Quiet, clean room, private pool, and 1 block walking distance to beach, shops and everything! Staff are helpful and provide anything you need for a comfortable stay! I have stayed at this location for years, and enjoy it every time!

We stayed in probably nicest room and it was ok. The whole place needs maintenance. There are things that may be unsafe (telephone jacks with exposed wires, electrical boxes sticking out of the wall, I believe our room at termites). The area needs to be cleaned everyday (outside area, by the docks). It has so much potential, but did not meet our expectations. The staff is nice, cleaning staff is nice but because of the unkept nature of this place, we will not stay there again.

I made last minute arrangements to visit Fort Myers Beach and I had never been there before. I wanted to be within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The motel is very cute, the rooms is great shape for a motel. The rooms are small but really all we needed. If you are looking for a resort, this is not the place, but our rooms were 46 & 47 facing the pool. There aren't many during the week, so we almost had the pool to our selves. We walked to breakfast at Pete's, dinn... Read more

Jaye was very friendly ,helpful ,welcoming . Very close to beach, shopping and eateries. Room was small but clean, still had a microwave, and small frig. A great boat dock, and plenty of places to sit. tiki style covered tables to enjoy the view of the water.

Old Florida style motel. Great place to dock boat and can see from room if you're concerned about that like my husband was. Jaye accommodated that request for us. She was great! We had a group of couples stay the weekend and used the tiki / dock area for festivities. No problems like some of the bigger hotels as it sits back behind the store. Able to walk everywhere. Close restaurants, shops, etc.

I never stay anywhere else since I found this place. the rooms are bright and clean with a beachy decor. The staff is awesome, friendly, helpful and always accessible. The location is perfect right in the heart of times square. The room rates are reasonable. Jaye is awesome, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Location...location...location. 2 minute walk to the beach. Multiple restaurants and shops nearby. You can park your car when you get there and never move it till you leave. Rooms are old but nicely redone. Need some type of shelf in the shower. Table in room 24 is very wobbly. Sitting out back by the channel was wonderful. Quiet with a great breeze. Overall good experience

We are so happy that we decided to stay here at the Shipwreck! The property is located in the heart of the beach district...with the beach and many restaurants within walking distance. Our room by the pool was quaint, clean, and very comfortable. I wish that we were able to stay longer...just to enjoy the multiple outside areas to sit overlooking the canal, the pool, and the beautiful landscaping. The staff was excellent and accommodating, especially Jaye! We will be back!

Great little place. Clean room, decent space with kitchen, perfect location in the heart of it all. Would go back. Met some great people at the pool. 2 pools, on water, close to beach, walk outside the door to shopping, dining, beach, nightlife. Need I say more?

The motel has a great location with an excellent boat dock. Close walking distance to restaurants, the beach, and the inter-coastal waterway. Not very fancy, but economically priced and close to the heart of FMB. Debbie was very helpful during check in.

I am absolutely in love with this motel. They are the most friendly people and Jaye is heaven sent. We had to be moved out of our original room due to water issues. They more than made up for the inconvenience. My family and I were upgraded to a beautiful beach house overlooking the water. I was in awe. It really was one of the best experiences I've had in quite a long time. Thank you Jaye for all you did to help us out. And thank you for the beautiful room.

The room was perfect for our needs. So close to everything that we never got back in our car for the entire trip. We enjoyed the pool and the dock. Would definitely stay here every time we are in town. Shelly was so helpful with everything! She made our stay even more enjoyable!

We arrived by boat and upon our arrival check in was simple and quick. Staff is friendly and inviting. Our room wasn't quite ready because we arrived early but once they knew we were there it was ready in about 30-40 mins. The housekeeper did an excellent job, the room was clean and tidy and she even returned before the end of her shift to be sure we didn't need anything before she left for the day. (unfortunately, I don't remember her name) Room had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen... Read more

They were doing some remodeling, but that did not keep us from enjoying our week. Very attentive staff. Will go back. Plenty of eating spots near, and just a short walk to the beach. Just look for the Shipwreck Store, as the checkin is in there.

Small pool. Few amenities. Small and dated rooms. However, super nice staff, real cozy place, and within an arm's reach of the beach and a wide choice of terrific restaurants. A view of canals, palm trees, and gorgeous sunsets. Can't ask for more than that! I appreciated the diligence, honesty, and consideration of housekeeper Nuria who found my treasured necklace and made sure it was returned to me. Thank you, Nuria!

My Usual hotel wasn't available for all the days I planned to stay at Ft. Myers Beach this pass week so we booked a room at the Shipwreck. Not really knowing what to expect when we drove up to the parking lot, I was pleasantly surprised once we got in the room. It was a good size with two queen beds, tiled floors, a dresser, a closet, a small table for two and offered a nice size kitchenette with a large coffee pot. As we walked around the charming multiple buildings we found a very inviting doc... Read more

We have stayed on Fort Myers Beach several times and have tried other hotels, but this was by far the best stay yet! The room, view and the location were excellant. We are getting ready to book again....one last trip before summer ends. Jaye was very nice at check in/check out....love the store too!

We live close by in Fort Myers but wanted to get away for the weekend on our boat. They had plenty of dock space to accommodate boats. Although we have walked by it many times we weren't sure what to expect as far as staying there. We were pleasantly surprised with this little gem. It was quaint, the rooms were newly updated and the staff was very nice and friendly, They had two pools and cute little areas where you can grill and eat by the pool. Plenty of tropical trees and pavers for walkways.... Read more
