Beautiful complex, great location with 3 nice pools, 4 bars, & a restaurant but is pricey. This is our 3rd stay and I was a bit disappointed with the service. The staff was exceptional on our past two visits, the last one was 2 years ago, but this time they were average to good. Considering how much we paid to stay here I expected to be wow'd. We were merely satisfied.

This place is covered Outdoors. Very good breakfast. Good service and reasonable compared to other close by restaurants. Eggs Benedict is very good. We are there twice in a row. It has a great beach view.

A beautiful resort away from the hustle and bustle of Duvall yet convenient enough to go enjoy a night on the town. A beautiful beach, tanning pier, 3 pools, and 4 bars make this an ideal vacation spot. The hotel rooms were spacious and well decorated. The rooms and food were a little pricey but the overall vacation experience made it worth it.

This was our second stay. We were a little disappointed in our ocean view room, as it felt smaller and more cramped than the partial view room we had last time, but still very nice and love the location and resort grounds!

Came down for the 20th Annual Hacker's Golf Trip with family and friends. Had a great time at the beach, pool, and the local golf course. The weather was perfect and The Southern Most Resort was everything I hoped it would be. Look forward to returning in the near future.

We had to change our vacation dates and couldn't add a night to our original hotel. Room was small and older but had everything you needed. They really thought about their guests. Like full size shampoo and conditioner bottles. Also, electrical plugs at your bedside so your not trying to move furniture to plug in your phone. Customer service was excellent. Compared to Casa Marina the customer service is way better but wasn't as nice. Also, lots of restaurants walking distance to this hotel... Read more

I just got back from a trip to the southern most yesterday. This and the westin seem to be the only place to stay in key west. Property is away from the busy bars but close enough to walk to everything. Pool was a good size but the water was merky and never seemed to be kept, we used it though because of the intense heat. They do have live music and that was cool and relaxing Go early and claim a chair as it does get very busy in the afternoon. Rooms were on the smaller side and average but beca... Read more

My room was spacious, neat & I was glad to say, it had no smell of mildew. The room had a small fridge, a safe, free water bottles, an iron & board, a blow dryer and a small deck with a table & two chairs. For a first time visit to Key West this was an amazing resort. It was in a very swanky area and had so much happening at the resort. The concierge was fantastic as well as everyone who worked there. Highly recommend the wine tasting- Mike was phenomenal. Would 100% stay here again- and got a nice honeymoon upgrade ???

We specifically reserved a few nights at this resort solely because of the location (and good tripadvisor reviews, of course) - one of a handful in Key West with an actual beach. The resort is very nice but like everyplace in Key West, it felt a little cramped. The rooms were beautiful, and newly furnished but a bit small. Still, more than adequate for two. Bathroom was high end, beautiful. Beds and A/C were average. There were three pools spread out on the resort property, one being a 'serenity... Read more

Visited for our honeymoon and stayed for 4 nights. Great property. Definitely felt safe at all times. Staff was very pleasant - you can tell they emphasize that customer experience. In spite of the pool outside our room, we only had one day where the music became disruptive - and that was due to a live performer. Have stayed at other places in Key West, and have to say that the interaction with all staff here was the best though - they were friendly, without feeling pushy.

I really loved the property , it was beautiful, quiet and took me to another place. The location is perfect at the end of duval seconds from all the action yet peaceful.. The only downfall was the private beach , although it is clean and perfectly situated the water was not clear at all. Obviously the hotel has no control over the ocean conditions.. i just wish it was a little more crystal but the pools make up for the crummy ocean water. Great hotel and worth the extra money to upgrade to La Mer B&B as it provides a much more tranquil environment away from the noise of the larger resort. Make sure you try the restaurant on the beach as the food is fantastic, not just a beach bar as we initially assumed.

The old expression of " you get what you pay for" applies to this place. A little more expensive than some hotels in Key West, but soooooo worth it!! The rooms, beds and bathroom are amazing! Balcony's overlooking the gardens and ocean views, pool with plenty of chairs, private beach, bar by pool and beach, hammocks....I could go on and on. The hotel staff waits on your every wish. The room was a good size, bed very comfortable, and the AC worked extremely well. The actual grounds of the hotel left something to be desired. I felt that the website and information of the resort was misleading I have stayed at several resorts and to call this a resort is a stretch. The amenities were lacking and everything on clo... I really enjoyed this hotel but my back is regretting it a little bit because the mattress was so hard. aside from that, great stay. there were a couple rude bartenders but we found a nice one by the beach (thank you, anna!). we will be back, but hopefully they'll update their beds by then.

I have just arrived home from Key West, Florida, and it was a great trip. This hotel is pretty nice and comfy. The rooms are in well condition, a bit overpriced but worth at the end. If you are one of those who hate to leave you mascot behind, you will love this place, pets are welcome. There is plenty parking space for guests, it has a 20 buks fee per day just to leave your car rest there. The hotel have three pools, two of them are for general public, one of them "Tranquility Pool" is for adul... Read more

Beautiful resort! Classy, elegant, old world charm. Lush tropical trees growing up around the balconies gives a sense of privacy. Smoking isn't permitted on the balconies so if you are a nonsmoker you can enjoy your balcony without being bothered by your neighbors smoke. Pricey, but what isn't in the keys. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean! Just around the corner from Duvall St.

My husband and I just got back from a few days here. The hotel is nicely located at the quiet end of Duval. There is a public beach adjacent to the hotel, but it's rocky and has a great deal of seaweed. (As I hear is true of most Key West beaches.)You need to swim out far past and the water stays shallow. The hotel was okay. The rooms were a little small for the price, but the view was lovely. We don't get to go away alone often as we have young children, so when we do, I appreciate the fine det... Just came back from 4 nights here - the property was very nice, rooms well appointed, beds comfy and staff wonderful. We stayed in building D, had reserved a balcony king and ended up with a balcony overlooking the parkiing lot. If we had asked for a room in the 600s in that building we might have gotten a bit of an ocean view. The hotel is wonderfully located at the quiet end of Duvall around the corner from the Southernmost Point buoy (it is amazing how many people are lined up for pics there... Read more

The bartenders at the shore bar were crabby and I felt like asking for a drink was an imposition. Thank God we found the Sand Bar.... Ana was amazing... I was here two weeks ago and she was just as amazing.... You need more people like her at the shore bar...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Southernmost Beach Resort earlier this week and absolutely loved it. It all started when Cory checked us in. When she found out it was my boyfriend's first time in the Keys, she made sure we had the best room with a balcony and gave us a free drinks voucher. She wanted to make sure we had a good experience in the keys and the resort itself. When we got to the room, it was very clean and had an amazing view from the balcony. There are 3 pools on the property... Read more

We loved the location and ambiance of this hotel. Be mindful however, they are all not ocean view or front rooms and there are many different locations to this hotel. My friend and I went to get away and forget our day to day and that's exactly what we got. The staff here welcomes you as family would. EJ at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed and gave us plenty of area ideas for fun, food and play. We rented bikes and safely tootled around this quaint town day and night. John ... My husband and I came to Key West for a quick get away. Southernmost resort was exactly what we needed. We stayed in the cottages that are adult only and we found the staff to be very attentive. The rooms were lovely and we had the best breakfasts ever.

This is a nice hotel at the opposite end of all the restaurants, bars and shops - but still in walking distance. They have a couple of pools including an adult only pool which is really too small to swim laps in - but nice for relaxing. They also have a beach - not common in Key West. Rooms are a decent size and we opted for one with a balcony and partial ocean view. We ate a the restaurant the first night and it was quite good. I would recommend this hotel if you want to stay somewhat off t... Read more

Great Key West location. Southernmost takes up several blocks of hotels and Inns making it one of the largest properties. The location is ideal being a quiet beachside option while walking distance to Duval Street. Shores pool bar offered great daily specials and friendly staff. The hotel is pricey averaging $400+ per night with additional parking fees, resort fees, etc. The beach is public and the water is murky. I would recommend just staying at the pool. We had problems with the showe... Read more

We could not have had a more blessed, relaxing and welcoming stay here at Southernmost. From the moment they upgraded our room for our Honeymoon vacation we knew we were in for a treat. The complimentary food, their staff, and commodities created nothing short of a dream come true in paradise. If you are looking for a clean, safe and comfortable resort in Key West, Southernmost is it.

At the time we visited, this hotel was the only newly built hotel in Key West. This modern decorated hotel was clean and it's location perfect. The staff is very friendly. Loved that they had bikes available to rent for small fee. Pool was small, but clean and the live music during happy hour made it more enjoyable.

Great location staff was very helpful very close to good shopping and great restaurants I would highly recommend Southernmost Resort to anyone else coming to Key West. Our flight was cancelled and the resort accommodated by holding our luggage and allowed us to use the pool for a couple of extra hours at no extra charge.

We generally liked oour stay. The resort is spread out and it takes a bit to get familiar with how to get around. Guest services were always very helpful. Taking the local trollys was easy and there is a lot to do within walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby with dwelicious fresh seafood.

Great place to stay on the quiet end of Duval street. We stayed on the ocean side and our friends stayed on the Duval street side. The ocean view was nice but I wouldn't say the extra cost was worth it. The rooms were very clean, a/c worked great, comfy beds, great daily housekeeping (we had Yousipia), coffee and refrigerator in the room, lots of bedside outlets and USB ports. We used both concierges Jules and Bryan. They were both extremely helpful!!! I highly recommend renting bicycles for you... Read more

The rooms were nicely appointed, clean, roomy and bright. The staff were all wonderful, especially Joanne. She was amazing! We thank her for pulling out all stops and getting us these awesome rooms. Great facilities and ambiance. A lot of variety for different types of personalities and needs. Really appreciated the full-day access to the facilities after check-out. Although swimming beaches are not expected in Key West, the hotel actually has a small sandy beach for an ocean dip. We lucked out on a late reservation and got a great room rate for one night.

Loved this property! One of the few in Key West with beach access and even a private beach. Several onsite restaurants and bars with friendly staff like Bill to entertain at Happy Hour. Resort at the quiet end of Duval Street so it was secluded but still had walking access to the bars and nightlife. The perfect balance.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable. One exceptionally rude and inhospitable staff member that works check in/check out who is a moderately set 40-50yo Caucasian woman with dark brown hair. She was rude to all guests she encountered. Should not be in hospitality..she is not gifted in that area. She left a sour taste in my mouth concerning this property despite the property itself and the remaining guests being kind and helpful.

We highly recommend a vacation at this property. We belong to a high end timeshare, and although this was not a trade, we had a great time at this resort. Property was clean and upscale, service was outstanding and the location could not have been better. Wish we could have stayed longer than 6 days. Bar staff at S beach cafe bar was very courteous, friendly and professional.
