We stayed the first week of May. The room was nice. We had a pool view. It was a ways out from the main area with the restaurants but we got used to it. It didn't seem that far away after the first walk. The grounds were beautiful. We ate in the Pepper Market for breakfast and dinner. Both times were good and not that expensive as some people have mentioned. We had a drink at the pool bar as well as the one outside of the Pepper Market. The bartenders were very nice. This is my favorite Moderate Resort on Disney property! It gives you the feeling of being somewhere tropical, while still having all of the little touches you expect from a Disney resort. The pool here is the best pool at a moderate resort! But be prepared to walk, it is very spread out-which has it pros and cons. A pro is it gives you that real tropical resort feel, even in the middle of winter. The grounds are beautifully decorated! Cons- it can be a terribly long walk back from the magical ex... Read more

We stayed here for our family girls trip. I agree with the previous reviewers that it's a large resort. We stayed in Casitas 5. My sister wanted a room close to a Disney bus stop and away from the pool. Our room location was perfect for us. It was a very short walk to the bus stop. A very long walk to the main building, which was fine there was not much we wanted to do there anyway. But our stay was great. The room was clean and the perfect size for our party (3 adults 1 child). We were on the ... Read more

We were here as a large group for a conference. The hotel staff keep this place pristine and the layout is good for an event like ours. The pool is lovely with cocktails and great food available. Kids were enjoying the program of activities. I heard from folks that the rooms were OK, but not Disney's best, but be aware...this is a large property. It has several bus stops around it before getting to the main hub for transport to the parks and Disney Springs. The buses make it easy and cheap... Read more

Another great Disney experience. Multiple transportation hubs so the bus brings you really close to your room. The rooms have a unique touch as well. The pool here is awesome! There is also a bar that serves food there, and they offer games. The lobby to this place is incredible as well! Multiple eating locations on site. Clean and comfortable!

Just returned home from a lovely trip to Disney for the weekend. We stayed in Coronado Springs Business Class for the first time. We like Coronado anyway; the theming and the ambience suit is. But the Business Class experience...wow. The BC rooms are located in Cabanas 9B, which is right next to the main building. Worth it for location alone, as you're also right next to the main resort bus stop. Additionally, the rooms are upgraded with very plush mattresses and higher thread count sheets... Read more

We stayed for a week during Dance Worlds competition with hundreds of dancers and patents from around the world. The staff did an amazing job of wrangling the crowds and keeping everyone happy. It was incredibly helpful to be able to have three large event spaces on property and just walk to rooms and restaurants. The Pepper Market serves a range of foods, from burgers and chicken to pizza, sandwiches and Mexican. Not bad for a day or two but tough to get through after several days on property... Read more

I stayed here for a two night 3 day business trip. The hotel was beautiful, the grounds were nice, and the staff were very helpful. Finding your hotel room was somewhat confusing even with the map they provided. I was ID'd every time I got a drink (I'm 34) which was fine except for when I was at the pool and didn't have my ID on me (didn't think about bringing it, since I haven't been ID'd in years), so I wasn't served a drink. I have nothing bad to stay about this resort. The rooms were a good size, comfortable and clean. The cast members were friendly and fixed any problems quick. We stayed in the cabanas area which was in a great location, it was near the main lobby, the main pool and a bus stop. The resort is beautiful and quiet, it felt so relaxing (especially needed after a busy day at a theme park).

I booked through an independent travel agent so didn't choose coronado springs myself, so after booking and looking at the reviews I was a little nervous for our visit. This was our 2nd stay at this resort and we loved it just as much as the first visit. We had a corner room in Casitas 5. The bus stop was another 3-4 minute walk in the opposite direction. Buses can take you around the resort. Beautiful lake in the middle of this large and beautiful property. Main pool was amazing. Our family of 4 stayed in one of the cheaper rooms for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable and a good size. The rooms are showing some age, but we have no complaints over comfort and value for money. The resort is an incredibly huge complex, but there is a path that links all the buildings together via a very scenic walk around the lake. Our first time staying here and we loved it! Very secluded and romantic! The room was very nice and spacious. The service was Disney magical of course. Our room wasn't ready when we go there so we were able to check our luggage so it wouldn't have to sit in the car in Florida heat! After reading reviews on TripAdvisor the expectations were a little less than expected. However, this set a realistic experience. Most of the hotel does have the old Mexican/Mayan theme to it but I felt that a little refreshing or repainting could help.We stayed in the Ranchos section with 2 beds. It had all the normal Disney amenities such as the Magical Express bus transportation and Magic bands yet it has a much more subdued theme than other resorts. We opted to stay at a Disney Resort as we wished for the security of a Gated Resort. No luck here, as the gate remained up most of the time, since the wristbands were not working. My husband actually had to get out at one point to help someone two cars ahead work their wristband when the gate was down. The unguarded gates also allowed Sicilian Pizza to pound on our door before 8 on Monday morning, and stick a flyer through our door. (The do not disturb sign was on the door.) Older facilities,... We chose Coronado because our vacation was tacked onto a convention onsite. We stayed in the Casitas building block. It was a 5 minute walk to the main building but walkway was covered the entire way to shield from sun and rain. Some reviews have mentioned it didn't feel very "Disney"-- frankly, I liked a little break from the loud, colorful, in-your-face of the parks.
