I booked this hotel for a business trip because the hotel I normally choose was booked. The online photos looked nice, the reviews were fine, and it was located close to my office. However, upon checking in, I found the location leaving a lot to be desired. The area of town is a little desolate, and didn't feel too safe for a woman traveling alone. When I walked in the front door I was overwhelmed by some type of fragrance filling the air of the small entryway. It was awful. The front desk clerk... Read more

I previously stayed at this hotel and had a really good experience, which is why I decided to stay at this hotel again, unfortunately my experience wasn't as good. This is a large size hotel, the rooms are updated and quite clean and the staff is generally friendly. Unfortunately, when I tired to check-in at the hotel I was told that the hotel was oversold and that there were no rooms for me. This hotel is adjacent to a Homewood suites (both doors to their respective lobby is 50 feet apart) so beware when checking in and trying to pull up to the front door. When pulling up you approach the door to Hilton Garden Inn then drive in a tight half circle past the Homewood Suites door. Needless to say because I couldn't get past the Homewood suite entrance due to cars blocking the driveway I had to backup through the loop and almost hit a pedestrian. Overall, the experience was fine. HGI needs to consider adding additional cook staff to accommodate the number of guest during the breakfast hours. I didn't experience any activities during the lunch/diner hours. Also, the Pantry was nice, but it really didn't have much to offer. A small gift shop/convenient store would be ideal. We had to go to the grocery store and Walgreen a few times.

We stayed there on a Friday night. The room was nice and spacious. Excellent staff. Our room was on the 6th floor overlooking the pool. The design of this facility causes sounds from the pool to come straight up. While there were residents in the pool, it sounded like they were right outside our window. The hotel also sits near a set of railroad tracks. When trains go by (three in that one night) it is very easy to hear them. Other than those issues, we had a very pleasant stay. We ate in the on... I travel frequently for business purposes and have become accustomed to mediocre-to-rude service, sub-par rooms and high prices. This Hilton brought me back a few years to a time when the customer truly was appreciated. For business or pleasure I would highly recommend this hotel. Do be aware there is some significant road construction in the area so be sure to have a real-time means of navigating the route to and from the hotel. Well worth it.

This is a newer hotel in a great location close to I-95. It was clean and attractive. There was nothing spectacular about the rooms but they were adequate.
