I absolutely loved this hotel. Our room was spacious and had a great view overlooking the pool. The carpet probably could be replaced but it didn't deter from my experience. The pool is awesome and huge for Key West standards. The concierge was so helpful and even arranged for us to have scooters one day delivered to the hotel for us. Everyone who works there was so kind. I can't wait to go back and bring my kids next time!

Booked through our travel agent as a package with airfare. I noted some of the reviews had some less than favorable comments in some areas. Here are my observations. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive. On check in the young lady at the desk was less than enthusiastic but that was the only time we saw herring our weeks stay. Everyone else was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. Everything was there and everything worked. The pool area is stunning. The bartend... Read more

We stayed 3 weeks in 2015 & 2 weeks in April 2016. There have been some nice new beds the whole inn. There has been some hiccups with a changing staff but I saw improvements by the end of our stay. I was upset when we checked out that there was a $30 resort fee per day add on. last year it was $10. The internet is too slow to stream anything. The internet was given as a excuse because people were sharing the passwords with other people. When I think of a resort I think of activities such as tenn... Read more

The Inn is located as you get to Key West. The main lobby area is inviting. As we drove around to the back of the hotel the exterior had areas which could be refurbished. The room it self was nice and clean. Beware of the $4.50 bottled water that is out for the taking. While the hotel itself is away from the main activates, it take less than 10 minutes (driving) to get to the heart of the city. While the hotel itself was good, the pool area is second to none in Key West. It feels like a tr... Read more

Decent/nice hotel with a handful of kinks. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that this was a very cute/quaint hotel. It's truly lovely and gives off that "relaxing" Keys vibe. It's small and that's a good thing, because it keeps it quiet. The lobby is really nice and check-in was a breeze. When we walked into the room, it was pretty standard. Seemed clean and comfortable and worked just fine for us. We enjoyed it for the most part. The pool area was nice and relaxing, and sometimes you'll... Read more

We´ve stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was the cheapest you could find at Key West but it was ok. The rooms are not really new but I think it`s ok. You do not spend much time there so it´s fine. The pool and the pool area is really great (they have a hot tub as well)!!! And you can meet some friendly animals there ;-) Breakfast was not included so we bought something the day before and ate at our room.... The cleaning staff is not very friendly :-/

Very nice motel/resort type accomodation. Some of the rooms have water views. We were initially put into a room which overlooked the pool, but asked to change and this was done efficiently. The room has 2 queen beds, desk and chair, fridge and enough room for suitcases. The air con is deliciously cold, much needed with 31deg C outside. The pool is really large, with cabanas and lots of seating surrounding, all in a lovely tropical garden. They serve breakfast and also have a limited me... Read more

I picked The Inn at Key West because they offered parking. Most places in Key West have very limited parking spaces and you may end up parking blocks away from your lodging. I upgraded my king sized bed room to include a balcony and a view of the ocean and spent $377.25/night during the high season rates. (April 2016). At that rate, I stayed 2 nights! The staff was hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly. Check in and out was smooth. Breakfast starts at 730am and costs $10.95. I went next door... Read more

This was one of the finest hotels that I have stayed at in the USA.I plan on booking the same room again for 2-3 weeks in July and August. It was close to the night life, their Tiki Bar and pool were the greatest, the employees are excellent and the roosters and Iguanas made my stay well worth another trip, I would like to live there.

The room was a 2nd floor room with a balcony. The problem was that the A/C couldn't keep up with the heat. Between 1pm and 6pm the room was uncomfortable with the A/C wide open all the time. We kept the A/C on high all night so it could try to keep up during the day and we just made it a point to be somewhere else when we knew the room would be uncomfortable. I'm sure The Inn plans to resurface the pool, which is showing signs of wear in places, during the slower fall season. At least on this holiday weekend, the large pool was full of children and celebrating adults, so if you plan to swim a few laps for exercise, get there before 10 or so. The Inn has succeeded in making the pool area into a lush tropical grotto with several varieties of palm trees and a rocky waterfall. While not as large as the pictures on the web site suggest, at least a hundre... Read more

I just got back from a trip to Key West. I decided to stay at this hotel because of a Groupon. The facility is okay but the pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. It makes it look like it's across the street from a beach which it is not. It is across from the water but you can only fish there and you would need to cross a very busy street to get there. We took our first adult getaway without kids ever to Key West and stayed at the Inn. Pool was amazing- nice and large, not crowded and clean. On busy nights, there really needs to be more than one pool-side bartender. Worst place I've ever stayed In! I'll start by saying that calling this a hotel is a big stretch. It has many of the qualities of a motel, including the busted in doors that hadnt been replaced and the rooms facing the street so you can hear rhe beautiful sound of motorcylces backfiring. The Rooms smell musty and are really damp, as in you can see condensation on wardrobe's, Windows etc. My bedclothes were also dirty and stained. Extremely overpriced, a small glass of orange juice cost $4. They'... Read more

It was a last minute anniversary and birthday gateway and it was wonderful. The hotel was perfect. The food and drinks are amazing and we will be back and plan to stay here. The room was clean, the bed was amazing and the staff was very helpful.

The pool area was beautiful, however, we reported the phone not working when we checked in and were told they would fix it but they didn't. Worse than that, the toilet backed up and they never came to the room. We were given a plunger to plunge the toilet. We kept the plunger for the two day we stayed but only used the bathroom by the pool to avoid further problems. I cannot recommend The Inn at Key West.

This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in, a little expensive but they made up for it by giving us room credits. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotless and beautiful we had our own little private garden which is a first for us. The pool was beautiful and even had a resident chicken. We were staying here on our road trip to Florida Keys from Scotland to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and this made our trip very special. We are so glad we decided to stop ... Read more

The rooms were spacious and clean. We got a room with groupon so the price was excellent. The pool are is first class, beautifully landscaped. It's far from Duvall street though and there is no continental breakfast. They do have a buffet for $12. Looked great, but we walked to IHOP. Also there are no microwaves in the room, though there was a fridge and coffee pot. It is right across from the ocean and a nice stroll along the water front.

great place to stay,we were in room 101,very nice, great pool, and staff stayed here before and will be coming back. The room was facing Roosevelt blvd, that is the front of the inn, with the ac on, we did not hear any street noise. It is a short drive, about 10 min to Duval St, Mallory Square, and to Ft Zachary Taylor State Park.

We stayed 5 days here, during the Fantasy Festival. The Inn was clean, no bed bugs & staff very helpful. There is Not a shuttle, so taxi is 2ND best. Taxi will cost approximately $20(includes tip) each way. We rented bikes from the Inn. Great way to get around. It is appropriately 3.5 miles to Duvall St. If you want to spend a lot of time downtown, you should pick another hotel. You must take the Seaplane tour to the Dry Tortuous Nat'L Park. $613 for 2 people. Each night we had a nite cap... Read more

This review might have some sentimental connection so be aware! I had always gone to Key West for one day only and it wasn't the most amazing thing to do... but since I stayed for three days on the Key I just fell in love with everything here!!! It is a great place to relax and enjoy the beach, this hotel could be a perfect option, nothing is pretty far away on the Key so don't worry about location... the staff here is pretty friendly and they can help you with all your questions about what to ... Although a distance from the main tourist drag, I love this place. Fantastic pool area makes you feel as though you're in a tropical paradise...well, you are! Room was very clean, a bit dated, big balcony with view of the water, but facing a busy street. Great for the price.

We enjoyed everything about our three night stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool was exceptional. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially Jenna at the front desk. The only service that would make it better would be a shuttle to the downtown area.

The Hotel was clean and tidy, the pool and sun beds were plenty. The only Negative I have is the actual distance to the Old Town, actually feel the hotel should have shuttle bus service at certain times of the day.

This place was a dump!! For $260 per night I was horrified! I would have much rather stayed at a Best Western. Folks do not be fooled with the glamorous pictures. This place is so in need of refurbishing. The mildew is awful and so is housekeeping. make sure you read what that $30 per day resort fee is for if you are looking for a good laugh! We will never go back to Key West!

Heard about your pool and tiki bar from some friends so we went by to check it out, pool was amazing and the tiki bar was fantastic! Had a good time sitting at the bar chatting to Sharla, she seems to know a lot about the island and her drinks are awesome! She is so friendly and made sure everybody had a good time! We will definitely be back thanks again Sharla! Alex & Cindy!

The pool is perfect seclusion. Love the staff, the room, the bed, and the atmosphere (they've got a crowing rooster in the mornings. I think he scheduled for the "America's Got Talent" TV show in the coming weeks. By the way, the concierge was extremely helpful.

I think its great for $130 a night. The room was beautiful, bed was comfortable, we didnt have an amazing view but regardless you can just walk outside and see the water right in front of you and not all the hotels have where anybody can have "a view". its in a good spot, next to bike rentals, sears, T.J. Maxx, jet skiis, restaurants, only a few minutes from downtown, breakfast was 10.99 i believe, but there was so many options like eggs, busicuits, sausage, bacon, pancakes, coffee, everything!... Stayed here for a weekend, although 3 miles from Duval street, the location is actually really good. Next door to an IHOP, also Publix, and scooter rental place. The pool is great with a bar, tv's, and shade on the pool from trees. Staff is nice, breakfast buffet is worth the price. The rooms are fantastic, fridge, nice mattresses and pillows, and good cable tv selection. I didn't have a microwave, but you can try to request one if needed. I would stay here again, it was a good bang for the ... Read more

First thing to notice as soon as you check in, is the pool party and bars. Little high budget, but overall good experience to stay just across ocean drive. Love the place, quite relaxing. IHOP across the hotel for breakfast. Comfortable beds, clean accommodation. Overall worth every penny.,

Stayed 2 nights. First impressions very nice. Friendly staff. Lovely lush gardens and beautiful pool setting although pool water temp was too cold. Young child in diaper in hot tub both nights. Not sanitary. Open air Tiki style pool bar and bar food served. Room nicely decorated. Clean and comfortable but our desk lamp was burned out when we checked in and bulb not replaced when brought to their attention. Pillows not up to expectation. King size foam but not comfortable for me. Did not have a ... Read more

The hotel is located a few miles away from all the excitement on Duval Street and Mallory Square but I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Key West. The hotel was clean, modern and well furnished. There was a beautiful private patio to sit and relax while at the hotel. Complimentary rum drink for each of us was a nice touch and good customer service. All the staff that we dealt with were courteous and professional.

I was booked into a room. As I arrived the door was open and maintenance was still working on it. Notified the front desk and the girl was very professional and accommodating and gave me a free upgrade. The room was very nice along with the rest of the hotel. Price wasn't to bad either. Nice place and staff!

It's a nice place, about 3-4 miles from the Duval St/Mallory Square tourist area. So, it's easy to get to those things, while being far enough away to not have to deal with the crowds and noise when you're done with it. Look into the bike rental from the concierge. Key West is easy to ride, not so easy to drive. They have a breakfast buffet. Pretty standard stuff, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, etc. Didn't try the restaurant for other meals. The bar/pool area is nice. Music in... Read more

I'm surprised to hear of some of the negative experience from travellers' ratings. I guess I'm just lucky. Staff were very nice. Pool was nice. Bed was comfy. My room wasn't noisy maybe because it was second floor facing the pool. It the streets.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean and decorated with a Key West motif designed by Tommy Bahama. Check in was quick and easy and a concierge was on duty to answer all of our questions. There is also a poolside bar and hearty breakfast buffet. You are several miles from the famous Duval Street but taxi service is both rapid and inexpensive.

Stayed for two nights and got a room on the ground level, except from the noisy AC you could also here everything that was going on outside the room (including people speaking). The door didn't close properly (at least able to look), keys stopped working in the second day. Location is far away from everything you might wanna do, close to IHOP and publix at least. The pool area are nice, a bit cold in the water but big and nice pool. If you just want to hang out by the pool all day the hotel wi... Read more

Had to do some business in key west, got booked at the Inn. Quiet, clean and easy to rest. The pillows were awesome, but the bathroom could use a little fix me up. all in all, worth the money. fun fact, i was awakened every morning by the on site rooster.
