"The hotel was nice, very nice. Went down for a wedding. We were right across the street from the beach which was a bonus. Staff was friendly, they allow pets which I didn't know if you are allergic to dog dander,hairs, etc. Some folks liked to throw trash in front of your door. I would recommend this hotel and I am going again next year."

"Most of the staff was friendly.The Bartender while I was there was not that friendly to us or other customers, and I don't go to the bar that often. Acted like doing her job was an inconvenience to her. Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 and room was not available until after 4:00 with no one giving me a courtesy call to tell me room was finally available.Other than the rude bartender and not being able to check-in on time everything else was fairly nice. The beach across the road is not a white sand beach, it has a lot of sea weed. We only visited this beach once and do not recommend it, we looked for a better beach. I would consider returning to this hotel again."

"Good bedding. Nice granite in bathroom & kitchenette. Bathroom sink/mirror/dressing area separate from shower/tub and toilet area. Sliding doors to separate all rooms--nice feature. 2 TVs. Sofa, woodwork showing wear. No balcony (although area is available) for double queen suite we were located in. Exterior stairwell and parking area not very clean. Nice pool and deck. Good location in Key West; across from Smather's beach although beach was dirty and water not clear (Jun 2012). Staff very friendly except concierge the afternoon we checked in (Jun 9) seemed rude and not interested in helping."

"This hotel was perfect for our budget. It was very very clean. The staff was pleasant. The pool is small, but clean and great hot tub. This is not a place you stay at if you want to meet people or hang out at the pool bar. But is great for that if you come in a big group and what not.

The only problem is it is far from everything on Duval and the harbor but the hotel makes up for that by offering the free shuttle. The shuttle hours were perfect. The only time we paid for a cab was after the bars closed.

Great hotel just not a great location, but free shuttle so its not bad at all!"

"Court yard suite is so far from elevator, its quite a walk to your room.. Do not let you check in till 4:00 PM , but let you change in a bathroom to use the pool. Beach is across the street. The shuttle runs on the hour to Duvall Street, must make reservation at the desk and they give you a ticket, its free. We drove the next day and found parking at Mallory Square for $4.00. See the sunset at Mallory Square, ate at Blue Heaven which was fun they have chickens running around so eat outdoors, right by the Hemmingway house. The best key lime pie is at Blue Heaven, $8.00 a slice."
