There are beautiful clear flat screen tv's in the rooms, new patio furniture out by the covered pool and a gorgeous landscaped area with a pond in the back. Staff was pretty polite but this is the only thing to say something good.
The room ( floor, walls, toilet table) was soo old that it looked untidy. Washroom smelled stinky, like someone used it and did not flushed right before we enter.

"When my bride and I first got there the first impression was great!:) We checked in and the staff was great! We got to are rooms and the room was clean and smelled good! The a/c unit worked but it was kinda quirky to use! All was great and quiet and peaceful until the sun went down! Very noise and, and it sounded like the people where in the room with us it was that load! And in the morning the maids cart sounded like an L train coming done the track by our door! nights where noisy But in all fairness it was spring break and the staff fixed the problem quickly by talking to load guests! The maid cleaned are room and always checked on us as we left each morning:) Would we stay again possibly! Hotel had a well lit parking lot and safe feel! If your looking for peaceful quiet place it's ok, I rate it a 60% on quiet, 95 % on cleanliness , and 90% on friendliness. Over all a 90% :))"

Staff polite and friendly and on checking out early was asked where we were off to so early. On reply and saying that I had left the all important map behind, the young lady said, no problems, i'll print you out a route and directions.
Service above and beyond, and invaluable for us.

"I just got back from my trip to Orlando. This is by far, the worst place I have evered stayed at! Rooms were pretty rundown, everthing about the place was old. The pictures you see online are deceiving, I have to admit they highered a great photographer to take these shots. The indoor pool was not operating, this is one of the main reasons for picking this place, the wifi was down, phones were down. They had the never to charge us a resort fee for amenities that were not even working. I WOULD NOT EVEN RECOMMEND THIS DUMP TO MY WORST ENEMY. They also claimed they were 2 miles from Disneyworld, and so on, what a crock. Next time, I will do a little more research before booking my package deal. "

"The pictures shown are very misleading - the pool side is by a small pool on the other side of the property and not what the pictures indicate. This is no more than a Days Inn converted over to look good but does not. As soon as we drove up to the hotel we were all disappointed. My neighbor said the same thing when he booked his room that the pictures lie about the property! I wish I had a way to move out of here and into a nicer hotel. Oh yeah the internet is NOT in the rooms unless you are at the front poolside or in the lobby according to the staff."

"My family stay in Orlando 8 day/7 night to visit Disney World. After stay one night on another cheaper hotel, my wife decide to move to a better hotel with covered pool. We are very happy to stay in Champions World Resort for 6 night. My family really love the covered pool that we don't have to worry about applying sunscreen. I love the coin washer that I can wash the sweat soak cloth everyday. My wife love the air conditioner have the Auto Fan setting that it will not noise all the night. The room is big enough for family of 4 people. The cleaness of the room is okay, except the bed cloth (both liner and comforter) has some stains. We ask for the front desk and the replacement still has some stains, just less than the original one. Another weakness is the wireless internet. It is quite weak in the room. Reception from my Acer Andorid Tab is very poor, while the Laptop is a little better. The bottom line, at least I can upload photos to Facebook via my Laptop in room. The last weakness is the bath tub drain. Using shower is okay, but it will be 2-3 inches deep if using faucet. This hotel is good value for the price."

"NOT A RESORT! Upon arriving the headaches began. First we couldn't get keys properly made for the room doors. After 6 tries & 3 r/t to the front desk we get ino our room. 1st impression: Yuck! Hard, old, ugly tile floors with 2 small full size beds (not queens or kings, but full!), dim lights, smell of mold, and overall disappointments.The staff is the 1 star. They were very accommodating, and they did try their best to rectify the situation. So we 'upgraded' & went to another room. This time it was the same, but with a couch & a dead cockroach in the middle of the room.It gets better... Each night of sleep was difficult at best. The beds are hard & we were never rested up to do Disney 100%. And as for the free Internet ... Only in the lobby, laundry room near the lobby, and spots around the main building. o working wi-fi in the rooms!!!The icing on the cake is that we were charged a resort fee. I asked what the fee was for and told that it was because it was a resort. O.K. But what does the fee pay for? To use the swimming pools? The staff lady says, 'No, it's because we are a resort and you stayed at a resort.' I wanted to say, 'No! This is not a resort. This is a fancy motel charading as a resort.' Do not stay here unless you like the smell of mold, critters in your room, and hard beds. Oh yeah ... And left over pubic hairs on the bathroom floors from previous guests. This is all true."

"This facility is way out of date with the only exception being the air. It was very difficult to regulate the water for a comfortable shower. The tv was old and outdated, the pool was not indoors it just had a awenning covering it. The locks on the doors did or work half the time. Overall I would never stay there again. It was not much of a bargain either since their walkin rate was $50 per night."

"You get what you pay for. We got to the hotel and the floor was tile, the toilet did not flush right. If you want a good night sleep, the beds are horrible, they don't use fitted sheets, just top sheets. The hot tub was nice but wasn't hot. The heated covered pool was nice, their was lovely bats swarming under the roof and during the day they have birds you can watch feed thier babies as stuff falls into the pool. They have a comp shuttle to disney but you can only return at 5:45 or 10. Then they get you for an extra $7 a night resort fee REALLY! Resort, I don't see how they can call it a resort. They provide towels at the pool the size of hand towels. The tv has like 4 channels. Never going back."

"When we first arrived, the lobby area looked pretty decent, so I had a bit of hope, until we went to the counter to check in. They informed us that though we had already paid for the room there would be a $50 deposit and a $7 'resort fee'. When my husband complained about the deposit as our room was already paid, the lady at the counter said they don't keep the money, just put a hold on it so they aren't really doing anything. Well, that means I don't have access to that, so I beg to differ. During this time, we had not had dinner, so I went into the restaurant area to order food to go. Upon paying, as I was about to give a substantial tip, I realized they had added an automatic gratuity to the bill for two plates of food to go, and two drinks. I have seen this for large parties, but not for two guests.nWe then went to our room, and were concerned about going in as the light was on and it looked occupied. It turned out to be empty, however, and appeared more like someone had just run in and turned on the a/c, the room was very warm and musty. The carpet was also dingy, and there was some red unidentified thing on the ceiling?? As we had already paid and it was nonrefundable, of course, we stayed. There was also a paper by the bed listing the cost should we take an item, such as $10 per towel or battery, or $65 for a 'duvet', the dingy old bed cover. The tub also would not drain properly, and had to be turned off frequently so as not to be standing in the muck of previous guests. There was also mildew around the tub. Before leaving, we toured the 'Nature Park' which could have been fabulous had it been kept up, but the pond areas were not filled, waterfalls not working, and paddle boats could be found abandoned in overgrown brush in one area.nThe room and the nature park gave the impression this place was on it's way out, and the nickel and diming for everything was too much. Oh, did I forget to mention there was NO soap provided, and when advised of this, they sent someone over with ONE little bar of soap... I guess that is what we paid a $7 'resort fee' for. Never again..."

"This is the third time we have stayed at Champions. They have updated the rooms and added a very nice nature trail. Not many TV channels to choose from and sometimes the picture was 'snowy' but we really weren't in the room much. For what we paid it was well worth it!"

"Will never go back to this place. Arrived 4/7/12.. 1st day room #112 was musty but, we aired it out with the AC.Went to check out for another room as planned on 4/8/12 was told we didn't have to check out of room #112 if we wanted to stay we could....we stayed so we unpacked everything. Went out on 4/9/12 to enjoy Orlando got back to room and was LOCKED out. Went to front desk only to find out we did have to move it was late and they said we could move out around 2 the next day. So the next day we went on a trip and came back around 12 and was LOCKED out. Went to front desk and was told we had to move ASAP so we did to room #106. The T.V. wasn't working right and found out the refrigerator wasn't working so our food got hot. They replaced the t.v. just fine but, took out the larger fridge and gave us a small one and they put our food in it for us but, when we returned late that day our food was frozen. We saw that the temp.dial was all the way up so we turned it down but, it took more than a day to thaw out our food. I was mad as all get out because we had to work to thaw out our lunch meat to eat and our drinks & milk had to run under HOT water to thaw them out. So we stayed at this room until 4/14 as planned then we had to check out and go to another room so we went to #154 and stayed there until the #17th when we checked out to come home. My husband went to the restaurant to get his coffee each morning and the lady that was working always gave him a mean look and was huffy with him to get him a Styrofoam cup. We also got 2 calls from the people set up in the lobby selling tickets to events. I didn't come to Orlando to be solicited. Also the the first 2 days/nights there the water pipes were making a very loud that sounded like someone screaming. It scared be big time one night and I had a hard time getting back to sleep. While in room #106 our King size bed was nice except they put queen sized flat sheets on in and every night the sheets came off so we had to fix them often. The floors were dirty in each room! They swept them out each day we had maid service but, they didn't mop them so when we took our showers and walked around the room our feet got very dirty and we had to wash them before going to bed. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and I liked that."

"My son went to the bathroom the first moment we were there and it didn't flush - took us 2 days to get it down the toilet. We just slept there and didn't take the bus - even though at the end we were charged for it. Hotel was out of the way of everything and I was glad I had a rental car because it would of been difficult to get around."

"Great location to DIsney.if your driving. There is only one shuttle time to go to disney which was at 10:40am and only two returning trips. "the hotel offered free shuttle service to the disney parks, bus driver said to arrive in lobby 10 min prior to depart time we were in lobby 20 min before and the shuttle was already gone. The hotel offered to call us a cab so we obliged thinking they would take care of the bill well we ended up paying 60.00 for a ride to the park. the shuttle doesn't just stop at this hotel and take you to the park, it goes to 4 other hotels in the area and you're on the bus for at least an hour your lucky if you even get a seat. the toilet would not flush unless you held the handle down until the toilet paper went down, staff was told about it and did nothing the whole 6 days we were there. i asked for an extra pillow the first night we arrived and didn't get it until two days later when i went back to the lobby and complained. outlet plugs were very outdated we were afraid to plug anything in.would not stay again"

"Straighter to the point... DO NOT STAY THERE!! My room overlooked the pool which was suppose to close at 11pm! Well every night for a week it closed anywhere from 12am to 2am!!! I made SEVERAL calls to the front desk with NO success!!! It was VERY noisy!!! Electrical devices (curling irons, blow dryers etc WOULD NOT stay in the sockets!!! "My stay was a total mess not the experiance i expected to have, the room to start bathtub was clogged I called the front desk and noone ever showed up, my tv contol dod not work called about that and nothing was done the front desk it took about 40 minutes just standing in the front desk waiting for the employee to even try to help me, the housekeeping was not Great even with the do not disturb sign the house keepers tried to open the door while I was changing. No privacy never again horrible experiance and far from dining locations, breakfast was about $27.00 a person for scrambeled eggs rediculous. Thought I was going to enjoy my booking experiance at the hotel but it was a total mess."

"I am usually not a complainer, BUT, this resort SHOULD NOT be classified as a resort. It is just a cheap hotel room. I had reservations for 6, 2 adults and 4 kids, three were ages 9 to 11. Beds were okay, but the DELUXE sofa bed was nothing but SPRINGS! The mattress was sooo thin, I wouldn't let my kids sleep on it. Instead, I endured the pain. I thought the sofa would be in a semi/separate area, but it wasn't. The room was so crowded. Water pressure was very weak, shower, and toilet. Sink took forever to drain. Cheap weak coffee/maker. And I found bugs in the room. Never again!"

"This hotel was the WORST we have stayed in in a long time. The beds are terrible to sleep in (suffered from back pain & lack of sleep the whole stay), the 'available outlets' all TWO of them are in the bath ? and had to unplug the coffee maker to use both? This is the FIRST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN THAT DID NOT HAVE ANYPLACE TO PLUG IN YOUR CAMERAS OR PHONE TO CHARGE EASILY? Two cameras and two phones to charge and no place easily accessible to do it? We had to unplug the alarm clock ( WHICH DID NOT WORK ANYWAYS ) and the microwave to charge our devices on the trip, PLUS the outlets were so old and worn out that anything plugged in without a ground would just fall back out in the middle of the night ( never seen this before- EVER ) so our cameras did not charge - so much for the 'memories' of the parks. We stayed for three nights and requested a wake up call every day and NEVER GOT ONE until the last day - glad my phone has an alarm clock especially when the clock in the room did not work nor did we get our wake up calls. The 'Safe' in the room did not work and did not really matter anyways as you could just pick it up and walk out with it because it was not mounted down ? The 'safe' just sat in the nightstand. Our beds were made with the bottom two feet of the bed not covered by the sheets? The 'service' at this place was NON-EXISTENT the staff could care less about you and your stay - just call the front desk after about 20 rings they would FINALLY answer- EVERY TIME . THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN - IT IS AN OLD HOTEL WITH SORRY SERVICE AND WE WANTED TO CHECK OUT THE FIRST DAY BUT DIDN'T WANT TO WASTE OUR VACATION TIME RUNNING AROUND TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL. LIVE AND LEARN - THIS PLACE RUINED OR TRIP ."

"Know before you go... upon entering the lobby we were greeted by a really FUNKY smell, not sure what it was... Service was ok and check in was a breeze. The Outside of the building smelled liked a giant pot of boiling eggs, not sure what it was. Got to the door of our room and could not get in, the key worked but the door was jammed (can you say FIRE HAZARD). The room was a little out dated and stale (probably because they couldn't get the door open) The entire hotel is in desperate need of some serious repair/remodeling. But, you get what you pay for....."

"when we first arrived we were placed way in the back of the hotel 3 buildings away from front office by a stinky crud filled pond hotel was empty and we could not get the internet back there had a daughter that had 2 online classes she needed to get done so they moved us to same building on the other side farther from office the girl on that night was not helpful at all no matter what we said so we went to bed next morning went back to office to find out about the internet not to complain about room but the girl on said she would move us closer to office no questions asked i cant remember her name but i filled a card out on her and said she went beyond to help us out and this made are stay more comfortable and fun so it went from bad to real good and yes we will stay again oh and it was located perfect for disney and old town and great food spot as long as you have a car"

"You get what you pay for. The room smelled horrible, the phone never worked, there were yellow stains on the comforter, the wireless Internet rarely worked and you had to keep checking/ messing with it to get it too work at all. The noise was so loud it was difficult to sleep until two a.m. And then after being up lat they had a man come in with a jack hammer to fix a ladder by the pool. I tried to speak to the manager, but after being told over and over tha t she was not around or would all back.....I gave up. Will not recommend it for anybody and will never return there!!!!!!!!"

"My husband and I just returned from a 8-night stay with this resort. For about $350 I was very pleased with the rooms, the facilities and the staff. Everyone was friendly and the rooms were surprisingly clean. I have to admit when you first drive up to it you're like 'What did I just book' but when you walk into the lobby it's very nice, as well as the grounds behind the hotel, which include a baseball field, a tennis court, as well as a walking path that was really nice for sunset strolls. I would recommend this hotel if you don't have a lot of money to spend or you can't afford the luxury hotels...And the fact that it was All Star Weekend and Winter break (busy season in Florida) made this an excellent choice, because even the crummiest of crummy places were charging over $80 per night."

"Well The price was really good but this was one of those ' YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR' The hotel is old and of course has the ugliest color scheme going but that I can live with.There was a musky smell when we first walked in but appeared clean. The problem for us was on our last day there we had an oppurtunity to watch the staff clean a room next to ours and the problem for us was they take off the bed sheets GREAT but the blankets are not washed after they are used when they put clean sheets on the same blanket goes on. and def wasnt just that room either when you look around and watch all of them all they do is take the sheets off the bed and never wash the blankets. I know we used our blankets especially since we had the A.C going. We were not happy with that. We never used the pools cause Of timing and the kiddie pool was on the other side of the hotel so it was not worth it to us to bother using it. I will say since we booked our vacation last minute this was a good find but now that we know what we know WE WONT BE RETURNING THERE DUE TO CLEANLINESS ISSUES! The website makes it appear great BUT YOU WILL FIND OUT OTHERWISE..... anyways good luck to those who ignore THESE WARNINGS!"

"We stayed here because the pics looked great and the price was good. We pulled up to the front and we could tell right away that it was not a very nice looking place let alone a so called resort. Even our transportation driver said he didnt know the place cause he never has guests stay there...first bad sign. Check in was ok the staff we ok but many guests and staff arguing throughout our stay. the pool was the only good thing in the place and it was mediocre at best. The rooms stunk the sheets and blankets felt dirty and the room was just not very clean. We made the best of our stay we came to go to the parks so we made good use of our time away from there. The shuttle service is not very reliable and doesnt get you to the parks to almost midday. We ended up renting a car cause the location of the 'resort' was so far away from any food or ammenities that it was the only thing we could do to save the trip from catastraphe. We had a great time but not because of this place in the least. I would never let an enemy let alone a friend stay at this cheap roach motel!!"

"It was an average stay. Pool wasn't open all the time by the room we stayed in, we had to walk to other pool. Internet was only free if you had a laptop or phone with internet capability. "Would stay there again but would do more research into what shuttles they offer. They offer shuttles to disney but they are not frequent. Only one trip in the morning and 2 in the evening. The trip to Universal is $15 return and the is only one trip there and back and they are not at convienent times. The room overall was nice not as big as you'd expect for 5 people but it was clean and fresh towels were delievered daily."

"The price I paid for 30.00 a night was great good location and it was just a place to stay. We spent most of the time in the parks so this was perfect. Buses available to Disney World for free, but you must stay at the park for 12 hours or call a cab for an earlier pick up. $15 per person round trip to Sea World, but parking is only $14 if you have a car. "While it may not be the cleanest place around, if you are just staying there at night and showering, then its perfect! Since my boyfriend and I got our first yearly passes nearly 2 years ago, every trip we have made to Orlando, we have stayed here. It's super cheap (and only charges a $3/night resort fee), so really, it's probably the cheapest hotel in Kissimmee, as all the other resorts have about $10/night resort fees. The pools are clean, it's a safe place, have never had any problems!
The shuttle is kind of a hit or miss. Only 3 miles from Disney and close to... EVERYTHING!!!
I am staying here again this weekend, and would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, safe, clean place to lay their head at night! "
