I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in May 2016. Family of 5 (3 kids under 8) Pros: 1. Free awesome breakfast (includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels/ cream cheese etc). 2. Price - reasonably priced hotel. 3. Distance from Disney - only about 15 minutes 4. Staff : very courteous and helpful. Cons: 1. The hotel has an issue with hot water heating system. They seem to have an old heater that reeks smell and taste on the hot water (while showering or ... Read more

I love the HI Express brand because it is consistent. You know what you're getting every time. This HI Express is not consistent with the brand. It is very run down. The beds have quite a bit of age on them and are not comfortable. The rust on the door hinges is so gross that I even noticed the door hinges. Normally you won't see me reviewing door hinges but these stood out to me. The rooms are just run down and badly in need of updating. I hate bathrooms that are in disrepair -- like grout that... Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (Monday through Wednesday) for a training seminar. The hotel was convenient to all necessities (WALMART right across the street). Had a great swimming pool and jacuzzi area (very clean). Had a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sausage, etc). There was a workout room and a game room as well. Internet connection was adequate and the rooms were clean.......good beds and pillows. And most importantly...HOTT waiting for the water to warm u... Read more

I was joining my daughter and her family for a trip to Disney World. They made reservations in advance so I had not researched the property. After reading mixed reviews on tripadvisor and the IHG website, I was a little leery. The hotel is in a convenient location; not far from Disney, restaurants, and even a Walmart. Friendly service, free breakfast, shuttle service (8:10 am to Epcot only; return service two times 8:45 and 11:15 pm), Keurig, flat screen TV, great air conditioning, dependabl... Read more

Not a bad hotel for the price. PROS: free parking, no resort fee, friendly staff, free wifi, clean rooms with micro/fridge, free breakfast (bagel, toast, pancakes, eggs, yogurt, fruits, cereal, oatmeal, sticky buns, sausage patty...) and location--close to parks (about 12-15 min) CONS: walls are very thin!! I heard my neighbors full conversation. On the 1st night the room next door was having a loud gathering until 2am which kept me up. It sounded like they were basically in my room! Overall its... Had a nice one-night stay at this hotel. While I was there on business, it seemed like a great location for those looking to be within a short drive from shopping and attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't bad....plenty of seating and a good variety. I stayed in a room on the first floor. What I liked most about it was probably the bed. It was comfortable and not as high off the floor as other hotel beds. Only downsides were very thin walls (the people next door sou... Read more

This is a newly remodeled Holiday Inn Express properties. Known as Disney "Good Neighbor" hotel, this reviewer's visit was for a trade show at a nearby convention center. I was warmly greeted by the Manager on Duty, Felicia. She went out of her way to welcome me as a guest, even though I was a local FL resident. Cannot say enough good things about this property: location, fair/honest pricing, spacious rooms and customer service above and beyond the call of duty. Give this place a chance, yo... Read more

I just completed a stay at this hotel. When I walked in and provided my name the Front Desk Representative informed me my room had been upgraded to a suite with two rooms. The rooms were well prepared, the staff were very customer focused, and I was treated like a celebrity start to finish. A full breakfast was included and was outstanding. The Housekeeping staff were very good at their role and the room was returned to first class status every day. I was so pleased with my stay that I reserved ... Read more

If you have a car and so do not need to use Disney transport this hotel offers a good location and excellent value. Staff were friendly and efficient -honorable mention to Elvira on the front desk. Handy for Disney Springs, the premium outlets at the south end of International Drive and dining options in Kissimmee. Good size pool. Good buffet breakfast.

Rooms, very clean, bathroom nice and big and price was not bad considering it's Orlando area. Maid made sure we had plenty of towels. Very easy to get to ( traffic times are horrible around that area unfortunately, but that's Orlando) Lots of shopping and food options around.

Hotel is somewhat dated. Not up to Holiday Inn standards. Carpet everywhere was very dirty. Breakfast was pretty good but so many people and ended at 9:30 am!!! There is a strong smell of perfume in the lobby that is horrible for someone with asthma. This is the second Holiday Inn that I have stayed in recently that has the perfume smell

First of all this is a takeover hotel so its really dated, ill maintained furniture has stains, the towels we used had yucky red colored stains but they smelled of some detergent or bleach so they were cleaned but just really old and stained. There was litter around on floors and in the elevators. The interiors were stuffy and it was nothing like fresh and chick design I have come to expect from my stay at other HI express hotels. Breakfast was same quality though and housekeeping had tried thei... Read more

Moderate property, close to Disney. Family Suites are great when traveling with kids. Includes separate sleeping room with their own tv. Free breakfast is adequate but could use a few more options. Pool area would be nice if kept clean.

I stayed one night and I was happy with this hotel. Big room with two double beds, clean, the bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was really good. I didn't pay so I can't say much on the value for the money. The only thing I couldn't find was the bathroom aspirator. I would definitely go back to Holiday Inn.

When we checked into the hotel we were happy with the accommodations and the appearance. We had a king-size suite and it was very nice. Bathroom could be entered from either room. It was not until we went to bed that we noticed how noisy our room was. You could hear the people walking above and in the hallways. Kids ran up and down the hall constantly and down the stairs that was next to our room 251. Breakfast was very good but typical of Holiday Inn Express. All staff was very courteous a... Read more

My family and I rented multiple rooms for our vacation. We didn't pay for rooms with DIRTY CARPETS that seemed like they had old gum stuck to them, OUTLETS that were'nt flush with the wall, thus, DIDN'T CHARGE OUR ELECTRONICS, WALLS that are PAPER-THIN, allowing us to hear every peep out of the neighbors both next door and above us, UNDERCOOKED BREAKFAST SAUSAGE, and neither did we pay for a complimentary SHUTTLE SERVICE that was INCONVENIENT and TIME-CONSUMING - a 15 min drive to Seaworld took ... We live locally, but thought it would be fun to stay very close to the parks and come and go at a closer location. This location is great if you are on a budget and want to stay close to Disney. It is only about 10-15 min. They do provide a shuttle, but they drop off early and only come back late for pick up. So if you want to leave early, I think you might be out of luck. Lots of families here. So beware it is loud, sspecially come after 11pm, when the parks close. (Not a romantic location... Read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn Express. It might not be as up to date as other HIX properties but the location for this price can't be beat: close to everything: theme parks, restaurants, shopping,.. Nice clean room, big comfortable bed and good shower. Nice outdoor pool. Large parking. Carlos and Jose at the front desk were very nice and professional. Breakfast included. I would return for a next visit.

My stay was a very terrible stay because of this horrible hotel. No internet connection in the room, housekeeping didn't clean my room for two consecutive days, very unhelpful staff members. When I wanted to fix something in my room, the technician didn't speak English.

Checked in for a two night stay for work. Came in late and was warmly greeted by Carlos, who was extremely gracious despite juggling several conversations at once. He very patiently handled what could have been an awkward situation with a group of other guests and had me set up in no time. I got a single king room, which was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very tasty and well done. I'm giving the hotel 4 out of 5 stars only because the bathroom fixtures need updating--both the shower a... Read more

We have stayed at this location before, and have had no issues with cleanliness, service, or amenities. The only issue was that the shower curtain didn't cover the shower rod, so we used extra towels to mop up water. The breakfast was good as always, and the lobby area is very nice. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub as well. The staff are very friendly and always acknowledged you when coming and going. My wife and I love holiday inn, the breakfast is legit, the rooms always clean and the staff hospitable. This is one experience we regret as we stayed in a dirty room, asked for it to be cleaned and it wasn't. There were hairs all over the shower and room, a coin inside the sheets of one of the beds and an open soap bar in the shower. We asked for the sheets to be changed and the shower to be cleaned. The shower still had the same soap in it the next day. We expressed a concern to corporate... Read more

The staff at the front desk and the rest of the staff at the hotel were great considering the impending arrival of hurricane Matthew. The stuff at the front desk keep calm cool and collect even with the crazy check-in going on due to Hurricane Matthew. The hotel had lots of space in the suite to accommodate family members and it was clean and everything required to ride out the storm. Beautiful hotel great location great staff

We were traveling to Sarasota and needed to stop for the night in 'Orlando. There were not many rooms available but we found one at the Holiday Inn Express in Kissimmee. The rate was fair and the accommodations were very good. The breakfast was good with many items to choose from. The only complaint was that the flow of the breakfast area was complicated and needs to have someone rearrange it so people are not bumping into each other as they cross to fill their plate.

Was upgraded to the 2 room suite upon check in due to status with IHG. A lot of room which was very nice. Overall nice property very close to Disney, shopping, and variety of activities. Only complaint was bathrooms, first room had a shower head that sprayed sideways due to buildup (a little CLR by maintenance would go along way) 2nd room (switched because of shower and loud ac) was better. Other shower issues both rooms had shower curtains that were too short so if not careful you would flood t... Read more

The hotel is a little dated, but very clean. We didn't stay to chill out in the hotel room anyways. The breakfast is pretty good. I will give you a fair warning, that the king size bed was very firm. My wife didn't care for that at all. That's the only reason for the 4 stars, instead of the 5.

The place is situated behind some abandoned shops and a convenient store. The walls are paper thin and furnishing was nasty. The bread on the breakfast bar was stale and they offered only turkey sausage. No vending on the 3rd floor and had to visit two other floor to get one bucket of ice. Front desk was rude and when I departed I left a charger and the swore up and down I didn't but I know I left it on the bed
