This Hampton is a nice and comfortable place to stay after a long day. Very close to shopping and the restaurants. Easy to get in and out of. It was very clean and well maintained. If you are traveling for work it is a great place to relax.

I stayed here in January and had several reservation changes along the way - I was inadvertently escaping a blizzard with my long-scheduled visit to family. Teresa at the desk quickly and efficiently adjusted my reservation (somehow I had ended up with three different ones) and made sure everything was okay. I found the hotel quiet and almost empty at 6am breakfast. This location is convenient for visiting family in the area so I will be back. A very good Hampton Inn.

Good location on the south side of town that is near the beaches (a couple of miles away) without the price of the beachside hotels. Downtown Jacksonville is about the same distance away to the north as Ponte Vedra is to the south from the hotel. Location offers good access to a variety of restaurants and "big box" stores nearby for dining and anything you might have forgotten to pack.

The Hampton Inn and Suites/Mayo Clinic Area is a wonderful place to stay. Very friendly staff, extremely clean rooms, and beds and pillows were great. You can't go wrong with this Hotel. I have been here as a patient at the Mayo Clinic, and I will always stay here when in town. I have stayed at other Hampton Inn and Suites and each one is remarkable.

We needed a hotel that was convenient to our family in which to stay from time to time. At random I selected this particular Hampton. That was four years ago and we are still staying there when needed. I have recommended this Hampton to other friends who are visiting the area. It is always clean, the staff is always friendly and the convenience cannot be beat.

Hampton Inn provides free transportation, (Van), to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Once a year we have appointments at the Mayo Clinic, so this is the most convenient. We have tried other motels in the past 15 years and like Hampton Inn the best for the location...close to restaurants, shopping center, and theater.

The stay was average to good. The bed was comfy. We had a suite and it was spacious. We chose this location because of its close proximity to Mayo Clinic and because of the hot tub. The hot tub was anything but hot. We asked staff if they could raise the temp but the answer was no. Too bad, the ocean temps that day was 84 degrees and I'd say the hot tub was about the same temp.

Generally a standard Hampton Inn; we got what we paid for and it was a decent value. However, the room was too small for the two queen beds and other furniture that was crammed into it. There was room to open only one suitcase at a time and we constantly bumped into each other coming and going. A king bed instead of the two queens would have freed up a lot of floor space. Poor planning.

We had a great time enjoying the comfy beds, extensive cable tv options and awesome hot breakfast bar. Front desk staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, even though we arrived at midnight! Extra towels and blankets were no problem. We stayed 3 nights and our only issue was the very weak wifi, which may have been from the hotel being so busy over the holiday weekend or the fact that we were on the top floor. But it was really bad.

The two best things about this hotel were that it was very clean and it was very close to many things which made it really convenient. It is literally around the corner from the Mayo Clinic with shops and restaurants all around you. And there is a fabulous mall just one exit up. For me the bed was a little harder then I would like, but would still stay there again for the convenience, safety of neighborhood and cleanliness of hotel.

The hotel was very nice, we reserved a handicap accessible room. Upon entrance I was nervous Because some hotels are not that accessible. We were blown away by the spacious room and bathroom. The bathtub in the room was not a standard bathtub. It was very low for me to get in and out of. The room was not cluttered with excess things for me not to bang into. Upon our late arrival we were quickly checked in. Our room was exceptionally clean and hotel was thankfully quiet due to a low occupancy as observed by the near empty parking lot. This is an alright hotel. It's dated, the carpets are a little dirty and the hallways have a distinct smell.
