"I was looking for a 'good deal' -- what I got was the worst hotel experience of my life! At the time I booked, the overall rating of this hotel was 'Good' (I see that it is now dropped to 'Fair')...I wasn't expecting a 5-star experience, but I was expecting clean and comfortable -- which the room was not! The sheets were dirty and smelled...the bathroom was moldy...the A/C didn't work. In addition, the front door wouldn't lock correctly so there was no way we were leaving our stuff there unattended. We booked 2 nights, didn't end up staying at all -- left and found another hotel. My husband is never going to let me live this one down..."

"Worst experience in a hotel I have ever had. the bathroom had bugs crawling on the floor, there were huge stains in the carpet, noise control needs too be fixed, the curtains are horrible I did not enjoy the fact that there was a full curtain that was see through and a half curtain that did not quite cover the rest of the window. others walking by could take a nice peek into our room quite easily. My assumption was that this was a family friendly hotel and the employees of the hotel were anything but that at check in. I did not appreciate being charged 10$ for 2 long distance calls when I read on a card in the hotel room that long distance calls were 1.00$. Do i recommend the Seralago to anyone? not at all Is it a hotel I plan on returning to? not at all. "

"The room and hotel are just like they look in the photos. It is dated and worn, but it was clean. We went to Disney, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. "First trip to Disney and accommodations were not what I was expecting. Would have gotten a better hotel if I had known. Smelled of room spray when I first entered. Found a dirty sock, don't think they cleaned it at all. Guest services were horrible as he didn't even know anything about Disney World events. Smelled of mildew and stuffiness of the beds were not the best or even close. I was promised shuttle service and there was a shuttle , but it went to a monorail instead of the actual parks. My mother and I were on a tight schedule. They told us that when it filled up, they didn't have another bus available and it would take a while to get there. Not please at all."

"If you are looking for a low cost sub standard place to stay this is it. We stayed Sunday to Friday..........The hottest water available in our room was luke warm. There was a mysterious big wet spot on our carpeting. The TV remote did not work and the bathroom smelled.
On the flip side, the transportation to the disney parks was adequate and the on site store was convenient.
I would pay a little more and stay somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"the room was musty smelling and very dated. The sheets did not stay on the bed as they dont use a bottom fitted sheet, so had to keep getting up and remaking the bed all night. The mattresses are old and the springs kept poking us, so sleep was pretty much non-existent..Maid service did not come to our room and freshen or straighten. We had to call for towels, a coffee pot, TP etc. they only supply 2 VERY flat pillows per bed and wouldnt give extras. The pluses, The staff was friendly, the location was convenient, and it was a great value. We had Deluxe pool side room 2nd floor, which didnt have a very good 'pool view' at all, and was noisy as the pool is open until midnight. If your looking for an inexpensive weekend getaway and dont care about 'comfort' then its ok, but next time, Ill pay a little more."

"Pet rooms are disgusting. Smell of urine. I don't feel like they clean between guests, other than change the sheets! Sheets are too small; use a flat sheet on the bottom that is too short for the bed. Beds are low to the ground and you sink in when sit down. Staff are all very friendly though."

"Seralago was one of the worst places I have ever stayed in Orlando. The rooms had a mold and milldew smell. The furniture was so old and dumpy and run down and the mattresses I don't think have been changed since they opened their doors. I did complain to management and they upgraded me to a poolside room which was a little better but charged me for it. I will never stay there again. The pictures on the internet make it look so glamourous but the place was a dump."

Booked: Deluxe Standard - Includes Breakfast for Two
1st room: stale & a bit like cigarettes. Called front desk & I assured that my room & connecting room was non-smoking. But the smell was getting worse, checked the connecting door (smelled around it) and the smell was pouring in! Called front desk again & advised as there was NO way my husband, kids or I would stay in that!! After checking and checking they found us another room. Packed everything up & moved.
2nd room: Smelled better. Good shower. However, microwave did not work. NO Wi-Fi!! Beds: super cheap mattress & springs broken-ish. Had to ask for extra towels 2 times before we got finally got them. Asked for 2 extra pillows & they said they didn't have any.
Breakfast included in room rate/was a difficult thing for front desk to understand! The room I booked was to include breakfast for two adults, but they insisted it was the "kids eat free with paying adults.... After speaking with them 3 times, they finally got it and I got a voucher for our breakfast.
Breakfast buffet: scrambled eggs/they are questionable as to what they really are. Surplus egg mix maybe?? Luckily you can order fried eggs, at least my husband & younger son could eat that. Server "Barb... was very pleasant.

"The first room I had was dirty and smelled really bad so I had to go to the front desk and request a new room. The second room was OK, but everytime we took a shower water poured all over the floor and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Our toilet barely flushed. NONE of the ice machines close to our room worked, we had to go to a whole different building. The 'hot tub' was only warm. I had to call the front desk to get info about the shuttles because when I checked in they were too busy to give me any info and I had to call 4 different times before i ever got an answer and then the staff was rude and rushed me. On day 3 I came back to my room after being at Disney World all day and my room keys would not work (niether of them), I went to the front desk and they 'tested' my keys and sent me back to my room. Again they didn't work. When I went BACK to the front desk they were rude about me requesting new keys but finally gave them too me. AGAIN, they didn't work. After yet another trip to the front desk it took them almost 30 min to get someone to open my room and when they finally did, room service had not even been to my room that day and so I had no clean linens or towels!! After an hour and a half my door was finally fixed and we were able to get clean linens and towels. After all of this there was not even an apology!!!!! The beds are NOT queen size beds as I was told and the mattressed have springs sticking in your back!! This was by far the WORST hotel I have ever been too and the staffs rudeness and unwillingness to help you was even worse!!! I can tell you that I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I would NEVER recommend it. If I had been able to find another hotel (because I tried) I wouldn't have stayed this time after seeing the place and dealing with the staff!!"

"I did not find the hotel easy to manuver around. after the first night we stayed while we were gone the staff reloacted our items to another room and left a note on the the door stating that the reason was for maintenice repairs. I then went to the office to find out why I was not notifed by phone that my things would be moved, the staff did not know why. I ask to speak to the manager because I wanted to know what the Mantince problem was. I asked what was that he said the house keeper had fond bedbugs so they moved us, and he would give me a refund for two nights. but in the the morning, in the new room I found the bathroom floor to be so dirty you cdould push the dirt accross the floor and my friend asked that someone would check the beds that nightand no one ever came. The next morning it took about three hours to get a refund. but the manager did accomendate me well offering a refund plus two free breakfast, pizza and Icecream plkus an upgraded kids suite which my duaghter loved. However next time I spen a little more to stay somewhere nicer."

"This hotel is not a luxury resort, but it is perfectly fine for the price. The pool area is nice. They have a hot tub & a kiddie pool. I recommend asking for a room in the main building so you don't have to trek across the parking lot to get to the pool, lobby, restaurant, etc. Regular rooms don't include coffee makers, but I asked for one at 11:30 at night - had it delivered within 10 minutes - no charge. Only negative was that my two girls had a few mysterious 'ant bites' on their hands. Bed bugs?? Can't say for sure and it only happened once in the five nights we stayed."

Everyone that we encountered at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful! I will give props to that. The few things that upset me most are: the horrid smell of the hotel room we stayed at plus the disgusting, un-vaccummed carpets and the nasty, uncomfortable beds."

"I don't know why this hotel has 3 stars. This hotel is very old and dirty. It is out of style and shape... Room come with refrigerator and microwave, but doesn't come with tooth brush nor something that hotel usually offers. This hotel is old motel, and in this area, better looking hotel has weekly rate of $170, so I think lower price can't be their excuse. I really want to know how bookit assign star rating to hotel. This hotel should receive 1.5 stars at the best. If you are looking for 3 star hotel like me, this isn't for you. If you are looking for cheap hotels, a lots of hotel in Kissimmee offer cheaper price as their regular price. I have 3 more nights to stay in this ancient motel."

"I was upset when I arrived as I was expecting a package to be delivered. They said it wasn't there. So I emailed the people that I was getting the ticket off and t they said it had been delivered and signed for on a specific date. The staff then said oh maybe I should check the mail room. Thankfully it was there as it was my disney ticket. I had been at the hotel then for 5 days when they asked if I had collected my package. There was also some issues with my door not locking. I think that there needs to be a better organisation and communication skills within the hotel and suites. Maybe it was just a bad time for them. But it did add some stress that I didn't want on my holiday"

"The pictures on the web compared to the actual hotel is very misleading. The room was not that big. I up graded to the kid suite and boy was I disappointed. Their room was so small. "Things got off to a rough start. I arrived at 2;30pm to find that the shuttle service had a very limited schedule which really stunk. They did have my Disney tickets there however the clerk was very rude when I questioned her about the shuttle service. We had to drive everyday because the shuttle also had limited seating with a first come first serve basis which left us having to pay 14.00 a day to park at Disney. When we arrived back at 11:30pm (they wouldn't let me have my room until after 4:00) they had given our 2 room suite away to somebody else. I had reserved the suite and paid for it on my credit card 3 weeks prior to my arrival date. Needless to say I was very upset. They worked for a few minutes and finally gave me 2 rooms side by side. I felt very bad for my guest that we took with us who had never been to Disney because he had to stay in the room alone. We were there for 4 nights. The pictures on the web page shows it looking much nicer than it really is. So I can definitely say I WILL NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"We liked the location because we visited Universal Studios for two days, and it's pretty close to that. I would not recommend this hotel because it is noisy, and there was no elevator for us to use to bring our luggage to the second floor. If there was an elevator, it was very far away from where we could park. Also, some strange man had access to our room (How did he get a key card?) and peaked in and then stared into our window through the curtain. He didn't apologize or say a word, but it was so scary. We couldn't find or catch him later. I think maybe he worked for the hotel. They should train their staff not to come in without knocking, and they should certainly not peak into rooms. We also had to wait a long time in line to check into the hotel. They need more staff at the front desk. There was only one person the whole time I was there. We checked out after one night because the Holiday Inn is a much better, cleaner place with better trained staff."

"it was a last minute easter weekend getaway. I planned it last minute so I did not expect teh beat of deals until I rain in to this deal. I was pretty excited to see a $60.00 deal wtih 2 drinks incuded at the bar. Soooooo... I booked it. I arrived adn began to wait in line to check in when i noticed their was already a guest making a complete fool of herself since the shuttle was not departing at the time she was ready to go. So I thought to myself 'you get what you pay.. cheap that is'. its a horrible thought process but its the truth and you will understand why. My room was 951. i was excited to have a room ready at 1pm when check in was 4pm. So i convinced my mother to go to the room first to drop off all of our bags that way we had more room for more bags since we planned to go shopping. Walked int he room and noticed a must old smell. it was a lil bad so i propped the door open with a chair and decided to blast the AC (window unit) in order to get some of the smell away. I noticed it would not work so i had seen the housekeeping cart right next door and asked for assitance from the hosuekeeper and she came by to assist me with the AC. I felt really dumb shen she said it was not connected but when we did just that it still did not work. She called the maintenance dept and asked for assistance. The mainteneace gentleman was at my room within a few minutes and began to work on it right away. he got it to turn on and I asked for him to just set it as low cool since my mother is always cold. it was a nice warm day in Florida so my mom agreed it would be a perfect spot to leave the AC at. We departed and came back to the hotel and noticed about 10 young youg kids outside of the rooms near ours. They all were ju8st hanging out texting and calling people and being a little loud. One of them even rolled his eyes when I wanted the parking spot right in front of my room... who doesn't right? well... obviously he was nto happy about it. oh well.. move it! Again another reason you get what you pay. We walked in and the room was very hot. the air never cooled the room one bit. It literally blew hot air from the outside in. That it is all it really did. I moved the dial around thinking that maybe the setting is off but we got no cool air. We wer tired so the last thing i cared to worry about is move to another room. So we toughed it out and literally slept with no sheets on us. The next morning we woke up to a nice busy area around our roo. their was two cop cars and lots of CRIME SCENE tape around two guest rooms about 4 rooms down. Really? really... are you kidding me... then a helicopter flew over our facility and I noticed it was the local news .. ohh yes.. this is it.. this is teh best example of a great dissapointment. I informed the front desk that i was not satisfied and never did they offer to have me speak with a manager. They just asked for the next eprson in line to come up. It was awful and not worth my life to ever stay their again."

"This hotel is NOT like the pictures online. The entire hotel is old and in great need of repair. The rooms are old. The problems began as soon as we got there. The beds didn't have a bottom sheet on them which is just gross. Who wants to sleep directly on a nastly mattress? They gave us 2 lumpy pillows per bed (instead of the usual 4). The mattress was awful. I woke up every morning with a hurting back. The air conditioner in the room ran very noisy and the maid kept turning it down to 60 degrees so it was freezing when we returned from the pool. The bathroom faucet was backwards. Hot was on the right and cold on the left. There were 2 sinks - one outside of the bathroom and one inside of the bathroom which may sound good, except the bathroom was so tiny you couldn't walk in and close the door. The shower was tiny. I'm 5 feet 4 inches and had a hard time taking a shower because it was so small. The towels they provide felt more like sandpaper than a bath towel and with 4 people staying in our room we needed more than two towels per day. On our second day our room door wouldn't lock and we had to call the office. They had to replace the battery in our door key lock so we could leave to go the theme park for the day. DO NOT EAT THE BREAKFAST BUFFET!! It was disgusting. The bacon tasted like rubber and they charged us 2.99 for a glass of orange juice. Their selling point is buy an adult buffet and children eat free - well it isn't worth it. Go next door to the Burger King before you eat here. Overall, the hotel was terrible and I will NEVER stay there again. There are many more things I could say about the hotel (pool = party scene w/lots of drinking and no security, hotel staff = not friendly, etc.) There are many places to stay in Orlando. Save yourself some time and aggravation. Stay at one of the many other nice hotels in Orlando so you and your family can enjoy your vacation."

"At first impression looks quite nice, but the room had a distinct old musty smell and the bathroom was terrible.(oh and the bathroom door was hanging off the top hinge, so we couldn't close it properly) Overall noisy, the bed was ok-ish, but the pillows were terrible and it took a long time for my kids and us to settle to sleep. Noisiest A/C I've ever heard. The staff were actually friendly and the one saving grace for us was the bus transfer to he Disney parks, saved a lot of hassle and time. If you need a last minute one night stop and don't really care then it'll do, but wouldn't recommend a longer stay!"

"My booking was for 2 rooms suite (sleep 8). When we got there and check-in, walked into the room, and there was only 1 bed room. I asked the Customer Service, they explained: '2 bed rooms suite' is really only 1 true bed room, the other bed room is actually the Living room that has hidden bed in the wall...!! There is kitchen, but there is nothing that you can feel like family. We have been many Vacation resort in Orlando with 2 bed rooms suite, there are all REAL 2 Bed rooms, and the Functioning Kitchen..!! This is one the worse ever seen.... Please don't plan family vacation here with kids."

"We were in Orlando to watch our granddaughters play field hockey. This hotel was close to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Comples and was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were great. The breakfast buffet was super. It had everything on it that you could want. They even gave us large coffees-to-go at no extra charge. "First of all, it is called Seralgao Hotel and Suites, so that being said, you expect for your room to be inside the hotel. Not here, here you check in at the lobby and then they tell you your room is across the parking lot, like a motel.BIG DIFFERENCE. The room had a funky moldy odor. The wood of the bathroom door was starting to come off, there was a bug that had been killed in the crease of the door that was still there for our entire stay. I did see two other living bugs in our room that I did kill myself. Housekeeping gave us sheets with stains on them. There were times our houskeeper only gave us one towel when it was obvious there were 3 of us there. We had a 2 lights in our room that did not work. There were some other unsavory people in our area as well that we were not comfortable around seeing that we had our 11 year old daughter with us. As if none this was bad enough, we had to plan our trips to Disney around the only 3 times the shuttle left from our hotel. Then we actually got left at the park by our shuttle. We were 1 minute late and the driver saw us in the parking lot and instead of stopping for us, he waved his hand and left. We were right there, He didn't have to wait for us. We just missed the line of people and he could have cared less and just left us. It was the worst experience ever. There is absolutely no way I would ever recommend this place to anyone! "

"Hotel looks good at first then once we saw the rooms we were not impressed. The room was musty and the bed was so uncomfortable my husband requested a new room or money back. The manager had a new mattress sent for the bed. It was better but still uncomfortable. We woke up every morning stiff and tired. But manager was quick to send another one at least. Everything was outdated but ok for the price. Pool was great. Breakfast was horrible and should be included with hotel stay. It made me sick and throw up. Gravy was worst gravy i ever tasted and we waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to bring us a drink. The hostess was very rude also. You could tell she did not want to be there. Waitress was nice just slow. Price was WAY too high! Also do not fall for the guy selling disney tickets in lobby. We had to go to a timeshare thing that was supposed to be 2 hrs but took 4 hrs and was promised awesome food and it was nasty. They give you a special menu with a few items to choose from and cant order anything off regular menu. We wasted all day doing that and my husband pointed out many flaws with the building structure at the vacation village. Also we didnt really save anything off our tickets. "enjoyed myself very much--only problem closing the store inside the hotel when it was very hot--no refreshments available and no notification--even the outside bar didnt open at poolside. otherwise the hotel was nice and clean staff was great--check in was a breeze, and they let us check in early and check out late. definately would stay there again. thank you"

"We only stayed one night, and although it looked clean enough, it is terribly outdated with very worn furniture. The rooms definatlly had been smoked in, and yes it is very old. The outside had lots of cigarette butts around. The staff was great and the beds adequate for one night, but I would book somewhere else next time."

"The rooms had a moldy stagnent oder. We had to change upon arrival to 3 different rooms. Finaly we just said enough. The ac was blowing on my back and got me sick. The rooms are run down. the beds only had flat sheets and kept coming off the bed. The TV had a mind of its own with coming on and off as it pleased. The bathroom and sink floors looked like they were 40 years old and very disgusting.

"I regret that I didn't spend twice as much or more for a better hotel. The room(actually, the entire hotel) was in a poor state of repair. The pool and hot tub was ok. Our a/c unit leaked onto the carpet. The room was ridden with roaches. The mattress was totally worn out(both beds). I had to have house keeping fix the shower drain. The carpet was worn and stained. The food court was nothing to write home about. I usually do not complain about much but this place was ridiculous. It caused a lot of tension between my girlfriend and myself. I was trying to be nice and book a nice vacation for us. She was grossed out by the roaches. Thought I was being cheap. Upon returning home we found several things missing from our belongings. We noticed them missing before leaving to come home but thought maybe they would turn up later when we went through our luggage.
1) a hair brush(really?)
2) a bottle of pain pills(percocet) for my back
3)a bottle of hormone pill (again, really?)
4)a phone charger
They were not left behind because we went through the room with a fine tooth comb. This stuff was stolen. By the cleaning staff. If the roach infestation wasn't bad enough."

"I chose this hotel because I was traveling with my son and my female cousin. I wanted them to have their own TV. The hotel is nice with the bunk beds and separate TV for the children, and a king size bed for the adults. The hotel also has a game room in the lobby, a playground, and pools. This hotel offers free shuttle service to Disney and Universal Studios which is also a plus. The only complaint I have is the restaurant, it is not good at all, the buffet was $6.99 per person not including a drink. The apple juice was $2.99 per glass, and the waitress added gratuity to your check regardless of the number of people in your party. I would recommend the Hotel but NOT the restaurant."

"Overall this place is great for the money, about $45 a nite at some times of the year. The place is very clean, no complaints there. Very friendly at the desk. Things are always in the room, enough towels, some shampoo and soap for everyone. Also, a blow dryer in the room! Of course the decor is basic and maybe the showerhead doesn't have the strongest water pressure - but for $45 a nite I can't complain! Overall, when I hop up to Orlando to stay a nite and not spend all the time at the hotel, its a great choice!! Clean and everything you need."

"Everyone at the Seralago Hotel was friendly. All the staff members greeted you as they passed you even if they were busy. They did everything they could to make my stay pleasant. The last day I was there the young lady at the desk went on line and got my boarding passes for Southwest Airlines while I enjoyed Walt Disney World. When a hotel staff goes out of there way like that it makes the trip more relaxing
An other thing that was a pleasant surprise I got when I got there, I arrived on a Monday, was that every Monday they have a closeup magic show. I enjoy magic and for a charge of only $10 it was well worth the time. You do need to get reservations for the show as it is closeup magic in a small room and a very popular show. A lot of magicians from the area come to see the show.
They also have a shuttle to Disney World and it was on time every time I used it"

"My wife and I stayed at the Seralago in a Deluxe Standard from June 16-19 which we had booked last minute thru Bookit.com at an extremely affordable rate. We iced the cake with a coupon code saving an extra $10. Our stay was great thanks to the courtesy shuttle provided which got us to and from Magic Kingdom on our first day there. Our second day we took the courtesy shuttle to Universal Studios. PRO's: Shuttle service is free, times of drop off are reasonable for Magic Kingdom, Cleaning service are prompt to requests, front desk was polite and welcoming (even at midnight), microwave and mini fridge (mmmm leftovers) and the property is very accessible (right at intersection) CON's: Shuttle times to/from Universal kinda rob you of 3-4 hours of potential fun, the beds and linens are very low end and somewhat uncomfortable OVERALL: Despite the quality of bed and linens we were satisfied with the affordability and the courtesy shuttles. Considering, we only needed a place to sleep since all day would be theme-park-hopping we were content and we can not comment on other amenities. FYI Dont be late to the Shuttle they go by a zero-tolerance policy we saw a couple running to the bus be left behind :( . Next trip will be with the kids and staying at the Seralago. "
