LOCATION:
Liki Tiki Village Resort is a gated water resort located on 64-acres of a lush tropical splendor. This resort is centrally located in the heart of all the excitement of Orlando and is just 10 minutes from the entrance to the Walt Disney World Resort. Only minutes from several other attractions such as SeaWorld and Universal Orlando, guests are in the perfect location for non-stop fun!
SERVICES AND AMENITIES:
With all of the services and amenities for guests to indulge in, they may not want to leave the resort. The Liki Tiki Lagoon Water Adventure is an on-site 1.5 acre water park. Here, guests can relax in the 220,000 gallon simulated wave pool, bounce around to any of the five different waterslides, and dodge water from the erupting volcano. There are also interactive spray jets, spouting Tiki heads, and dancing fountains. Guests will also want to check out The Harbor at Liki Tiki Lagoon. Here, guests may grab some bamboo fishing poles and fish in the fresh water lake, play a few rounds of mini-golf, and let the children play in the children`s play area. "I had requested a roll in shower hadicap room and it did not happen, not because they did not have it avalible, but because the at the check in desk people were not informed that they had those rooms and where they were! ( we found out after check out)
My stay was poor when I think about my limitations I could not shower alone! Had to ask for help, even known that I had people that loved me there it does not feel good.... people are on vocation not n call, other than that I loved the place, the resort is nice and has a lot to do.
Maintance was on set which made me feel better because they tried to help with th restroom situation ( they got me a chair to shower but there were no bars and a big step to get to it). The sad part was that when we check out we had to go back to the room and the person that met us there advised us that there are fully ADA rooms! what a chock..... after staying there for 3 nights at a nice place I just thought it could had been perfect if was not for that."

"This place was great. The room was even better then we thought. The second room had 2 double beds instead of twins, which meant no one had to sleep on the pull out couch. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The master suite was big and had a huge tub the kids loved. The water area to great if your kids are younger (I would say under 10). We had a hard time getting them to leave. I would definitely recommend this place and I myself will go again."

"My family and I travel to Orlando every odd number year and we have always stayed in different places around Orlando. We are always looking for the best resort that offers on-site family activities because we choose not to spend all of our time at the theme parks. Well, I think we have found our vacation spot. Even though Liki Tiki is an older complex, the staff was very courteous, the grounds were immaculate and we enjoyed the atmosphere and activities offered. We will definitely return!"

"Firstly, the wifi problems of last year have been GREATLY improved! Strong, reliable wifi throughout resort. Pools and water park were outstanding, with the one problem of towels 'saving' lounges for people who weren't anywhere around for hours. Accommodations were very clean (other than stain on one set of sheets) and well stocked. Smoke alarms were all out of date - WAY out of date!! Toaster didn't work. Other than these complaints, Liki Tiki continued to promise and achieve being able to provide a great vacation for our family."

"I recommend this place to everyone I meet! We've been to Disney and stayed at a whole bunch of different resorts including value and moderate disney resorts. This by far exceedsall of them. First of all having a kitchen and washing machine in your condo is an amazing feature when you are gone for two weeks. The price was unbelievable for what you get at this resort. The pool has a wading feature perfect for small kids or weaker swimmers plus the water park. So close to disney, it gave us the chance to come back and relax, or head out to a restaurant. Close to all different shopping! I just felt the value was tremendous and have nothing but good things to say. We stayed in a one bedroom, with the kids on a pullout couch (small kids prefer to be next to each other). It was spacious, and gave us a bit of privacy as well. Loved it and cannot wait to go back!"

"We got such a great deal on a price for a one bedroom unit, we were a little skeptical. We thought we'd have to do a 'time share' promotion. But we were so very happy with the room and their service and the whole place! They did ask us to attend a sales presentation, but we declined and there was absolutely no pressure. And the amenities were fabulous! This was our first childless vacation in 30 years, but it would be even more exciting to be there with kids. The water park & pools were gorgeous. Paddle boating, bikes and loads of children's activities. And Disney parks are only minutes away. Probably our only complaint would be the shampoo provided, as we forgot ours. We couldn't get the one tv on, and maintenance was there in about 15 minutes - on a Saturday! Loved, loved our vacation there!!"

"I have read lots of reviews both good and bad before I've booked this resort. It turned out to be the most comfortable and enjoyable resort for our family. The room is very spacious and cleans. The service is the best too. We found the blender in our room was not working, but one phone call, within a minutes, a brand new blender was sent to our room. Our children loves staying in this place. I will definitely recommend this resorts to many of my friends who plans to visit Orlando. "Searched long and hard for something that would allow me to relax and provide the fun that is expected by any child when visiting Orlando. Liki Tiki did not disappoint. The front desk staff was so professional and courteous. The young lady who checked me in gave us a room overlooking the waterpark. Now this was huge for my girls. There was so much to do right there on site. With a full kitchen, my girls and I prepared our own meals. We rode on the paddle boats. We played Bingo down by the pool every day for a little competition. Things went so well, I extended our stay for another day. It was really hard to leave this morning. Thanks so much for providing such a family-oriented resort."

"We spent the weekend at Liki Tiki and were so impressed by the beautiful condo that we rented for the weekend. We had a two bedroom condo with a screen porch and large kitchen. The place was tastefully decorated and appointed. Plenty of pillows, towels, and supplies. We needed coffee filters on the fist day there and they were brought to our condo in minutes. We highly recommend and would visit again."

"What a great stay! We immensely enjoyed our time at Liki Tiki. In addition to the friendly and courteous staff, the provisions were clean and guaranteed us a wonderful night's sleep to take on the eventful parks of the area. Only issue...the constant calls and requests to make us 'buyers' of the vacation. We were not interested, so we did not sign up or make it to the lobby for this 'appointment.' We did not have time for any presentations on this, or any other weekend. They called the room several times, but I did not answer knowing full well that no one was given the room number to bother us. Other than the time-sharing wolves, it was a great stay!"

"I thought it was very clean and nice. I also loved the king size bed in the master bedroom. It was very spacious. I would add one more bathroom in the two bedroom . The beds were very comfortable and I like you couldn't hear anybody outside or in the other rooms. It was a most enjoyable four days and we would highly recommend it to other people. It was very well securied and having that made us have a more relaxed time. We had four adults and one child in a two bedroom and had plenty of room and stayed 2/14/13 to 2/18/13. "We were excited for our weekend at liki tiki. It was very cold, which was no fault of the resort, however, translated in not being able to take advantage of the water park. This was a big draw as we have an 8 y/o. When we arrived at check in, we were sent to the 'concierge desk'. This was a masquerade to get us to sign up for a time share presentation. I declined. I was offered $75 cash for my time. Again, 'no Thank you.' With each 'no thank you' my price rose $5. I finally was firm and borderline rude with my final 'NO THANK YOU!' When I threatened to check out and find other accommodations. When we checked in I also explained we were headed out to one of the Disney Parks. We arrived at LT around 1pm. They said there should be no problem getting us into a unit quickly. We drove around the 'resort' to familiarize ourselves and had to call back 2 times to check on our unit. We were never offered a baggage service to store our belongings so that we could get over to the parks.
Several hours later, we got our unit key and now were anxious to quickly unload and get to the parks. The unit was FILTHY! There were rings still on the stove top, stains in the refrigerator. The slider had been left unlocked and the screen door was also unlocked.
Upon returning my son used the jet tub. After we got settled into bed and fell asleep we awoke suddenly to a weird loud sound coming from the bathroom. It was the jets in the tub blowing air. I shut them off then fell back to sleep around 20 min later, SAME THING! I called the front desk. The female that answered needed to put me on hold. She came back and told me it is automatic after using the tub in order to clean out the jets and shutting it off would just prolong the cycle. I said we were trying to sleep there MUST be another option. There was, 'turn off the breaker in the guest bedroom. ummm...we are in a 1 BR unit. back on hold....oh ok it is in the master br. OK THANKS!!
We will, unlikely be back to LT. I would NOT recommend this 'resort' based on our experience. "

"My husband, our 9-year old daughter, her 8-year old friend and I went to this hotel for the long weekend (President's Day). We arrived late, it was almost midnight and we did not have ANY problems with them trying to push us a timeshare. Maybe because it was late? We called a few hours ago saying that we were running late and the lady who picked up both phone calls was very kind over the phone. Check-in was a breeze. We got some cards for freebies, welcome kits, etc to be presented the next morning but, of course, we never did. That is their opportunity to try to sell a timeshare. I guess the trick is arriving late since there is no one to annoy us with that timeshare stuff. I also like to point out that I have no problem in saying NO and if someone insists in stuff like that, I just smile and walk away. No one really ruins my trip with timeshare anymore. Been there, done that. :)
He gave us an upgrade room because he said that all the others were taken. We stayed in a one-bedroom which had been recently remodeled and it was BEAUTIFUL, really contemporary furniture, appliances from Cuisinart as well as pots and pans, Granite countertop, frameless glass shower with very nice looking tiles and accents, Moen water fixtures, etc, really really nice. Plasma TV on the wall in both bedroom and living room, beautiful light fixtures, washer and dryer, nice bed, lots of pillows, great sofa sleeper for the girls, balcony, really great. I was not expecting much as the pictures on their website show more like old-fashioned/outdated furniture and decor but I learned that this is the only building that they had upgraded and I can not emphasize enough how beautiful, clean, modern, expensive looking everything was. Oven is brand new, we baked pizza we purchased at Publix. Publix is far away, hubby took about 45 minutes to get there as traffic was TERRIBLE around the area. There is a 7-Eleven right around the corner and a few other shops on the main road. Resort is secluded in a quiet side road.
We never used their outdoor facilities as it was really cold but we saw from our living room window some people swimming in one of their pools. When we checked out two days later, we did not get any phone call or anyone at our door asking us to leave as I read it happened to someone else according to their reviews. Since we stayed in a condo, I called and asked them what we were supposed to do to avoid any unexpected charges. They asked us to load the dishwasher (not to run it), pick up all the garbage and take it to the chute across from the elevator, put all towels together in the bathroom floor, move furniture back to where they were found (we just moved the coffee table for the sleeper sofa so we removed the sheets from the sofa, closed the sofa and moved table back to where it was originally). Very simple, not a problem at all.
As we left, we decided to stop at the front office to ask about their 2-bedroom unit as we were thinking of coming back in July with more people. I made it clear that we were not interested in a timeshare and did not want anyone trying to push one on us. They simply said that their model unit was open and I could just go there and take a look. I left my DL with them. When we got there, there was one housekeeper just in the unit and we strolled it at our pace. The model unit was not as modern as the one we stayed in but it was beautiful as well.
We then visited their lagoon area, saw playgrounds, paddleboats, a shipwreck bar which was awesome and all the slides and the large pool they had in that area for the kids to play.
We are a family of three who has been to great hotels. We love those but we were looking for a 'condo' like place with a great outdoor area and we did like what we saw. We were very pleased and will be returning. :)"

"The place was clean, and the beds were fairly comfortable. The carpet looked like it could use a deep cleaning. I wished they had had tiled the apartment instead. Most things looked as if they were a little worn, but well taken care. You couldn't ask for easier access to the disney parks, but a disney rental timeshare it is not. Gave us a better price then what we paid for an extra night there at the last minute.
The water park area is nice for kids between 4-11, there is plenty of room for the parents to laze around while the kids explore the water slides and water sprays. The pool is about 3.5 feet in the water park area, and a little deeper in the heated pool area, which is in a seperate area. It also had a basketball court and tennis court, and several other things to rent and play with on site.
If we were just going to hang out at the pool, it would have been an OK place to go, especially since our son is 10...he's not to picky, but he wants things to do.

"My family and I stayed at the Liki Tiki 6 days 12/30/2012- 1/5/2013. There were 4 of us and the 1 bedroom villa was just fine. We were offered the Time Share presentation which we declined at check in but then later changed our mind and took part in the presentation and didn't feel pressured to buy at all and still received discount Disney Tickets.
The room was clean and very well equipped with all the necessities needed to cook a full meal. Staff was friendly.
If I had anything to recommend is a little bit of updating to some of the rooms but its my understanding that they are working on this. Also if you have a connecting room sometimes you could hear the conversations coming from the other room and I'm sure they could hear ours.
We would definitely stay there again."

"The resort was wonderfull and very accomadating. My son was hurt our first night there and they were so very helpful and caring. They called to check up on him for the next 2 days. They were wonderfull. The only thing i was dissapointed in was I was under the assumption that restaraunts and stores were very close and within walking distance of the resort. and they were not. A car was a neccessity and we did not have one. Other than that we had a wonderfull trip."

"Everything was wonderful. The place is clean, rooms are very nice and the staff is friendly. The only drawback which is not mentioned anywhere, is the Time Share sales. They never stop bugging you about going to a presentation on time share property. Even when you say no thank you, they still pursue a day and time that you will attend. They even offered us $85.00 just to go to the presentation, which we declined. otherwise the village itself was very nice, but, maybe people should be warned about the time share sales."

"We took our 10 year old with 2 friends for her Birthday. They had fun but, the place is for ages of about 8 and under. They 2 bedroom was nice for $100 a night. The staff called our room three times to find out about time share and would not take no for an answer. And upon checkout they were beating on the door 15 mins. early to tell us to get out now or pay more $$$$! This was very upsetting! WE still had 15 mins. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!"

"We were a group of 12 who went to Orlando to visit Disney World. We stayed at Liki Tiki from Sept. 22 through the 30th. Overall, we found it to be a wonderful experience. Liki Tiki's grounds were absolutely beautiful and well kept. We rented two 2-bedroom villas, which were both very clean and comfortable. The king sized bed we slept in was much more comfortable than our bed at home. We also had a large jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. It was nice to have tv's in the bedrooms, as well as in the livingroom. The kitchen was well stocked, and you didn't feel like you needed to wash the dishes before using them . . . everything looked very clean. It was so helpful to have a washer and dryer in our room, especially with airlines now allowing only small suitcases as carry-ons. Since we couldn't pack much for our trip, and since we were at Liki Tiki 8 nights, it was great to be able to do our laundry as needed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were lots of activities planned in the evenings for their guests, although we were too busy to attend any. If I had any cons it would be that the area outside of our room (foyer) wasn't clean, and the elevator to our floor was slow, but I would definitely recommend Liki
Tiki to others!!!

The sofa (we are 3 person,) is very old so the matrees vas very soft and in the morning Im more tired than when I got to sleep.. The cleaness is not as good as expected, The adress that is in the directions, don't specified the miles from Florida Turnpike(Miami), and ifrom exit 249, theres is more than 9 miles...."

"pros: many planned kids activities, the pool and slides were perfect for 10 and under, pool party dj played great misic on Sunday night, free bike rental, paddle boats and mini golf, friendly staff, check in at 4pm but they let you in early if the room is ready, shipwreck sally bar has good foor and specials, 2 bedroom villa was very affordble and close to everything (disney,downtown disney,outlets, supermarkets etc.), liked the security checkin at the gate, liked that the time share staff was not pushy at all, kitchen well stocked

"Stayed at Liki Tiki from August 24-31 with husband and 2 kids, ages 7 & 4. We LOVED the hotel! Our primary purpose was to visit Disney World, but we left room in our itinerary to enjoy the pools, mini-golf, and playground. This is a perfect resort for families with small children. Staff were friendly and attentive and didn't bother us about attending a time share presentation. Stayed in a 1 bedroom, kids slept on the sofa bed - it was actually more comfortable than our bed! Room was clean, nothing spectacular; it's always great to have the convenience of laundry and a full kitchen to save money on meals. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others!"

"My family and I just returned from a great five day stay at the Liki Tiki Village. We were very worried because of some of the really bad reviews this place received. When we arrived, we found everything, including our room, amazing. We stayed in a villa and it was great. Very clean, alot of space, and very close to the pool/water park. I read some of the bad reviews and the people who wrote them should be ashamed to even make some of the comments they made. All the staff and people we came in contact with were very nice and helpfull all the time. We found it easy to commute to all the parks, resturants, and shopping malls. We actually found it nicer than a Disney resort we stayed at last year. We had a fabulous time and would definately return here again."

"These condo's were great, just as they described on the web site, lots of fun things for the whole family. every night of the week they do different activities, they have paddle boats, mini golf, bikes, all free with your stay and then the water park is great for the kids, we had a great time there, we will definitely be returning all at a great price too. we also had an issue with our air conditioning so they gave our family of 5 all lunch or dinner at there restraunt ship wreck sally's , and free passes to a magic show that they had there. it was great! and they got the air fixed rather quickly."

Nice screened in porch, large kitchen, two bathrooms and a king sized bed. The parking situation was much better. I would HIGHLY recommend the townhouse."

You can bbq by the pool while watching your kids enjoy themselves in the pool. Having a fully loaded kitchen in the room was a great amenity.You truly don't have to leave the resort with all the amenities included. We would absolutely stay there again. The only reason to leave the resort is to go visit the theme parks. Another great thing about Liki Tiki is the accesibility to everything. The shopping, the theme parks are very close. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The lifeguards was very alert and helped a young girl out from heat exhaustion. "Once we arrived at Liki Tiki, we had nothing but great service from all we encountered. The staff was extremely helpful to us. Our TV went out in the living room, but within 15 minutes or so, we had a brand new one. The kids absolutely loved everything about it: the pool, putt putt, paddle boats, and the little arcade they had. There were bugs OUTSIDE, and if you are from FL you know you have them regardless. Even my kids box of cereal became soft.. :( See it above the bed and around the tub. Tub jets were cool but once you turned it on it never shut off and came on 3 times out of the night. I understand not all rooms are like that.... and the funniest part was... they try selling you their resorts etc and then they take you to the 'model' home.. and the guy asked why we wouldn't buy... "The room is descent and clean but the carpet is really yucky. We were scared to walk barefoot on it. Needless to say we wore our shoes and slippers all the time. Cockroach on the back porch and on the front door but not inside the room. If they could just tile the rooms and have terminix all the time this place would be a big hit.

"Our 1BR at Liki Tiki Village worked fine for our first visit to Orlando. Overall we were happy with the room and what it had to offer.
PROS:
- The onsite water park was great, at 4 feet deep even our 6 year old felt safe going down all the slides by himself. It closes at 8pm, which after visits to any theme-parks was a bit early.
- Laundry machines in the unit were a real luxury.
- Fully stocked kitchen, could easily make nearly any meal right there.
- Good size rooms, internet worked fine.the whole time.
CONS:
- Mattress in the foldout bed was terribly worn, barely ok for the kids to sleep on.
- Disposed of no less than 5 cockroaches during our stay.
- Strong, funky smell from the air conditioner that never went away
- Thin walls, as others have written loud neighbors could be clearly heard late into the night (past midnight). Not the greatest for kids and those of us who want to get up and out for hitting theme parks during the day.

"I booked 1 bedroom apartment for 7 days.We arrived on Saturday afternoon.It started not so good.I have been there in 1999 and i got nice apartment in new villa.This time we got old villa and when i saw apartment i did not like it.My son said he wants to back home.I called office and ask if i can be moved to another location.They said because of busy weekend maybe on Monday.Then i decided to give another try and went myself to the office.I explained the situation and one of supervisors try to help.Luckily after 30 minutes he came and give us keys to another apartment,which i expect it in first place.My family like it what they saw and would like to say thank you for Liki Tiki Village Resort staff.

"My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks with our 2 kids aged 6 and 4 in early June. While the room was spacious and clean, the decor, furniture and appliances were quite dated and could use an update immediately. The best feature of this place is the pool - it was great for our kids and they loved going there every day. The main problem we had was the spiders and bugs in our room. Every day we had to evict a few of them and the one day there was a spider the size of my hand on the wall. I called the front desk and they sent someone to get rid of it. Another day a giant beetle was flying around in our bedroom and landed right near my wife's head while we were sleeping. We could not figure out where they were coming from as we never went on the balcony and thus always kept the door closed. One evening we noticed a huge gap under and on the one side of the front door and came to the conclusion that thet must have be the entry point. We have never stayed at any place that had so many bugs coming into the room and this is a major strike against this resort. We were very uneasy sleeping at night because of this. Would I stay here again? Only if the 'bug' problem is resolved and the decor has been updated."

"Everything turn-out to be great a vacation. Our party had a mix up with our living arrangement, at Liki Tiki and we did not discovery it until a week before departure. I called and talked to three persons before I talked to this young man who corrected the problem after I explained the situation. When I got to Liki Tiki they were confused because, they had the first confirmation ID but when I gave them the new ID things went well. The apartment was beautiful everything a person well need to live for two weeks was there. King bed, queen bed, two double beds with a flat screen tv in each bedroom and in the living room full kitchen with all the dishes, washer and dryer a screened-in-patio, fantastic fun filled water area but it does get growded in the evening. It's in a great location. We came out to the main highway (192) and drove directly to Disney entrance. I will stay at Liki Tiki again plus I will tell everyone to try it they will like it!!"

"While searching for a new hotel to stay at Orlando, we stumbled unto Liki Tiki village. We were completely enthralled with the water park idea and heated pools for our kids ages, 4 months, 4 yrs old, and 8 years old. We checked in on May 24 and checked out on May 27. Our first night my 8 yr old complained that the sink was dirty and we needed to clean it. I thought he was being funny until the next morning we realized the sink was crack and badly stained. The wall/wallpapaer next to the light fixture had yellow stains on the wall. The Shower floor had mildew. I had to lay a towel down on the floor so the kids can take a bath and head out. I called and notified the front desk and they wanted me to purchase housekeeping service. Which I thought was ridiculous. So while the kids were at the pool. I had to go to local Publix and pick up some cleaning supplies. So yes, while I was on vacation I was cleaning. My pillow case was dirty and a few of the clean pool towels, were dirty. Yes, we called and the staff brought us from clean ones. The water park area was the best feature but the pool was not heated and our 4 month old made sure we knew he was not pleased. Our 1 bdr decor was definitely dated. For the amount we paid we were completely dissatisfied. Would I recommend or return to Liki Tiki, absolutely not."

"My children and I were overall were very happy with our villla. Our disappointment was the way the waterpark was hyped up! The waterpark is definitly for small children. My children's ages were 10, 14, 15. That was the deciding factor for me as a parent to choose this property for my children. As I stated earlier we did have fun, I felt safe and it was private, very nice!"

"We just got back from our vacation and had a really good time. The water park was excellent for all ages. The extra things at the resort were fun as well, minature golf, paddle boats, bicycles, etc. We had a 2 bedroom condo. The guest bedroom definately needs a TV in the room for the kids to watch. The sofa-sleeper was OK for children, but not for adults. We would recommend this resort for your vacation."

"My daughter, two grandsons and I arrived early on June 2, and were able to be given a two bedroom in the 200 units. We had 211A, and although they had been given bad reviews, the unit was refurbished, clean ( although not as I would do), and very spacious. we were very happy with it. Literally a hop skip and a jump to the childrens playground, paddle boats, bikes and the water park area. Liki Tiki was every bit as fun and nice as I was expecting! The staff, from the front desk, to grounds keepers werexceptionally helpful andpolite, and we had a wonderful time there. We went to the parks later in the day, which gave us time for pool and funtime. I will definitely go again,, and probably soon! Thanks Liki Tiki!!"

"I rented two two bedroon villas Asked that they be next to each other so we could share one kitchen. the rooms were on the ground floor one on each end of the building. I had mold , lots of it. The other room smelled of mold but not as bad as mine. The rooms were very nice, dacor was up to date but the carpit was damp,white sock were black in no time. I REPORTED PROBLEMS BUT WAS TOLD THEY WERE OVER BOOKED SO NO OTHER ROOMS WERE OPEN. if it were not for the mold the place was very nice. Lots to do even if it rains."

"We spent 4 nights, 5 days here in April with our 6 year old son. We loved it. The 1 room villa was spacious and clean. We were within walking distance to the water park area, which our son never wanted to leave. The restaurant/snack bar was ideally located in the water park area and boasted a variety of cocktails for the adults. It had numerous on-sight amenities for kids. Overall, our experience was relaxing and enjoyable, and we would stay there again. There were a few things that needed upgrading or repair (the T.V's in the unit, the bathtub), and one thing that needs to be changed. They push timeshares from check-in until check-out, calling your unit numerous times throughout your stay. My partner finally agreed to a 90 min. presentation, which resulted in 3.5 hours of our day lost, and plans having to be changed. We will NEVER do another timeshare presentation, and found their persistance to be pushy and rude. Other than that, we got our 'bang for our buck' and plan on staying again."

"The suites were great. The price was even greater. The pool/water park area was great for kids and mine would have rather been there than at Disney World some of the time. "We arrived on Monday and was allowed to check in early without previous notice. This place was AWESOME.. We had a 2 bed 2 bath.. and there was 5 of us.. My 14 yr old spent most of his time at the basketball courts while my 10 yr and 2 yr old spent time at the waterpark area.. We stayed in the 700 building and it was close enough to both of the areas that my kids wanted to go.. All the staff was very helpful.. and they had a magic show and a reptile show while there. Others have said about noise I had no problems( I did hear my neighbors the morning that I was checking out but sounded like they were doing the same as I was trying to get things ready to leave).. And Im not sure how the paddle boats and bikes worked because to us they were free but others have said that they had to pay for these things(and I know when we firs t arrived we was looking around and there is a price list where you rent these from).. If you want to use the bikes closed toe shoes are required..My daughter only had flip flops..but there is a walmart and target close to the area.. We will definitly stay there again "

"Pool was fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. All beds were comfortable, but the pulll out sofa was almost unbearable to sleep on. I would recommend the 3 bedroom villa if you have 5 or more in your group. I did not have any problems with the noise from adjoining rooms like you might read in other reviews. Bikes were fun but there is not much too see within the hotel area. If your stay includes bikes, go for it, but I would not recommend paying for a bike rental. Paddle boats much the same. My family and I had a great time and we will definately return and recommend."

"I read many reviews before I stayed at the Village and most of the reviews were true. I stayed in the 1200 building which was told to me that it was their latest renovated building. The atmosphere was great, the pull out couch is super thin for an adult. You might want to place a blanket/padding on it for kids but it was a big queen size bed. Although you don't receive housekeeping unless you pay for it, they provide alot of house stuff for you stay i.e. pots, frying pan, glasses, silverware, dish detergent, plates, cooking utensils, kool aid jug, laundry detergent and garbage bags....Not bad at all. The room had a long patio so if you need to put the dining room table on the patio to utilize the space for a blow up bed, it's suitable. The queen size bed was very comfortable, t.v.s were great. The room was separated from your next door neighbor by a door only. :-( The area sucks as for reception for phone. The pool area was pretty good for adults and esp kids. The service at the bar was slow and awful but the food was great. Their was a raccoon spotted which I feel isn't safe for guest.Overall a good place and I would go again. Also, it's very close to the 7-11, restaurants and publix."

"Our trip to Orlando for the 2012 Everest Challenge was so fun! We had a 1bedroom condo on the top floor overlooking everything. The rooms were clean and the jetted tub came in handy after the run. The washer & dryer was great for drying our towels after each use and to clean our clothes prior to leaving. With both a 13yr old and 2yr old, the waterpark was perfect. We didn't even get around to using the tennis courts or playgrounds let alone the basketball court, paddleboats, fishing & bike rentals. The Liki Tiki restaurant had really good food and yummy drinks. Living locally in Florida, our weekend getaways are always in Orlando and this was hands down the best stay yet."

"the resort itself was nice. I paid resort fees $49.99 for one week which i was aware of. When i needed more coffee i had to pay for it. There was a daily cost for house keeping so i never bothered and i kept the room clean. There was a cost for everything. You had to rent everything from a basketball to the pedal boats. the last night we were there we had no power for 4 hours including no water to shower in. THE DAILY RESORT FEE NOT SURE WHY THEY EVEN CHARGE YOU CONSIDERING YOU HAD TO PAY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL ITEMS.....WOULD I STAY AGAIN NO I WOULDNT"

"Definitely a place we will stay at again when we return to Orlando!!! The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our family of 5. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in! The kids enjoyed the waterpark and activities. It was very convenient to the Disney parks and Universal plus several stores in the area to pick up groceries and other items. Our one complaint is that the WiFi reception in the room was very poor and there wasn't a signal the majority of the time. We had to use our phones to access email and look-up information instead of the laptop we brought. Despite the WiFi issue, we highly recommend staying here!"

"We had a 2 bed/ 2 bath condo unit with 2 adults and 3 kids. We have stayed here before and boy has it aged. The unit was clean, but everything was just old. The beds were not bad, but it certainly wasn't like home. The pull out couch was awful and there were no sheets in the unit to make this bed, thankfully we did bring our own. Since we were only in the room at night, to sleep, it was ok for what we needed. My main complaint is that we were in a non-smoking room and our neighbors were smoking in their non-smoking room. The smell was awful, we called the front desk 3 times and they asked them to stop, however they continued to smoke late into the night. We had 1 kiddo recovering from pneumonia and 1 struggling with asthma and they never offered to move us to another room. Needless to say it was very frustrating!"

"My family and I spent 7 days here and it was AWESOME!! The kids had a blast at the water park and the other pools. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming. Our rooms were nice and clean. If we go back, we would definately stay here again. We ALL had an awesome time. Only thing I would complain about is the rental place they rented our car from E-Z Rental. If you go there and need to rent a car and they call E-Z Rental tell them NO THANKS. They are the worst rental company ever. Juss sayin... Anyway besides that this place was FABULOUS!!!!"

"Great place to stay with young kids. We enjoyed the location close to the main pools and restaurant bar. Pretty surroundings with the lake. You have tennis, basketball, paddle boats, a small beach area, children's playground, bicycle rentals and mini putt. We enjoyed the music at the pool area. The WiFi did not work at all while we were there and I had talked to 3 techs and had 3 ticket repaired numbers. They never did fix it by the time that we left. Wasted many hours speaking to them on this. I would recommend this resort to families with small children. They tried to talk us into a 90 minute meeting in order to get tickets, but we were not interested and they didn't push."

"This was our second stay, we had an amazing trip! The room was clean, and well stocked, the only downfall was the WiFi was not working. My family loves the fact that there is plenty to do besides swimming, especially since it was too windy, and cool to swim our last two days there. "Went there with my 6 yr old. Many advertised things werent there. For example, game room, gym and many other things werent free, This place is in the middle of nowhere and only people that like drinking are going there. SO if you travel with kod stay away or you will hear party for whole night like we did. On top elevator was broekn and was beeping all night. Hotel deserves 1 star. There is a 7-11 less than a mile away that you can buy coffee. I was sick of drinking people and requested switching rooms and that was declined by hotel. I would never return there."

"Our stay was extremely satisfying. Everything you can think of needing was in our room. I really enjoyed having the washer and dryer in our room. We spent a lot of time in the pool and jacuzzi, so it made it easy to clean and dry our swim things. "I think for the price, this is a great place to stay. Pool was really crowded the one day we went there but the kids had fun and the DJ was funny! We had a 2 bd/2 ba. Very spacious, clean and modern. Cooked breakfast every morning there for 5 days. Can't say much about the staff as we didn't deal with anyone besides the front desk person, who was fine. If we decide to do this trip again, I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again."

"We had an incredible time! My 2 daughters absoutely loved the splash park, the room was very clean and we loved having our own washer and dryer. The only down side was the walls were very thin and you could hear everything from the neighbors next door. We were so exhausted after visiting the parks though that it did not matter. If you have children make sure you get a 2 bedroom suite, no one will want to sleep on the pull out sofa bed. The mattress was very thin and you could feel the bars through it. "We stayed during Spring Break 04/05/2012 to 04/14/2012. Our stay there was an overall awesome experience. The room was very clean & spacious. We had enough towels. Bed was very comfortable. It had all you could ask for; from kitchen utensils to dish washing liquid & laundry detergent. The staff was very polite, respectful, & friendly. The resort is very beautiful & clean. The water park was a very nice added attraction. Our 10 yr old daughter made some friends & had a great time. We are planning on returning for the holidays (christmas, new year 2012). I will recommend this resort to all my family, friends, co-workers, & aquaintances. Keep up the excellent work & we will continue to be repeat customers."

"My Family and i are huge DISNEY fans but i'm a little tired of thier huge resort fees. i stayed here a couple of years ago with some friends but only for a short stay. My plans this time were to relax pool side and fish all week. No parks this trip. I ,honestly, wasn't happy the start of the vacation due to not being able to retire to our 2 bedroom condo untill 1600 hrs but that is thier check in time. we had a problem with an over flowing toilet that was resolved in less than 20 min. and that was it, no other problematic issues. we arrived on saturday at 1pm so we decided to hang by the water park and the pool bar. The staff were almost like family to us by the end of the trip. Bartenders Lance and his friend Layla became great friends with our 4 children by making those crazy blue drinks for them. My two sons were warn out by each days end due to constant battles on the basketball court. We had so much fun that on tuesday i asked for an additional night in our room and they graciuosly made it happen. This is the best place to vacation with the family if you dont want to hit the parks. You get a lot more value for your money with these spacious rooms. I promise that we will be going there for many years to come."

"Liki Tiki is marginally 'OK'. We checked in first day of trip around 1pm and quickly got settled and headed out to take in some sights. There were 2 full garbage bags left outside the neighboring room at the time. A maintenance man was nearby powerwashing the decks, a couple feet from the garbage. When we returned after midnight, my 10 year old headed up the stairs first which are right across from our room. He was greeted by several raccoon, actually marching up and down the steps. Apparently, no one took care of the trash and several raccoon had gotten into the bags and strewn garbage in the corridor, right in front of our door. We flagged down a security guard who shooed away all the raccoon and then picked up the trash ( I felt bad he had to do this). I was expecting a call the next day from a manager to follow up the incident, but it did not come. Nearly every day of the trip, there were garbage bags left a few feet from our door and at least 2 more nights we came home to trash everywhere that raccoon had gotten into. I talked to the front desk 3 times about this and was told a manager would call me....that call never came. The walls are paper-thin. The English family that stayed next door to us had raging drag out, curse-filled arguments at least once a day and when they came home at night they made no effort to be courteous. Having paper-thin walls doesn't help. They have a lot of free activities for kids and families which is nice, except when your kids want to play basketball and there are groups of 12 - 14 teenagers playing full court basketball and not giving up the court for anyone. Same true for the tennis courts - two to three times while there, groups of adults turned it into a soccer field - both tennis courts! One of the older female lifeguards at the pool was pretty nasty to all the kids that were there. Overall, there is a grimy feel to Liki Tiki. We've stayed at Westgate, Floridays, Caribe Cove, Star Island....so I can compare easily and tell you that if you can find an option at Floridays for about the same money, stay there instead."

"Honestly, we were gone most of our 4 night stay but the room was perfect for a family of 6. We stayed in a 2BR/2BA (in the 1000 building) and were overall pleased. The resort decor needs some upgrading as well as upgrades to a flat screen TV (not a true necessity but definitely a perk) and grout cleaning on the tile. We had a couple of maintenance issues; stopped up sink, lights not working, but these were resolved VERY quickly. There is no daily housekeeping, which is truly fine with me as I don't like the idea of people coming in and out every day. We did pay for housekeeping to come and do a full cleaning in the middle of our stay. The room was cozy and clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was fantastic and the staff was nice and easy to deal with. We weren't there to experience any of the activities but the schedule was impressive. The WiFi definitely needs improvement and was the only downer of the trip as we are business owners and needed to check on some things while there and couldn't because of the spottiness. I would definitely stay here again, though. I liked the close proximity to a grocery store, restaurants and Disney (the reason we were in FL)."

"The amenities are fantastic. Three pools to choose from and a pond with paddle boats. The suite was clean and air condition but the sofa bed was old and dated. the mattres was old and need to be replaces. No extra blankes where available. The area is isolated from restaurants and shopping due to highway traffic and lack of sidewalks. You need a car to move around the area. Shipwreck Sallys is a burgers and wings type of restaurant. Quickly you will get bore with the menu. Over all the place is nice but to far from the parks. Cab trips to Disney parks each way was average $60 to the airport $90."

"Worst vacation we ever had. It was supposed to be my sons spring break. He's only 6 year old. Nightmare started when they located us next to elevator that was making beeping nose even when off. Then drunk people singing until midnight. Hotel refused to change rooms saying that they have no other rooms. On top of regular charges be prepared for additional charges at least 20 per day per person for their misc timeshare charges and then most activities are not included. We had one towel for three people, no coffee for the supplied coffee maker, no supplies for washer and dryer. Property is huge and to use anything there we had to drive to the pool, bar, BBQ. Location is in the middle of nowhere and takes over an hour to get to parks. I will never return there. Forgot to mention misquotes and bugs in the room. Water park is 3feet deep and ok for lithe children. Next time I will save money and book close to parks with no hidden charges and no timeshares."

"The pool/bar associates were great and my kids had a good time by the pool. Definitely kid friendly resort. I work in the industry and believe that a culture of hospitality brings the guests back......I am not so sure that this hotel believes in that philosophy or cares. Their hospitality coordinator was one of the worst representation of hospitality I have seen on this is my 12 year in the industry. It's all about the delivery even when it is a message that needs to be delivered, if it is delivered properly it is a little easier to swallow. I was told by several associates to get anything you have to complain as I reported that one of the 2 treadmills wasn't in working order and my request for toilet paper of 3 hours didn't get filled until I went down to the front desk to get it myself at which time I was rudely told by the agent that any request will be honored through '0' (guest services) with a don't bother me attitude. I am not sure what the added daily fee for housekeeping is for because our room was never serviced and we found an empty pop bottle under one the tables when we moved it to set up the pull out couch the first night. Something tells me the hospitality of the front desk staff, activities coordinator and housekeeping team comes from the top down. I witnessed the General Manager behind the bar at one time with a line of guests in 90 degree weather waiting for drinks and all he did was nod at the gentleman while he was filling up his soda and just walked away. Never engaging the guest or stepping in to assist the very busy bartending staff. The atmosphere is great so it's disappointing to experience these service failures. I am only taking this survey because hopefully it will fall in the correct hands and these issues can be addressed....as mentioned the place has major potential and if you don't have high expectations when it comes to service I would give them a try."

I rented a car and the drive time to disny parks were less than 20 minutes.My only complaint is about the guests that have animals. They should be more responsible to clean after their animals. "My family and I went for a weekend getaway during spring breaki. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. It was nice and clean but it had a bit of a sour musty odor. This could be due to cleaning products or maybe it hadn't been aired out in a while; not sure. The on site water park was great for my 9 year old but my 11 and 12 year old were bored with it after one day. There were not enough activities for the tweenies( ages 11-13). "When we checked in the front desk gal just wanted to give us a first floor suite in a back building. Thankfully we had visited the resort previously and were shown a couple units so we knew there were better locations available. After we held out and refused to leave with their easiest answer they miraculously found a top floor unit with a south facing balcony overlooking the main pool and lakes. Three pools - 2 are smaller and quieter with comfortable strap lounge chairs and the main pool/water park that is busier with children and had the uncomfortably hard plastic lounges. The mini golf, basketball, paddle boats, shuffle board and quad bikes are included with the extra $7/night resort fee. We spent a whole week just enjoying the pools and amenities at the resort. Our 1bd/1bath condo was very comfortable. We were in 851F. The pool bar was a little noisy in the evenings but we got a kick out of sitting on our balcony and laughing at the drunk people trying to sing on karaoke nights. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped. The in-unit washer & dryer saved us quite a bit in laundry fees. Wonderful amenities for $72 /night. Super Target, Wal-Mart, Publix, and many restaurants are within a couple miles. This was the third condo/suites place we stayed at during this trip and was right up there with the Sheraton Vistana Villages resort. We were sad to leave."

"This was for the third time we stay at this hotel in a one bedroom villa. This time the friendliness of the staff was poor. Our toilet was stuck when we arrived after 24 hours of traveling. The plumber came within an hour. So lucky us, but. he promised house keeping would come the next morning to clean (dirty toiletwater was all over the bathroom floor) bring fresh towels. Nobody came. When we called, we only got 4 towels (and no bath math and normal set of towels) and the bathroom wasn't cleaned. We wanted to upgrade our flight back. When we asked if the staff could phone for us (because of the language), they told us to use internet. They didn't help us at all. Because of our 24 hours flight back, we want to stay in our apartment until 1.30 pm (flighttime was 5.00 pm). We paid for this 3,5 hour US$ 96,06. When we check out, the staff didn't wish us a good journey home."

"My family and I stayed at Liki Tiki for 8 nights in a one bedroom villa. The villa was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the on-site water park and outdoor amenities (paddle boats, surrey bikes, fishing at the lagoon). For the money, this place was awesome - it allowed us the convenience and option to make our own breakfast and supper meals, get a short break from the crowds and still easily get back to the Parks for nightly fireworks. Our only issues were the quality of the pull out mattress on the hide-a-bed sofa and the poor (slow) access to WiFi and/or lack of well functioning guest computers."

"Liki Tiki is a beautiful place to stay. Theres a waterpark, playground, paddle boats, fishing, mini golf, etc. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath villa. It had a washer/dryer combo which was nice and a fully stocked kitchen which helps in saving money while on vacation. I know everything wasnt gonna be perfect but the jet tub in the master bathroom did not work and the floor on the stairway floor hallway was broke. I was very much looking forward to using the jet tub while on vacation and called the front office to let them know so maybe they could fix it but the lady said there was no one there to fix it and that was it. No offer of anything. Also I did put in my comments that we needed a crib or pack n play when I booked our room but they were not informed. When we got there we had to wait for a while for the pack n play and then was informed that it cost $7.00 a day to rent one in which we had no choice because we had a 13 month old baby. If I would have known this I do own one and would have brought it with us. Also the high speed internet there is horrible. its about the speed of dial-up. The place is beautiful and I hated to complain but I want to be honest so that people will know what to expect when booking there. There are so many places to stay down there I would probably not book again."

"The room was great for our family of four. Very clean, spacious exactly as pictured on website. My girls loved the pool and slide. The ride to Disney was not bad at all. The only thing that wasn't pleasant is when I requested a late check out. Regular checkout is 10am an hour before most hotels. We were offered a late check out of 11am for no charge and a 1pm late check out for the full price of a one day stay. How that made any sense for the front desk to offer is beyond me. We were setting all our luggage at the front door of the condo when there was a knock at the door from housekeeping. When I stated that we were leaving & had a approved late check out of 11am the housekeeper resonded 'Yes but it's past that time it's 11:03am You've gone past that time!.!' It was the most ridiculous response from a housekeeper. To top it off when my wife went looking to advise the housekeeper that the room was empty and available to her at 11:07M she was found in a condo four doors down sitting at the kitchen counter with two other housekeepers just talking and not cleaning the room. "My sister took me to Orlando for a 'sister's vaca'. She told me where we were staying and I looked up reviews online to prepare myself. The reviews were terrible and made me nervous as to what kind of bugs we would encounter. They also said how the customer service was terrible and so on and so fourth.nnUpon arriving, we were both apprehensive, but excited to be in Orlando! The check in process was extremely smooth, and quick. Which was nice, because it was almost 10 pm, we were tired and hungry. nnWe got right into our room, which was the 4100 building. We almost held our breath right before opening the door. Since it was late all the lights were off and we couldn't see. Once we turned the lights on we let out a sigh of relief. This room we were in was IMPECCABLE! We had a 2 room villa. nnThe entire stay there was great, and I hope to stay there again when I return to Orlando. It's far enough away to enjoy being away from Disney, but close enough that you don't have to drive far! nnThe only thing that would have made it better would be having free WiFi. But, I was on vacation so it didn't bother me much. "

"We had an AWESOME time! The price AWESOME: we got a deal for $59/night. The village is EXCELLENT for kids. My son is 7 years old and he wanted to stay in the pool more than he wanted to go to Disney. I LOVED the villa. We stayed in a 1 bedroom and it was more than enough for 2 adults & 1 child. Everthing was clean and we had all the neccessary items we needed. There was so much to do we didn't get to participate in any of the scheduled activities because we were visiting the parks. The fee for the amenities was worth it! On our last day we didn't visit any parks but just enjoyed the pool, the tennis court, the paddle boat, the bikes and the mini golf. We were in building 1300 and even though we didn't have a view of the pools, it was very nice and quiet after a long day at the parks. Yes, the walls are paper thin but I suggest the best time to visit is Mon-Fri since the largest part of the park crowds arrive through the weekend. Our stay was EXCELLENT and we will be returning year after year!"

"I was quite impressed with everything the Liki Tiki Village offered! I booked our Disney vacation back in November for a grand, Disney vacation for my husband myself, and our 14 year old son for a 5-night stay in a 1 bed/1 bath unit. The property was beautiful., well-landscaped, and had great curb appeal. When we arrived, we found out that someone had input our check in as 12-15 instead of 2-15. The front desk staff promptly corrected the problem and had a 1/1 on 5th floor ready to go for us. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We were highly impressed and immediately fell in love with the resort. My favorite thing about the room was the jetted-whirlpool tub in the unit, just what you need to relax after spending all day at the parks. On the 3rd day, the coffee maker died. We left for the day and when we returned to the property that night, around midnight, we dropped by the office and told them about the coffee maker. Within 15 minutes maintenance was knocking on our door with a brand new coffee maker. The customer service is stellar! We loved it so much we ended up staying over an extra night. Yes, this property is a timeshare resort...the best thing is...they inform you about the 90-minute presentation schedule one time and leave it at that. They do not pressure you or bug you about attending. If a timeshare was something we were interested in the Liki Tiki would be the place! We met a few other guests: owners and (repeat) visitors, all were so friendly and loved the property. I highly recommend staying at the Liki Tiki for your Orlando vacation! We will never stay anywhere else! 5 Stars!"

".This is a place for small kids to have lots of fun, I have teenagers and when I seen the pictures I thought wow this will be great for them But From the looks of the pictures they have a big water park and its not at all big, It is very small, they call your phone everyday trying to get you to go to a presentation to get you to purchase a time share with them. And if your lucky you can get the room we got the dryer did not work the mop was broken and the vacuum did not work good, Also if you go out to the patio you can watch the workers load supplies from the Resort in their cars all day. and when you call for more supplies your told you will be charged. Also we booked the room for 6 and got bath sets for 4 not even enough towels for everyone in the room. Only way we will come back is if the price was to drop

"We saw this on the web and really was skeptical bc the price was so low! We didn't believe it until we saw the reviews like this so I wanted to do my part too. It really was as good as everyone says it is. We will ALWAYS return to the resort. 15 minutes to the gates of Disney. Super Target down the road. The best pool/water park, plus FREE mini golf, basketball, paddle boats, shuffle board and bikes. In hindsight we wished we had a whole day just at the hotel to enjoy the ammenties. Next year we will book a week there and only 4 days at Disney to take advantage of the ammenities. 2bd/2bath condo was PERFECT for my family of 5 (3 kids, 7,5, 4). Very clean, fully equipped kitchen with NEW pots/pans, utensils (had tags on them!!). We were in 208D and overlooked the pond by the water park. Unbelievealbe ammenities for $81/night. We did it through bookit.com and would do it again and again. Recommend to EVERYONE!!!! 40 minutes to the airport so you know...the directions below did not work backwards. we had to take an alternate route to the airport FROM the liki tiki. make sure you map it."

"We had a great time at the Liki Tiki and for the money it's by far the best place to stay. Its location allows for quick and painless access to the all Parks (avoid the Maingate traffic) and numerous restaurants are close-by as is a Super Target and Walmart should you need to stock-up on anything. I think my kids liked the pool more than the theme parks (and I know I did!) We stayed in a 2-bed 2-bath townhome and loved it. It was clean, well stocked with dishes soap etc., and comfy."

"The place was very clean, from the sheets to the forks. The staff was great and very friendly. The grounds were keep very well, and three pools were set at 90. It was hard getting the kids out of the pool to start our day. The restaurant at the lagoon (pool area) was called Ship wreck sally, had very good pricing and so was the food. This is a must go to if you plan on going to Florida. Anything you want and everything you need.
We will be returning to the liki tiki next year:)

"We just returned from a 5 night stay at the Liki Tiki. This resort will be at the top of our list on our next return to Orlando if the price fits our vacation budget. We stayed in a two bedroom unit and had plenty of room for our family of 4. We only had one problem during our stay with the unit above us flooding their bathroom which then flooded ours but within minutes of calling the front desk a maintenance person came and resolved the issue. We had no other maintenance problems the rest of our stay. The decor and style of the unit was a little dated but very clean and I'll take clean over fancy any day!
Keep in mind the time of year for your trip. Since our stay was during the fall, the water park closed as early as 6:30 during our stay so our kids were disappointed that they didn't get to visit it more. They also would close the side with the larger slides earlier which further disappointed our 10 and 12 year old. This is just something for you to keep in mind so you can plan your schedule accordingly.
With the washer and dryer in the unit we packed light and it was wonderful to bring home clean laundry! They provide a few packets of laundry soap which I used to wash the towels. I packed the Purex 3-in-1 sheets to use for our laundry and they worked great. The full kitchen was a huge money saver. Walmart is only 5 minutes away to get your groceries, too. The kitchen is stocked with all the tableware and basic cooking supplies. The dishwasher was an added bonus and dishwasher and dish soap is provided.
We want to give a big 'Thank You' to the customer service receptionist that recommended the 'after 9pm special' at Kobe Steak House. It was the best dining experience we had on our trip."

"The Liki Tiki was a great place to stay off the beaten path. Really is close to everything (Universal is a solid 15 minutes drive) so you will need a car. Our condo unit was beautiful but I could not understand why they put the kids room closer to the entrance than the master bedroom. The walk in shower was amazing and the jacuzzi tub in the 2nd bathroom was a nice addition. Neighbors were a little noisy but it was livable. Fire alarm went off at 12:45am one night for no reason. The luau was canceled due to off season occupancy- huge disappointment. We did do the time share tour and received $85 cash. It was a good 3 hrs, so plan for that. The property has a lot to offer a vacationing family. The water park was fun and the put put golf was nice and tandem bikes too. The arcade is way outdated and not of interest to my 7 yr old. All in all the trip was very enjoyable and the property was extremely safe with friendly employees and extraordinarily clean."

"We were truly pleased with this resort. The entire family had a lot of fun at the water slide pools! The resort staff was very friendly and accommodating. On our 2nd night, we did have to request a different room because the family staying next to us were extremely loud and it had gone on until 1am the 1st night. The front desk staff were so pleasant and apologetic about it. The resort had so many different activities to do and were all included in our stay. We would definitely go back to this resort! Oh, and its not at all far from Disney and it is pretty much a straight shot once you get on the main road. We highly recommend this resort for couples or families! "

"The hotel room was great. We stayed in the 2bedroom villa and the square footage was more than substantial for us and the 2kids. Very clean throughout the whole resort. The kids enjoyed the mini water park. The only food establishment was the poolside grill which was average. I would have liked more options. The WiFi was practically non existent, but fortunately we were on a vacation and did not rely on having internet. I would recommend this vacation spot hands down for families with kids under 13."

"Me and my wife, mom and four kids stayed at LIki Tiki from July 31-August 3, 2011. We were on a Disney vacation and were looking for an affordable place big enough to accomodate us. We were drawn to Liki Tiki because it has a water park and because the rooms have a kitchen. After reading previous reviews we were very concerned when we arrived, we honestly didn't know what to expect. Our room was the nicest place I've ever stayed, I saw absolutely zero signs of bed bugs and highly doubt there are any on sight. We stayed in Lom Lom VIllage and every suit we saw was nice and spacious and clean. The staff were super and the park was awesome for our kids. I Highly recomend this place and would suggest you disreguard any negative reviews. I think those people will probably complain in Heaven."
