Chose this hotel because we needed to sleep five so this was perfect with two queen beds and a pull out sofa sleeper. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was in the atrium which a lot of people do not like because of the noise but our room was in a corner away from the noise so we didn't experience any. The room was clean no complaints and the beds were comfy. They have a reception nightly from 5:30 - 7:30 where they offer free drinks and snacks. The snacks are chips and crackers with a dip or ... When I think Embassy Suites, I don't envision it with contemporary furnishings so I was pleasantly surprised. Decor: Modern, contemporary decor is nice yet comfortable. Customer service: -- Checked in well past midnight. Front desk personnel at that ungodly hour was lackluster and failed to tell me about breakfast times, evening reception or that my room was a conference room. Imagine my surprise when I opened my door and saw a conference room table as opposed to the standard ES seating area.... Read more

Upon checking into the hotel on May 10th 2016, I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel is indeed more modern than its counterparts. The staff was extremely friendly and even assisted me with a cup from the breakfast area at midnight when my toddler would not stop crying. The breakfast was great and everybody who had an omelet was wished a "blessed day". We had an issue with the handicap room we were assigned (did not need the handicap room) in that the shower handle/head would not stay on the... Read more

Visited this hotel for a training while in Jacksonville. The location is great, close to several major Interstates. There are several great restaurant and bar options nearby. Hotel offers a really good breakfast and happy hour for guests, as well.

This property is like brand new! It is the original Embassy Suites layout (Big Rooms) with doors separating the living room from the bedroom. The staff were a mason and very accommodating. Clean! Great E.S. Full breakfast with cooked to order items as well as every thing else you could want.

Nice hotel. Adequate breakfast but not as nice as other Embassy suites I've stayed in. Showers could be a little cleaner. The location was great for immediate access to 95. Updated rooms and TVs. Check to see if any big events happening before you book.

We stayed over night and it was perfect. The hotel seemed brand new to us until we found out that it was quite old and had gone through extensive renovations. After many, many hours of traveling it was great to be able to have dinner right there in the hotel and the food was very good. It was not an extensive menu, but it was adequate. The location and everything about the hotel is perfect. It will be our new over night on our way down to Florida.

Stayed with family on a Monday evening after a long day of travelling. Due to a booking error (totally our fault) there was some confusion at the check-in desk, however the staff was calm, professional and really helpful even if I was not (I was exhausted and just wanted a bed to lay on). They resolved the issue, got us all settled and we went to our room. The room was comfortable and very spacious. While not new, it was clean and had all of the amenities one could want. The room was nice and clean. No weird smells. Hotel is actually smoke free. They offer happy hour every night for two hours. Complimentary drinks and snacks. Drinks were good. We had a very good experience at the Embassy Suites. The staff were friendly and professional. The property is very clean, inside and out, and well-designed. The room was comfortable and in very good condition. The beds were especially nice. When we needed more shampoo, the woman at the front desk brought us even more than we asked for. Hotel appeared to be clean and well kept. It's an older property but is in good condition. I took my family with me on this trip because I'm thinking about relocating to the Jax area. As always, my 14 year old son wanted to go swimming at the pool, but he was told by a staffer at the entrance of the pool he had to be 18 or older to enter pool by himself. I stay at Embassy Suite hotels frequently in other areas and had never heard of this policy. My son is 14 years old, 5' 8" and can swim. ... Read more

Bed very uncomfortable, weird piece of kleenex siliconed to top of shower (photo attached), no alarm clock in bedroom area, you call down to the front desk on several occasions to report these occurrences and get no answer. Not to mention bank robbery next door at SunTrust during my stay so area sealed off with police and news stations. They clearly are missing a few steps at this place. Drive em in and out of here like cattle and really its not about the customer/guest.

Loved this hotel! Would stay every time I come to Jacksonville! Everyone was nice, the staff, and met some new friends in the lobby. The atrium feature is great because you can just walk out of your room and see what's going downstairs. Only complaint is the beds are not that comfortable. But I would stay again if I'm in the city !

I say GOOD and not great because I felt it could have been better. I only say that because I travel a lot and have stayed at a lot of different Hilton brand hotels. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great as usual from Embassy. This is a nice hotel for the price with considerate and kind employees. One young lady in particular during the breakfast was very sweet and helpful. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Jacksonville this past Saturday. This hotel is not the same quality as other Embassy Suites where we have stayed in the past. After showering, water formed on the ceiling. It was as if it was raining in the bathroom. The quality of the breakfast was average. The staff was not unfriendly but not friendly either. Our stay was not bad but not great either. It was just average or ok.

This is my second stay since the major renovation. Rooms are spacious and very modern. The only small downside is they did not put in may walk in showers as many hotels have done. Breakfast is cooked to order and is great. Happy hour has a descent selection of beer (including Shock top!) and some rail liquor and house wine. There were several issues: a smoking room (first room), when a non-smoking was requested; a bed with dirty linen (in our second room), we had to remake the bed ourselves with fresh linen due to lack of staff in the evening hours; and no housekeeping service the rest of our stay (third room). These issues coupled with unprofessional front desk staff made for an unpleasant experience.

Stayed here on the way back from a trip to Miami and was very disappointed. Lobby was not clean, but the front desk person was very nice. Had a two queen suite on the forth floor. We had asked for extra pillows but were actually missing one of of the queen beds. There was an a/c condensate drain that drips on you while taking a shower or bath. It is a struggle to find a single room that sleeps 6, so we are thankful for Embassy Suites. The complimentary breakfast is a huge bonus, and the made to order omlettes are fantastic! We stopped at this Embassy Suites on our way to Singer Island Florida from Cincinnati due to its $135 rate for a suite that slept six. This hotel was very good! It was comfortable and it had a good room size. Spacious! The only reason that I cannot give it five stars is because the breakfast line took forever;and the food quality was subpar, at best. It was not as personal as other Embassy Suites that I have stayed in. If you want a good breakfast, just go somewhere nearby the hotel.

We've stayed at so many Hilton properties that it is hard not to compare them with one another. I somehow get the impression that the number of Embassy Suites that needs updating and refurbishing is significant. This property in Jacksonville is an example of a Hilton property that could use an upgrade. Carpeting, furniture, doors to bathroom, etc., all could use improvement. The same can be said of the elevator which acted up a couple of times during our stay. Having said that, it is in a g... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights recently. The breakfast and evening reception are impossible. Both are understaffed and they appear to be a marketing ploy rather than a benefit. Front desk agent alex was great. Really tried to make this a good experience. First room was noisy, so he moved us. No real issues then. Room service was suprisingly good. Pool was not heated and overclorinated. Rooms are not properly cooled by ac unit

I stayed on a Friday night because I had a seminar Saturday. I found out they don't start breakfast on Saturdays until 7:30 (they said people complained it was too early). Seeing I had to be at the meeting... Read more

I found this Embassy Suites to not quite meet the standards that I have for Hilton, especially for the price I paid. I was in town for business, and this was the closest hotel for my meetings. My room was disappointing, first the temp was set a 65 degrees BRRRR. I was unimpressed when I walked in. The room was decent enough it just lacked the quality and appearance I would expect at a Suites hotel. The walls were banged up. There were drywall patches on the wall that hadn't been covered over. ... Read more

We enjoyed our stay here. Great stopping point on our drive from TN to WPB. Nice to have the Manager's Reception so we do not have to go out to eat after driving all day. Breakfast Buffet excellent, lots of choices and plenty to eat to get us going on down the road. Recommend staying here...we will!!

We stay there often as we have family in the area. Always clean and breakfast is very good. We also enjoy the afternoon reception. One question, what happened to the cookies??? It does tend to be crowded on weekends but the rooms are really quiet

All the desks and tvs had dust. The pillows were orange in color from bacteria and no protectors on it. The bathroom and wet bar mirrors had water stains clearly not clean and counters as well. 6th floor smelled like Urine near elevators near room 606.

Dirty room that was falling apart... Mgr more concerned about paperwork than eye contact with customer...but guy at front desk (employee) was great and bartender was amazing....breakfast wasn't okay..but the employees took my plate away twice while I went for coffee!

Spent Thanksgiving weekend there, staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Breakfast was OK, but ready to eat scrambled eggs tasted awful, that's probably why the omelet line was extremely long. There were only two towels in the room when we checked-in? The safe was not working properly. The carpet was dirty and the furniture was stained. Hot tub could have used a shock treatment.
