We only stayed for one night but enjoyed this hotel immensely. The bed was lovely and the position was good for us - close to Duval Street but quiet and peaceful at night. Our room was clean and we didn't have any problem with the longish walk to and from elevators. Staff were very helpful and gave good advice on what to see claw by. We'd have preferred a non-valet parking option but I guess that goes with the Key West territory. Overall, we loved it.

This resort has a great location and a beach which is rare in Key West. Great restaurants and excellent servers! Drinks are expensive! Hotel is near lots of good restaurants and Duvall Street. Bar closes too early for vacationers.

We have stayed at th Casa Marina 4 times and have been happy, but we will probably stay at The Reach from now on. Had a great view from our balcony and liked the sand beach better than the rocky beach at Casa. Seemed quieter and more intimate than Casa. Don't know how vacationers relax in the hotels at the other end of Duval Street!

The Reach is right on the beach, it's own beach. Glorious sand, extra warm sea. Good sunbeds and parasols included in our hotel rate. Very helpful beach staff. You can use their kayaks etc and also book jet skis ($75/ half hour - ouch !!!). The room was very spacious, a great shower room with all the usual extras. The aircon was a little noisy but not to stop you sleeping. Coffee machines are Nepresso so great quality, replenished each day. Room was cleaned very well so no issues there. The Reac... Read more

First of all, I have stayed at The Reach numerous times over the past five years. I have always been very pleased with the service, and overall condition of the hotel. This visit un-fortunately which also happened to be my birthday stay, upset me. For starters, the service on the beach, (the person handing out towels and setting up was wonderful) although the lady bringing drinks and food never asked my boyfriend or I if we needed anything, even after seeing us both on numerous occasions go ... Spent the night with the family at The Reach & had an awesome time. The kids liked the beach and the pool was big enough, we would have liked to explore the pools at Casa Marina but we didn't have time. The beach shore is full of seaweeds but otherwise the water was clean and clear. We will be planning another trip back!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days in May for our 30th wedding anniversary. I found the property to be in a great location, with a nice private beach. The property is going through some renovation, so there were parts of the roof that were missing shingles, and I heard that the 5th floor outdoor seating area was going to be converted, but those things didn't bother us at all. The rooms were clean, the pool was clean, the poolside service was good, and that's really all you can ask for. ... Read more

Restaurant was amazing. The food was incredible and the restaurant staff was great. Wasn't very satisfied otherwise. View was nice from the room. Housekeeping wasn't up to standards. Front desk service was poor. Concierge left me 10 min on hold in room on phone, then 20 min in lobby.

Having never been to Key West before we didn't know what to expect. We loved staying here. Handy for Duval St and Southern most Point as well as other things. Yes it's a long walk up Duval St to the end with bars but we quite enjoyed the walk as well as the shops enroute. The hotel itself was comfortable and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Having booked up almost a year in advance we arrived expecting a sea view room to be promptly checked in and given our key and shown where the lift was. After the long walk the room was ok but the view off the balcony was a Carl park and large fuel tank. On a swift walk back to reception we paid $100 per night upgrade to have a garden view and slightly larger room though still not ocean view as "these were only available on a first come basis with preference given to the hotels website not trave... We booked this hotel expecting an upscale experience. Sadly, that was far from what we experienced. Our room was as expected, but carpets and furniture were stained. Also walkways leading to the rooms were dirty and poorly maintained. The pool and beach area were nicely maintained, though the pool was small. Service was the big issue. The air conditioning in our room stopped working and the front desk repeatedly said it was fixed when it was not. I asked to be moved to a room with working ... Read more

The hotel was nice. We had paid for a room with an ocean view, and you could see the ocean in the distance, past the courtyard and pool. The room was typical. The staff by the pool/beach area were very helpful. The beach was great - no waves. What was really nice about this hotel is the location - only a block from Duval Street. Close enough to be within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. You do have to pay for parking - about $30 a night.

Nice location, impeccable service, quality food - great place to stay in Key West! Would've loved to adjust the thermostat in our room lower for good sleep, but I guess traveling to Key West in June has disadvantages! We will return to this resort (but not during the summer).

I am not a picky person when it comes to hotel stays, however I wanted to share my experience for others who may be. I was upgraded at check-in but this was due to me being asked when I reserved the room whether I would be interested in upgrading. I thought it would be done free as a Hilton Honors Gold member. Choosing a hotel in a city you've never been to is hard. Our first visit to the Keys for July 1 through 4th of July was wonderful because of this hotel! We were close enough to Duval and Southern Most Pointe - Hemingway House but far enough away from the crowds. It had enough beach and activities for our teens. The concierge was helpful in getting a jet ski tour scheduled with Barefoot Billy's (Troy was our fun guide) and a sunset cruise on The Footloose (Cap'n Justin and 1st mate Cameron) .We rented a scooter over by the Cuban Cafe and it was the perfect mode of transportation for the week. Way too expensive. I stayed at the Hilton in FLL and had an entirely different experience. It was phenomenal and a fraction of the price! I spent 1200.00 on dinner at the beach, told numerous employees I was unhappy and nothing was done to make it better. Waldorf, never ever again.

Waldorf properties should be the crown jewels of Hilton, and The Reach at Key West falls far below. Hotel needs a good renovation: furniture, bathrooms, fixtures, are like from 1980s. Getting an awkwardly positioned room despite the half a grand / night price tag did not help form a positive opinion either. Shower area is downright gross, so you want to use flip flops. Furthermore, sitting area furniture has stains from food and good knows what. A good deep cleaning can help alleviate the s... Read more

The hotel was nice (not worth the price in my opinion - but nice) Staff was excellent - Josh (on the beach) was top shelf. Food was excellent - the issue that I have that stopped me from rating it higher is that I went there with the intent of hearing the ocean. My 1st day on the beach was nice until one of the guests decided to play his radio - then another guest - which resulted in radio wars. If I wanted to listen to the radio I would have stayed home. There are 2 Waldorfs (Casa Marina and The Reach) in Key West within walk distance of each other. Both at near the Southernmost part of US, about 90 north of Cuba. Sunset cruises, snorkeling and other sports are available for a fee. We stayed at the quieter and smaller Waldorf, the Reach, which has a private beach. The Casa Marina has two large pools, one is a kids pool, and has kids activities. We were given an upgraded room. Being a Waldorf, we received outstanding service.

Overall our stay at The Reach Resort has been pleasant, with a lovely private beach (which never got too busy/overcrowded) and a nice pool. Aside from that, the room was not a sufficient size for four people, with no where to put your clothes and a dusty AC unit. Throughout the night, the AC constantly went on and off, which was a very noisy, unpleasant experience. The parking was very overpriced and we hadn't been informed of the price before arrival, so we were rather taken aback. The bathro... Read more

The Reach was a great stay for the last few days. Friendly staff, big rooms, comfy beds. We ate at Spencer's a few times. Breakfast is definitely overpriced which is crazy since eggs and potatoes are the cheapest item for a restaurant (omelettes are $18+ ) Lunch menu and pricing were more on point and was great. Recommend the crab cake sandwich and fries. Happy hour by the pool bar was also great. Would recommend for families and friends.
