We had a room with two queen beds to fit our family of four. It was clean and had plenty of space for us all, not that we were in the room for much except to sleep. It's a very quick walk to the lovely beach just across the road accessible via a path opposite entry. There is a $1 trolley stop also right out front. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed lunch there one day.

I had to wait a few weeks to gather my thoughts and write this review. I, along with my brother have had over 30 extended stays in this location and I write this with a heavy heart...... First the good: the staff is great (esp jeff the concierge and elizabeth at the front desk) and the pool area is second to none (although they now lock guests out of it at night.....more on that later) Now the bad: the place is in the middle of an ownership change and it seems both sides have zero interest in... My family and I visited the crowne last month. Overall, the rooms need a lil updating but besides that the children had an awesome time. Breakfast prices are overpriced for no reason. The pool area Is amazing. Love that they had a children's area. The food there was good. Our server Sonia was awesome. She made sure to always check up on us and made the whole time there very relaxed. We will be coming back again next month.

I stayed here as part of a group tour of Florida and so we only spent one night here. I came away with a feeling that the hotel was "just ok". The location is not great if you want to get out and about and do not have a car. There did not seem to be much around like restaurants and things to do beyond what was in the hotel. The room was large and had a comfortable bed. Part of the bathroom (basin) is in the room itself. The shower is big and there is no bath (which many hotels seem to be moving ... Read more

Of course, the Hotel is not located in the busy part of Hollywood, but that does not make it any less of a great place to stay! Just download the Uber App before traveling and you will be set for the duration of your stay! Also, use the trolley tracker on your phone and you will always know when it is close to the hotel. Overall the hotel is okay. Found a deal on Priceline so for what we paid it was a good deal. We didn't think it should have 4 stars though, 3 or 3.5 maybe. Rooms were modern and clean. Small fridge and microwave a plus. Beds are decent. Toilet kept running and got really annoying after awhile. I don't know what it is about Crowne hotels but they all seem to have extremely worn carpet in the hallways and rooms. This is an affordable hotel near the beach but it should be duly noted that this isn't a resort or a 4 star hotel. Valet parking is $25 a day which actually isn't bad compared to $39 next door at the Diplomat.

We spent 7 nights 8 days at the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort. It's a clean hotel with a nice pool with views of the Intercoastal. It was cool to watch nice boats go by while hanging out in the pool. The hotel is not on the beach. Beach is across the street. Decent size rooms with either two double beds or a king size bed. We had to switch rooms because we were given two double beds since there were 3 of us. We traveled with our 8 year old son. A double bed was too small for me and ... Read more

The pool, tiki bar, restaurants and location were very nice. However, the guest rooms need some serious improvements. First room we were given had a putrid smell and a dirty bathroom with black mold in the ceiling above the shower. The room they moved us to had worn out beds that caused me and my husband to roll to the center of the mattress. The first morning we woke up and noticed that someone who stayed previous to us had left dirty clothes beside the couch... Who cleaned the room ... Read more

Personally would not recommend this hotel. Location is awful and they do not offer a shuttle to and from the main strip. You can take the Hollywood Beach Shuttle, but that only runs on the hour. Valet is an extra $25 and if you want to self park you can save a WHOPPING $2 and they will only charge you $23. They also put a $50 hold on your credit card that you will get back in 7-10 days (even if there is nothing to be charged). The only nice thing I can say about this hotel is that the rooms... In 2016, it's pretty much de rigeur that a hotel this expensive would have internet service. This hotel in fact advertises that it does. I was traveling on business and unable to access the internet due to their issues, not mine. A call to the front desk was met with a suggestion that I call their tech support line!! After 15 minutes with their tech support, I gave up. I've never had a hotel put me on to tech support before. At the price this hotel charges, the service was unacceptable.

Our room overlooked the pool and waterway. It was beautiful. The room was gorgeous. The sink was separated from the shower and toilet. We had a separate area with the coffeemaker, sink and a lot of cabinets. The bathroom had a walk in shower and plenty of towel bars. The carpets were a little dirty. We enjoyed the area very much. The entrance into the hotel was tricky getting in and the parking was a little confusing and costly.

After a beautiful Saturday at Rapids Water Park in West Palm Beach we decided to stay at this hotel for one night for my daughter 13 birthday weekend with the family, we arrive at the hotel Saturday at 4 pm and it was as I had book water view (not ocean, no beach access to this hotel, ever) you will need to cross the street, very dangerous to cross, so we went to the pool, and take in food got our towels and pool was full of drinks, cups dirty all over, but I didn't pay attention to that, we wer... nice pool. small room, double size beds too small. bathroom sink NOT inside the bathroom leaves nasty doorknob germs. Mandatory paid parking $23 EACH night for self parking around the side of the building with no side entrance was inconvenient and added on the high price already paying for this less than nice "upgraded" room for my platinum elite ihg membership.

Overall the hotel is nice and in a nice location, across the street from the ocean. The staff were pleasant and the rooms clean. The food was good but the drinks were expensive. One thing they didn??t tell me was that there was an 18% service charge automatically added to everything ?? room service I understand, that is pretty typical but going down to their restaurant or ordering a drink pool side? That should have been clearly stated at check-in. The service pool side was non-existent, I sp... Read more

We have stayed at this location every time we visited this area. The service is perfect and location to the beach is great even thought it is on the opposite side of the street. There is beach access right across from the hotel. The staff is always courtesies and on top of things if there is an issue.

This place has its drawbacks (not a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance and construction going on in the area), but the service was friendly and professional and the room spacious, clean and comfortable. I slept very well. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, so one could save on food and bev by stocking some of your own for breakfast at least. Uber car service is prompt and reasonably priced for getting around. In all, not bad.

I have stayed in this hotel in the past, but I have never experienced anything remotely close to this. I was settling down for the night and decided to get a quick shower. What I found were these little black worms crawling around (check out the picture attached). I was moved to a new room, but there was no effort to contact me to ask if I was ok in the new room. This is far from standard from a Crowne Plaza. The only reason I have not left this hotel is due to the late time, but I will not be s... Read more

The rooms and service in this hotel were good. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained and the bed was awesome. The free complimentary wifi worked well and was very much appreciated. At 150 $ a night the price is reasonable but some extras would have been welcome: I would have gladly switched out the daily complimentary USA Today newspaper for a cool bottle of water and perhaps some free nuts. Even a stocked minibar would have been better that the empty fridge. The American Full B... Read more

I have never felt the need to put a review up for a hotel before but was very disappointed with this hotel. Allocated room 1037 on arrival. Guy at front desk extremely friendly & made out this was an upgraded room. We put our bags in the room & off we went sightseeing & shopping at sawgrass mills outlet. Returned later (about 10pm) with loads of bags, got into our room to find we were right under the lift motors! The noise was horrendous! Felt like I was sleeping in the lift but was actually 3... The pool was amazing! There was a lot of seating and the palm trees made it feel like a tropical paradise. It also felt very private, which was very nice and unexpected. The room was very nice...the bed was super comfy. I didn't try and access the wifi, so I can't comment on that. What really made the stay was the staff and the property. The room is nice and spacious, really no complaints. There was a microwave, refrigerator and kitchen-like sink. The room also has a safe. Try to get a room overlooking the pool because otherwise your balcony will overlook a parking lot and it's nothing to look at. The bed is large and very comfortable. A special thanks to Terrence, Boatriz & Tomas for always going above, beyond and then just a little bit further to make our stay so great. They were all welcoming and attentive. Terrence made sure my aunt's personal preferences were always taken care of. Tomas and Boatriz couldn't have been friendlier or more on top of what they do. They were attentive, smiling and never too busy to be of help. My hat goes off to the three of them. Well done.
