"This was probably one of the best Resorts I have ever stayed at, very relaxing, clean, the staff was excellent. I was able to check in early. My wife and I were completly happy with everything.

The only minus I can think they can better is the fact that they charge $ 15.00 per day for parking and the resort is not gated or have any kind of security, anyone can park at the site. Also my room was by the elevator in building one and early in the morning there was to much noise from the cleaning staff (loud taliking etc.).
Overall the view from my room was expectacular. the service at the bars, restaurants were superb.
Definetly will go back again"

"We had a great experience at the Postcard Inn. The staff was excellent! Just one of the front desk employees, I believe she worked evenings was rude and sarcastic. The hotel is obviously not new but was kept clean. It was nice having access to the on property bars and live entertainment. We will probably be staying here again in the future. One thing I did not like was that the oceanfront rooms had no kitchenette. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge and microwave at least. There was also a problem in our room with ants. We had to ask someone to come spray for them. It worked until the next day then they were back."

"Islamorada is one of the more affordable part of the keys and has a nice quiet small-town feel (kind of the opposite of Key West). Postcard Inn was a great bang for our buck. The room we stayed in was small but super cute and very clean. We actually prefer small rooms because we knew we'd be outside for most of the vacation. The pool was nice and clean. The ocean was also nice, some people were snorkeling. We didn't snorkel but we saw pretty fish and some crabs. Sometimes the clientele is a little rowdy and they didn't seem to enforce many rules but our next night was quiet. I guess it depends on who's rolling through. The outdoor tiki hut bar/restaurants are cool. They have flat screens. It offers water sports and is close to water sports businesses. nnStaff was really friendly but they did seem to get slammed with some living social deals so take it easy on them! One of the things I liked was how small of a business it is. "

"This was the second stop on our summer vacation. I liked that the rooms had tile floor instead of carpet however for a newly renovated resort, I was surprised at how poorly the tile was installed in the bathroom, There were cracks and chips which made the floor look dirty. The tub was not cleaned and the toilet continuously ran.

The front desk staff was very cordial but did not have the answer to the cost of the boat slip rental and did not offer to find out and get back to me with the answer. Our childeren, (14 and 13 yrs) were getting ice for our cooler from the machine outside our room. The housekeeper was very rude to them saying they couldn't get ice. When we questioned her, she was equally as rude to us saying there was a limit to how much ice we could get. I felt very uncomfortable but did not complain because she was the one assigned to clean our room.

Later on in the day I realized that there were only two face clothes in the room. I called the front desk to ask for more. It was explained to me that this is all they put in the rooms. It didn't make sense to me since they knew we had four people in our room. So I requested an additional two towels. The staff arrived promply and was very friendly. What a relief.

"This place is really just OK, I would definitely recommend getting an ocean front room as the other buildings look like prison houses.

If you are going for a long weekend away then this is OK for you, avoid public holidays such as memorial day etc unless you like a spring break type crowd.

Security at the hotel is non existent and anyone seems to just come and go as they please, a little unnerving."

"The first room we were given, the bathroom door was broken and sliding door would not secure, 2nd room had the same issue. The front desk did finally move us to a beach front room which was nice. The rooms are small and not family friendly at all. I had purchased towels from a resort we stayed at prior to comming to Post Card Inn, they cost $50.00 dollars, house keeping accidently picked up, I got no response from front desk after speaking to 4 people, including a promise of a call after we checked out, nor did they make any effort to compensate me for my towels, this was a bit disappointing!
I was not impressed at this resort at all, and really disappointed for what we paid."

"Our stay was very nice at the postcard Inn at Holiday Isle. The rooms were nicely updated and the amenities onsite were more than expected. The restaurant out front ,Shula burgers, was good. The view from the inn was amazing especially at sunrise.!!! "

"This hotel is overpriced for what you get. I stayed here for 2 days and drove by a bunch of other cheaper hotels with a better location and better food. Shula burger (the resturant) isn't good for breakfast but the burgers are decent. Do not take a baby with you they dont have a fridge to keep milk in."

"What I liked the most about the Inn is that it was clean, the staff was friendly, and most of all there are tons of amenities, I especially liked that there was a variety of places right there on the property for food and entertainment. The major downside for me, was that there was no refridgerator or microwave in the rooms, therefore I had no place to store my daughter's milk or no way to heat it up when she needed it, so that's definitely something that they should address in the near future. But overall the experience was a good one."

"Booked a suite on line - BIG mistake. Rooms smelled, carpets were filthy, ants on the counters, fleas in the bedroom. No working phones (called to have them fixed 3 times), TV's did not work. They would not allow me to switch rooms since they said they were booked, although the place was dead while we were there???

Sent an email to the hotel and was told we stayed in a part of the resort that has not been renovated yet and that it should have been made clear when I made my reservation. I booked the room on line and I don't remember being told that I was booking a bug infested, dirty, moldy, smelly room! They claim the price reflects the room condition? "

"This is a wonderful resort located in Florida Keys. You can enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful beach in this resort. Also I like the king guestroom so much!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay and the resort could not have been better. Right on the ocean, beautiful groomed beach, we would recommend it to anyone. Rooms were lovely and beds very comfortable. A surprise envelop appeared under our door with a resort fee of Fifteen dollars a day on top of our bill. We did not know about this when we booked with Bookit.com, but we would still highly recommend this resort."
