"First, I want to comment on how clean the condo was. There is a cleaning fee so I expected the room to be spotless. It was!
The kitchen had everything you might need for cooking. The ice maker did not work and maintenance was promptly sent to our room. We had just bought ice but the ice maker never started working. We didn't mind because we had bought ice for our cooler anyway.
There are limited towels in the condo and I wasn't sure if we could get more. We just used beach towels that we had packed but others might want to bring their own towels.
Also, they provide samples of soap and one roll of toilet paper and a few trash bags. Bring soap, dishwashing tablets, paper towels and toilet paper! We knew this ahead of time so there was no inconvenience.
We were pleased with the free movie rentals and actually rented a few movies. It is like a red box with no fees. The rentals had several new releases as well as favorites that everyone likes.
The balcony was the best! Very pleased at the set up of the condos where every room gets a view of the ocean.
Our bed was a king size and very comfortable with nice sheets. Our daughter slept on the pull out in the den. She said it was not that comfortable but the sheets, pillows, and blanket were provided. I expect that pull outs are never that comfortable.
There is laundry on site. Washer is 1.00 and dryer is 1.00. We did not use the laundry facility.
Also, beach service is included so we got umbrella and chairs for no charge. The beach boy was very nice and sets everything up for you! Also, there is a shower to wash the sand off which is always very convenient to have. The pool was great and lots of places to sit or lay in the sun. Very refreshing after the ocean.
Parking was great and unloading and loading was not a pain due to the shopping carts and luggage carts they provide.
Island Echoes is close to several great eating establishments. Helen Back and Fuddpuckers were very close by. Helen Back has great pizza and is right on the water. There is a Tom Thumb nearby for ice or whatever you might need.
I would definitely come to island echoes again. And definitely would recommend to a friend due to how clean the condo is."
