Location was great for the graduation ceremony. The room was completely average, no make that below average, without a fridge or microwave. Smallish TV screen although didn't have much time for TV, and channel selection was poor. Bathroom door handle came off in the wife's hand leaving her locked in. They did replace it quickly. Complimentary continental breakfast was not included and was very pricey at $15.00+ per person for some horrible food. Sorry we didn't drive down to Panera Bread. Hilton... Read more

Bar food is very good, wine is O K. Shud have a list of the beers and wines you offer/ Change the cofee brand in the coffee macine in the bedroom. The beds are great. The thermostat is easy to manouvre (not in all hotels you can do this). The guest offerings in the bathroom help reduce the amount of stuff I have to take wth us for a 2=day stay (thanks) and they are good.

This Hilton, although a bit worn and torn is really very nice. The common areas and outdoor spaces are very well maintained. The rooms are worn, but clean, the beds extremely comfortable. The location is great, the pool is beautiful. The problem here is they have no food service on site. The restaurant is perpetually closed because they can't maintain a customer base. This is ridiculous, they hold conferences every day of the week. Why don't they hire a decent chef and fire up the kitchen? Hilto... Read more

The rooms cool down quickly (important in hot FL) and the beds are clean and comfortable. Water pressure is acceptable and gets hot quickly enough; great light in the bathroom for making up in the morning. Just go ahead and plan to eat offsite. The food is relatively awful, drinks over priced. There are decent food and drink options nearby and Uber serves the area. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a really good job.

This hotel is right across the UF campus. It is an easy walk to the UF rec center, and about a 15 minute walk to Lake Alice. It is located in a central location of Gainesville and it has a restaurant onsite. The rooms are in need of some updating though. The outside look of the property and lobby area are great, but the hotel needs to pay a bit more attention to the actual rooms.

This hotel did not live up to the Hilton name. The carpet was dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty, there was what looked like soda splatter on the back of the bathroom door and the bathroom vanity drawer was broken. What was nice were the cookies upon arrival in the lobby. There was also a nice, large magnifying mirror on the vanity. Upon checkout we were asked how our stay was and we mentioned all the items above. Their response was "sorry, we are going to renovate soon."

The hotel was quiet and the staff was great. At check in, they were incredibly friendly and cheerful. Later, the bartender, Sean was outstanding. He crafted cocktails and it was nice to have a little break after days of touring colleges with a high schooler. The AC in the room worked great and the additional make up area by the bathroom was handy, although if it had a sink it would have been better. There are no refrigerators in the rooms. Hotel found a room for me during hurricane Matthew at 11:00 pm. The hurricane came through the next day. Stayed indoors and enjoyed good food and service at their restaurant. The only problem was the price of the room during this period, I suppose because of the hurricane.

Great place to stay on campus! Dog friendly! Ideal location and very attentive staff! Rooms extremely clean! Great restaurant and bar on site. Walking distance to UF campus. Very friendly staff and very small ride to more restaurants and shopping...

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and professionalism of this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The room was well decorated and comfortable. The folks working in the Bar were fantastic - even as busy as they were on Homecoming weekend, they could not have been more helpful and efficient.

I was in town to visit my daughter, a college student. The Hilton is convinetly located across from the university. I have stayed here before and plan to return. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, and their front desk staff is welcoming and helpful.

This is the best place to stay in Gainesville! We stayed here with all our friends and family after my parents passed away. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and to accommodate our needs. We have stayed there several times in the past year, and the staff still calls us by name and greets us a friends. This is a very good hotel, but the staff makes it great!

This hotel is well run. The property is located adjacent to the campus. It is safe and clean. The rooms are a bit dated but acceptably clean. The hotel staff is excellent. Once the hotel updates the property it will be 5 stars for all categories.

Had an excellent stay at this hotel. We had great service and an awesome display of southern hospitality. Worth the price. I found the breakfast buffet to be slightly over priced... but on Sunday - the buffet included made-to-order omelettes, pancakes and French toast... that was a good value! Really enjoyed our trip!

Rooms were decent sized, and staff was friendly. Wish they had a mini fridge. I was also unable to control the room temperature. It was set at 67, and was told nothing could be done about it unfortunately.

Stayed there a couple of times recently. The hotel is conveniently located to the places we wanted to visit. Has an excellent breakfast bar, not included in the room price. The rooms are decent sized. The only thing missing was a mini fridg. Also, wish there was a way to make the A.C. fan stay on constantly. The shower had very poor water pressure, but that was not a problem on a previous stay in a different room.

Hilton UF Conference Center is in a great location for visiting the museums at UF and is close to both Florida Surgical Center and all of the activity along Archer Road. There were, however, some disappointments: The restaurant, Albert's, which is described on the website, is not serving. You must go to the bar for food. The room was spacious but 1) the clock was three hours behind and there was no way to change the time, 2) the floor lamp was not plugged in, and 3) there were scraps of paper a... Read more

This is a nice solid hotel: quiet rooms, spacious, friendly service, big gym and pool, very nice breakfast, quick elevators... slighter older in a good way. Some small negatives: terrible water pressure, no headphones at gym, in hotel restaurant is nothing special.

This Hilton hotel is well situated near the University (walking distance), the town and major shopping and dining places. They offer a complimentary shuttle service throughout the day to and from Gainesville. They also have free wifi. Service at the hotel is good and facilities in general are well kept and presented. My bathroom however could have received a bit more attention as the toilet leaked and bathtub felt dirty. There is also no bar fridge in the room.

As I write this review it is 3am. I am up because there was an annoying chirping in my room at 3am. I put clothes on and went into the hall to find out that it was a fire alarm. EVERYONE in my hallway is officially up including the screaming kids because it's 3am. 10 min later and it turned off. What's even more ridiculous is that my colleagues and I were down by the bar around 6pm. There were maybe 10 people at tables surrounding the bar and at the bar. It took 30 min for us to get could Toma... Read more

looks nice from the outside but disappointing, room was not clean, service at restaurant was terrible, the server was rude and the food was inconsistent. In addition it was so cold in the hallway that I could not get the room to be a comfortable temperature no matter how high I raised the heat.

My husband has a need to go to the movement clinic and your hotel provides the best service. It is a very relaxing place to retire to after those appointments. These appointments are very much needed for his Parkinson's Disease. Thank you so much for being so close and convenient.

We were made to feel welcome and were treated very well throughout our stay. Had an issue at lunch, but management took care of it appropriately. The rooms are well-appointed and clean. The breakfast buffet is impressive, and service is spot-on. Great coffee. Nice bar area for cocktails. Quesadillas are fantastic! Will return. Go Gators!

The hotel has a great appearance from the moment you walk in, it is very clean and has a luxurious feel to it. The rooms are very well kept and its a typical Hilton experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and a major plus, if you have dogs they are allowed.

I received the worse service from the restaurant ever. The service was terrible, the order was incorrect, ordered a medium burger and got a burnt one. Asked the waitress for a replacement and after fifteen minutes received my order, cooked medium but cold. After finishing and attempting to leave I was stopped by the waitress. Thinking she was going to apologize for the bad service and bad food, she read me the riot act. Told me she would not wait on me again because she thought that I was rude a... Read more
