This hotel may be far from the business area, but it is close to Disney and the environment is so good a relaxation. The green grounds and nice trees would welcome you upon arrival at the hotel. The people are extra nice and polite. The room service is good but note that it is only up to 11pm, there is a convenience store inside the hotel which also closes at 11pm. They have all sorts of the stuff you need. The rooms are super spacious and it has all the things you need, from a kitchen with... Read more

The Hotel location and free shuttle service was perfect! There was even a Disney store in the Hotel lobby in case you forgot someone while at the parks. There was a bar in the Lobby for an end of the day drink and a dining room for a snack or dinner. The pool area was pretty with a hot tub and separate play pool for little kids.

The hotel is fine but having to pay for self parking is ridiculous. You already paying a steep rate but that is fine for the area. There should be free self parking. I'm not happy that you have to pay $17 plus for self parking permit day.

We were wonderfully surprised by how truly spacious and comfortable the suite was! As the other reviewers mentioned, there was a separate living room- kitchenette area with a small dining table and 4 chairs and a queen sofa bed. The bedroom had 2 very comfortable queen beds with lots of soft fluffy pillows. Two TV sets and an efficient well set up bathroom. This suite had everything one would need and want. Personnel were warm and friendly. Our niece and her family stayed at a Disney hotel... Read more

My family of 4 visited for a Disney World vacation. The overall stay, food, and accommodations was wonderful. The staff was friendly, outgoing and attentive to guests. The only downside to the vacation is the advertising of the free transportation to the Disney Parks, which was extremely unreliable departing from the hotel and picking up guests at the parks. The times were never consistent and I felt as if I had to guess when transportation would arrive. This may be because we visited dur... Read more

When I'm in town, I always enjoy coming here. Bed are nice, staff are awesome, specially Brendan. Nice gentleman he is. Very convenient location too, close to Downtown Disney, you could walk there. Rooms are spacious, and I've never tried a kurieg before, but it's a cool device.

We thought the hotel was clean and the staff was mostly friendly. We however left the hotel to go to Blizzard Beach and left a Fitbit on the counter. It was missing when we got back. We know it was left on the counter because we were going to a water park and they are not water proof, only splash proof. This Fitbit was over $150.00. My wife & I were very disappointed. I feel like we should be compensated for this & would like someone from the hotel to contact me regarding this theft.

My husband and I stayed here during our trip to Disney and Universal. Check-in and check-out were both very smooth. With the proximity to Disney there were many families here, so it could get a bit loud when families were getting ready to leave in the morning or getting back at night. Housekeeping was a bit lazy as we never had our trash cans emptied, or the area by our coffee machine cleaned up (it was sticky). Even with no personal items being left out, housekeeping did not wipe down counters.... Read more

Very nice Hilton property within walking distance of Disney Springs. It's about 3/4 mile to walk on a nice sidewalk. If you are driving, there are great restaurants around the corner. The shuttle service is spotty and takes some getting use to. It's not your typical Disney shuttle service as with a "real" on property hotel. Great value, but if you are coming for Disney, stay in one of the themed resorts actually on property to get the full experience.

We thought the beds to be quite comfortable. We had breakfast most days and thought the food was fine. The wait staff was attentive to us. We booked a reservation online and when we checked in we were told the room we had was taken by a Hilton Honors member and they were very sorry. Told me they had to wait until the manager got there at 8 am to make a decision on what they could do. We missed the opening of the park and welcome show at Magic Kingdom because of this. We stayed at the Doubletree Lake Buena Vista Suites for a short family vacation and couldn't have been happier with the staff and accommodations. We used the bus service to the Disney parks on the first day which was great getting to the park but, the trip home late in the evening was a bit long (too many stops at other parks & hotels). The staff where helpfully when we checked in, but the service seemed to go down hill from there. The mattress on the sleeper couch was worth out, the fridge did not work properly, the Roman was clean (but was more a half job than anything else, as you could see where this had not been cleaned properly, plug sockets where worn and did not hold the plug properly), and I can go on). Some Double Trees have "by the rules" staff... Not pleasant. Great room, comfortable bed and linens. Bathroom a bit small, especially when sharing with other people. The Doubletree is just a stone's throw from the park and a short shuttle ride to any of the Disney parks and attractions. The check-in was a bit lengthy but we did arrive at a fairly busy check-in time. The staff was awesome - everyone is so nice and helpful and friendly - it really was a magical experience. The only downfall is Downtown Disney construction was still ongoing and the traffic was crazy even though the shuttle travel distance was very close.

My family visits Disney every few years and we have stayed at official Disney resorts (Caribbean Beach and Wilderness Lodge Villas) as well as the Best Western across the street from the Disney DoubleTree, so this review is written mostly in comparison to other Disney hotels. The DT suites offer plenty of space for 1/4 of the cost you pay for a similar sized Disney Villa. When I have stayed in the Villas, I rarely if ever need the huge fridge or stove, anyway. Only two reasons I didn't leave an "Excellent" review for the Doubletree. First, they charge a fairly high daily parking rate. Wouldn't you let your guests park for free? Just because it's in the Disney area shouldn't mean you get hit on that too. You already pay to park at all the themes park. Secondly, the bill at check out was a little confusing so a very nice front desk person explained it to us.....then a day or so later, more charges appeared in our bank account and when we called, a diffe... Great kitchen place, but it missed knives, forks an dishes. The breakfast served by the hotel is ok, but it missed better selection of cheeses, hams and breads. Hotel ideally situated for Disney springs - a nice 5 minutes leisurely stroll away. Our suite was spacious but very dark due to the overgrown trees outside - they could definitely do with being cut back!! The bellman who greeted us came across rude when we first arrived and asked for a wheelchair. I had a sports injury just prior to coming on the trip and couldn't walk. I was very surprised the hotel didn't have a wheel chair to at least greet me with. I was thankful he later recommended renting a scooter, which turned out to be the perfect solution. First and foremost, the A/C works very well here. So many places fumble that basic issue. One note, the suite is a two room suite but the sensor is in the sleeping room (as it should be) but that means the living room, if it is on the exterior wall of the property, gets warm unless you let the sleeping room get really cold. The suites are decent sized. The bathroom was a little tight for two people. I noticed a fair bit of traffic noise from the interstate. If you keep the A/C running all the... Read more

Good - I like the fact that they are an all suite hotel. The room was decent and a very comfortable king size bed. The woman who checked me in was friendly and professional. Great cookies. Not so good - while many many hotels offer complimentary Wi-Fi, with a cost of over $100/night this one only offers it in the lobby. I looked for an ice machine on my floor but found out there's only 2 which I believe was floor 6 & 8. The cost of the breakfast is way too expensive.

Rooms are very comfortable for large or extended family vacations! Roll away bed is great for the Mother in law. Staff was excellent and very communicative. Leslie contacted us through out our stay to see how things were going.

First the good The room was clean, Teresita in the restaurant ensured I had a good gluten free breakfast daily. Busses run quite often to the parks, Disney Springs is a brisk 12-15 minute walk. Now the bad I booked through trip advisor, paid in full. Came into the lobby and was greeted, if you call it that by C. Davis, she seemed to be in a bad mood from the start. Well, I gave her my name, she bluntly said.... your reservation has been cancelled, WHAT?! I said that's not possible, I have i... Read more

At $155/night, this suite was half the price of a smaller room on Disney property. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and my daughter appreciated the privacy afforded by the sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area, with a door separating it from the bedroom/bath. Our room was very quiet (on the second floor, by the stairs). The staff was wonderful. Our last night, we dined in the Evergreen Room, and the chicken with chorizo I had was so delicious and beautiful that I actually took a pho... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting Disney for the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the suites and furnishing; being that it is an older hotel it has been renovated. The staff and housekeeping services were very friendly, informative and always smiled at us. The hotel was busy, but not overly noisy. Our room faced I-4, so there was road noise, which we heard even though we had our white noise fans. We plan to go back in the near future and will ask fo... Read more

This hotel was great for our short Disney trip. The bus service to the theme parks was fast and efficient. Front desk staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed. The room was large, well equipped and extremely clean. We will be back.

The location was absolutely perfect, was in town for a conference at convention center. Was excellent for get over to convention. Plus during free time was equally as easy to get to all the fun locations in town. Staff was great, room very clean. Only draw back was the exit and entrance gates at times the keys worked slowly. Would recommend and would stay again.

Just checked and had to wait for a valet. While waiting for valet verbally assaulted by another guest calling me all sorts of horrible things don't even feel safe here. I'd really like to leave disgusting never been treated like this at a Hilton property in my life. I am a Hilton honors gold member. Last time ever staying here.

The day shift desk staff were not up to my Hilton standards, they were not warm or personable. The PM staff was much better. Things seemed tense this visit. Room was good, Clean. Breakfast was good. Would have been 4+ if staff like previous stays. Great location, Clean.

We did not get two of two requested services ( extra towels requested in preregistration and plastic ware). No coffee available in the lobby all day. Don't promise anyone that they can watch a TV show while on vacation.

stayed here with my partner for our two week Orlando holiday. Its location is amazing just about a 15 minute walk to Disney Springs. The hotel Disney shuttles were great although they never ran on time but even so really great. The staff are amazing especially Lesley on the front desk !! I only have two criticism's no. 1 the hotel internet is very very slow No. 2 the suites could really do with a major update the lobby and public areas are beautiful its a shame the suites don't match

Ahhh, how often can you say you enjoyed a restful, luxurious stay when visiting Disney? We had a lovely stay at the Hilton Doubletree, minutes from Parks with convenient in site self parking, shuttles on the half hour to Disney parks, convenience store, restaurant, pool, terrific selection of rooms at a fabulous price, spotless accommodations, luxurious beds, bright clean bath, refrigerator and microwave, everything we needed.

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for nearly 10 years and every time, the experience is consistent and wonderful. For a family of 5, it is hard to find a suitable space to meet our needs. This hotel not only delivers, but the intimate personal nature makes it feel like home. I/we highly recommend!

We traveled to Orlando for Disney and Universal attractions with two teenagers. The size of the two room suite is suitable for a family of four. The location is in close proximity to the airport and all the attractions and walking distance to Disney Springs. The accomodations were a good value for a traveling family of four.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. I would probably give them a 3.5 if it was available. I really liked the pool area a lot! I did really like my room when I arrived but the air conditioning was broken in the room so it got progressively warmer until it was unbearable. When I went to the front desk they said they'd send someone up and an hour later nothing changed when I called again then no one came still for two more hours when I was checking out. I called the front desk with a... Read more

the cleaning products were very strong and I have severe allergies and they really bothered me. Room service sent up food that I specifically said I can't eat due to allergies. We had a very good event at this property and were pleased with that.

Suites are spacious, perfect for family of four. Everything was working and clean. Had a little issue with the toilet (leak), but it was fixed by the time we came back from the parks. Cookies are a huge plus!
