Toilet was not bolted to floor, outside side doors can be opened without card key. Parking lots dark. I've stayed at other Country Inns and they were better maintained. I am a Carlson Black Card holder, so gave the hotel a shot. Disappointed.

The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. I can't think of anything that could be improved. The reception area was very nice as were the employees. Breakfast had a nice variety. I had previously read the reviews on tripadvisor and I can't imagine why anyone would have complained about the beds or the noise.

I have stayed at this hotel building in the past when it was owned by another company, and it was great...which is why I chose it again. Well, I booked a queen room through Expedia, but when I checked in the hotel gave me a double bed in a tiny room with a bathroom that smelled like mildew because there was mildew growing in the shower. The sleeping area was clean though. I called the front desk to inquire why I had been given such a room and was told that because I had booked with Expedia they ... Read more

The staff was excellent, the facility is old and is in the need of remodeling or major repair. This is an older building and although not really bad, it is not up to the standard that we have come to expect from Country Inn. The value is good, but I prefer to pay a little more and have a cleaner look and feel.

The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Everything worked great in the room. They have a dehumidifier so you don't feel damp in your room. You do have to empty it, but it's only a pullout bin of water. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. The staff was extremely pleasant as were other people staying there. The food was hot, filling and tasty. It is not a four star, but definitely worth the money!

The exterior and lobby of the hotel looks great. Our room was on the 4th floor and was in pretty poor shape. They must be doing some remodeling as there was one hallway where there was quite a bit of furniture and junk. The room itself was outdated and small. It had a musty smell and the bedding smelled terrible. We pass through Jacksonville fairly frequently and will definitely choose another hotel next time. The breakfast was very good. It was hot and fresh with a decent variety. Most of the... Read more

I was on the 4th floor and they are doing renovations I knew this before I booked..however I did not know they would be still using power tools at 9pm. Also, the bathtub was filthy with long black hairs in it. I left the room and was seen leaving the room by some workers while I was gone my boyfriend got a knock at the door wondering if someone was in the room... seemed kind of fishy to me as if he would have not been in the room what would have happened Do the workers have Master Keys? I am ... Read more

This is an older hotel which has been refurbished. The rooms are clean with nice bathrooms, TV, Internet, Wi-fi. The overall hotel is clean with all the basic amenities of breakfast, workout room, meeting rooms and pool. The location is great to beaches, downtown and University. Staff is professional and efficient.

I don't have anything nice to say I will not say again from talking with front desk during reservation to arriving was a totally different picture being renovated but still for the price I would spend more for comfort.

We were given the wrong room to start with. We were then called on our room phone to come downstairs to fix their problem. Waited in line for half an hour so we went back to our room to wait. We had 2 rooms (different hallways) and they both had a horrible moldy smell to them. Went down for breakfast and there was no clean dishes, so we did not eat breakfast. The bathrooms are small and have outdated peeling wallpaper. The hotel was under construction somewhere. The noise wasn't too terrible, bu... Read more

I recently had to stay in Jacksonville due to an illness in the family. The staff here were helpful and friendly. The hotel was being renovated. But that didn't interfere with anything for me. Loved the fact that they had a washer and dryer available for guests to use.

Doors were broken in front lobbyand would not close. Carpet very dirty, tile in bath pieced in and mismatched, mold on tile and ceiling. Showe're head broken. Room was very musty!!! Im a regular guest at this chain and am amazed at the potential most locations possess and yet they fail to reinvest in the property.

I love this place and will always stay here when in Jacksonville I have been to other hotels but ultimately this has by far been the best hotel with the best service. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

DO NOT STAY HERE> HOTEL IS TERRIBLE. Room had a nasty smell. There was a dehumidifier in the room, to remove the moldy smell. Did not help. I ended up having to empty the water collection container. Hotel is under renovation, and the construction employee's loitered in the parking lot all night, with cars coming and going frequently. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Quick access to Jacksonville/ Ponda Verda Beaches , St Augustine, and the City of Jacksonville. Many restaurants nearby and Dave and Busters across the street. The Hotel was going through some upgrades but everything was nice, and the bed was comfy. The staff here is wonderful and did all they could to accommodate our needs.
