First of all, they have a wonderful staff, but that's the only thing good about this place. The furniture was all chipped & even had marker or crayon on it. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, but if you paid $10.00/day, you could have one!!?? We must have gone through a dozen room keys because they worked one time & then they didn't. They have tennis courts, but they had lots of cracks in the pavement so I would advise not using them unless you want a sprained ankle or broke... Read more

The staff is very friendly, but the hotel can make a lot of adjustments. The food was horrible and the rooms are all outdated. The pool area was nice and relaxing. I wouldn't stay here again. We stood because the grand celebration cruise line offered us a discount to stay. In order to get the discount we needed to go to a time share thing and it was horrible. These people will keep you there for 6-7 hrs trying to force you to buy there time shares. Never again.

This stay was booked through vacation package by my husband. We initially believed the hype that we were going to a resort property, until we kept driving west away from Fort Lauderdale and then saw this property. Oh wow, it's almost beyond description. The property is old, structural damage to all parts of the room. The hallways smell like old wet sponges. The food is inedible. The property is located in an uninviting area of town. Good value for what we paid for our room. Very friendly staff (other than one young lady at the registration desk) especially in the dinning room. The manager went out of her way to introduce herself and insure everything was as it should be. The quality of the room was poor. The toilet overflowed about 2 days into our stay after we simply flushed it with only urine in it. On our second to last night, the AC stopped working. Besides those, the beds were quite comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was on point. Their french toast is amazing. I wouldn't recommend though.

I would like to give this hotel a better review based on first impressions when you walk in. Front desk and lobby is very welcoming and professional. Probably one of my best check ins and even a welcome call was waiting when I got to the room. Room was comfy and clean, outdated but clean .... but hallway reeked of weed and I went outside twice and at any given time tons of people just hanging out in the parking lot and again walked through two clouds of weed there and back .... this needs to ... We arrived here at 11pm at night after 25 hours of traveling from Australia. The staff were pretty disinterested in assisting us to understand what we needed to do with respect to our holiday package. I left my Passport in the Welcome Centre bot no one would help me to unlock the place for me to retrieve it. The cleaner on night duty was terrific and did everything he could to assist. The breakfast is terrible. Eggs are made of powder or liquid eggs and tasted terrible. There were no other suita... Read more

I had on the worst hotel experience in this place. If you are traveling for business , please stay away. First and foremost, the WiFI is an embarrassment, it is weak, slow and you never stay connected for more than a few minutes at the time. Also if you are business person and have very little time to waste, you might have to forego the breakfast.. It is buffet style low quality and they offer no option for take away or on the go.. so if you don't waste your time sitting there.. you are out of l... Read more

The property looks good from the outside, but if you arrive after 11PM, be prepared to park in the far corner of the lot, as it's PACKED. The hotel has obviously not been remodeled in some time. The bed and the room in general were very clean, but I had serious trouble getting a good night's sleep here because this place is LOUD - lots of tourists and families making noise. My room had a door that connected to another suite & I could hear them talking well into the night. The tub looked pristine... Read more

If you're a park and cruise customer you're taking a risk parking you car for a length of time. The parking lot is lit, however the property is surrounded by closed/boarded up business, vacant lot and a fenced off construction site. I did not see any additional security at night or early morning. Access to the parking lot can be made unseen by staff and concealment is abundant along the perimeter of the parking lot. The hotel site itself is antiquated and run down. Doors do not fit the frames, ... Read more

First off the hotel is Very Old & it clearly shows it age & lack of investment in remodeling or trying to keep it up. You truly get what you pay for. I paid about $60.00 per night for 3 nights through Priceline.com. The front desk was very kind and quick to get me checked in. The hotel is HUGE, long long long hallways & 5 floors and very low ceilings in the halls & dark. The outside areas are nice, very nice. Especially around the swimming pool, hot tub & Tiki Hut Bar. The front of the hotel loo... Read more

We stayed here as part of a package cruise deal and got in late. The staff were friendly enough. The water is yellow. Yes, you read that correctly. Yellow. Apparently they're aware of this, as there is mention of it in the book they leave in the room. They claim it's been tested and is safe to drink. It seemed to smell and taste ok and I haven't gotten sick or grown any extra appendages (at least not yet, anyway), so I suppose it is. They don't mention the reason the water's yellow. Beware of accepting a free cruise to the Bahamas from Holiday Cruise Lines that requires you to stay at this hotel and check in to the Visitor's Center upon your arrival. They scammed us and most of the people who stayed at this hotel during the same time into going on a so called "2 Hour" presentation taking place 30 minutes away and required that we pay a $40 deposit which was returnable at the end of the presentation in order to reserve our attendance. Room was nicely air conditioned. We had plenty of clean towels and found no hair or bugs, thank goodness! The carpet was ew, we just kept our shoes on. This place has got to be one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. The room was ugly, outdated and looked disgusting. The food. Don't even get me started on the food. It's really bad. Low quality. I didn't even take any pictures while i was here. Wanna know why? Because it was horrible that's why. This is not a reflection of the staff. The staff on the other hand were kind and pleasant. That's it because the staff was horrible, the rooms have mold in them, 6 channels on the tv, pool looks like cesspool, Smells of wet dog and an ashtray. We could continue on an on this is the worst place we have ever stayed and we travel often(this was one stop on our honey moon also) one last thing plz don't feed children any of the food here it is very questionable.

Let's start with the negative: I hated this hotel!! First of all we were not able to sleep. There was always loud music or people talking even after midnight. Then the property is really old, if definitely not the same shown on the pictures. My expectations were not fulfill. Also we got fleas on our beds and my friend and I got bitten during our staying. The only positive thing I will say about this property was the staff. They were really polite and friendly. They helped us a lot when we needed... Read more

Hotel property was nice and clean, just a few complaints about the room I stayed in for one night. Bathroom tiles and grout was very soiled, the king size bed was to one side of the room therefore plugs were not close to the bed and the other was behind the bed head was unable to reach plugs to charge phone and laptop. Other than that it was OK.

Pool, hot tub and Tiki bar were decent. Bartender Diego was cool. Food in "restaurant" was buffet style. Cafeteia food at best. After reading some negative comments, I was a bit wary. Maybe I was lucky. I didn't experience any of the negative circumstances others described. My room was clean and everything worked and smelled fine. This is not a luxury hotel and it has not been refurbished recently so it does have a slightly worn appearance and the color scheme could be a bit more cheerful. I booked through Trip Advisor and got a great rate, much lower than the $100 level which I think would be fair and competitive.

To be sure this 1970s era property has received some nice updates but it remains 40+ years old and with ongoing maintenance issues not addressed proactively by the staff. The reception staff seems to have been instructed not to challenge any one entering the premises or using the guest facilities. The rear door to the hotel supposedly on key card access was all but once unlocked, even at night.
