We recently stayed at the Marsh Landing Hampton Inn. We were attending the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. We loved the hotel and the staff was extremely attentive and pleasant. The breakfast was fresh and convenient. We even did a load of laundry in the bright clean laundry on our floor.

This was a leisure stay, and the room was very nice. The beds were very comfortable, and the room had ample space. It was very clean, and the staff were very pleasant. It had a "manager's reception" the night we stayed there, which was a nice addition to the our stay. It is very close to restaurants and shopping, and it is easy to take a morning walk or jog in the area. We would return to this location.

Excellent hotel, especially considering the reasonable price point. The location is excellent for access to Jax beaches and St. Augustine. Commuting from this location to downtown Jacksonville worked well in spite of the significant construction taking place on I-95.

I called and made reservations with Zachary. When he gave me the quote, I simply asked why the price had gone up so drastically since the last time I stayed there. He started giving me a lesson in economics in a very denigrating way. I'm a retired Marine Colonel, a retired teacher and engineer; I really don't need a lesson in economics from the desk clerk. What's more, he lied about his name saying his name was "Mike". I had just finished staying at Hamptons in various states five times in... Read more

I contacted to reserve a room for my family and I thought there will be no rooms available. The staff was very patient and found the one room I needed and a price that I was able to afford and we did not have to worry any more. After 6 hours driving finding such a comfortable place was awesome. Great stay will do it again! Thank you Hampton Inn.

Having recently stayed at a large Hilton property, I really found this Hampton was a much better stay. It had everything that I think is important for a hotel stay; very comfortable King bed, lots and lots of towels, soap, amenities in the room plus; coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Quiet room easy access, Super staff, hot full breakfast included, coffee and fruit int he lobby all day, a lovely pool, and a shuttle to dine around nearby. All at a very reasonable price. Top that Conrad!

I stayed here for two nights on Memorial Day weekend and it was fine. I felt that it was overpriced for what it was and not as good of a value as you normally get with Hamptons, but it was Memorial Day weekend in a very "resorty" beach town, so you gotta figure that prices will be high. The staff was friendly and got me into my room right away. The common areas of the hotel seemed relatively clean, though the elevators had lots of spills and stains all over the floors for the entire time I was... Read more

We always stay at Hampton Inns whenever possible because of the quality of rooms and service by the staff. This Inn was certainly in line with all our expectations.

Good location in Jacksonville, Fla. not far from Mayo Clinic and not far from the beach. If you are 5' 3" or shorter you will have a tough time getting into their beds. Once you get in getting out will be difficult too! However, they are comfortable once you get into them! Rooms are clean, pool, reception area and other common areas are well kept. Complimentary breakfast is good with a very helpful staff member near by in case you need assistance.

No AC musty rooms and when asked to move was told to go elsewhere. I am not a complainer, but when you book a room 5 weeks out for a family function then you walk into a smelly musty room with no AC you expect some help. I stay at Hamptons all rhe time, this one hit the bottom for me. Good luck you might get a room with working AC, but if you dont, don't expect any resolution. They just tell you to move to another hotel.

My husband and I stayed here two nights while visiting the Jacksonville area. This is a very nice Hampton Inn. Our King bed room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Loved the shelving with extra towels in the bathroom. Nice full length mirror closet door. It's so nice that Hampton puts extra outlets on both sides of the bed for charging phones. Reception was fast, friendly and helpful. Easy off and on FL 202. We would definitely stay here again. This is how I expect Hampton Inns to be.

The hotel had everything that we needed in order to get 25 people ready for a wedding from a sewing kit to extra ice bags for my niece's sprained ankle. Great lounge where we could hang out and wait for others to be ready. I will definitely stay at this hotel again

I found myself after my first stay at the Hampton Inn a couple years ago using it or each of it's ideal nuances as a reference in which to measure experiences at other hotels. I was very impressed with the hard working staff in this hotel. From the maintenance crew, room service cleaning staff and especially the front desk crew during this trying time due to the storm. The front desk area really sets the tone for the hotel stay. I would especially like to recognize Mike Rind ( I hope I have the last name correct ). He really made us feel welcome and his calm professional yet warm approach to customer service could not be topped. The Hampton brand is very fortunate to ... Read more

We have had to visit the Mayo clinic on two different occasions. The 5 minute drive to the hotel from the clinic is fine as well as being located near quite a few good restaurants. It is a four hour ride to the clinic from home and staying at your hotel is a breath of fresh air. Each stay at your hotel has been fantastic in every way when dealing with family issues while visiting the clinic. Great hotel.

The room was very clean. Has a huge bathroom. Front desk people were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. You are only minutes away from the beach. Has a pool but was closed when we were there. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. Eggs waffles and many other cold options.

This is probably the best value for the dollar in any hotel I have stayed at. I was expecting basic accomodations, but got a large, recently renovated room, with brand name cosmetics and a very good and abundant breakfast buffet. Veri nice staff, too. Highly recommended.

If a person reserves a certain type of room you need to accommodate them, or at the very least give them a phone call and explain the situation prior to them arriving. I reserved a room with a whirlpool jacuzzi to surprise my wife but when we got there and checked in they sneakily put me in a regular room and didn't say a word to me. When I opened the door I was extremely disappointed not only to not find the whirlpool, but the receptionist didn't even bother to tell me before hand. After callin... Read more

My wife needed some test ran on her at the Mayo Clinic. We live in eastern Tn. 550 miles from Jacksonviile. When we left home, we had no ideal where we were going to stay when we got there. I looked on the Internet and saw that this Hampton Inn, had a FREE shuttle that ran to the Mayo Clinic. That's why we decided to stay there. When we arrived we found out they also have a discounted rate for Mayo Clinic patients. Very nice of them. ??? Every employee we met, from the receptionist, to the lad... Read more

The hotel was a great value. Good staff and service. The location of the hotel was a great plus too. Free breakfast was good too. My stay was short so I didn't experience the cleanup service, but the room and hotel was very clean.

The experience at this Hampton Inn was outstanding start to finish. The entire staff made us feel very welcomed and that they were glad we were there. Accommodations were excellent (my wife says best hotel bed ever) and the breakfast choices were extensive and excellent as well. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Whether the stay is business or vacation. The staff goes out of there way to make everything as comfortable as possible. The staff of this hotel is five star. The facility was everything I needed. Oh and a hurricane had just came through there. Now that's impressive.

A Hampton Inn has certain things you can expect, included breakfast, pool, weight room, etc. This one also has a welcoming staff that enjoy a bit of banter and teasing. I felt like an old friend coming there. It's close to a Target and many restaurants. The rooms are clean and spacious.

Had to stay for a few days. Underwhelmed. Rooms are dark and depressing. Lighting not great. Has a happy hr with free well beer and wine. As a whole just a lot of better hotels in the area to stay. A good number of people stay here just because of the proximity to Mayo Clinic.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were attentive to any needs and always greeted us and asked if they could help us. The hotel frequently has guests visiting the nearby Mayo Clinic and the hotel obviously gears itself toward making sure patients and family members are taken care of. The breakfast was good. The lobby had a wide variety of teas and coffee. I'm a coffee aficionado and can honestly say the hotel had some of the best coffee I've ever had.
