The room is "OK." When we checked in, a guest was asking for a plunger--- never a good sign. The person checking us in was just putting in his time and didn't really have much initiative or enthusiasm. And, when we asked how u have the room was, he gave us a price (which was the same price I found on the web). We asked if that was the AARP rate and he said "Umm, yes." When I said that was the regular rate I found on the Internet, then he said "OH, you have AARP?" We replied in the affirmative,... Read more

Old rundown location. Rooms old and outdated. Restroom had rusty old fixtures. Room needed upgrade. Lamp broke and no one came to repair. The La Quinta by the airport far better. Elite member and ranked in top 5 worst stays. The Salt Lake location still ranks the worst

Currently here and by far on a scale of 1 to 10. I give it a 2. Only because the beds are ok. There weren't ANY other hotels available... so we are forced to stay. It smells in here, looks rundown, cheap, and borderline like a bum retreat. That's my opinion. And they are taking advantage charging $120 for this place on a holiday weekend. This place shouldn't be more than $50 bucks. I just might sleep in the car. I'm not even going to talk about the toilet and bathroom. I can't even get toilet... Read more

This hotel is worn and dingy, room had a musty smell and the towels were yellowed and dingy from over bleaching. Pool ashtrays were not emptied our entire stay and the breakfast had frozen waffles (not the batter and cook like we were used to at other LQ properties) no milk and warm yogurt. Very disappointed

I stayed here for 7 days at the beginning of the month I could say that I would do it again. Had a problem with the TV and it was fixed within minutes of notifying the front desk. My only complaint would be with the air conditioner; it makes a lot of noise by shutting on and off. For the price you are paying the service is excellent. The best thing about it, it's located next to practically everything you need to have a wonderful stay. Restaurants, strip malls, fast food places are all loca... Read more

The hotel reminded me of a motel 8 rather than a La Quinta. Garage sale furniture that was all stained, laminated cards looked like a gang of 2 year olds used them as mouth candy. The room smelled musty and looked like it was a run down hotel that got painted and swept but attention to detail was let go. It left me with the impression that it was recently an old hotel that was purchased and the term Lipstick on a Pig fit the experience. Customer service was better than I have received at some La... Great hotel clerk was very nice and helpful. He went above and beyond to help with a minute problem. I would recommend anyone to stay there. Its right in the middle of the city, everything is a few feet away. Restaurants, mall stores. The hotel is a bit expensive. Family friendly environment, safe.

It is an old hotel but clean and with friendly and helpful employees. Breakfast included. Family friendly environment and safe. Everything is near: freeway, mall stores, restaurant. Good for the money.

Had stayed here before but it has changed. Needs new carpeting and upgrades to compete with other LaQuinta Inns. Stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned once. Room was clean and towels were nice. Continental Bk had toaster waffles, boiled eggs and pastries. Parking lot has potholes. OK for overnight stay.

I gave a total review, bad one. not a good place to stay. roaches and worms. all over not acceptable. filthy carpet, got bottom feet dirty. very embarrassed for family with me. I made the reservations. internet looked good. place not taken care of. pet area needs bags for poop cleanup. not enough grass for a pet to even use. I feel a credit should have been given to me for it being so bad. I was afraid to go out at night for arguing in parking lot at 2 am. cigarette butts everywhere.

Dead worms and soaked carpet in first room. Second room they gave us was being worked on. Third room they gave, according to the clerk, had a "Drug Smell", so they gave us a bottle of room deodorizer! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

This hotel is extremely old and needs to be torn down. When I checked in and went to my room the AC did not work. The front desk person told me to turn the AC down and wait a while. I went to dinner and returned after 2 hours. The AC was still not working. I asked for another room. The AC worked fine in the second room, but the room was dirty and the carpet smelled-just like the first room. The only good thing was there was plenty of hot water in the shower, but the water did not drain well... Read more

Stayed one night recently. It's close to a lot of restaurants, things to do, etc.. Staff that checked me in were friendly and efficient. No issues with the room. There is a Mel's Diner located right next to the hotel if you're looking for somewhere to eat for breakfast in the morning.

average room for value, great staff, do not recommend for handicap because of bathroom design. Needs some upgrading but overall it was a great location 20 min to beach, 5 min to mall, restaurants everywhere walk or driving distance. Restauarant at the front of hotel going through renovation so abit dirty outside.

Hotel was nice and conveniently located to family. It has a nice restaurant next door and lots of other eating choices. The location is accessible to main roads and highways and makes this location a great place to stay in SW Florida.
