last fall i gave the first promising review for the dolphin. this was to be updated with our second stay over christmas. well! it was a disaster-just like always. dirty. no service. staff less than courteous and housekeeping absolutely non existant! guess this property is only rated for the location. dont bother with it. not worth the hassle. staw at disney where you are appreciated, your room is clean abd the toilets and tv work. the dolphin bathtubs still do not drain and the toilets overf... We just returned from a trip to Walt Disney World and stayed at the Swan for the first time. We were underwhelmed. It is certainly a convenient location, but as DVC members generally anticipate a higher quality visit. I'm not a fan of the architecture of the hotels. I know that much has been said about them good and bad, just my opinion, but that's not really the problem. They just remodeled the rooms and the hallways and rooms are still SO sad and dated. I'm confident they were trying to stay ... Read more

It was great having access to the park so easily; walk, boat, shuttle! The staff was MAGNIFICENT and went above and beyond to ensure that our bachelorette party thoroughly enjoyed ourself (in an adult manner... we are not the rowdy group). Great pool, bar staff, loved it!

This Starwood properly is an easy walk or take the boat to the International Gateway entrance. We stayed at the Dolphin and had a room with a balcony to see the Epcot fireworks. Numerous restaurants between both the Swan and Dolphin with room charge privileges at both properties. The biggest negative is the number of conferences that use both sites, so be prepared for large numbers of guests at all times. The rooms were quite comfortable but you almost need a map just to navigate the hotel! P... Read more

For the right person is better than staying at some of the property hotels. This place is huge, if you are not type to use the hotel a lot during a Disney Vacation this is place for you. The pool is basic, rooms are nice and clean. This is all about location. The hotel is usually over run with business guests (which is fine, it is a great business hotel) but the location cannot be beat. It has amazing views of Hollywood Studios and a nice walk to Disney Boardwalk. What I love about this hotel is... Read more

We were lucky enough to be guests of the Walt Disney World Swan in may; a picture of my wife riding Splash Mountain (Angry Splash Mountain Lady) went viral earlier this year, and Visit Orlando, the official board of tourism for Orlando, brought our entire family back down to Orlando and to Walt Disney World to have us enjoy ourselves and take a picture on Splash Mountain, this time with me riding with her! The Walt Disney World Swan hosted us as guests, and from start to finish, they provided u... Read more

Is the hotel a little outdated? Yes. Does it need a face lift in a bad way? Yes. BUT the lobby is very nice (and smells amazing), the customer service was great and check in was a breeze, the bars and restaurants are fantastic and updated. The rooms are all kept very clean, they have plenty of space and the the beds were comfortable. You're at Disney World..how much time do you plan on spending in your room??! *It's a very nice and short walk to The Disney Boardwalk* The price was right and we... Read more

My husband and I are frequent guests at both the Swan and Dolphin. Although through the years there have been a few hiccups..the overall visits have been wonderful...and any small problems were taken care of with a smile. Not this time. We stayed at the Dolphin from May 29 - 31. It actually started with making the reservation...very abrupt.. a stay or do not stay attitude.. until a supervisor made it right. Check-in...the room was going to be ready shortly..just needed to be inspected..we waited... Read more

I would like to thank Shelby, Amethyst and staff, for making our stay at the Dolphin Hotel, May 7-9, 2016, extra special. We checked in mid morning, and were pleasantly surprised to find out our room was ready. It was a beautiful room , with a balcony and water view, overlooking the boat dock. My daughter and I were celebrating birthdays during our visit. We returned from the parks later that day, to find balloons and notecards wishing us a happy birthday. Thank you for all your hard wo... In 2015 we stayed at The Swan and this year, we stayed at The Dolphin. Both Disney World trips were packages we booked through Costco. The hotels are in various stages of remodeling, but we were not inconvenienced at all. This year we upgraded to one of the newly remodeled rooms. We love these two hotels because of the location and ease of using the Disney transportation system. We were delighted with the Picabo Restaurant on the Dolphin property. It was excellent for the kids and prices were... Read more

It never disappoints . The quality of the staff that will always go out of their way to be helpful from the moment you set foot on property. The food in every restaurant is amazing. The grounds are impeccable , rooms beautiful and clean. So many fun kid activities .

This hotel is in a nice location, walking distance to the boardwalk and Epcot. But the customer service is terrible - you pay the price of The Four Seasons, but get the customer service of a Motel 6. From the Disney desk, to the front desk, to the coffee station. No one goes out of their way. I lost my magic band in the park and was looking for a little help. The Disney person was no help, never even followed up with me. I asked the front desk for the lost and found number and he said he d... Read more

We had a large king suite and the view was horrible, we thoroughly enjoyed the view of all the HVAC and exterior wall. The shower was old and had a bad leek. To be fare the hotel maintenance fixed it while we were away to dinner. The location is close enough to enjoy the property over at The Boardwalk but won't take the "cheap" route next time. Best of luck.

This hotel needs a revamp and it us nit a cheap hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the boat access to EPCOT. It is clean but things are starting to look a little tired. Also there was some sort of buzzing in our room during the night which was not good. It may have been the air conditioners. We visited the Grand Floridian on our trip and the comparison between this and the Swan for cleanliness and smartness was tremendous. Also they charge you $18 per day parking which they inform yo...
