"My overall stay was good, the only bad thing was that we could not check in until after 4:15 P.M. when check in was at 3:00 P.M. There was no one else in the lobby waiting but my family, which was frustrating. As we were waiting we saw 3 other groups come in behind us and check in. After all that waiting I have to say we really enjoyed our stay. Beds were soft and it is a quiet place to stay."
Directions from I-10 Crestview
Take the Crestview exit to Hwy. 85 South. Take Hwy 85 South toward Ft. Walton Beach. Take the SR 123 cut-off to Fort Walton Beach. SR 123 will connect again with Hwy. 85. Take a right onto Hwy. 85. The Okaloosa County Airport will be on your right. Stay on Hwy. 85 until you come to the town of Shalimar. Hwy 85 becomes Eglin Parkway. Continue straight on Eglin Parkway. You will go over the Shalimar Bridge and take a right at the first light onto Racetrack Rd. Drive two more miles and Cayo grande Suites Hotel will be on your right just past Choctawhatchee High School.
Directions from Okaloosa Regional Airport
Leaving the airport, turn left onto Hwy. 85 and continue until you come into the town of Shalimar. Hwy 85 becomes Eglin Parkway. Continue on straight on Eglin Parkway. You will go over the Shalimar Bridge and take a right at the first light onto Racetrack Rd. Drive two more miles and Cayo grande Suites Hotel will be on your right just past Choctawhatchee High School.
