Most friendly staff I have ever experienced in a hotel. Thanks Michelle, Brian and the valet parking guys! They took immediate care of every question and request. The rooms are very clean and size is ok. I only wish the windows could be opened. The roof top bar together withe the roof top pool is a special bonus. Great views over Fort Myers. Will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay. It's walking distance to all the best downtown cafes, restaurants, and bars. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet with lovely, modern furnishings. We liked the Aveda toiletries provided. The rooftop pool was tiny, but still a great place to relax and layout. This hotel truly stands out because of the outstanding staff. Brian at the front desk went out of his way to help us plan daytrips and make sure we were comfortable. If we are in the area again in the future, thi... Read more

The hotel is centrally located in the river district that is full of quirky restaurants, bars and a riverside park and walkway. I was nervous staying in a mid-city hotel as I'm a really light sleeper. I called ahead since our dates were flexible to see if any major events were occurring. Oh no, I was told. It should be nice and quiet. As we arrived, the surrounding streets were blocked off for a giant motorcycle rally. A rock band stage was erected just below our room's window. There was so much... A quaint hotel in the downtown river district of Fort Meyers. The room is large, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom is huge. The bed was very comfortable. We found the rooms quiet. The rooftop bar is a great place for drinks and a view. There is a swimming pool on the roof too. The hotel is in a perfect spot to access the downtown area which has an eclectic vibe with some cool shops, great food, water, and green space. The staff is very attentive. Tame advantage of the valet parking. The roo... Read more

On arriving, we found some roads were closed for what turned out to be a Harley Davidson festival. It might have been possible to e mail us to warn us that the main entrance was on one of the roads closed ( Broadway I believe). Stopping outside a side door, I asked Reception if I could just check in with impunity, but was told that I would likely be towed away! Asking therefore for details of where the car park was, I was waved towards another corridor with a door onto the street, maybe Broadwa... Read more

This would have been an enjoyable stay, regardless anything special, seeing that Ft Myers and I are old company. What a surprise to arrive with Bike Night in full swing! The entire 10 blocks of downtown were blocked to vehicles larger than bikes or pedestrians. We parked in the city parking garage across the street and walked to the Indigo - $5 for 12 hours, then $1 an hour. 30 years ago the Indigo was a nondescript office tower and its lobby was one of a few all night diners in Lee county. Given the other options in the area are all pretty much the same roadside or airport hotel box, Hotel Indigo really is the place to stay in Fort Myers. The location is great, smack in the middle of Downtown Fort Myers, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and of course the water. My favorite part of the hotel was the rooftop bar which has sweeping views of the river and beyond. Without being overly critical, I was not a fan of the fake wood vinyl flooring in the rooms or the loud wal... Read more

This was a one-night stay, more of a stopover. The hotel is in a good position, a couple of blocks from the waterside. The room we were given was beautiful, on a corner with lots of windows. However, there were two drawbacks. One, the air conditioning unit was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep. Turning it off meant the room warmed up, and then the second problem became apparent: the plastic base sheet on the bed which induced serious sweating. So, a broken night's sleep. Thi... Read more

I am a frequent business traveler and typically a Hilton ( Gold status) or Marriott ( silver elite) as well. I gave the Indigo a try since it was close to the meeting, the night I was staying. The front staff was a nice gentleman when I checked in. I enjoyed my stay and the next day had this Jessica which had a rotten " polite" attitude. She should not be working in hospitality. Not flexible at all, a better than attitude. Should not be working there and should not interface with the public. I e... Read more

This hotel sucks. I had high hopes based on the location and a recommendation from a colleague, but I was very disappointed. I checked in and got my key card, but when I got to my room it had not been cleaned yet. The receptionist got me a new room, but really? You don't keep track of which rooms are clean and which rooms are dirty? That being said, the room was decorated nicely and was roomy. When I got to my clean room, there was only one extra power outlet free aside from the outlet in the b... Read more

I love this hotel and look forward to returning on future business trips! Great quality and quirky style typical of the brand. Excellent location downtown and walkable to many great restaurants! Only downside was the hotel restaurant closed 3 hours early on Sunday! I arrived at 7pm to be told the restaurant & room service was closed early. I was very disappointed as an on site restaurant was one of the reasons I booked this hotel.

Stayed in Fort Myers just to get away and this was definitely the right place to do it! Staff was very helpful at the front desk. It was nice to have so many options locally. Spent a day on the beach, which was easy to get to from the downtown area then spent the night on the hotels rooftop bar. The bartender was awesome. I will be back here if I ever visit that area again.

I just had to remake my bed, which has 2 sheets, a blanket, and a comforter, all askew in various ways and tucked in a couple of feet at the foot of the bed. And the pillows are those tiny little squares the size of throw pillows. Grr. I ordered room service from the restaurant downstairs but, it turns out, it is really just in room delivery, so I had to eat my steak with a plastic fork and knife out of a styrofoam container. I'm just grouchy today. The room is nice enough. Shower is love... Read more

I travel often and rely on TripAdvisor reviews when booking my hotels, but have never left a review myself. This is a first for me - and unfortunately it's not a good one! I was happy to find this hotel for our recent travel to Ft. Myers. My husband and I have to travel to Ft. Myers 4+ times in the coming months. I love the hotel's location, so I was planning to stay there again. The hotel was ok - definitely not up to other "boutique" hotel stays I had had in the past, but it was good e... Read more

I had the opportunity to stay at the Ft Myers Indigo Hotel property this past weekend. To those who do not know its location, it is located in the downtown area of Ft Myers. The building was the former post office. The Location is in the middle of the vibrant night district that is full of bars and food places next to the river. My wife and I recently visited Hotel Indigo for our anniversary and loved it. It's very quaint and charming with spacious rooms and proximity to a fun vibrant downtown. Upon check in we spent time at the hotel bar adjacent to the registration and had a great conversation with the bartender. The rooftop bar is unique and the pool is nice however small. But it fits perfect to the style of hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

Found this chilling in my drawer! The front desk and service overall was good. In general, I thought the room was clean when I checked in. That's why I was a little disappointed when I found a torn condom wrapper in my night table drawer. I guess it is not a dirty condom. It just makes me wonder what else was not clean and overlooked. So disappointed. ..it is really a nice hotel otherwise.

My wife and I recently decided to have a one-night "staycation" away from the kids and so spent the night at the Hotel Indigo...our first stay here. Very nice hotel and overall experience. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms were. It was more like a small condo than a hotel type room. We were in a corner room, so we had lots of windows. We liked the location as it was within walking distance to nice restaurants. The pool is nice and has a great view from the rooftop. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

My boyfriend wanted to have a special going away night because he is leaving for work for a few weeks. I explained this to the hotel clerk prior to booking the room. I told him that we wanted a room overlooking the Caloosahatchee River for a romantic evening. He told me that that he had one on the corner of the building and charged me $234 for a King Room. When we checked in the room it was bare bones bed and dresser with table and two chairs. The view consisted of a roof top of another buildin... Read more

I must say that being a local resident and having referred so many people to Hotel Indigo based on it's location and appearance, I am beyond disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed primarily by the General Manager, Ms. Catheryn O.
