This is a great and clean place to stay! The staff is wonderful! We arrived a few hours before check in and they said they would call us when our room was ready, but they said we were more than welcome to use the pool and the beach! There was even a nice bathroom to change in! Each room is beach front with a balcony! The air in our room was ice cold. There's a flat screen tv in each room! I didn't see a single bug our entire stay. The bathroom and kitchenette was sparkling clean! The room is also... Read more

Nice view of the gulf, nice pool, Hot tub was also nice but had a very strong smell of propane. For the Money this place could of had a better breakfast (more then a continental). Beds were comfortable. But house keeping needed some adult supervision. Garbage can never emptied, beds half made, towels and wash cloths just put on the bathroom counter not up on the shelf. Front desk personnel was very pleasant and helpful. over all we had a nice stay.

I went for my birthday weekend the last week of April, checked in Sunday, out Monday. The hotel is reasonably priced. Not fancy, but clean and neat. A nice touch is that they have shampoo and liquid soap dispensers attached to the shower wall, and liquid hand soap attached to the wall next to sink. Will definitely return there!

Stayed here in the middle of May for 5 nights. The hotel itself is okay. It's nothing fancy but it works if you're just here to enjoy the beach. It's right across the street from a Mcdonalds as well. The pool area is nice, although the hot tub was way too hot. The continental breakfast was okay, there was yogurt, apples, muffins, and cereal, nothing fancy there either, but still good. The maid we had was pretty bad. She never folded up our couch, she had to be asked to come back to change the sh... Read more

Just stayed at the Beachcomber for the first time. I needed to book an extra night at a hotel in PC in order to complete my desired stay there. This place is rather old, but is still kept in pretty good condition. The prices are probably in keeping with similar hotels offering beach front property; but definitely nothing noteworthy. It was clean and well maintained, but without a doubt very much 'out of date'. They offer a 'cold' Continental breakfast {which is not too bad}; but this place ... Read more

This hotel is right on the beach and has a very nice pool area. The parking lot is too small for the number of rooms, so we had to park across the highway in a closed restaurant parking lot. The facility is older and we had to change rooms when we checked in because the phone was broken and the air-conditioner in our first room didn't work. There is a limited continental breakfast available each morning.

We normally stay at the Legacy by the Sea but when I tried to book it online, Orbitz said it was full up on that weekend (Mother's Day). So, I started looking and found The Beachcomber by the Sea just a block or so down from the Legacy. The reviews I read on line seemed to be pretty favorable so I thought I would give it a shot. The room is laid out very similar if not exactly like the Legacy and so that was a plus because of the spaciousness and the kitchen facilities. I'm assuming the Legacy a... Read more

This was our first time staying here and were satisfied with the accommodations. Not sure why people say you have to pay to park across the street but that is NOT the case. Saw no bugs anywhere, beds were decent, bathroom could have been a bit better but it served it's purpose. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Oh and we walked barefoot in our room and no black feet!! Request 3rd floor or above or your view of the beach may be obstructed by the palm trees. One last thing...if your ... Read more

...the Beachcomber is a good choice. The rooms have been recently updated and every room has a balcony overlooking the Gulf. A typical continental breakfast is included...cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc. and served in a little room overlooking the pool and Gulf. We were just passing through and the Beachcomber provided a comfortable night's stay after a 6 hour drive!

My husband and I lived in PC Beach for 10 years and go back occasionally to visit with friends and enjoy the gorgeous gulf. We decided to stay at the Beachcomber because it is convenient. Pros: right on the water, close to shopping, close to our friends, fewer travelers to contend with, etc.. This is truly a mid-level hotel. I did not see any bugs and rooms were just okay. I am kind of OCD so the tile, carpets, tub, etc. could have been cleaner for my liking. Also it needs updating and things... Read more

The rooms were expensive and the maid service was not best as they did not vacuum or empty the trash. The front desk workers were nice and helpful and the breakfast was descent. The views from the room was beautiful with easy access to the beach and pool area. The parking was not the best due to having to park across the street due to the main parking lot being full.

The only good thing about this hotel was the friendliness. It was noisy, the A/C was on the blitz, only the shower worked, the cleaning was poor, and the spare blanket smelled like human urine. We cut our stay short and will not be returning. Oh, and the doorknobs needed fixed as well!

We had only one night to spend in Panama City Beach and didn't want to spend a fortune. Beachcomber by the Sea filled the bill. It is directly on the beach and has a nice pool. Our room had 2 full size beds and a sofa sleeper- mama and dad each got a bed and the kids got the sleeper. Had we stayed longer the kitchenette would have been been very welcome. The breakfast was mediocre at best, but we didn't have to go to McDonald's, and the coffee was good and they had liquid creamer (a big p... Read more

I definitely loved the location and most of the amenities were very accommodating but I would definitely add or change the breakfast up a little, give a variety , they definitely need to add more activities in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and always prompt. For everything that you're going to be doing at the beach the hotel itself does not need to be as fancy as what people require, it is not run down at all, it's a hotel to be on the beach and a place where you drag sand everywhere an... The hotel was really was clean but due to the lack of flooring updates and general updates it just gives the impression that it isn't clean. Great location...on the beach! They also have a nice pool. Adequate free parking, too. The breakfast left a little to be desired. Very limited items but they did have the items that we eat. I would rather see them charge a dollar or 2 more for the room and provide a larger variety of food items. The staff was excellent. We were greeted warmly every time ... Read more

Affordable, Not too big, great location, everything you need and nothing you don't. I called about a week before my check in date and asked for a room on a higher floor. Most reviews recommended to do so. When I showed up they put me on the second floor all the way in the corner, there was no view at all due to the trees. It was probably the room with the worst view. I tried to call down to the front desk and the phone was broken. So I walked back down and told them I was not happy with the room. The Beachcomber has a very good location in the heart of the beach area, with ALL units facing the water. Included in the price of the room is a limited, but free, continental breakfast from 7-10 each morning. It has conveniently located restrooms by the pool, and the pool is located beachside. I wasn't sure what to expect before we got to the Beachcomber. Reviews had mentioned aged look and feel, not the best, etc. Yes, if I had to guess, I would say this place is at least 25 to 30 years old. To me, that is part of its charm. No, it isn't a five star hotel, but then it doesn't claim to be. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A small problem with our A/C was fixed quickly.
