I'm not sure what the suites are like but We had a $135 a night room on the back side of the hotel overlooking a parking lot and neighborhood. It was tiny and jammed into a corner of the hotel. The elevator had to be one of the slowest I've ever seen. The continental breakfast was mediocre. I think they could have done better for the price.

This was the biggest place we have ever stayed at!! 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite! Full kitchen, dishwasher, fridge, over, microwave, washer & dryer, etc. Well worth the price! Gosh 5 nights for 4 people in the giant suite was under $900! We had bay view & city view, but seriously, who goes to for the room view when you can just go anywhere within a few miles & see all of Key West?! Pool was nice, we even had a chance to feed the local iguanas some bananas while out at the pool! It... Read more

My family and I (4 of us total) just stayed here for our weekend in Key West. We had a 3 bedroom king size suite room 412 and it was the best value for the money in the entire area! You couldn't have asked for more space. The kitchen was falling apart and the shower wasn't the greatest, but otherwise it totally works! We didn't spend much time there at all, but the beds were very comfortable and we all got our own beds! Would definitely recommend to a large family!

Staye here for 2 nights in may 2016. They had refrigerated trucks parked on the hotel parking with generators making noise all night. We reported this to the hotel staff but they where not helpfull at all. An apologize was even too much. Never again!

Everything you'd want in a suite. Bedroom with private balcony doors, living area with its own set of doors to the balcony. An off room bathroom, two separate closets, full functioning kitchen, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. Lastly, a view of the bay is awesome.

We payed 195$ for one night and it was not worth the price at all. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close properly unless you lifted it up. The keys would not work on the door 90% of the time. The room was cramped and was located on the backside of a hotel overlooking some dumpsters and a rundown residential neighborhood. The linen was damp when we went to lay in the bed. Definitely would not stay here again. The pool and hottub were nice but definitely not worth the money overall.

Caveat - this review is of a room not a suite The room was described as a standard 'Queen Room' in which case they should raise their standards! For $200/night, we were assigned Room 109 - across from the elevator, a view of the outside hallway. The slats in the window coverings were broken, the A/C was very loud and the room was disgusting! The carpet was so dirty that if one walked on it with bare feet then stepped into a shower the dirt literally ran off your feet. The room was damp and ... Read more

Really clean, awesome view, bit dated and far from downtown ... other that that, perfect. Pristine pool, huge apartment like rooms ours had even washer and dryer in the room, full kitchen and utensils. Like having a vacation home!

The staff and suite were excellent ! The price was very reasonable . It is a condo with living room, full kitchen , washer dryer. Large bathroom and a separate bedroom. It even had a desk area separate . Wonderful view on the large deck overlooking the water. Breakfast included and parking ! Stayed here twice and will return again.

The one bedroom suite with pull out sofabed was amazing. All that we could ask for and more. Beautiful and well furnished. The only suggestion that I have is updating the sofa in the pull out... It was a little rough, other than that, it made our trip exceptional. I like to read the negative reviews more than the positive as it gives warnings. I have to say that I agree with the manager comments.. Specifically that you get what you pay for, if you go cheap, the room will be cheap.. The pool was ... Read more

Nice, clean hotel in a good location. The location of the hotel is not far from the main streets of key west. It is about 10-15 mins on a bike to Duval street It is right next to the sea and depending on your room you might get a sea view. Where they serve breakfast that looks out to the sea. Breakfast is good, has main things such as waffles, bagels, cereals, yogurts and fruit. Breakfast can be really busy and you might struggle for a table but it's still good. Rooms are nice and it's quiet on ... Read more

I'm a local of the Keys (live up the keys a bit) and when my boyfriend came down to Key West for the weekend, I wanted to take him to Duval St. for a night out. I decided to look into hotels in Key West knowing that they are usually expensive and wasn't going to be hopeful. I found The Bayside Inn for around 150$ with a Florida Discount. I took a chance on it, having read the reviews on different websites, I was a little hesitant, I even looked into changing hotels last minute. I was set to chec... Read more

I booked the room a month in advance, for two nights. This hotel is the epitome of "you get what you pay for". When we got there, the outside of the building pretty much looked like the pics. However, the room itself was a complete other situation. The elevator to go upstairs does not have ac, and is faulty; it completely skipped my selected floor and took me up to the top floor instead. It also stopped between floors momentarily. So make sure that you have a cell on you in case the elevator ge... Read more

We reserved a 3 bedroom suite to accommodate our family. The suite was very clean and the housekeeping staff friendly and attentive. For the money, this was a good value and find. However, the suite needs a facelift and we understand that is happening this summer. Overall, I would recommend the hotel but if you go in the next couple of months do expect that the furnishings need refurbishing

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites. We stayed for one night only but the room was very spacious and just right for a family of 4. The beds were very comfortable and we slept peacefully as the hotel was quiet. The reason I rated the hotel 4 out of 5 is because I smelt a stench of urine in the bathroom when I walked in (I was the very first to walk in the bathroom) so the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned and the carpet could use a light shampooing. When I walked on the... Read more

Among the first thing I experienced was the rude clerk behind the desk, He gave us the wrong room for beginners and immediately noticed that it was not the same room we bought through booking.com, we went back and spent 10 minutes trying to convince the clerk that it was not our room, after scouring through our email we found proof that it was not indeed our room and finally gave us the new keys, here is the kicker. the new room we STILL not the room we bought through booking.com... it was suppo... I stayed at this hotel for a few hours since my original hotel could not extend my stay considering I had 6 hours until my flight left. I got a basic room, nothing special but that is all I needed. I used the pool which is a nice size. The rooms had everything I needed. However there are bigger room which are suites with full kitchen that is super comfortable. This hotel is centrally located, very close to the beach and airport. It needs some cosmetic upkeep but overall it's a comfortable hotel.... Read more

This might be one of the cheapest places in Key West, but take our advice and spend the extra money to stay somewhere other than The Bayside Inn & Suites. We booked a room for 5 nights, but ended up in 3 different rooms. The first room was INFESTED with TERMITES !!! We have never seen termites before, but we learned a lot after staying here. They start out as maggots, then they develop wings, then they shed their wings, and lastly they are adult termites... And they multiply EXTREMELY FAST. They... Read more

My kids thought it was great for size. We had a suite but it was DIRTY. Floors were gross! Black feet after walking around barefoot. Needs a desperate updating. Cabinets and things not working and falling apart. My son said a roach ran across his leg in middle of night and we found pube on sheets. House keeping skipped our room one of the 3 days. Elevator small and no AC. However the lady at desk was accommodating and friendly. We came to keys NOT to spend time in room so it was good to shower a... Read more

This hotel/motel was not clean. A few roaches in our room. Also it was not in the downtown area. We spent a lot of money on taxis. If you go to Key West, spend the extra money for a room that is more centrally located. The manger, did give us a 50% discount on our room charges.

Definitely not what I had expected. Tiny room. I guess if you don't splurge on a suite, the alternative is a walk in closet. But at the end of the day it had everything we needed, and only needed it for 1 night. The rest of our time was spent in Marathon. This hotel offers the basic amenities i.e. pool, free breakfast, elevator, free parking, tv, coffee machine, closet, iron, hair dryer, ect. Very basic. I definitely will go back and try to check into a suite. Only 4 stars due to the price. Cha... Read more

This place is good for Key West prices and it comes with breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and the place was clean although it could use some freshening up. The elevator is a bit slow, but oh well, we were on Key West time. We didn't have time to go to the pool but it looked inviting. They also allow pets. This isn't within walking distance to Old Town or Duval Street. You will need to take the bus, take a taxi, rent scooters or rent a car.... Read more

We reserved a suite for 5 adults, 3 bedrooms, 2 on second floor, which you must go up from a spiral staircase, with an adjoining bathroom. All upstair bedrooms have individual room airconditioners. Plenty of closets! Bedrooms and baths very clean! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, pool a little small but always clean and perfect temperature. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends!

The place needs total upgrades. Every thing. It is clean but the carpet smelt so musty and the air conditioner didn't work properly, it was either freezing or not cool enough. I had a sinus headache the whole week. The pool area is nice but the suite we stayed in was so old , I don't think anything had ever been changed since the day they opened and even then everything looked like it was bought used. Would NOT recommend this place. We stayed in a one bedroom suite.
