I received an upgrade to a suite and complimentary breakfast. The room was spacious and even had a whirlpool tub. The TV had many channels to choose from. The bed was comfortable. The room was very quiet and relaxing.

Friendly and accommodating staff, clean inside and out. The breakfast offers a variety of good food selections to include made to order. My compliments to the Dinner Chef. Her cooking is outstanding, has great taste and flavor. A must dine in try. Kudos to the cleaning staff for a job well done. Keep it up the good. My wife and I had traveled to Jacksonville to take care of some family business and wanted to stay at a hotel that was conveniently located to the airport and shopping/restaurants. Hilton Garden Inn was PERFECT. We trust the Hilton brand and this stay was top notch. We enjoyed wine on the patio in the evening, terrific breakfast buffet in the morning and a quick and easy drive to the airport.

I will not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. The room was very outdated and not aesthetically pleasing at all. The air vent in the bathroom was broken and dusty, the shower was super small almost claustrophobic and the door separating the bathroom and bedroom was very hard to open and close. To top it all off the out door spa was out of order. My romantic anniversary weekend turned out to be not so romantic after all.

Overall, the hotel was very good due to it's location (lots of restaurants, shopping and entertainment nearby), rooms, and sleep quality (our room was right near the pool but it was quiet). However, the complimentary WiFi was a JOKE! We got no service or extremely slow service. It would literally take overnight for a text to send, if it ever did. It was actually faster in the parking lot.

Just your typical Hilton Garden inn, very convenient to the airport and I-95. I do stay at this hotel monthly and never had an issue. Great breakfast and the servers are very nice. They do keep this hotel very clean and always painting. A great choice and you will enjoy your stay.

Clean and not too fancy hotel. But the breakfast bar staff and cheff deserve recognition for their efforts, efficiency and great service all around. I travel over 35 percent of the year and HGI are one of my favorite hotel lines. I have to asmit this one has the most efficient breakfast operation of them all. Unfortunately I can't remember their name but you won't miss them.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn prior to an early morning departure to the Caribbean. The park and fly program's cost is very reasonable and is especially wonderful if your flight departs at 5 am! We were given a room at the Airport Hilton Garden Inn after mistakenly cancelled our reservation with the Hampton Inn. With the Hampton then full, we had to move to another hotel. ( was kind after the error and even told us that they'd pay the difference for another hotel). Rooms were okay but not the quality you would expect from a Garden Inn. The pillows on the bed were all super soft and hard to get a good nights sleep with. Breakfast area is confussing so ask for help. Staff is friendly and no shortage of parking.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, I was quite surprise of the condition of the hotel because most hotels close to the airport have lots of wear & tear. The rooms were nice and clean, the lobby are was always full of refreshments for the guests. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions to another location. Great stay from the minute I walked in the door. Excellent service at the front desk even when I misplaced my room key before I even got to the room. Despite finding ants in our room, the front desk staff moved us immediately. This was great service! Housekeeping did an excellent job on cleaning the rooms. Overall, the property and decor was beautiful, modern and there was plenty of nearby options to choose from. Room service hours were limited and outdoor pool was great, except for the ants on the pool chairs.

I would recommend this location. The staff was great and the rooms were clean. The airport location is very convenient. Check in was fast and they allowed us until 12:30 pm to have the room the next day because we hadn't arrived until 1:30 am the night before. I like a hotel who can adjust their rules as needed. The Hilton Garden Inns tend to be the better hotel for us anywhere we go. They are consistently nice.

Fairly clean....staff at check-in were extremely knowledgable. Checkout staff over charged us and did not know how to correct their error. Will dispute charge on my credit card. Hilton honors member receive free continential breakfask but they did seem to know this. This was a first experience....and i been a member since 2010

The staff ( front desk ) should be more guest friendly. Hotel assistance should be provided to guests that are disabled. All guest should be treated with the utmost respect. The response time to respond to a problem was good however the guest should be kept aware of the status. Assistance should be provided to those whom are disabled when being moved to others rooms due to maintenance problems.

This is NOT Hilton Garden quality. The overall cleanliness and care is very lacking. A brown blob on the bedding in 1st room, moldy creamers in 2nd room and hall carpets that needed a good vacuuming at the least and a good cleaning at the best. I would not stay here again. Manager and desk people were helpful, but someone needs to pay attention to cleaning!

I am extremely picky when it comes to the cleanliness of a hotel room and my room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely gracious, friendly and accommodating and made me feel welcomed. Even when I had a concern the attitude immediately was the customer is always right and problem fixed.

Heavy traffic must dictate the condition of this airport hotel . Not your average Garden Inn and I stay in a lot of them. Food service below average but hotel has all other amenities. Very easy access to the airport quick in and out.

We stayed at this property last night. Outside and inside were both clean and comfortable. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. Made to order breakfast was prepared as ordered and tasted great. The restaurant service was excellent. The front desk staff were phenomenal. Very personable and friendly. We were immediately acknowledged as Diamond members and given a complimentary bag. The Hilton Garden Inn in Jacksonville, FL is an exceptional place to stay. You will feel at home and the service is impeccable. We were visiting family in the area and as an Hilton Honors member I wanted to stay close to the airport. The location is perfect, shopping centers within 3 minutes and restaurants are close too. The breakfast at this hotels cost almost $10. The staff is very impersonal and very serious. The beds are hard like a stone and the pillows are flat like pillow covers. I have to ask for more pillows to sleep. Air conditioner vents were rusty and moldy. I always stay in Hilton brand hotels but given my first experience with this brand, I will never stay in this type of hotel.

I ended up in Jax on a short notice with no hotel reservation. I checked in with the manager and I was able to be accommodated. The Hilton Honors floor is awesome! I slept like a baby. This is a really nice property with a pool that is right in the airport. It does not get any better than that.

I stayed here during Hurricane Matthew. Despite losing power and running on a skeleton staff, the management and employees of this hotel went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. Travis was baking cookies and putting out snacks with just a little outside light and a flashlight. There was also water dripping around him from the kitchen ceiling. We came into the hotel to get a room. They were booked but they helped us find a room at a nearby sister hotel. In the meantime we decided to eat at their bar. I paid the premium the rate because I wanted to experience the Jacuzzi tub suite. The room was dirty, freezing cold with the thermostat being set to 64°, the tub was filthy with loose particles of dirt on the tub floor and around the sitting area. The room reeked of smoke. Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and smelled cleaned. Parking was plentiful and the location was close to the airport and surrounding areas

The hotel is clean and the employees are very friendly. I had a minor incident with heat/air vent room odor, but it went away. I also do not like flat squishy pillows, but I would imagine if I had called the front desk they may have been able to do something about switching the pillows out, but I did not choose to.

Very disappointed in hotel, question Hilton rating ? Carpet in room needed shampooing, bathtub looked original with ground in dirt, rear hallway on 1st floor had odor. Not very well managed and Hilton should look closer before rating hotels.

I visited Jacksonville for the Georgia-Florida game. This is a very nice hotel and is very convenient to the airport, shopping and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I have a favorite hotel I use when staying in this area of Jacksonville, but they were booked. This hotel was convenient for me, and had a very nice price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room clean, and comfortable. I love the fact that the A/C unit blows continuously. I always get woken up when the A/C units turn on and off. I was impressed with the facilities, and will return again.

Very friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to accommodate you. All our requests were handled promptly and with a smile. The food at the breakfast buffet was very good. I liked the close proximity to the airport.

The guy who checked me in was wonderful and i loved his halloween costume. I didn't eat at the restaurant but the woman who was setting up was nice and greeted me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Wish my stay was longer.

For 170$ I would have expected a room that would have been updated. Price does not reflect quality. The service at check was fine with no issues. Bathroom and bedroom could be updated. This will be the last time I use Hilton. It's been fun.

The hotel staff took great care of me when I arrived early. Every staff member I encountered was cheerful and helpful. The hotel decor was gorgeous, breakfast was fabulous and my room was very comfortable. I could not have asked for a better trip.

My husband and I stayed a week here while in the area for business. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Overall the hotel and grounds looked new and well kept. The breakfast service was delicious. We only experience one problem during our stay. The door lock mechanism to our room never opened on the first attempt from day 1. My family stayed at the HGI Jacksonville Airport of the weekend of 5 - 6 November. I want to thank Susan from the morning restaurant staff and Angie from the evening staff. Susan made our breakfast meals great. The food was good and the atmosphere that Susan provided was awesome. Now for Angie, this lady is amazing. I stayed one night at the Hilton Garden Inn because it was the closest available hotel to Jacksonville airport. Upon arrival and departure the front desk agents were extremely nice and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel offers an airport shuttle that I did use, and the driver was extremely pleasant. My only complaint is that the toilet did not consistently work well, and would not be fixed until after my check out.

The staff at Hilton Garden Inn are exceptional. They make every effort to make each guest feel like a VIP. The Lobby is always so beautifully decorated, and the breakfast service is A+. i would always use Hilton Garden Inn for all my Business trips as long as they are available. The bed and room service cannot be beat.

This is the nicest hotel in Jacksonville, Fl. Excellent location, safe neighborhood and superior customer service! The hotel is kept very clean, the rooms had everything we needed, and the staff was exceptional! The breakfast was delicious and the dining room staff were very responsive to our needs! This hotel is not a true reflection of the Hilton Brand. It needs a total facelift. Not to mention they are going through renovations and should be giving away "free rooms" as bad as the hotel looks. There is rust in the bathrooms, rust on the ironing board, mold on the shower curtain and very unfriendly staff.
