Visited FMB twice in 3 weeks, this time staying at the Shipwreck. I had viewed at the room before departing from my first trip, and I couldn't wait to get back. Thoughtfully appointed, this is a delightful room. Walking in the front door, you enter the bedroom with a private bathroom off to the right, from there into the full galley kitchen with toaster/mic/coffeemaker that opens to a dining area/sitting room with a television and a sofa that folds out into a bed. From that space, your back do... Read more

Had a great time at the shipwreck. Clean and comfortable rooms. Our housekeeper Paula was fantastic and had a smile on her face daily. Made our stay there very enjoyable. Will definitely come back again.

We stayed a week at the Shipwreck and had a good time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "Rose" in housekeeping was very helpful. The location is GREAT even though the rooms are small and older. We had a small kitchen which is very helpful in cutting cost of always eating out. Would stay here again.

Most friendly staff i have ever met, extremely accommodating with our crazy flights, and THE BEST LOCATION to visit everything fun and yummy on this island! Paula made sure we had clean rooms and towels and smiled every morning as we struggled thru our morning coffees.

Stayed here for 5 nights and a great price. It is in a great location and within walking distance to the beach and ALOT of restaurants and shops. The place was very clean, although the room was kind of small it did have a kichenette in a seperate room. We didn't use the pools because it was a little cooler but they have 2 smaller pools. Very cute place! I would definitely stay here again!

Shipwreck is ideally located in the heart of all the action in Fort Myers, without being in the center of the noise. The motel is set back behind Old San Carlos Blvd., with a beautiful view/walk way along a private inlet. The motel is older and quaint, always clean (thanks to Rose and her staff!). There are two pools to enjoy when the Gulf water is too choppy, or the winds are kicking up sand. Finally, the staff is a delight. Everyone is pleasant, attentive and seem to enjoy being there. W... This place is awesome, quiet and very clean. I met Rose the housekeeper and she does an awesome job and was very helpful and friendly. The room was cozy and close to the pool although we do not swim. It was peaceful and the check in clerk was quite friendly and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend this quaint motel.

Not Glamorous, but fully functional **Glam comes at a price** Stayed in the Kitchenette Room and LOVED it!!!! My Tween Son and I stayed here and are looking forward to returning in the spring. Hotel Staff asks what they can do better? I was honest, it was time for a new shower head, they noted my room number and were going to address it right away. Not too many locati... Read more
