They fixed it while we were out the next day, were very apologetic, but gave no consideration for the problem. I don't pay extra to stay at a Hampton Inn to deal with broken basics. Building itself is really showing its age, although the room itself was fine and staff was friendly.

I spent the weekend there and the hotel was spotless. I had a delicious hot breakfast that was included with my stay. Everyone at the hotel from the manager on down to the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The location is right off of I-75 and Archerin Gainesville on Archer so there was plenty of shopping and dining to be had. The pool was refreshing. I definitely would go back.

What a pleasant group of individuals working at the Hampton Inn. Everyone from the front desk, house keeping, breakfast staff and night crew were absolutely fantastic. They helped me track down my lost luggage no thanks to United, get directions and even wished my daughter luck playing at UF. Rooms were nice and clean. Definitely would recommend a stay here.

The complimentary breakfast could be better. I realize it is complimentary but it could be better. The eggs are the worst I have ever tasted. The staff are helpful and are accommodating. The fruit was good and the fact you can make your own waffles are a god send since the eggs are gross.

Very friendly staff at check in. Room was excellent. Pillows were too soft but that's a personal preference. Breakfast was good but a little cramped when selecting food. No biggie! I would stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located just off the interstate and close to decent restaurants, grocery stores and department stores. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very hospitable. Rooms on the non-parking lot side provide more darkness if that is your preference, but I found the rooms on that side to be gloomy, so I changed rooms to one across the hall and was satisfied with the light. The breakfast was a little nicer than a continental breakfast, but since they don't have a full ki... Read more

This is a very clean and quiet relaxing hotel with friendly, professional staff. The location is perfect, near many restaurants, Target, Walmart, Shands Hospital, VA Hospital. The hotel sits in a very quiet area surrounded by a forest of tall, shady trees, right off of I-75 at Archer Road.

Just checked into this hotel tonight and was amazed by Meghan at the front desk. I have been in the Hospitality industry for 10 plus years and she is a top notch employee. Beds are great and hotel is clean.... what a nice treat for our family road trip!

Customer service anywhere I stay is very important to me and the staff at the Hamptons made my stay one of the best anywhere. I checked in online, when I arrived my room was ready and beautiful, sound proof for the most part. I truly enjoyed my stay, the complimentary breakfast and the service provided by the wonderful staff.

My husband had surgery at Shands hospital. I stood here for 2 nights because we live about 2hrs away. The price was great, especially when I said my husband was at Shands they gave me a substantial discount!! The hotel is spotless, breakfast is the typical Hampton Inn breakfast, which is just fine. Even though it next to the highway, it was very quiet. Also there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Would stay here again.

We loved everything about this hotel. From the professional friendly staff checking in to the fantastic QUEEN beds that were the most comfortable we have ever slept in, to the breakfast food and staff and the quick, efficient and friendly and professional staff checking out. Overall the best place to stay and we travel frequently. We will definitely go out of our way to stay here again......Thank you Hampton!!!

Staff was friendly, Breakfast buffet was always full and warm, the staff went out of there way to help a gentleman out with his wife who was in a wheelchair, they even went to the point to get him a cup of coffee and a newspaper. We normally stay at Hampton Inns. Usually price is from 108-140, but some reason this room was tax and all 196 a night. It is not like we were at the beach, downtown or close to some great attraction. We are member of the honors program and like to stay at the inns, but we are really rethinking our options. The last couple we have stayed in we overpriced for the night. We I think of paying that price I am going to be on the beach or in the mountains not on the side on a busy interstate. Th... Read more

This was a great place to stop and spend the night on our way to the beach. We got in just before a big storm hit the area, with a huge downpoor of rain. The rooms were clean and quiet, a plus for me! Easy to get in and out of to/from the interstate. Breakfast was very busy the morning we checked out. They did run out of smoked sausages but quickly replaced with Biscuits and gravy. Breakfast is always an issue with me because I eat gluten free but I did manage to find several options. We would ... We have stayed at this hotel twice. Once for orientation at UF and once prior to dorm move in. This is a great location close to the university for parent visits. It is located right off I-75 and close to many stores and restaurants. It is very clean, the staff were very professional and the free, hot breakfast was a plus before starting our busy days at UF. Reasonable prices and you can even pick your room online before arrival!

Friendly staff, clean lobby and rooms but A/C in room too warm for July in Florida. The temperature gauge said 70 degrees but more like 78 degrees and lowering temperature gauge didn't help much since front desk indicated that the A/C for entire hotel will not go below 70 degrees for any part of the hotel or individual rooms. Great complimentary breakfast. Great location.

Stayed here earlier this month while on our trip through northern Florida wineries. Exactly what you would find with a Hampton Inn: friendly staff, clean room, and convenient to the I-75 interchange. The only issue we had (and it was not a major concern) was the complimentary breakfast area is tucked into a very cramped corner of the hotel just off of the lobby, and became quite congested with guests during the breakfast time.

During this visit I was going to be staying for more than my normal three days and I was able to find a great deal on my room through their website.
