if you go you trash your money"

"don't stay at this hotel! unless you want to sleeep with cockroaches in your bed!
I couldn't believe it! the place is dirty, the beds are horrible and if you want to eat lunch you have to get in your car to get a decent sandwich, because they only have one little supermarket in the hotel with horrible cuban food...never again"

" It is a private run down club building. The security guide didn't know anything about the rental for the nights because he didn't have the paperwork. The owner of the room was actually downstairs in the basement. Two hours later we finally found him.
Other than that, the building is in very bad disrepair and workers in the building are jackhammering and sawing all day long. We could not sleep in the mornings. No telephone in the room. No staff members. Only emergency number for the owner. I felt very unsafe the whole time.

"My dislikes:
1)When we first checked in the hotel, they asked to see a valid id n credit card of the person who booked the hotel and that's all known and given. but then the guy charged my card a $100 damage deposit fee without letting me know ahead of time. I didnt like that because i didnt know he charged me until i fully read thru the terms and conditions, so i found out from paper and then he gave me the receipt in which i had to sign regardless because he already swiped my card.
2) the building was under renovation. and it's all on the side where the pool and sundeck are so its a beautiful area, but the view is bad because of the construction
3) the shades to the windows arent dark enough, if you are havin a vacation in miami, you might party and there might a night you were up all night and wanna sleep in for a bit, the shades are horrible, the sun would come out and i couldnt sleep...

My Likes
1) loved the fact it was steps off the beach. so i could watch sunrise and sunset if i chose
2) the security and staff were so nice and friendly and very convenient
3) loved the fact that the people who cleaned your room varied based on your time because they clean from 10am-5pm. so as long as you put the 'please clean my room' sign on the door between those hours, they will clean it. they even did our dishes even though we didnt expect that. and they replace towels and beach towels so we had new ones everyday

"Our stay was not the greatest. The fact that a portion of the building was undergoing renovation was very disappointing. Every day we had to listen to the loud jack-hammering while at the pool. Not very relaxing. The elevators in the building were not very satisfactory either. There were 3 elevators and 1 service elevator. I'm pretty sure that one of the elevators was not in service at all. We always had to wait a lengthy time for an elevator. The fact that some of the buttons in the elevators didn't work was also a nuisance. And, finally, our room was opposite the elevators and the service elevator screeched 24/7."

"This location was a complete dive! You could tell that they had attempted to update parts of the place but once we go to our room it was awful. The door to our room had parts of it falling off, the toilet wouldnt flush, there was no phone in the room to contact maintenence and when I tried to call the number from my voucher, it was the wrong number. I walked back down to the front desk and was met by the security lady who acted like it was a chore to help me. Walked down another level to obtain a coke for me and my son. The only place open to do that, smelled of urine and was packed full of items that you could barely turn around. The rooms were very old and delapedated. The noise level was non-stop loud. The only relief we received was by turning on the air conditioner because it was so loud, it drowned out the people noise. My 11yo son was scared to stay and only fell asleep after pure exhaustion set in from his nerves. We checked in around 11pm and by 8am we were checking out. There were 3 other rooms that were also being abandoned due to the conditions. I doubt I will receive any of my money back. I am very disappointed in this location and refuse to ever go there again. I will also tell everyone I know to stay away from here. The man they sent to fix the toilet dropped a sandwich paper in the bathroom floor and didnt bother to pick it up. Just overall an awful experience."

"My stay there was horrible. I really regrete chosing this hotel. It is really a lie all the awesome things they write and all the images they put online dont have nothing to do with what the room really looked like. It is not only that the room was horrible but there where even cockroches in the room. For all i paid it was not worth it at all. Not only i would never stay there again, i would never recomend this hotel. I dont know how this hotel can be here. Service was horrible. It smelled really bad because of the old rugs. It took 10 mins for me to get an elevator. Worst hotel ive ever stayed at. I would rather stay in a motel than this."

"We stayed for a few nights at Castle Beach.

the rooms are recently renovated and spotless clen.

We really enjoyed the pool, access to the beach, and of course the free parking and internet wifi.



We would go back to this property!"
