For the first time traveler to KW, stay here! You are right on Duval St which has enough bars and restaurants to keep you busy for months. The hotels location is also within walking distance to the marina where you board for snorkeling, sea kayaking and more. The marina happens to be adjacent to the boardwalk where folks gather for sunset. In addition to the boardwalk, you are next to museums and lots of other activities. The hotel itself is nice. History, small pool, multiple bars, great ... Read more

We stayed here for three nights. The location is amazing - middle of Duval. Easy walk to most everything. We were really disappointed to learn after we checked in that the pool was being resealed and so it wouldn't be open during our stay. They did offer access to their sister properties, but these were nearly a mile away. We expressed our disappointment to the manager, who adjusted our room rate. But we would have rather had the easy pool access as it was HOT during our trip. Our room was t... Read more

The perfect location and a very nice hotel, room was a little small but clean and comfortable bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom was a little small but also very clean. Very nice lobby, due to the short stay I feel I didn't really have time to enjoy all of the hotels amenities. Great friendly staff especially the Valets and the Duval shuttle was nice. Fantastic location in Key West right on Duval Street. Sure, it is not on the water with unobstructed sunset views, but there are other much more pricy hotels that offer that, but when you are out drinking and partying on Duval Street and are ripped roaring drunk, this is the closest hotel to all the bars so you are really not too far from your bed.

So you have to be on your toes to spot the drive way into this property the sign is La Concha and no mention of Crown Plaza but once you do that things get better. We were met by a smiling friendly valet who took our car and directed us to the front desk. The room has, yup blue ceilings and shutters on the windows and one could expect Ernest Hemingway sitting there with a drink in his hand. The standard room cost us over $1,800 dollars for 4 nights. Not worth it! The room came with two double beds although we were told over the phone that the beds were queen size. We were traveling with young children and the hotel had no roll away beds to offer to accommodate us since the beds were smaller than expected. The dresser and night stands were oversized which made the room over crowded as it is small to begin with. The night stands were not functional - did not open could not be used fo... Read more

First of all, the location was perfect! Walking distance to everything or just about everything. There is a hotel shuttle that runs from end to end of Duval Street. We had a king size junior suite. It was on a corner, overlooking Duval Street. Windows facing two directions. From one we were able to "kind of" see the sunset (trees in the way of a full view) and we saw the sunrise from the other. We stayed here during the X mas holidays. Pros: Large room/bathroom & balcony, although a little worn and set up odd, it was decent. People are allowed to smoke on the balcony's, so it does tend to waft over if you're not a fan (me) then that a bummer. roof top pool was a plus valet was friendly and timely cons: NOISY- room was not quiet in the evening until well after 1AM, this may be due to the holidays but on a very busy street not sure. restaurant staff was stuffy and food very overpriced ... This beautiful hotel was a very pleasant surprise, as it looks quite unassuming from the outside. The very friendly and helpful staff in the reception made our stay special and breakfast was great!!! You really can walk to everything from here - we did not use the car at all during our stay. We stayed for 6 nights last week in la concha. It was a lovely hotel with very nice staff and a very relaxing atmosphere in the bar in reception. There were a few issues, the first is that they advertise a bar on the top floor which is part of the reason we booked this hotel but apparently this was closed a couple of years ago. Had a last minute late night reservation and we were lucky enough to have Alan working the front desk to take care of us. We had a no nonsense quick and EXTREMELY friendly check-in process. The room was great and we we're able to get a little extra sleep out of the deal as well. Alan is the most hospitably human being we have ever had the pleasure of working with. I will definitely return to La Concha for future stays.

After reading mixed reviews of this location I was concerned that I would have a bad experience? The truth is it was a good stay despite the service? First, when making my reservations I stated that this was going to be my wife??s birthday? The hotel called me four days before my check in, to make sure that everything was the way I wanted it? I again stated that it was my wife??s birthday and that I would like to have a bottle of wine and some flowers in the room upon check in?... Read more

Would highly recommend this property. Rooms clean and plenty big for a short term stay. Refrigerators in rooms. Bar lobby area is welcoming and comfortable. Staff professional and efficient. Jasmine was super helpful. Pool area is plentiful, clean and water amazing. I would definitely stay here again....

Most conveniently located hotel for exploring Key West and its abundance of sights and experiences. Hotel clean, cool and spacious, pool on second floor ideal for relaxing in the sun. Fitness suite small but great view. Attached wine bar has great happy hour. First hotel that didn't provide guest water in rooms but service from all staff always with a genuine smile.

When looking for hotels in Key West we were struggling to find as not been before. Found this hotel via ihg.com and it's fine. Very nice room, small pool but fine and very chilled. We went to the sister hotels restaurant which was awesome! Would definitely visit again

Do not use the IHG website to book a hotel room. IHG is the parent company for the Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites, ... I booked a no prepay, cancel within 72 hours of arrival hotel room (Crowne Plaza Key West) and was immediately charged for the entire stay. The email I received said if I changed or cancelled my reservation I 'may lose my deposit'. When I cancelled the reservation the day after I booked, I was not refunded even though the arrival date was weeks away. I called ... Read more

Hotel was beautiful, rooms were okay but didn't spend any time there other than sleeping and showering. Valet people and all staff were very polite and helpful. Wish they had a restaurant on site, had to walk several blocks for breakfast. Parking not included with hotel- $26 per day

The best of experience is location. Ideal for whom wants enjoy all night long at the bars and restaurants seeing people walking up and down on street. The room is comfortable enough. The parking lot is safe and Valet works well. The room price is average.
