We were so disappointed in our room at Bayside Inn. While the bed was comfortable and the linens clean, the furniture was so dirty and dated, we didn't dare sit on it. The carpet looked very old and questionable and the kitchen facilities were rusted. This place needs a total remodel and I recommend not considering it until that is done. Honestly, I've never stayed in such a dump.

Pros: spacious suite (we stayed in a king ocean view suite with extra pullout sofa): both living room and kitchen were large and spacious, plenty of towels. Cons: in-suite washer and drier were out of order, and the hotel didn't bother to fix it, and since there were 3 of us and were staying there for several days, we needed to wash our clothes. Hotel is outdated, rusty fridge, etc. Location is far from perfect, - it was our very first time visiting Key West, and we didn't know how much location... Read more

The hotel is a little run down and out of the way. The hotel and rooms look nothing like the web site. The room we had was clean for the most part, the king size bed was comfortable but the room is definitely not what was advertised on their web site. No cabinet doors on the kitchen cabinets. Refrigerater not clean and bathroom floors weren't very clean. You can get to Duvall Street by taxi for 5.00 a person which I thought was reasonable. Would not stay there again.

The room is small and smelly (cigarette smell in a non-smoke room). When we checked out, a customer in front of us was complaining about the smell of his room, so I think it is a prevalent issue here. The free instant coffee in the room was the worst coffee I've ever had. Most important of all, the free internet has no signal at all!!! The front desk representative is not friendly either. The pros of the hotel is free breakfast, and the location is convenient. But it does not worth 240.

The suite we got was overpriced, it was very old and dirty, and many lights were not working. The bathroom exhaust sound was too loud, and most of the furniture, carpet and floors were really dirty in our suite. We were forced to wear slippers all the time due to the dirt. Also there was a poor supply of towels and blankets/extra sheets. The breakfast area was small, not the most inviting place, and the choices were limited. The suite definitely needs some renovation. The only advantage to this ... Read more

The photo's for their website must be about 10 years old, because our room looked nothing like it. Should of known when we drove up and the front sign had wind damage. We choose this hotel due to availability and the discount we received from the Key West Express. We also rented a scooter so the distance was not an issue. Room was clean with a little grime and mold that is typical of most places by the sea in Florida, however there was quite a bit of rust around the lighting fixtures, and the m... Read more

We had more then a room, it was a small apartment. Full size kitchen with a dishwasher, living room, bedroom and a large bathroom. Balconies off both the living and bedrooms with great views of the gulf. Amenities include covered parking, elevator, hot tub and outside pool. The hotel is located at the north end of the island which is less crowded but still within easy driving distance of the older part of town.

Dated room, but great bed. Nice location--we are spending a couple nights here on our way to Key West. We are a group of four, we are having a good time, other groups seem to be having fun too. Beach and pool are what we are here for, and so we're happy. Got this rim with points, but probably wouldn't stay if I was paying out of pocket.

Ignore the negative reviews of this place, This entire island is only 3 miles x 4miles big, so there is no such thing as "too far from" anything at all. And as for some of these other people, If you came there expecting sandals resort for best western prices, then that's your fault for living in an altered state of reality and delusions of grandeur. The real life is not like what you see on TV. OK, off my soapbox. To start off, we reserved a one bedroom with full kitchen. We were not expecting ... Read more

We stayed in a king suite (one bedroom with pull out bed) for one night during Fantasy Fest. The location is away from Duval street however parking was free and taxis were easy to come by. My group of four was very comfortable. The living room was large and the toilet and shower were in a separate room from the sink, which is perfect for a group situation. The mirror and sink counter was huge; also perfect for four girls getting ready.
