"The hotel was good. We got what we paid for. The staff was very nice, and the inside of the room was nice. The location at night time was a bit scary, but an overall good experience. The website said it was only 1 mile from Disney, but it was actually several miles."

"I was disappointed in the room and service. The pictures on the site are deceiving. The room was not very clean and their was mold in bathroom shower. The room had an odor and with a person being allergic to dust, mold and mildew, this is not a place to stay. The worst thing was when the hairdryer did not work and they brought a replacement. The replacement one was sparking. When we spoke with the on duty manager, he was just on the defense stating this is Florida and if guest don't run the fan or dry out the bathroom it will get moldy. Not the answer I was looking for. I did request to be moved to another room, but the manager wanted me to walk the room we were in and I just simply left and went to another hotel. I would not pay any price to stay there."

"I have stayed at this hotel before and was happy to return for this visit! This is an older hotel and shows signs of wear. However, for the value, I think it's one of the best deals in the area. Here's why:

1. Friendly staff (one gentleman went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed.)
2. It's off the 'beaten path', but only a 5-7 minute car ride to the gates of Animal Kingdom. Not a lot of traffic.
3. There is a small breakfast included in the minimal resort fee. Frozen pancakes & waffles, boiled eggs, muffins, coffee, juices, instant oatmeal. The dining area is always crowded, so we took a tray and went back to our room to eat. It's not 'grand' or 'hot', so I simply thought of it as a PERK for staying there and not a 'you call this a hot breakfast?' moment. There are plenty of places to grab a more substantial breakfast in the area, including fast food right next door.
4. The rooms are quaint (smaller), but we don't spend a lot of time in the room anyway. The pillow-top mattress was a welcome sight at the end of a long Disney day. We had a king bed in a room very close to the pool, so it was easy to load and unload the car through the exterior door.
5. The rooms have inside hallways and you must have a room key to access the exterior doors, so it felt very secure.

Remember, you're vacation is what YOU make of it!

"The room was small but clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the only complaint I have. It was muffins plus frozen waffles and pancakes. They did have hard boiled eggs, bagels and cereal. They just may want to upgrade to actual hot foods. For the price it was fair."

"This place was a dump. This is not a complaint, this is the fact of the matter. The room was sticky. The place smelled weird, and im a smoker so that is saying a bit if i can smell the odor..... The hotel manager basically got in a shouting match with me over the wireless when he didnt know what in the hell he was talking about. Overall this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and wont stay there again."

"The price and location of this hotel are two of the best things it has. Being located away from the main glut of hotels seems to make it quieter and easier to access. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would certainly return. It is not a luxury hotel but it is not promoted that way. I would recommend it to those looking for a good value."

"I stayed here for 5 days in the first week of March. Long story short; you get what you pay for.

Wall had stains on it, bathroom is very tiny, found items left behind from the previous guests in the room.

But like I said, you get what you pay for. For about $45 a night, it's what I expected. If I wanted luxury, I would go somewhere else.

Morning breakfast buffet was horrible...don't bother.

Staff could be friendlier too. Many mornings/evenings I said 'hello', and they wouldn't even respond back.

If you're just looking for a place to stay for a night then continue your activities the the remaining hours, it's not a bad place to stay. If you want a place that you'll spend more time in other than just sleeping, or a place without stains on the wall and a tiny bathroom, look elsewhere."

"Destiny Palms is a great place to stay....we only stayed on night since we arrived a day early and couldn't get into our other hotel, (Champions World Resort), DON'T STAY AT CHAMPIONS!!! Its a dump, the heat/AC didn't work. It has tile floors, is dirty, the pool heater was busted and overal it was a bad place to stay.

I really wish that we had stayed a the Destiny Palms the week we were there.
But I did get to take my Grandson to Disney World for Christmas."

"The hotel was good for it's money, it was not a luxury hotel by any means but it was clean, soft beds, and great customer service. We only stayed one night, but it was a good price. I would stay there again if we needed something cheap and clean."

"I will definitely not stay in that hotel anymore. The rugs had a smell, the sink did not drain, the room was too small, the bathroom extractor fan was noisy. I had stayed at that hotel before and it was average. This time, it was poor."

"The Destiny Palms on the 192 in Kissimmee was a good value. The room was on the small side with only one nightstand & had one king size bed, but we didn't plan on staying in the room long. The room was clean & had a refridgerator ,mini oven & coffee machine & large wall TV.. The breakfast was OK, would have liked some fruit but plenty of bread bagels etc. For the price it was a bargain, if you don't need a shuttle bus to the parks its good. Outside is a MacDonalds & Houlihans so food is close by. The staff were friendly & helpful & we would use it again when visiting friends in the area."

"After reading reviews about this hotel , I stayed for 3 nights . I moved from another one and this one works good for me.
This is a nice small hotel with nice staff , comfortable beds and clean rooms.
Location is good ,close to DW parks, there are plenty of restaurants(like Fridays that has good meals for 10.99 or 12.99 that will fill you up or Joe crabs my favorite place for 25 $ per person but great food ) and grocery stores around like Publix , Target close at 10pm or Walgreen 24 hrs open.
Its important to find places that are open late because after all day in the park ,we were coming back at 10;00 pm or 11pm and We were ready to eat some good meal .
The staff is nice and helpful. There is a resort fee of 4 $ and after I used bookit.com discount 15 % off ,my price per night was 48.00 $ w/ tax and resort fee included and free breakfast. The price was good.
The housekeeper works very good and I got clean bed and towels everyday. .The room is small but for a couple and a child was ok, there is not many storage place ,it has a small closet , the bed and room looks like just the pictures taken above .The rooms is clean , a/c works good ,TV has many channels, there is a toaster and minifridged in the room and I used the microwafe to my child's popcorn downstairs.There is a coffeemaker w coffe in a small table in the room .The room is very small .The beds are very comfortable .
Theres is a shower in the bath , no tub ,,but it was easy for my 5 year old child .The only bad thing was a strange noise coming from the toilet once in a while probably some water filling the tank ,but not a big deal.
The pool is nice and warm. There is plenty of parking lot.There is only one computer but only for important things like boarding pass , check emails or check fly .
The breakfast is free but I didnt tried because is closed after 9 am .

I will recommend this places for a single person or couple or a family of 3.

I also want to thanks bookit.com because they have great customer services . When I have problem w my other hotel, bookit.com dealt with them and helped me. I got my disney tickets from them also and the prices are good and good discounts offers 15% off for the hotel that help me save a lot. I will used it for my next trip."

"This Hotel is in the quieter end of Irlo Bronson Highway (192) it was very clean the staff very friendly and we stayed in a King room. The room was very comfortable and had a shower no bath which was grreat. The only bad points were that there was no bedside table on one side of the bed for my husband to put his glasses on and there was no microwave. It did had have a toaster oven and a refridgerator. It was fine for an overnight stay but did not have much wardrobe space or drawer space or anywhere to put your luggage if you were staying for a week. Apart from that we would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay and McDonalds was right next door."

"Staff was very helpful, recommending restaurants, giving us information on the theme parks and helping my son figure out the ice machine. Room was nice, a/c was ice cold, and the breakfast was just right. Will stay there again on our next visit. "
