"I really loved this hotel. It was rather clean, quite, and the service was amazing. All the employees were polite and eager to help me with all my needs. Many shuttles were near-by or in walking distance. there were also resturants nearby, and in walking distance.They also have a nice breakfast in the morning, and had tasty waffles. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We stayed 8 days at this hotel last week and were very satisfied. We were treated like family by the staff in the lobby and loved the 'breakfast' ladies. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping had the room spotless and replenished every day. My only 'complaint' would be the shuttle service to/from the Disney attractions. I did not like that there was only one time for drop off and pick up. Most of the pick up times were right when the parks had their fireworks show and therefore we had to miss it. It also was not available to each of the Disney parks...you had to go to Animal Kingdom and then take the Disney shuttle buses to the other parks...this is at least an hour of comute time to the parks each morning. "

"For $92 a night, this hotel was great! It slept 6 comfortably. The room was very clean and hotel staff was very accommodating. Overall I would def. stay here again and have already recommended it to a friend. Do NOT go to the restaurant right next door, it's terrible food and service!"

"My two daughters and I stayed a full week at this hotel last week and were very satisfied. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family by the staff in the lobby and the gentleman who worked the giftshop. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping had the room spotless and replenished every day. The shuttle service to/from the Disney attractions was not only helpful but had friendly drivers as well. The pool was clean and even the gentleman who worked in the snack bar at the pool was polite. Plenty of restaurants/shopping within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel as well as stay there again!"

"This isn't the normal hotel of this chain that we usually stay at. However. We completely loved and enjoyed this hotel. Though we did not use many of the amenties, we did enjoy our room. Breakfast for us was a joke, the food quality was poor at best. Very disappointing. Our room on the other hand was very roomy. More importantly it was clean."

"I had decided at the last minute to take my Bible Class on a trip to Disney and when searching online I came across the Clarion Hotel Maingate. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability as well as the superior customer service. Affordable because the rooms were quite comfortable to accomodate 5-6 people, and I said superior customer service because from the time we pulled in on Friday evening at almost 10pm, to the time we checked out on Sunday morning at 10:30am, every single person we came in contact with was helpful, kind, and resourceful. I thank you for the great experience, and look forward to seeing you again. Close proximity to Disney is also a tremendous plus, as well as a great grocery store just down the street."

"Arrived at the hotel to check in for my 'guaranteed' reservation (paid in full two weeks prior) to find they had sold my room and had no room for me. They sent me to the street with a pitiful apology and it wasn't until my husband demanded they do something that they called a hotel for us and referred us down the street to the tune of $100 more per night than this room-which WE had to pay for in full. Still no refund or compensation-hell, I can't even get the general manager to answer the phone. I have contaqcted a consumer protection attorney-this isn't legal."

"My stay was alright. Rooms need to be revamped. Nice lobby!! Close to attractions, which was the reason we booked this hotel. Some staff members didn't know where some of the places we wanted to go to. That was very odd. All in all had a good time!!"

"Overall good value for the money, close proximity to Disney properties.

It's definitely an older hotel Clarion's been investing money in, still has a little ways to go. I would suggest they next look to replacing hotel room doors which are starting to warp. Thats an obvious thing that people notice right away. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Everything worked, so no issues there."

"ok the hotel is nice,rooms are ok.you have to pay for a free breakfast at in other hotel . the shuttle service suck,,,,and i mean suck . we learned a trick if u out late catch the disney transportation to animal kingdom lodge go to the bell service and get a cab back to the hotel cheaper 7.00 and u can stay longer at the parks.shuttle dont go to magic kingdom. "

"Convenient location to Disney parks. Complimentary shuttle a little tricky (doesn't go to Magic Kingdom; also, due to bus times, may need to go to one Disney park and transfer to another). Room was clean; staff friendly. Price was right. Would stay again."

"The hotel was just okay, it was kind of clean. Our room door handle didn't work sometimes which made it difficult when trying to juggle our luggage or baby and open the door at the same time. Also we booked a king room and they gave us two double beds which was unfortunate because three of us (my wife, me, and our baby) had to sleep in a double bed and try not to fall off. Distance wise it was really close to the parks if you have a rental car. The shuttle from the hotel does not go often enough and only goes to certain parks so it wasn't beneficial to us. After looking at the overall package it would've been better to stay at a Disney hotel."

"Like always, I had a wonderful time at the theme parks! My stay at the Clarion was pleasant. Shuttle buses to theme parks were adequate. Would have liked shuttle to the airport. I didn't like the limited amount if channels to watch during my stay at the Clarion. Bookit had great packages. Will use it again"
