Magical Memories appeals to all families and groups by providing guests with the choice of different levels of luxuriousness in comfortable and spacious villas. Each villa offers a master bedroom with a private master bathroom and queen-sized bed with Cable TV in both the master bedroom and living room area. These villas also come with a fully-equipped kitchen with nearly everything you need to prepare and cook your family`s meals. An in-unit washer and dryer and a pullout sofa bed in the living room are just two more of the many comforts of home you`ll find at Magical Memories Villas.
Magical Memories Villas is pleased to announce the creation of a new centrally located Guest Services Center. This center is manned by trained services staff and offers a range of services, including vacation planning from the Concierge Team and Orlando tickets for all guests. "ve 2 at once apparently) get new key etc..... Unbeliveable!!!!!!! it was so awful. First unit we were sent to, I'm sure was section 8 housing. It was old, nasty, dirty and not safe at all. 3 windows would not lock and they appeared to have been broken into. My feet stuck to the kitchen floor. I could go on and on about that unit. If Icould I would up load the pic's. Went to the office to complain(they would not answer phone) and was told, 'Nothing else available' repeatedly. Ask for a manager, showed pic's and low and behold he found another unit in a 'safe' area. It was definately a better area but still old and well used. After unpacking, got a call from office, (oh the phone does work) they said the manager had made a mistake, the owner of that unit was coming in the next day and they had to move me. I said no thanks. On the way to Disney got a call from manager threatening. Had to go back, repack, load car, drive to office, turn in key(can't hao back at least to 2011. Oh, did I mention roaches?"

"I would never book this condo again. Room was old and smelled like dirty socks. The beds were like sleeping on straw mattresses. No coffee, not enough towels for a 3 bedroom condo, had to pay $90 cleaning fee on top of the weekend rental. Very old and noisy unit. It was also not a convenient check-in. We had to go to another location and wait in lengthy line to check in to be sent to another location for the actual unit. Hard to sleep thru the night with all the motorcyles and vehicles pulling in and out at all hours next to your window. Would not stay here again!"

"The 'Villa' is NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. You check into this office then drive to another location for your 'Villa' which is their nice word for apartment with nasty dirty hallways, police sirens at night, little to no linens or towels etc. Our apartment looked like it was from 1980 Mattress creaked and are equally as old. Water pressure in this apartment building was terrible as the water dribbled out of the 2 shower heads in each bathroom. I would not stay here OR recommend this place to anyone. We needed a 2 bedroom for us and our kids but never again."

"Upon arrival at the office, all went well, except that we were given someone elses reservation and had to return to the office. It was corrected a we headed to our condo in a nice gated community. However, we were not given a code to open the gate--finally taken care of. At the condo we couldn't connect to the wireless, had a problem with the air-conditioning. Called the office and a service man was immediately sent. He corrected wireless, fixed (as best he could) the sliding door and adjusted the air. He was nice, friendly and helpful.
We all found the upstairs overly warm, downstairs extremely cold. I, a New Englander, liked the cold downstairs and ended up sleeping on the couch instead of my very hot bedroom. The rest of the family made it through upstairs. In fact, they found downstairs too cold--they all spent their at home time upstairs. We were there for a soccer tournament and were in the condo very little.We slept and ate breakfast and a few dinners there. The coffeepot didn't work, and I sure needed that to start my day at 6 am. I was told one would be delivered even though we were gone all day--someone would bring one. We never got one at all. Also, the house phone stopped working after the first day.
Yes, I would go back again, maybe even for the next tournament. However, I would be insistant on having problems taken care of to my satisfaction at the very start, bring my own coffee pot and hopefully be able to use my bedroom.
It was a very nice community, convenient for our soccer fields"

"Complex was fine. Close to Disney. However, the exterior of the unit, and interior of the unit were just filthy. We were told to wait until 4:00 p.m. because they were cleaning the unit (we had arrived early). To get in to the unit to grey/white dingy towels, dirty floor (with bugs). Tried to start cooking only to find corn and a knife at bottom of the dishwasher, and the cutting board dirty, with gunk stuck on it. I poured a soda into a glass to find it with prints and grease. Wound up having to clean the kitchen, all the utensils, plates and glasses prior to use. the A/C area was all black and dusty. The beds were not comforatble and really the bathrooms were not clean (floor area). The unit could be pretty enough if maintained. New tv, with amenities, etc., but could not get over the feeling of dirt."

"As we walked in, the villa ( apartment) had a terrible smell. It smelled old and musty. The surrounding area was not appealing at all. We were not made aware that each unit was privately owned; leaving you atbthe mercy of the owners. Many of the appliances and furniture was old and antiquated The sofa bed was unusable, there was no wifi and there was mold around the bathroom windows. I will never go back to this place."

"Never will I suggest this company. Our box spring was broken on the bed and the dishwasher sent water all over the kitchen and all I got was ' Be lucky we upgraded you to a 3 bdr condo. Who cares when you don't and didn't need one. I just wanted a bed to sleep in and have fun. Condo was not clean but the compound was very nicely kept. Carpet is torn and soiled, vacuming was bad, patio door was discustingly dirty, hair from previous renters still in bathroom, dishwasher was broken, and the beds were horrible to sleep in. Someone needs to invest money in this place. said there would be a king bed and there was not. Make sure to specifiy this in your description. I missed that part."

"Our vacation was overall a very enjoyable experience, but I would not recommend this property to a friend or family member. There were a few minor issues such as the first bedroom smelling like cat litter, the internet connection that didn't work and the roach that greeted us in the bathroom. The larger issue was that our oven and front burners were not working. The whole purpose in getting a villa with a kitchen was so that we could cook in the room and save a little money. We only found out that it was broken after having started breakfast... which was obviously not finished because of the non-working stove. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they said they would send someone out to fix it... That never happened! The staff was less than helpful and seemed to careless about customer satisfaction and more about the deposits being paid. Like the saying goes, ' you get what you pay for'. We will splurge next time to avoid having this experience again."

"The trip to orlando was very nice. That was my first time staying here. The villa was super clean and very comfortable. The office was about a mile away from the actual villa but wasnt a problem at all. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook breakfast in the mornings except the food of course. The only negative thing I would say about the villa is there really should have been a tv in every room and the furniture need a little upgrade., including the mattress that was in the master bedroom., Other than that I would recommend."

"We had one of the bes condos this time that we ever had! We asked for 1st floor and close tothe pool and we were placed in a wonderfull 3 bedroom condo and one of the bedroom doors went straight to the pool. "Villa was better than expected. king size bed in Master a pleasant surprise! All was great until last night. Absolutly no water pressure at condo when returned from a long day exploring. Contacted staff and was told that lack of water pressure was not an emergency and could wait till morning. Morning came and barely enough water to brush teeth let alone showers! Hickups happen and would have been a little more understanding if staff would have atleast tried to do something, maybe offered a different condo."

"First let me start off the I was unaware that this resort does not accept American Express for the deposit so I was left with having the leave a 250.00 deposit on my debit card.. Room carpet looked clean but the bedroom comforters were dirty and worn out...missing face plate on the wall socket in the bedroom. few holes in the ceiling. moldy bathroom floor liner in both bathrooms. squeaky beds in all the rooms. sofa bed was 1' thick mattress..few ants crawling on the couch. cats meowing early morning.. upon checkout .had to wait to have housekeeping come before they would release my cash deposit back to me...no blow dryer or iron in the room but you could request an iron at front desk which I did and must return it at the end of the stay....pools area was nice but sirens all hours of the day and night from both police and fire...would never go back or recommend this resort to anyone..."

"The villas were not the same villas displayed on line...the linen was faded, there were broken, blinds, tile and mold in the bathrooms. The tubs and showers were not the cleanest. It wasn't what I expected from looking at the pictures online. It was just very outdated and unkept. I did feel quite deceived by the visual and written descriptions. "My family traveled from Pensacola, FL to Orlando, FL for our Spring Break. We reserved a condo for 5 nights. This was our first condo rental experience as we normally rent hotel rooms but wanted more room and the convenience of being able to cook/eat in rather than eating out the whole vacation. We arrived after hours and retrieved our keys and directions to the rental out of the lockbox as instructed. I will say the directions given were clear to understand and easy to follow. Upon arrival at the condo the first thing we noticed were several large dark stains on the tan carpet in the dining area. It appeared that someone had tried to clean them but they were still very visible. We took photos and planned to let the rental agent know in the morning that we did not cause these stains. We proceeded to unpack and there was a long runner type throw rug in front of the master bedroom closet door that blocked the door from opening completely. I picked up the rug to move it out of the way and was dismayed to find several more dark stains that ran the length of the runner (maybe 5 feet long) on the main rug. The runner had been put there to try to cover up the stains. These stains on the rug gave our whole party the feeling that the place was dirty. We went to check in when the office opened the next day and the lady in the office asked if we'd like the rugs to be cleaned while we were out that day but said that the stains might not come up but at least we'd know the floor was clean. When we returned to the condo that night, it was obvious that the carpet had been cleaned but it seemed the stains were even darker than they'd been when we'd left that morning. There was no follow up on the part of the property to see if the stains had come up or if we were satisfied with their effort. We were on vacation and didn't want to spend our whole vacation dealing with this issue. Also, there was a box sticking out from under the edge of the bed in the master bedroom for a portable male urinal. In addition, we were not told in advance that you could not turn the AC temperature down in the condo less than 75 degrees. Since this was our first rental experience, it didn't occur to us to ask that question and nothing in their pre-check in info offered the information. There were no ceiling fans and we were on the first floor so were unable to open the windows at night for air and none of us slept well as it was hot and stuffy. I may be a little unfair in my rating of this experience as we may have been moved to a different room had we complained more about the stains on the carpet (which honestly appeared to be either blood or feces that had been left to set into the carpet.. I have photos I'd gladly e-mail to understand the magnitude of these stains) but we didn't want to spend our whole vacation working to get satisfaction. They knew there was a problem and didn't make it right. The stains on the carpets just gave the whole place an overall dirty feel and we never did cook or eat in the whole time we were there. I'm sure many have had a much better experience with this company but I will never use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone else."

"This property was not at all what I anticipated by the photos that are posted on line. The Magical Memories Villas does not clearly advise its guests when booking accommodations that there is a cleaning fee involved with their stay. In my case it was $90.00 that was shuffled into the paperwork and then presented to me on my departure. At that time it was not identified as a cleaning fee. This practice is dodgy and travelers considering staying at this property need to be aware of this prior to booking their stay. The property I stayed in was dated and very poorly furnished. Not at all what is presented in photos."

"We booked our rooms, we paid for it in advance (including fees, tax, etc). The scam is when you show up, they charge you additional fees. We got hit with a $74 cleaning fee when we checked in. When we pointed out that we prepaid for all taxes, and fees, they simply said it's their policy regardless of what of our confirmation contract states. Since this is not a Hotel, and they don't care for customer satisfaction, and they made no effort to resolve this issue. The kicker is, we did not see a single cleaning staff through out our stay. We made our beds, clean our dishes, etc.
Other Fees include: if you don't register, there's a $100. fee. If you check out after 10 am there's a fee. If they feel that your room smells of smoke there's $350 fee. So PLEASE READ THE FINE LINE. This is totally a buyer beware situation."

"Was there last week stayed through property managed by Magical Memories. This is our second time
Stayed at lake Berkley nice condo. Beautiful pool. Stove burner didn't work but rest did. When checked in asked to pay a cleaning fee web site had six night or longer there was no fee. Get a refund I have not gotten it yet but the recording says that it can take fifteen days or up to a month. Great value will probably use again next year."

"the villa is not like what's in the pics at the web site, our vacation was ruined for the last place we stayed at these magical memories villas,away from all places we want to go. stores, disney,malls, good food,restaurant,no transportation or shuttle going out of the villa, far from the club house pool.far from everything.
the beds are uncomfortable ,old beddings, very rough,the thread counts is very low.
we found a cockroach flying around my kids were so scared, I had to find and catch it.
I will not stay or recommend to a friend anymore."

"This is my families third time in 2 years visiting Disney World. All three times were wonderful. the first time, we stayed on grounds, the second time we stayed in another condo,and this time we stayed in a Magical Memories three bedroom house. Although we went in Febuary, the kids were able to enjoy the private pool in the back yard. It was so nice to be able to wash clothes, and cook breakfast and dinner if you wanted too. That saved a lot of money in its self, but the price was really a deal. We are looking to take another trip to Disney in early 2013... Can't wait, and we will definetly look into staying at Magic Memories again. Everything was nice and tidy,the house was beautiful, the only two issues we had were the first night our dryer wasn't heating, so we called the office to let them know. They had someone out bright and early the next morning, and fixed it quickly. Things happen, and we were happy with their response time...The other issue was there was a sofa bed, but it was full of pee stains. We didn't report that, because we did have enough sleeping area with the three rooms, but my 9 year old had to sleep with us, although their was plenty of room, we plained for the two 9 year olds to sleep on the sofa bed."

"First of all let me say there was nothing magical about the house(s) we stayed at. When we booked this place we thought we were in the Resort...that is all we read about...did not know our house would be in a sub division that alot of houses were forclosed on...yards not kept up...we were told upon checking in that we had a resort pool. The pool was just an association pool that had no lounge chairs and the water was dirty. The first house assigned to us was terrible to say the least! I put a sheet down on the couch before I would let my kids sit on it...disgusting! We asked for a different house and thankfully it was better,but it was just around the corner in the same run down neighborhood....locked our doors the minute we walked in. They told us everything else was full and we were left hanging. We felt mislead. We will never use We will never attempt to stay with them again!!!! It was not worth the money we paid. Do not be fooled."

"The staff was very professional and courteous. The villa was very nice and clean. The only negative was the surrounding area had a lot of Police activity and the dumpsters were over flowing."

"We enjoyed staying at Magical Memories. The condo was great. We enjoyed the privacy. Having a full kitchen and laundry was also great. Saved time and money on eating out. The only problem would be the people upstairs. I don't think they slept the whole week. But other than that it was a great experience and we will stay with them again."

"The Villas of Sommerset. Good value for the price. The place is a little worn and the cooking supplies similar to camping. But it was roomy and having a washer and dryer in the unit is great. The internet needed re-accessing about every 15 minutes ( putting the code back in) and there is a three dollar charge to print anything. Still being able to cook and reheat saves some cash. The pool and hot tub was nice to have. So bring your own coffee and a scrubbing sponge, Grocery store is not far nor are the attractions."

"We reserved a 2 bedroom condo and recieved a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom. The condo was clean and roomy. We were very close to all of the attractions. We loved waking up to the little ducks out back..the kids liked to feed them! Only downside was the icemaker didn't work so we had to go and buy some. Also don't leave ANY food out, the ants are terrible. Great stay overall!"

"We just returned from our trip (Sept 29th-Oct 4th) and had a great time. Magical Memories actually upgraded us to a 3 bedroom villa when we booked a 2 bedroom! Even though we didn't spend a lot of time at the villa, it was helpful because we had everything we needed (full kitchen and washer/dryer). The drive was about 5-10 minutes to Walmart for things we needed (sponge, dish washing detergent, shampoo, etc) and 20 minutes to Disney World.
One negative thing was that the pillows did not seem clean or fresh. They smelled like it was not washed so I ended up not using it the first night and washing the pillow case the next morning. Another thing is that we heard firetrucks going off several times a night. It made me wonder if we were near a fire station.
Overall, it was a great stay! We would definitely go back and recommend them to others! "

"We stayed at the Royal Palm Bay in a 3 bedroom villa, it was clean but dated. I'd say the units are about 30 years old. Furniture in good shape, the kitchen had all original appliances. The fridge had a ice maker but it made awful noises while trying to make ice. The kitchens are stocked with the items you need. There was a pool and hot tub but only available to use up until dusk. If you're looking for a spacious unit that is clean this place is fine, but not in anyway upscale. All of magical memories properties seem to be dated, they are all about 10-15 mins from the parks. "

"The location of the unit was perfect. Central to both Disney and Sea World as well as shopping, restaurants of all variety, and other attractions. However, the villa, though roomy and very clean with a responsive staff, was shabby. The matresses were like sleeping on boards and not a good way to start long days in the parks. The washer didn't function properly, the wireless internet connection was not usable, and the stall shower in the master bath had cracked and broken tiles (I would not use it so we all had to share one bath.) Would we stay there again - NO."

"Overall, the value of the property for which we paid was great. We reserved a 3-bedroom, 2-bath 'villa' (aka condo) which was located in the Royal Oaks property. It was conveniently located to the check-in center, Disneyworld and many restaurants and stores. Although we requested that 2 of the 3 rooms have queen beds, one of them had 2 twin beds. It was a spacious condo with lots of room for the kids (2 and 5 yrs old) to play. The only issue we had was one of the frying pans was still soiled and the back up bed sheets (2) were dirty. If/when we return to the Orlando area, we will likely make reservations with Magical Memories again."

"I stayed at the Runaway Bay Resort and it was everything that i expected and more. I reserved a 3 bedroom villa and each room had a tv and double beds. The only problem was the comforter in the master was soiled but that was taken care of the next day. We really enjoyed the unit and will definitely use Magical Memories again. We were close to everything from shopping, dining and the parks. We did spend one day in Daytona Beach and the weather was just perfect despite it being the rainy season. "

"Wow! What a beautiful place! We stayed in a 4 bedroom villa (condo) in the Emerald Island Resort. It was absolutely wonderful! Large (two-story), clean, well appointed, quiet and exactly as pictured on the website. The beds were very comfortable. The registration staff was friendly and helpful. When we called a few days prior to our visit to confirm the details of our accommodations, the person we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The pool at the club house was clean, warm and inviting. The exercise room was great! The condo had everything we needed (if you need an iron, ask at check in and they will loan you one for free.) Remember to bring a blow dryer and shampoo & conditioner. We will definitely stay here again!"
