"While we only stayed at the hotel for one day, it was a really nice place and the staff was very friendly. The pool was beautiful and a lof of fun for our son. He loved getting to play on the kid land part that had water jets and stuff. The hotel provided towels for us, which was great since we forgot to bring our beach towels. We booked a room with access from the outside which was nice because it saved us a lot of money. The only thing that I was kinda bummed about was that our room view was of the garbage from the hotel. So if you book a room with outside access, you'll end up with either the view of the pool (on the opposite side of us) or the view of the garbage dump. I don't have any real complaints about the hotel, it was over all a cool place to stay."

"The hotel is good, BUT IS NOT PART OF DISNEY RESORT. This means you dont have extra hours, benefits, disney shuttle, just the hotel shuttle, and for example to Typhoon lagoon, there are just 2 shuttels at 9 and 10 am... We went at 11, and had to pay a cab.
About the tickets, we were charged in the front desk 10U$S for receiving our disney tickets in the front desk, that was not detaild in the voucher, so we didn{t pay.

Over all, Disney and Universal Studios are great! the hotel was what we expected, excep for the confusion of being or not part of Disney, THEY ARE NOT!"

"I was pretty disappointed in our stay at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista. First, we pulled up and I went to check in and realized our rooms were outside in the motel-like rooms. I was not expecting this and felt very 'tricked' into these rooms - I felt like it was major false advertisement.They were mostly clean but very old and musty. My allergies went crazy. The staff at the front desk were incredibly nice but their housekeeping staff were the exact opposite. I'm so glad I got these for a major discount because if I would have paid full price I would have been VERY unhappy."

"This is a very old hotel that they are trying to rate as a top qulaity place. Room was freshly painted but peeling off the ceiling. Bathtub was actually painted and peeling. Bathrooms was full of mold. Room floor not vaccumed and not very clean. Was moved to another room but was a bit better. Have stayed in many places and this was pretty nasty. I will not go back and would not recommed it!"

"My daughters and I spent two nights here. The lobby and main part of the hotel is very nice and the hotel staff was attentive and helpful, but the room was pretty poor. Tiny motel-style room with a sliding door added on for quasi-privacy in the vanity room, and the bathroom portion was just ok. The TV was new, but that was about the only thing. The 'closet' was in the bathroom, and was less than a foot deep. I didn't attempt to store anything in there because it would have been pointless. The walls are paper thin...I could hear every conversation of my neighbors, which sucked the mornings we tried to sleep in. Proximity to Downtown Disney is perfect, and the shuttle bus service to the Magic Kingdom was great. I chose 'no' for recommend to a friend, when really I would qualify that with 'look elsewhere first'."

"I recently stayed at the Wyndham with my family of 5. I was very disappointed with the cleanlines of the hotel. When we arrived the bed linens were dirty. The room was not adequately cleaned and the floors had debris all over. The bathrooms are very outdated and the showers did not appear to have been cleaned. There was visible mold in the showers. GROSS! We also has small ants and other insects in our room. I was under the impressions the beds were queen size, but they are actually double beds. The hotel management was somewhat responsive to our complaints after multiple calls and times spent tracking down management. They moved us to another room on our third day, but the room cleanliness and quality wasn't any better. The best thing this hotel has going for it is the location. It's an easy walk to Downtown Disney."

"When we arrived the Lobby appeared very nice and we we excited about our fun sping break. However, when we opened the door to our room...not so much. A new coat of paint does NOT make it clean!! The carpent was very wet from previous swimmers. The room was small, linens were dirty, bathroom had rusted hindges etc. The AC was extremely old and there was a 'make-do' door they made to cover the vanity area. We had previous owners belongings left under bed and beside bed...GROSS!! The staff was very unhelpful. The room did not have microwave and unless you were there on buisness you had NO access to a computer. The buses were ALWAYS late to Disney and we were left starnded and wet walking due to the horrible service they provided. I ended up with a 103 temp and was very sick and they would NOT help my daughter get me any help with a doctors office or provide any help. The elevators were very small and prices were OUTRAGOUS. I tried to make the best of a bad situation but when people actually have to save for a vacation and this happens it is VERY disappointing and money wasted!!! I would not recommed them to anyone."

"I have to say that I wasn't impressed with the Wyndham Lake Beuena Vista Resort. Our particular room on the 5th floor was clean. If you are someone who is taller than 5'5' then the shower will work for you. My husband and I are taller than that and it wasn't comfortable to take a shower. I also agree that the rooms need to be updated. It was nice to be able to walk to Downtown Disney and to drive to the theme parks so the convenience was nice. I also wish they would get rid of the queen beds and put all two king size beds to make it more comfortable for families."

"I would rate my experience here as pretty average. Nothing special, the hotel rooms are right out of the 80's, very small and outdated. They do compensate by the large pool area that is very nicely maintained and open until 11pm (and open in Feb when we went). I would say they need more staff in the outside bar as even in Feb with the few people that were there they seemed overwhelmed. The shuttles were as convenient as possible if you aren't staying in a Disney property and definitely walking distance to Downtown Disney is a plus. Overall, for the price I paid I think the value was good. I would feel different if I had paid more."

"The breakfast buffet was about a '4' on a scale of 10 compared to the other dozen or so all-inclusive places we've stayed at. Pool area was a huge plus. Kids (8 & 7) loved the water games and hot tub, and bar staff was courteous and prompt. Room was adequate. Maid service never replenished are coffee or tp without us having to call, and each time they arrived, they where reluctant to give us anything but the minimum. It was convenient being next to Downtown Disney, but I would never go back to this place."

"Although we're Floridians we still enjoy frequently going to Disney. We like being near Downtown Disney so we chose the Wyndham. We were very pleased right from the start. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room, not in the tower, had a beautiful view of the pool and lake. The room was clean and very comfortable. The only strange thing in the room was the small closet with the hanging area limited. We were pleased with the bus service to all the parks - it was very efficient and on time. We were tired at the end of the day and purchased the 'chef's special' at the restaurant to take back to our room. Each night it was excellent and I would definately eat there again. We bought a year pass this year, and will definately stay at the Wyndham. Thanks!!"

"This hotel has a very nice lobby, and from other reviews, if you are in the main tower, you have regular Wyndham rooms (very nice). We were in one of the ancilliary towers, that was closer to a comfort inn. I've stayed in both, and don't mind the comfort inn, but don't expect to get the nice Wyndham room every time. I was dissapointed in that. The pool area looked great, but it was a bit cool for our time.
Expect Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, and you won't be disappointed."

"Not exactly what we expected. Got it about 10 pm and were told we could get a 'Welcome PAckage' from the Guest Services Desk. There were 2 desks available and when I got to the front of the line of one, he told me I had to go to the other, where I waited for another 15 minutes (not fun after you have just traveled for 12 hours). Then, all if was was a folder of random 'coupons' and a pitch for a time share presentation...No thank you. The room was small (the pictures must have been taken with a wide angle lens) and we got a random number of towels each day - there were 2 the first night, 4 the second and 3 the third - and they just left all of the other towels on the back of the bathroom door. The second day the cleaning crew removed the coffee basket and didn't replace it - we went to the front desk and they said they would have a new one delivered, which they didn't and after a second call it finally arrived at 11:30pm. In the morning when they are cleaning the rooms around you they leave the latch of the other doors turned in so everytime they come in/out the door slams against it. They should invest in some door stops! The character breakfast at he hotel was very expensive (almost $80 for 2 adults and 2 kids). The food was good, but there was only 1 person in character which rotated between Goofy and Pluto...not very exciting for the price. Some of the front desk staff was not very friendly - one woman in particular didn't seem very happy to be there. The pool was nice - just not heated, so be warned. Luckily we had so many things that we wanted to do that we didn't spend much time at this hotel or we would have been more disappointed."

"The property was very nice. Spacious public spaces and nice area for kids and families to sit and play games, loved that.They had both the adult and child in mind with this layout and design. Used only the main elevators in lobby because the elevator closest to my wing was small and hot. The rooms were only average for the stars given. The door was difficult 2 close and had way too large a gap at bottom for it to be accessed from the outside. Had fridge, but no microwave and the ac was noisy. Hotel shuttle bus to sites was fine; pickup for return was not. Our pickup spots were not well defined by signage, had no nearby covered shelter to protect from rain nor were there nearby seats and bus was so crowded we had to stand each return trip. Pool area was great."

"First of all you pay $16.00 a night extra just to park your car. That is if you can find a parking space. There are very few handi-cap parking spaces. The way the wings of the hotel are laid out it is very hard to find your room. Wings are all outside entry. Not what you would expect from a so called 4 star hotel. Their so called free breakfast for our children was anything but free. They charge $8.45 for a service fee. The charge for just one adult was $29.53. They have only one elevator for each wing at or near the end. The staff also has to use the same elevator and you do have to wait. They put their carts for room cleaning in the elevator and believe me there is no room for anyone else. I have NEVER seen a so called 4 star holel not having at least two elevators in use, not to mention not having an elevator for the staff to use. If you don't like traffic this is NOT the place to stay. I have never seen so much traffic just trying to either get in or out of this hotel. Everyone I talked to had nothing nice to say about their stay at this hotel. I would not stay there for free!!"

The Positives:
Beautiful lobby, comfortable beds, convenient access to Downtown Disney, pleasant (but unhelpful) staff, fridge in room
The Negatives:
Check-in was 4 p.m. We arrived late (to avoid the check-in rush) only to find that our room was not ready. They then tried to get us to sign up to one of their 'info sessions' to purchase a time share. We asked for a luggage cart because we did not stop at the ATM and get cash for tips. They REFUSED to give us a cart. So, we had to lug all of our bags into the hotel. There is not enough parking for this hotel. That beautiful lobby is very deceptive. Our room was horrible. It (along with the bathroom, closet, and elevators) was very cramped. After getting settled, I noticed the bottom of my son's socks - they were filthy. I checked mine and they were filthy too - apparently, these carpets haven't been cleaned for some time. The AC was loud and we could hear the neighbors constantly. I had to constantly call (4 out of 5 nights) for towels and/or bath cloths. The bathtub was not cleaned - it looked like someone came into our room, made the beds, picked up the dirty towels, dumped the trash and left. Please tell me how do you clean a room and not leave clean towels??? Also, the wi-fi was awful.
The transportation was about the same as the hotel. There was constant confusion about times for the stops and the majority of the bus drivers were rude. There were so many people on the buses (we had several pick-ups at other hotels). We had ONE smooth trip to the parks - that driver was awesome! One other driver was nice, but we drove around in circles for a while...still not sure what happened there!
I cannot believe Disney would even be associated with a place like this. We will never go back and we will never recommend this place to anyone. This is a very poor example of a resort!"

"This hotel had a great pool and a nice lobby but the rooms need to be remodeled. The hotel staff was friendly and we were within walking distance to downtown Disney which was a plus and they had shuttle buses going to all the Disney theme parks which was also great. However, the beds were small and uncomfortable and the rooms were not cleaned very well, we had to ask for washclothes every night cause the cleaning crew would never leave any. For someone on a budget the rooms were worth what we paid but not any more. We did have a good time and was not in the room long enough to worry about how it looked.

"This is a really older hotel that the pool and lobby have been re-modeled. Doors are heavy and slam shut, can hear people next door and people walking past your room. Air conditioning system is old, old, old and impossible to sleep with the noise. Shuttle does not go to 'all local attractions' as stated - only to Disney and you are one of FOUR hotels. At park closing, it is impossible to get the bus and finally when able to get on with all the stops it was over TWO hours before we got to the hotel. Restaurant for dinner is very expensive, and very limited menu...not worth it at all. Wifi didn't work - outside elevators were hot, dirty and smelled. Not enough ice machines nor parking spaces. Pool is not heated. Never vacuumed the carpet in 6 days. These comments were about the hotel - the clerical staff at the front desk is rude, not helpful at all, and totally messed up our reservations. Locked us out of the room TWICE because they thought we were checking out. Had to go to the front to get a key to get in and then go back to prove that we had already PRE PAID the reservation. They didn't apologize either time for their mistake. Totally HORRIFIC experience - will never be back."

"Not what we expected from a Wyndham hotel. Our room was dirty, and was kept awake from the foot traffic in front of our door. The picture of king room that sleeps 3 was inacurate. There was no couch, just a chair so we had to have daughter sleep in our bed for a week. Cobwebs were so bad on airconditioner that it didnt work properly. Sheets were put on sideways 4 nights out of 7. The pool and the lobby were the only nice areas of hotel. Would never recommend this hotel, and still dont feel it was worth the money. Would pay more for clean updated rooms."

"Great Hotel overall, but beware extra fee's & costs. Character breakfast is super expensive...also note the 'resort fee' added that's not included in the booking price. also had to rent a cab to the airport. Shuttle is free to Disney, but not to the Airport apparently.
Pool area is amazing. However staffing was not very efficient. Housekeeping knocked on our door 5 mins after we checked in, and made us sign a form after we told her we didn't need our room cleaned (room was already spotless)...and I'm not sure she spoke much english.
Also, I phoned down to guest services to get info on shuttles, got short answers and not much help. In person they were great.
Food was about a 5 out of 10 the one time we ordered room service. Not super impressed.
But I'm being picky...got the hotel for an amazing value, great location and super close to downtown disney. absolutely loved every minute."

"The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is an older hotel with a lobby and pool area makeover. Both the pool and lobby are beautiful, however the guest rooms are old. The closet was small for a family of four. We had to remind the young lady that cleaned the room over four times to wash out the dirty bathtub. The beds are very comfortable, however due to the age of the hotel the loud noise from the air conditioner kept my wife up for most of our stay. The hotel lobby staff, including the bell man where excellent! For the money we spent we got a good value."

"First of all the staff were helpful and full of information. Shuttles were great. We wanted to go to Typhoon Lagoon and we were directed to the proper shuttles.
The best part was the location. Close to Downtown Disney. We walked to the grocery store and stocked our fridge. The pool was awesome.

"My 6 year old son and I enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham. Upon arrival I was able to upgrade to a tower room for very little cost per night. Everyone we encountered at the hotel from staff to visitors were very nice. The character breakfast was just the right way to start the day, however I can't recommend eating there each day as the cost is a bit overboard for the breakfast buffet, but this was expected and we planned for the costs. We really enjoyed the pool area and I was surprised to see that the families were able to enjoy the larger pool and play area, while the 20 somethings used the adjacent pool. We would absoutely stay here again."

"We travel all over the world and have stayed at many Wyndham properties. This one is clean for an older facility and the staff was very courteous. I only have 2 minor complaints. Parking is terrible. We were visiting with friends who brought their kids down from New Jersey and we would drive to their hotel in the morning and twice had a hard time getting out of a parking space because someone was double parked behind us. I finally found a place we could back in to prevent getting blocked in. There where still lots of cars double parked the next morning. The other is the pool. It is a very nice setup for the family, it is just open way too late. After spending 12 hours at the parks and in the heat, it was impossible to go to bed before 11 pm. There were kids running up and down the halls and the rooms have very little soundproofing. So I would recommend it, I WOULD NOT WANT A ROOM OVERLOOKING THE POOL AGAIN."

"Nice hotel for the price. The staff are very friendly except that man from rental agency which is very rude and unprofessional. The shuttle to the theme park is just fine. Hope they could add more shuttles instead of every 30 minutes they could do it every 15 minutes. And also they don't have a shuttle to universal studios that I ended up renting a car. The housekeeping were also just fine except one day we came home from the theme park and the room was not made. The
garbage was still there, old towels were on the floor and we were all upset. We had a reservation to meet that day and we can't take a shower because there's no clean towels and soap. I called the front desk immediately and the service was fast and they gave us towels and soap. After that incidence the housekeeper was always up on their schedules and every time we came home the room was clean, had new towels, soap and a clean garbage can."

Had issues with cleaning staff- came back to room one afternoon, cleaning staff had came in and door was not shut we pushed the door open and walked in, same thing happened to room two doors down! Left card on bed for clean sheets, not done, Mopped floor in bathroom and my son almost fell as it was like a bucket a water was emptied out, so I had to dry the floor. "The hotels Is very nice. it is easily a 3 star hotel. The room was clean and the cover beds are wonderful. However, the staff at the front desk disappointed me. When I booked online, I was promised a room with a pool/lake view. The gave me a tennis court view which was located next to the pool. From the second floor I could not even see the lake from a distance. Luckily, I had kept a print out copy of my reservation and after a while the manager put me in room you could see the pool and lake from far away."

"In comparison to other (much nicer) hotels that I've stayed at in the area, this hotel was your average, 'OK' hotel. The facility was very family oriented. The room was small, clean, but outdated...simply put, it was nothing special, just average at best. The breakfast at the hotel was nice, and quite the full service buffet. Expect to pay quite the price for breakfast, in comparison to other breakfast places off-site. The location of the hotel was prime and right next to Downtown Disney. The hotel was in my opinion, just 'OK'."

"We spent 8 nights in this hotel in the beginning of June 2012. The hotel is right next door to Downtown Disney (we literally walked there) and close to both Disney and Universal. The staff was helpful and friendly, the restaurant was reasonably priced and yummy, and the pool area was fantastic!
The beds were comfortable, the TV was HUGE, the in-room safe was handy, and our view of the garden and pool was wonderful. My only 'complaint' - if you can call it that - was that the water pressure was really low in the shower and the bathroom was really small. You literally had to lift the toilet seat to close the bathroom door. But since we were rarely even in the room, I wasn't too concerned with these issues.
We enjoyed ourselves very much and plan to return to this hotel next time we visit."

"My wife and I like to do an overnight 'getaway' to Downtown Disney, so we prefer staying at the Wydham because it is the closest hotel, we can usually find a decent rate and it is within easy walking distance to Downtown Disney. The rooms are basic, but nice, clean, very nicely arranged. No complaints. We like to visit the various restaurants in Downtown Disney. We are frequent patrons of the Wyndham and will continue to be if they continue to offer stays of one night at decent rates. We are Floridians who live only 1.5 hours drive away.

"I don't even know where to start. This had to be the worse experience I have ever had in a hotel. For them to call this place a RESORT is a joke. The service in this place was LOUSY! This staff needs to be retrained and given hospitality courses. They were extremely rude and loud. We even saw a couple of employees having a shouting match with each other. Rooms were musty and smelled like a herd of cows stayed there overnight. We expected A lot more from a hotel on Disney property. We would have been better off staying in a motel in old town. This place gives the Buena Vista area a bad rep. Please believe me when I tell you, save your money and find a better place, or roll the dice!"

"This was my first trip to Orlando and the hotel was disgusting. The floor felt sticky and the AC was very loud. For some reason the bathroom looked like a closet with a sliding door. The celings were too low . the worst part was when i lifited the sheet there were STAINS! I The staff was nice and held our bag when we checked in to early. location was great . Had free shuttles to Disney and walking distance to downtown Disney. I would not book with this hotel again."

"My fiance and I booked a room at this hotel and it was not what we expected. When we removed the comforter that was at the foot of the bed, there was dried blood stains on the bed cover and it looked like someone had laid on the bed with their shoes on because there was traces of dirt as well. When i told the hotel manager, they gave us complimentary breakfast with the characters vouchers, but we were not able to use them because we were only there for one night. The manager also waived the resort fees, but they would not refund our money. We were very upset about this and although the staff was over all friendly, we wanted our money back. The hotel is lucky we did not contract any diseases from the blood, otherwise the hotel would be liable. You would think a refund would not be out of the question. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would rather pay more to stay at a hotel that values their guests more."

"We reserved this hotel because of the location and the fact that was a Disney resort hotel. says new rooms and the photos shows the new tower building and the pool area. What they don't tell you and doesn't show its an addition next to the building what I believe was an old motel that they acquired which is connected to the hotel on the left side. We were assigned on of those rooms, facing the entry and exit of all garbage containers of the hotel, the motel style building its old and falling apart. Furniture was rooted, bathroom in poor condition, and room very small, for the rate we paid its way overpriced, not includes internet,parking and other basic services you get on the majority hotels in the area, they charge you a $18 resort fee for all these basi services. We file a complaint at the front desk, but they only waived the resort fee. We took pictures of our room as the location of the building, unfortunately we cant post here, but we will post on TripAdvisor and Yelp.The hotel is misleading their customers by putting false advertising, way overpriced for this kind of rooms, the only plus is the location which is next to downtown Disney. "

"I have stayed with this hotel chain many times before and once at this same location. I was shocked at the poor customer service I received last night upon check-in at this resort. Upon check-in, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and that they only had single queen bed rooms available. I was told there was nothing they could do for me. The solution offered to me was to put my six year old daughter on a roll-a-way bed and squeeze myself, my husband, and my four year old into a queen sized bed. As I proceeded to the elevator I realized that I was assigned the wrong room category as well. I went up to the front desk and requested the tower room that I had paid for over a month ago. They told me that I did not book that type of room. I proceeded to produce a copy of my receipt that clearly stated that I was to have a tower room with two double beds. I offered to pay more for a tower room, a suit or even an extra room to accommodate my family. I was again told there was nothing they could do. I went frustrated to my outdoor entrance room all the way on the back side of the hotel which was poorly lit. Upon entering the room I found the queen sized bed to be entirely too small for three people and the roll-a-way bed to be in despicable condition. The mattress was only 3 1/2 inches thick , stained, and smelled of urine. I quickly called another hotel to book a room that was acceptable. I wouldn't even allow my dog sleep on the roll-a-way bed that was provided to me. The manager on duty was extremely harsh, rude, and unaccomidating. As I proceeded to check out I noticed another two families complaining about being in the same predicament. I will never stay at this property again. "

"Most friendly place we ever stayed!! The employees were super. We were upgraded to a higher floor(which I had put in for as a request) and facing Disney so we could see the fireworks. My 2 granddaughters loved it and the pool was great because of the kiddie area and the not too deep rest of it. All in all it was a great time. The only thing that was a negative was there was some kind of very little bug--maybe ants--near the coffee brewer."

"It was a nice place conveniently located but the advertising for this property was misleading. I thought I was going to a Disney resort but instead it's a resort on Disney property not one of the Disney resorts so you don't get all the extra perks of staying with Disney. My Question is who is this resort catering too? It's too pricey for a family and for a business traveler it has a fee for everything. Aside from the nights we paid there are resort fees paid for each night, no breakfast included not even free coffee in the lobby as some hotels have and for business travelers if you need to use the internet that's another fee, local calls are not free. Even the computers that they have in the lobby for guest use have to be paid at .25 per minute, the snacks at the lobby are overpriced, one bottle of water cost $2.50 the same price as in the Disney parks. They also offer a breakfast with Disney characters at $22 plus tax plus any tip per person and the only characters they have are Pluto and Goofy. Staff where ok but not what you expect to find in Disney. Other than that they are centrally located and have a bus that runs to the parks every half hour which is convenient. And they are very clean so that's definitely a plus. My toddler loved the pool and the lady that coordinates the bus trips to the parks was very kind. Not sure if I would recommend it to a friend but Ill mark yes since we had a great time at Disney."

"Our first meeting was a lovely young lady who even tho the property was non-smoking gave my husband her lighter and should him where it was permissable to smoke, after a long plane/taxi ride this was a godsend. During our stay we saw her again with the same helpful and cheerful attitude, thank you! And also to the older gentleman at guest services, I am sorry I did not get his name, but when I expressed a concern over my son getting bit by something, he did not send me to someone else but went to the management and took care of situation promptly as to not hold us up from our plans. This was greatly appreciated. The pool bartender great as well. You should be proud of the staff that represents your facility."

"We just returned. From the minute we checked in to the minute we left our service was fantastic. Staff was fantastic very accomodating. Room has a nice size fridge for our groceries which we were able to obtain from Gooding's just a short walk away or a 14.00 RT cab fare. Hotel is very close to Downtown disney and we enjoyed that throughly.. Earle of sandwich is a must and VERY affordable for disney. We also ate at Cooke's and house of blues and both meals were Excellant. Buses run every 1/2 hr and we never waiting more than just a few minutes for any bus. Great perk. Overall we were very satisfied with our Tower room , location and staff. Our trip was perfect. oh and by the way the beds were extremely comfortable for hotel beds."

"Well, the staff were very nice and the hotel although old was very clean. That's about it. The location is nowhere near the Disney theme parks as was advertised, and we wasted hours of time to and fro. The rooms are VERY small. The in house restaurant was both expensive and downright horrible for dinner. For breakfast, it was alright. Be warned...do not dine there in the evening. The phone in our room did not work the entire 4 days we were there, in spite of numerous requests to have it fixed and just as many unfulfilled promises. The fees, after booking and paying amounted to another $30 /day for parking and resort fees taxes. We were there for the Magic Kingdom, but this turned more into the Tragic Kingdom."

"The location is great. Walking distance to downtown Disney. The staff in the two restaurants and the bar are very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Those were the positives. The negatives unfortunately outweighed any positives. I had no hot water my first morning there. I had payed for an upgrade to lake/pool view. One room was fine but the other had a view of the parking lot/tennis court. When I brought this to the front desk attendants attention she said that we received the upgrade that the room was considered a view room. Really, on what planet is a view of the parking lot an upgrade? Considering that the hotel looked to be only 30% full I was shocked that they did not offer to satisfy us. Especially when they then tried to sell us a timeshare. Why would I even consider this? The parking was far from the front door and they were rude about allowing us to load and unload at the front door. They would not even allow pick up even though there were two lanes and there were no other cars in sight. This happened repeatedly. You have to park and drag your luggage through the parking lot, and into a tiny elevator that smelled horrible. A combination of moldy rubber and sweat. So disgusting that I choose the stairs the rest of the week. My key card did not work half the time. When I went for a new one I received a lecture about not keeping it by my phone credit cards or magnetic clasp. Seriously? I really love getting lectured by an establishment like this? Why don't you get a better card system? I would never stay there again nor would I recommend this to anyone. Very disappointed."

I had one issue initially after checking in and I don't know if it was a communication error. I initially received a room with 2 double beds instead of the king bed I paid for but that issue was rectified within a minute. Everything else was smooth sailing after that. "In my 63 years It was the worst night my wife and I have ever spent in a hotel. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was cut short. We were in room 1072 bottom floor next to the elevator. All night long all we heard was the elevator dinging up and down as if it was in our room. Through out the night the yelling and loud talking was just incredible right out in front of our door. The bed we slept in caved in the middle when we laid on it. I'm sure by now you must know we did not sleep all night. At approximatley 6:15 a.m. I called the front desk and asked to be moved to another room and they stated there were no room available so we checked out. NEVER AGAIN"

"This was our first stay in Orlando, FL for the purpose of taking our kids to Disney's Magic Kingdom. We can't say enough about how pleasant our experience was at this hotel. We were able to purchase our Magic Kingdom tickets at the hotel. The playground in the pool was a big hit for our kids and we enjoyed the convenience of the food and drinks available pool side. Once we checked in and parked our car, we didn't need to drive anywhere! We were within walking distance to Downtown Disney and rode a shuttle from the hotel to and from Magic Kingdom! Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we got a great nights sleep. The Character Breakfast Thursday morning made our stay even more Magical! We will definately stay here again and recommend this hotel to all of our friends!"

"We just stayed overnight in Orlando on our way to Mexico Beach. The hotel was recommended by a friend-we loved it. The room was clean, the staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. We would derinitely return. Found prices in the little Cafe a bit high but expected that due to the location. We had been up since three a.m. and when my wife finally got to the room at two-thirty in the p.m. she found the bed a very comfortable haven for a few hours before we went out to enjoy Walt DIsney World Village."

"We arrived at this hotel on the day of our reservation about 15mins after check in time and was told that our room was not ready and to have a seat and our room would be ready shortly. 45 mins later we were still sitting in the lobby with a 3 yr old and 7yr old who had been riding in the car for 8 plus hours already that day! I went back up to the desk inquiring about our room to be told that they did not have our room that we reserved available at all. The person at the desk then went into a room behind the desk to 'get the manager' to explain. When the manager came out he then proceeded to tell us that they did not have any tower rooms available, as our reservation was for, due to 'engineering problems'. He then told us our only option was to stay in a traditional room which had an exterior entrance, the only room which they could offer us. We were placed in a traditional room with 2 double beds and was told by the manager on duty that day that we would be refunded 1/2 of the amount we paid for the 5 night stay we had already pre-paid. Upon check out we were again told by person at desk that our account was marked to be refunded 1/2 of total amount of pre-paid money . Have not seen a refund to our account as of yet."

"POSITIVES: Walking distance to Downtown Disney, Shuttle to/from Magic Kingdom. NEGATIVES: 86 degrees & Nice day for a swim, but the water was so cold no one was using the pool (kids were all in the hot tub). First room was on the 1st floor adn had to move becasue of proximity to parking lot and somewhat %u2018stanky' (oofah!) So they put us in a comparable room on the 3rd floor. The bathroom smelled like urine/mildew. Once we contacted the front desk, they quickly responded and changed-out the nasty shower curtain. It appears they are trying to update (lobby, pool, breezeways). But I think the weak link is housekeeping. i.e. they should have changed the shower curtain during the turn of the room rather than leave a guests/us with a negative impression. Warning: do not look under the bed.... We were trying to find a memory card for the camera and checked under the bed. Found a bunch of fuzzy Goldfish crackers. Jeez! My 2 cents: TRAIN the housekeeping staff for proper & thorough cleaning process. Why invest all the money into common area improvements & upgrades if Guests will not return or recommend the hotel to others because of funky odors, and a lack of cleanliness. Lastly I booked my trip for several days in MARCH. But when we showed up at the Wyndham; they had the reservation for MAY(?!) I sort of think the hotel screwed things up for I received a confirmation email just prior to the trip and the days for the reservation were correct. Thankfully they had rooms avail & the helpful person at the front desk was able to correct."

"I was told we had a kitchenette in our room with a sitting area, not true. I was told it was a five minute walk to epcot, we were miles away. We were told we would have a disney view and a roll away bed. We looked at a wall out our window and they did not do roll away beds. Not worth the deal I thought I got. "Pool towels were non existent, never received the USA Today, never received the coupons we needed to get the child's free breakfast, the staff at the front desk, the pool bar and in the restaurant were not remotely friendly although the parking and maintenance staff were, Parking was a nightmare, since there are not enough parking spots people just made their own. The biggest nightmare though was the transporation system, no one explained anything to us about two buses, we spent over 1.5 hours traveling twice just to get from a park to the hotel even though we specifically asked the second time where the bus was headed, trips that should have taken no more than 15-20 minutes. I saved about $40 a night staying in Lake Buena Vista versus in a Disney value hotel and it was not worth it."

"First, I booked a pool/lake view room and when we got there, it was almost 10:00 at night. So, we could not tell we didn't have a pool/lake view room until the next morning. However, the staff were very happy to switch us to the correct type of room. The 1st room had an awful smell and the 2nd room was no better. The elevator was dirty and didn't seem to be cleaned very often. There was food or something stuck to some of the buttons and the floor was always dirty. We were there for 6 nights and our room was only vacummed once the entire time we were there. There was a piece of plastic behind the bathroom door when we arrived (a large piece) and it was there for 3 days before we finally threw it away. Obviously whoever was doing the cleaning was not doing a thorough job. There were days when our towels were not replenished. The hotel offers free buses to Disney, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. However, you had to stop at multiple hotels along the way and it is only available every 1/2 hour. There is a city bus available in Orlando, but when asked about it, the staff said they didn't know anything about it and wouldn't recommend it because they didn't know the schedules. However, they always 'pushed' us to use a taxi (which is probably 3x the price of the bus). The hotel gift shop has many things to offer, but no less expensive than at the parks. There is a 'Character' breakfast at the hotel. However, they only have pluto and goofy. So, don't get your kids too excited about it. There is a 24 hour cafe on site, with high prices. $3.00 for a single serving of cereal. However, the people that worked there were very nice. The hotel charges a $16/day 'resort fee'. I am not sure why they do that considering you already are paying to stay at the hotel. They should just add it to the nightly fee so you don't feel like you are being charged extra once you get there. They offer free wi-fi, but we couldn't get it to work in our room. I used the computer in the business office and was charged and outrageous fee. It was 25 cents a minute and cost 75 cents to print 1 page. So, just remember you get what you pay for!!! I would recommend using one of the disney value resorts where you have a bus that runs continuously and where you have the option of the disney dining plans and extra hours at the parks. It would definitely be worth the extra money."

"Wyndham LBV Resort was very close to downtown Disney, which was nice since I was with my 18 and 20 year old grandchildren. Before coming here, we had spent 1 night at Portifino Bay Hotel on Universal Property, probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed(and also the most expensive) so this was kind of a let down. I mean the room was about the size of the bathroom at the other hotel! But, as I said, quite a difference in price. My granddaughter wanted a rollaway so she could have her own bed and they were going to charge $50 per night.(it was free at Portifino Bay) but there was no room to put it anyway. There was a free bus to the Magic Kingdom every 30 minutes. It was freshly painted and very clean. The hot tub was hot w/powerful jets. Pool not heated. There was supposed to be free wifi in the room but it wasn't working, in the room or in the lobby so they took my $16 per day resort fee off the bill. My grandchildren didn't like people walking right by our room so we had to keep all the drapes drawn all the time, which made the small room even more cavelike. But all the rooms are this way except in the tower. I had upgraded $10 per night for poolside but think the tower rooms $10 more had inside halls. Refrigerator in the room, free parking if you did it yourself which was easy. Our car was very close to our room."

"I found the Wyndham to be in the perfect location for going to the Disney parks and downtown Disney being only a 5 minute walk was amazing with a toddler. The charater breakfast with Goofy and Pluto was alot of fun for my 3 years who got to take pictures and spend time with them. When we first go to the hotel our room looked out to a wall but when we went downstair to speak to the front desk they were able to give us new room in minutes. I would have given all 5 but when I went to ask about the buses going to the shopping malls the staff was not very helpful when I indicated I had booked a time for pick up and the bus did not arrive they did not seem interested in finding out why or advocate on my behalf to the bus company. But overall a 5 we plan to go back in a year or two and will at the Wynham."

When you are at Disney you rarely are in your room anyway. Breakfast was a little pricey (but what isn't in Orlando) but very good. Everything was fresh and well presented. Wait staff was awesome. "The worst thing about this hotel was that it was very dirty!!! The pictures on the website look so nice, but they don't show the truth! First, I booked a pool/lake view room and did not realize until the next morning that we did not get one. (It was almost 10:00 at night when we checked in and we could not tell that we didn't have a pool view. We just figured it was closed and the lights were out.) The staff was very happy to switch us to the correct type of room the very next morning when we brought it to their attention. The 1st room, we were in, had an awful smell and the 2nd room was no better. Not sure what was causing the smell. The elevator was dirty and didn't seem to be cleaned very often. There was food or something stuck to some of the buttons and the floor was always dirty. We were there for 6 nights and our room was only vacummed once the entire time we were there. There was a piece of plastic behind the bathroom door when we arrived (a large piece) and it was there for 3 days before we finally threw it away. "Really didn't like how the hotel was laid out--we stayed on floor 2 on one of the wings and it was a lot of walking--stairs or elevator to get back to the main lobby. Also beware of the Wyndum Time Share program--they give you a $100.00 gift card for attending and tell you it's a 90 minute program--It's more like 3 hours and quite 'sales pitch' intense. If you have a hard time telling a person NO do not go to this. I would never do it again--even for a larger gift amount. Besides that, I think for the money we spent on the room this hotel was good."

"This hotel is nothing like it advertises itself. Upon entry into our room we found it small and kinda '1950's'. It was clean, but the ceilings were low and the bathroom was not very nice - very old and small. There was no fan so it got humid and sticky when you tried to fix your hair. No shampoo, conditioner, etc. The hotel promised transportation every half hour and we spent over 3 hours our first night there trying to return from Epcot Center. It was very frustrating! There is no free breakfast for kids as advertised and the food was extremely expensive. The overall hotel lobby, etc was very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and I think did the best they could with what they knew. One of them had to draw me a map when I asked for a hotel brochure. Another person tried to sell us a promotion that we found out wasn't available for Michigan. The 'heated' pool wasn't very warm. There were nice aspects to this hotel, but we won't return."

"False Advertisement!!! What a dump! It states that this hotel has 'new rooms', what they fail to tell you is that they've only renovated half of the hotel. Our room had visible mold in the bathroom,visible water damage in the walls, smelled horrible, the TV didnt work, the safe didnt work and the carpet was damp. We asked for a change a room, and was given a hard time. We were told that to 'upgrade' to the 'tower' portion of the hotel (which is what is shown on the website, we were put in the side wings) we would have to pay more $$$. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. The only good part of this hotel was being across the street from Downtown Disney. What a way for my husband and I to spend our anniversary. I will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone!!!"

"This hotel is average. Not bad, just average. Standard hotel room, but GREAT view if you elect the Disney view. It is great to see the sunset and the Disney parks in the distance along with Downtown Disney. We LOVED the dual coffee maker and the Wolfgang Puck coffee - all included for free, as much as you want! Cleaning crew very nice, efficient, and accommodating, but NOISY very early in the morning - slamming doors and yelling to each other. There truly is only one thing BAD about this hotel - SO bad, we almost canceled and went elsewhere: THE PARKING. Nothing is more aggravating than having to park far away, making the hike uphill to the office, not knowing how many entrances / exits are in the hotel, or where your room is, just to go back the car to bring everything back again. They WILL NOT ALLOW someone to park under the canopy to check in, drop off bags, and then park. AS SOON as I told the valet guy that I didn't want valet parking, I became public enemy #1 to him and he became rude and uncaring. He actually got between me and the front door exclaiming that I could not leave my car there. MOST hotels have entrances on all sides which all lead to a central elevator hub. Not this one. There is one way in and one way out, so parking becomes a HOT commodity, especially when even the CLOSEST parking space forces you to walk at least 100 yards uphill. Come on Wyndham - look how the other 'Big Boys' do it around you and LEARN!! We enjoyed staying there, but parking and check-in were not thought through."

"We were a party of 7 celebrating our 40 years of age all together!!! We asked for adjoining rooms, excelent room service, cleanliness, security, and easy acess to the parking lot.

"First, I asked for room with a king size bed, I got two queen. Second, they game a tickets for 'kid eat free' which is great but, I HAVE NO KIDS, asked them to trade ot for adults... Off course they CAN'T. Third, I think is not ethical to 'offer' a teaser rate of $79 then get hit with $16 a day for 'resort fees', am checking into a resort?!?!?!? Are you going to charge extra to use the poo and towelsl, I guess Wyndham does, what is next? Pay for the room but if you want to use the shower or watch TV you have to pay extra?. Fourth, not only did they charge me for the entire stay IN ADVANCE, and charge me for the entire resort fee IN ADVANCE but that is not good enough, they made me sign a paper saying that is I check out 'early', I pay a $50 penalty. What is that all about, are we holding people hostage now?!?!?! Give me a break. When you do the math, I could have stayed at the HILTON BONNET CREEK for the same amount AND they don't charge extra to use the pool, towels or WiFi in the open areas. Never AGAIN"

"We had a comfortable stay at the Hotel. We would like specifically to mention the Fun Director, who helped plan our visits to the various parks. That saved us a lot of time.
The flip side was the wait for the bus to return to the hotel. We went to the Animal Kingdom and had to wait over an hour from @5.30 PM. This was not as we were told that it would be half an hour interval. It was cold that day, that made things worse."

"I agree with the other viewers, the hotel Motel wasnt all that great. The hotel website is false advertisement it had everything thats on the site, but when you get there it doesnt look anything like the pictures on the site. I was very disappointed with my stay. if i would go back to Orlando i wouldnt staty there never again. The restaurant the food was nasty, service was bad. the only people that make my stay there very nice were two employees at the restaurant, and the nice lady that cleaned my room, Very nice and greeted my children and myself with a smile and pleasant conversation. I thank the three of them for a job well done."

"the hotel is as expensive as a 4 1/2 luxury resort, without any of the perks or even the basics. it's the quality of a 'days inn' the doors slam from room to room so you can hear everyones comings and goings through the doors slamming! it's a very old hotel, and even though I stayed at the NEWLY remodeled tower, it was very lacking in quality...on top of how expensive the stay is for the loud, old place they charge a $25 resort fee DAILY!!!! and for parking. I am now staying at a 4 1/2 star LUXURY place { rosen shingle creek] which is immaculate,stunning,with views,peaceful, amazing suite that is huge, excellent service, FOR THE SAME RATE!!!! "Our issue is not with book-it, their customer service was outstanding. Our issue is with the blatant false advertising this low-budget motel uses. We researched the supposed RESORT. When we got there the only friendly person the entire stay was the check in clerk. The room was musty and inadequate for 4 people. The fixtures were falling off the wall. When I asked if there were other rooms available the reply was this is a really good deal for a low budget hotel. The Lake view was a glorified retention pond!! The only acurrate description was they did have a heated pool. For $15 more a night we could have stayed at an actual DISNEY RESORT especially since this was my sons birthday weekend and he thought it would be neat to be able to go by boat/monorail ect.. Lastly, it is abhorant that they allow hawking of their time share sister hotels during check in. We were mortified by how desperate the booking lady was and to just get away from her my husband signed up and then planned to cancel but when he tried they refused even though there was no obligation so we were out $20. They said were lacking the reciept even thoughshe had a list with our name and paid on it. to make matters worse with their lying my husband went out to the bus that was supposed to transport us to veiw the 'new resort' and they asked for his receipt he said he didn't get one and they said thats ok I have your names right here and they still wouldn't refund the $20. Have already spoken to book-it and let them know the situation and the fact that 2 requests for management to contact us from the hotel have gone ignored. Will use book-it again if they come up with a resolution for our dissatisfaction."

"This is our second time staying at this resort and our last! Both experiences have been awful! The lobby of this resort is very nice, however, when you get to your room....what a big surprise! This is an OLD resort that has been shabbily re-done. No amount of cleaning can make up for the dinginess of this place. We had to ask to change rooms due to the loud noise level at the pool outside our room. "The stay was alright.
The room was clean, but much of it was in ill repair. Pipes popping out of walls, doors falling off furniture. Just not great. That being said, it was clean.
The staff was hit or miss. The cleaning crew was outstanding, as were the bell hops. The front counter and guest services seemed annoyed that I bothered them and were quite contemptuous in their remarks.
When I return to Orlando, I don't think this Resort will be my choice. Sure, it is close to Downtown, but little time is really spent there.
For the price, it just didn't have enough return.

"Dont think i will go back. We were first put in the worst room in the whole hotel.
Room 1052. It was ground floor, on the end, next to the hallway and stairs where all the traffic of people coming in and out. It was so loud all night long we got no sleep at all. the next day we had to pay to move and they made us wait 3 hours to get a room. we could not go any where or do any thing for 3 hours. We were wondering if we got the worst room in the hotel, because we booked it on line with bookit.com.

"Enjoyed our five day stay with this Resort in Orlando FL. Only complain was the Construction going on in the parking Lot outside our room every morning! The staff was very friendly and professional during our stay. I reported a Nail head sticking out of the carpet before the bathroom area, when a step on it barefooted it hurt, left a hand towel on nthe spot , to mark the spot to avoid future mishaps. Overall a great trip!"

"We booked through Book-It , and the motel was great ,, what we didn't like was the first thing they said to us at the motel was we owed more money because Bookit .com doesnt tell you about the charge at the motel of $18 dollars extra a night for service we didnt even use or want .. and I dont beleive it was Bookits fault .. "This is our first visit to Orlando, where we visited Mickey and friends, and we decided to stay at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel.. We stayed here for 4 days..when we arrived there was construction going on just right before the entrance, its hassle-free anyway..then we had to wait for our room to be ready since we got there pretty early from the check-in time of the hotel..everything here is a wait just don't want to mention all...although room was nice and neat, perfect for us, great view and amenities..ooops, i just have to complain about the toilet, the first day we were here, it wasn't working by the time we have to flush, but they fixed it the next morning..then we dont have the DND sign (Do not Disturb) i called the receptionist to ask for one, they said they ran out...which i didn't like coz i dont want the housekeeper to go inside our room for some reason.... I love the pool!!! This is why I chose to be here instead of the other hotels I search through site, coz they have the best and renovated pool..the breakfast with the character is not worth it, food is expensive for me..that time we didn't realize we are just five minutes walking distance to Downtown Disney, literally just right across the street of our hotel, I wish we just spend our dollars eating there instead at the hotel coz there's a lot of choices and so much to do....buses are free to get to different theme parks...it was raining the whole time we were here so we have to buy ponchos at the Disney shop inside hotel, which is very convenient for us and definitely they have the same price as the ones in the theme parks..and my daughter loves it here coz it's beside the playroom....we would love to come back here.."

"We booked this hotel for its proximity to Downtown Disney. It is half a block away which is great! Also, they have a shuttle in front of the hotel to go to the different parks, which helps out as well.
The pool is pretty good.
The downsides:
We were in the sunset wing of the hotel. The toilet paper holder was barely attached to the wall. There was food in our freezer portion of the fridge and the bathtub did not drain very well. It took along time for the water to go down.
Finally, the morning that we were going to check out, the maid knocked on our door at 8:15am (waking us up!). Check out wasn't until 11am. She was just checking to see if we were checking out today and said she will be back later. We didn't really appreciate the disturbance."

"Great service and great accommodations. Pool wasn't heated and it was chilly first few days until it warmed up to 78 outside. They said it is heated only in the winter. Character breakfast was $22 opposed to daily breakfast for $17 for adults but had 2 characters & change every half hour - Goofy & Pluto. Kids eat free every day, but you have to pick up the tickets for that at the front desk . Roll away beds are available for $50 per night - a bit steep as the room was only $79 for a tower room - great view! Really enjoyed all the facilities there including the shop and convenience market and especially the fantastic breakfasts - well worth the $$ for that! "

"My wife and I surprised our kids with a trip to Disney World and debated to stay in the Disney resorts like Pop Century or The Caribbean, but decided to spend less on the hotel, since the time spent there would be mostly to sleep. We were delighted to walk in a see a very nice lobby and quick guest services and check in. The hallways and stair cases to go to our rooms had seen better days, but the room was nice, nothing over the top but fit our needs perfectly. The pool area was very nice and a hit for the kids (ages 6 and 9). The best thing about the hotel was the convience of the shuttel service to the parks, the short walk to Downtown Disney and a 1/2 mile walk to all the restaurants you get at home (with at home prices)."

"Me & my boyfriend decided to stay here for our short, last minute DIsney World trip. We originally booked 2 nights in a king suite with bookit because the price was right for us. When we got there, they told us they did not have any king suites so they said they would upgrade us to a double suite in the tower at no extra charge. The bad thing was that there were 2 smaller beds instead of 1 bigger bed, which meant we had to sleep in separate beds. The good thing was that we got a room all the way at the top of the tower with a great view at no charge! We also decided to stay an extra night once we got there and they added it, no problem. However, they did not reset our room key for the third night so we had to go down to the front desk because we could not get into our room. We did not think it was that big of a deal but the girl at the front desk apologized profusely for the inconvenience. With that being said, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were really nice and clean. We did not have any problem getting to and from the resorts with the shuttle service they provided. We would definitely stay there again!"

"So close to Downtown Disney, we walked there every day to catch the bus. Only 2x did we use the resort shuttle, and it was convenient as well. Rooms were decent, clean and great for the $. Had nice size fridges so we could keep lots of beverages and snacks. Took one commenters advice and stayed in the tower. Got upgraded to a higher floor and had a great view of the city. Very nice pool area, large and clean with large bar and eatery. Cup of coffee @ lobby snack area was more expensive here than at Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney if you didn't make it in the room."

"We stayed at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel from 6 - 10 Oct 11. This was our first trip to Disney World. From the room we could hear trucks backing up late at night to do deliveries/pick up trash. These sounds are necessary for safety. This depends which side of he hotel you are on. We could hear people walking in the hallway early in the morning. I was told to stay in the tower if possible. The tower was booked while we were there. The reception staff is not knowledgeable about the dining facility. The staff said certain dinner meals were being served in the dining facility. The dining facility stated these meals hadn't been served for some time. The manager called the reception staff and lodged complaints about their lack of knowledge about meals being served. There were very few people eating at the dining facility while we were eating. We were told we could catch a bus to the Shades of Green Hotel by crossing the street out front of the hotel. The shuttle bus stop outside (to the right of the hotel) could only take us to a shuttle bus station where we could catch onward transportation. Make sure you catch the right shuttle bus. Different buses take you to different theme parks. When you get to your destination, ask the driver the return departure times and the correct parking space numbers for pick up. Different buses keep different schedules. The buses are free. You pay for the bus with your hotel fees. We hung a 'Do not Disturb' sign on the outside door handle but, yet the maid came into the room while we were gone and did her routine. The hotel room was adequate. The television was not clear. I think something was wrong with the cable connections. The reception staff was friendly and cheerful. They adequately answered all the questions I had. The hotel has a good location. It is about 30 minutes to each Disney theme park by shuttle. It is just a ten minute walk to Disney Downtown where I recommend you eat meals as much as possible instead of eating in the hotel. There is a lot to do at Disney Downtown instead of doing nothing in the hotel. If there is a threat of rain, take your own ponchos. Ponchos are $8.50 at the parks. Most entrances to park rides are covered to some extent."

I was worried about the complexities of a Disney trip across the continent with 2 Kids (6 and 10). but bookit.com`s flight arangements and the Wyndham Staff and their services made it smooth and effortless for us. "Our experience was great at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista. The pool was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Our room was right beside the large trash dump outside- which was annoying at 5:00am when it was 'trash pick up time'. We did not stay in our room much. We spent our days out and basically used the room for showering and sleeping. This was perfect for us, especially for the price. This is the place for you if you want a basic hotel with basic amenities. Don't expect a luxury resort while staying here. The shuttles were great to and from disney parks. Overall great experience."

"The Wyndham Resort lobby is beautiful. Friendly staff but there could of been more help at the front desk. My room was outdated but very clean We were only in our room to shower & sleep. You can catch the buses right out side the hotel. Going to the parks was easy it was coming back to the hotel which was hard. We were tired and we saw the buses that we needed to take parked off to the end of the parking lot. I went over to see the bus driver. He was smoking a butt and talking on his phone. We waited 45 minutes!
I would stay at the Wyndham Resort again. The pool area is beautiful and the food at the grill was good and reasonable. I was told they are in the process of updating there rooms. "

"Older hotel but clean and being updated. Most of the rooms have outside door access. When we arrived we had one of these but we upgraded to an indoor access room with no problems. Pool was nice and a great place for our young kids to play.
What made the stay was that when we left my wife left her wedding rings on the bathroom counter. We didn't discover this until several hours after leaving. After a call to the Wyndam and speaking with housekeeping and security the rings had been turned in. Since we were still in Orlando we were able to pick them up at the front desk within the hour.

This was my first family vacation trip to Orlando. I really enjoy my stay at Wyndham Resort. The room was nice and clean with Wi-Fi for internet services. The room had a great view of Downtown Disney. The resort had great Disney gift shop that I was able to purchase an autograph book and pen for my daughter. She enjoy carry the book around for all the Disney charter to sign it. I really enjoy look on her face when she got Snow White autograph. The resort had a great water play area at pool that my daughter enjoy very much. The Resort location was just perfect, right next to Downtown Disney. It only took us about 10 mins walk there with kids. The staff was very friendly and helppful with giving driving dirction to DisneyWorld and give alot of useful inform about the local area. "this was a planned visit with my niece and her family from Maryland who stayed at diff location and my husband and I stayed at Wyndham Resort. This was so easy to find and the staff from the moment we parked and was walking up to doors were greeted by the door bell guys welcomed us and lead us to the desk for checking in. Jamar at desk was very good with his skills to get us checked in and said we were upgraded to better view and that was all I needed to enjoy the rest of our stay! all the staff at this resort were very good to greet and answer any questions I had. the view was of the lake and city in background and room was so relaxing. Let me remind you that the Disney Downtown right NEXT door wish we walked to everyday! LOVED it here and we will return again. "

"We are a couple in our thirties and wanted a place to stay where we wouldn't need to drive for the length of our vacation. The resort was under construction/remodeling when we arrived, so it wasn't as nice as the pictures made it seem. Basically, it looks like a budget hotel, only bigger. The pool was nice and there is a hot tub and lots of space for kids to run around. Self-parking is included in the resort fee, excluding valet service. In general, our room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, we had free shuttle service to all the parks, with a 20-30 minute wait and the resort is only a short walking distance from Downtown Disney. If you're looking for a fancy resort, this is not it. If you're looking for a stress-free vacation and a sure ride to all the parks, then you've come to the right place!"

"I stayed at this hotel the first week of April for my son`s first Disney trip and was pleased with everything. Check-in was seamless, although the lady at the travel counter was pushy. The hotel is very nice. I loved the lobby. They even have a little play area for kids which my 2 year old son loved. The pool area is fantastic. We didn`t get a chance to swim but it was great. The character breakfast was great. The food they had on the buffet was awesome! I do wish they had Mickey at the breakfast, but we had to settle for Pluto and Goofy. Transportation to and from the parks were great. We literally didn`t have to drive anywhere after arriving at the hotel. Downtown Disney was at the end of the hotel driveway. We walked over there for dinner each night and had a fantastic time. The rooms were clean and nice. We stayed in the tower. After reading reviews, everyone suggested you stay there since the rooms are newer. The only complaint I had was the noise. There was a school band in town for a convention and they were a little noisy but we were so tired that we didn't mind. "
