This hotel has extremely nice grounds. There are 2 pools (one for kids and one for adults) a nice beach area, and outdoor restaurant seating. Pool and beach service is excellent. The outdoor staff is great. The lobby is also nice - reminded me of old Havana. However, the rooms are outdated and small. Some rooms have hard wood (or laminate- I didn't get a close enough look) floors. The room I stayed in had tile floors and it reminded me of a cheap hotel chain. The bathroom was small and outdat... Construction was going on at the hotel. Couldn't get served outside for drinks, lots of noise during tree transplanting, and the bar was temporary with limited drink choices. Very disappointed with th service and all the construction going on during our vacation.

At the top of main staircase a large section of carpet was ripped up. The doors in the bathroom were badly water damaged and warped. When staying in a prestigious Hotel with a well known name and paying top dollar this is unacceptable in my opinion

If you plan on spending time on the Beach front - find "Mark" he is the absolute greatest person. He makes you feel very special. Cleaning sun glasses, misting when it's so hot. Frozen towels and more. There is another young person named Zack that just started working there and he is doing a fabulous job. We met him on his first day. You must meet Mark.!.

My husband and I plus our adult daughter enjoyed a lovely five days at Casa Marina. We stayed in a suite resort view but perfect for us. Room was great, food at the hotel was great , staff was very nice. We loved sitting out around pools or outside on patio with ocean view. This hotel is a great spot in Key West!

Beautiful hotel and grounds. I wanted a hotel with a beach and beach service for our anniversary trip and it did not disappoint. I loved the beach service and the adult pool. However, we felt we were always an "inconvenience" to the staff. I would say 90% of them had unpleasant attitude. There were a hand full that had excellent customer service. I feel if you pay $300+ a night, customer service should at least be good. As far as the room, it was average. Walls are very thin and could hear o... Read more

Would have given the hotel a 2 star because the rooms are old, no AC in elevator (door sticks and doesn't open every time). But the Mark and the crew at the beach were great! In fact all the staff was great! Very helpful and kind. We will be back...after the renovation.

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! The beach and pools were phenomenal. However, the room left something to be desired. The room was small and the bathroom was smaller. The concierge was a disaster. For a Waldorf I was a little disappointed, had it been any other company I would've said 5 stars.

$375 per night plus $25 room service daily plus $16 self parking daily plus taxes total $450 daily for a dated room, beach boy "mark" mean, just a pool for adults and another pool for everybody, very boring rectangular shape, deck to go to the beach water because there is no sand to go to the water, $$$ restaurant, front desk not friendly, I will not return

Very attentive service at the beautiful cabanas on the beach. Mark from the barefoot Billy's was very helpful, attentive and caring. Evelyn made the meeting run smoothly. The hotel has a 5 star setting and the fire pits at night were fun and relaxing. Thank you and see you next year.

We stayed at the Casa Marina resort for 5 days and would return in an instant. The resort was very clean and well maintained, indeed we saw staff working everyday to maintain the pristine appearance of all the outdoor areas. The staff covering the beach were very helpful and attentive as we're all the staff we encountered. We had an issue with the ATM which the staff resolved for us very much to our satisfaction. We were so impressed and happy with everything about our stay. The grounds are stunning, the adult pool is so great. The pool wait staff is better than anywhere I have ever stayed including high end South Beach hotels. Very relaxed but elegant vibe everywhere. I was so surprised the food was as terrific as it was!! We hadn't planned to eat at the hotel at all, but wow. Breakfast was terrific (yes pricey but awesome), and we loved the ceviche as our daily afternoon snack. Drinks were terrific. We... Read more

This is day 4 of a 6 day visit. The grounds are lovely and very conveniently located. Our check in was easy and we were greeted with a smile and enthusiastic restaurant suggestions. Stacey the concierge was fabulous and even gave us her cell to text her with questions! Eddy the bike guy was extremely friendly and helpful. Why only 3 stars then? Property is very nice, but beach is limited mainly due to the way keys are situated. Problem is with lower quality rooms that need to be cleaned better with attention to detail befitting a Waldorf Astoria property. Staff should be audited for their work and held accountable. They are obviously doing a quick and less thorough job. Dust is sitting in places for some time as it was very thick.

I've stayed at this hotel before 6 years ago, it was as beautiful and in a great location as I remembered. The beach service (just the chair guys) were very rude. Your afraid to even try and get your own chair when there's no one around. To order drinks around the pool be prepared to pay $15 for mixed drinks. The walls are thin which I knew that from before but the gorgeous grounds and location make that up for me. My family loved our stay here and would come back again.

My wife and I visited the Casa Marina for four nights around July 4th, 2016 for a quick getaway from Atlanta. We are in our early 30s and wanted a few nights away without the kids. We wanted a location without Zika, an upscale resort with a beach and pool, and a hotel in the same timezone as Atlanta. Key West is easy to get to via Delta. Spent 5 nights here and felt underwhelmed with the overall experience. Everything seems to be extra from the resort fee to car parking. Its a busy location with lots going on. Nice pool area albeit busy. Nice location on the southern end of Duval Street and away from the madness that goes with it. A good 20 minute walk to the center of Duval Street. Breakfast expensive for just buut acceptable food for nearly $30 per person but lots of good places to eat nearby.

I don't think this hotel is a 4 or 5 star hotel. When we arrived our room wasn't ready so they put us in a room that looked to the street trash. Definitively not the view you expect in Key West. We were changed to another room. It was very very dirty. Our room wasn't clean on a daily basis, when we called the front desk man said he'll put us on the list since they were short of staff. This hotel has what is needed for a perfect say. Seafront, nice and helpful staff, big pools with service, convenient restaurant, good room with confortable beds, clean bathroom. Why it's not great? Old and noisy air conditioning in the room. I simply could not have a good night of sleep. The Key West atmosphere is preserved at this place, without loosing confort and modernity at the attendance facilities. Its location is perfect to walk or ride to the city center but at the same time is peaceful and quiet.

This is a faux four star hotel. The exterior is beautiful and well maintained with good bar and restaurant service. The interior of the hotel is a disappointment. The elevator was dirty and remained so for our 4 day stay. There was green mildew/mold growing on the the windows in the fitness center. There were children on the equipment and no signs to advise that this was not acceptable (let alone a huge liability). Our room was not serviced the first day we were there. We were told we should hav... Read more

Kudos to Robin and Jeffrey, impeccable service! Peel and eat shrimp was fabulous and in general the outdoor restaurant was delicious. Don't forget to visit the spa, friendly staff, very pleased with my three treatments! Private beach. Walking distance to Duvall Street. Room was bright and airy, clean, comfortable beds. The cafe staff weren't morning people. I would definitely stay there again. Take the Sunset Cruise on the "Footloose"!

My husband and I have just returned from Key West and we stayed here for 6 days after having 6 days in Miami. The drive was long but worth doing once we reached the Keys. We upgraded to an Ocean view with balcony and we were allocated a room in the west wing. We were very disappointed with the balcony which was very open with no privacy whatsoever looking out onto other balconies, although we did have a sea view. Because of the lack of privacy we did not use it at all. The bathroom was also the... Read more

The Casa Marina, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, located in Key West, Florida, is a superbly designed, constructed, and decorated place‚?¶ with much less than appropriately matching attention to the clientele. While the lobby and Flagler Bar, and the wading areas and full pools flanking the restaurant terrace, are all beautiful to behold, the staff in all these places are simply not up to the quality of service that their surroundings suggest they should be providing. The old architecture is very nice and it is a great place to stay. The bar, restaurant service personal are great and do going the extra mile to make you feel special. The same counts for beach service from barefoot Billy. The front desk personal is doing okay only the minimum and the room cleaning service is terrible. But the Manager goes also the extra mile to make it right. I would stay here again

The resort location and grounds are very nice. I found the hotel staff to be super friendly. Where this property strikes out and falls far short of the Waldorf Astoria standard is with respect to housekeeping. I couldn't happen but to notice all the grime on doors and walls throughout the hallways. Some cracks in the shower tiles and some rotting off the bottom of the bathroom door were something I would not have expected to see.

The case marina resort was beautiful and staff was so nice and helpful. The two pools (one for family and one for adults only) were nice with a great view of the ocean. Breakfast ocean views were incredible. We booked our snorkel and also our jet ski tours on site and was picked up from the resort which was very convenient. All the food and service was great. First class resort for sure!!!

This is the best hotel in Key West! A large private beach, a family pool and an adults-only pool, and all of the friendly staff will definitely make your stay perfect. My husband and I stayed in the Flagler building and had a beautiful room with a comfortable king bed and a view of the pool and ocean. The poolside staff will setup your chairs with a cover and towel. Throughout the day they make sure you're comfortable, offering a free sample of the drink-of-the-day, a frozen eucalyptus towel wh... Beautiful property. Kay at the pool bar outstanding in her service and her 'locals' recommendations. Good experience overall. Lack of sandy beach a setback. Lack of non touristy outings a set back. Extreme humidity a set back. Aside from all that this is a beautiful high end property. Staff all helpful and cheerful. Several great dinner spots within walking distance, most notably Louie's Backyard, Salute, and Garbos. In order, a delicious brunch place, a casual but classy beach Italian restau... Read more

Having stayed in other Waldorf hotels I expected the same level from here but was very disappointed by a lot of things. We had 2 suites the 1 in the main building wasn't bad but the 1 in the new building was poor. The room wasn't well maintained I know it's harder to mantain a property close to the sea but at the prices it shouldn't be this bad. the balcony was very dirty. The breakfast buffet wasn't great when you have had it in other Waldorf's also adding an automatic 18% gratuity to a buffet ... Read more

Looking for a 5 stars resort to relax in the Florida keys might become a project.. I ended up picking the Casa Marina, which I wouldn't do it again. The pool and public areas are stunning! The room seemed like a hostel, and I am not overreacting. We had a ocean view room with a little garden with direct beach access. Excellent booking class. For the price we paid we expected nothing than what the Waldorf Astoria normally offers. This hotel is not the case. We asked maintenance to fix our shower ... Read more

We traveled to Key West for our honeymoon. Casa Marina was our first stop and our favorite hotel that we stayed at while on the island. The pool view was beautiful and given we were traveling on our honeymoon the adult only pool was a nice touch. The ocean water was very warm and offered a dock to help you avoid the rocky ocean floor while entering the water. We were greeted with professionalism and superior customer service at the desk, lounges and pool staff. We never met the housekeeping staf... Read more

We have made jigsaw crabs, sand art and photo frames. Pool activities have included beach volley, pirate coin hunt. Don't forget to do the brilliant bracelet hunt with the map, our kids loved this! The breakfast excellent. The hotel is about a 10 minute stroll from Duval Street though- there is a hop on bus that calls at the hotel during the day. Loved it though.

This is supposed to be a Waldorf, which I would expect to be awesome, but the room was uninspiring. It was nicely finished, but there wasn't even a chair in the room to sit. A place like this should be about comfort. The beach is very small, which I guess is to be expected in Key West. They have a nice food service right on the beach. Overall, very expensive, but more fun could be had elsewhere.

Our stay at this historic property in Key West was delightful. The location on the beach is beautiful. They have 2 pools, one for family and one for adults. The concierge was very helpful. This was our first time in Key West. We discovered that Key West is an island a rock. Originally there is no sand; only rocks. So even if Casa Marina is on the beach, there is no sand. The direct consequence being that the swimming pool is crowded. Good news for those without children; there is a second swimming pool for adults only. The hotel is old and needs renovations.
