First of all, they have a wonderful staff, but that's the only thing good about this place. The furniture was all chipped & even had marker or crayon on it. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, but if you paid $10.00/day, you could have one!!?? We must have gone through a dozen room keys because they worked one time & then they didn't. They have tennis courts, but they had lots of cracks in the pavement so I would advise not using them unless you want a sprained ankle or broke... Read more

The staff is very friendly, but the hotel can make a lot of adjustments. The food was horrible and the rooms are all outdated. The pool area was nice and relaxing. I wouldn't stay here again. We stood because the grand celebration cruise line offered us a discount to stay. In order to get the discount we needed to go to a time share thing and it was horrible. These people will keep you there for 6-7 hrs trying to force you to buy there time shares. Never again.

This stay was booked through vacation package by my husband. We initially believed the hype that we were going to a resort property, until we kept driving west away from Fort Lauderdale and then saw this property. Oh wow, it's almost beyond description. The property is old, structural damage to all parts of the room. The hallways smell like old wet sponges. The food is inedible. The property is located in an uninviting area of town. It does have a pool, "tiki bar", nail shop and a "gif... Read more

room was clean staff was ok walls were so thin all I could hear was my neighbors from the time I arrived to the time I left! Also there was no coffee available in the lobby which was sad due to the fact that the restaurant didn't open until 7am.

Good value for what we paid for our room. Very friendly staff (other than one young lady at the registration desk) especially in the dinning room. The manager went out of her way to introduce herself and insure everything was as it should be. We were a party of ten booking five rooms, due to an accident just prior to our traveling two couples were unable to go. In order to receive a preferred rate for our rooms they were pre paid and non refundable. However with out be asked the manager who note... Read more

The quality of the room was poor. The toilet overflowed about 2 days into our stay after we simply flushed it with only urine in it. On our second to last night, the AC stopped working. Besides those, the beds were quite comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was on point. Their french toast is amazing. I wouldn't recommend though.

Chose this place because my husband had stayed here before. The downstairs rooms are nice but the ones by the pool are noisy....we had our 1st floor room changed and I'm glad we did because there were people in the pool till 10pm or later! Our room, 221 had a faint smell of mildew, there was obviously a water problem on the floor...the bathroom floor was stained and ugly and the vanity was falling apart. The TV was tiny and most of the channels didn't work...ABC was full of snow, impossible t... Read more

A friend and stayed from 5/17/ to 5/24/16, and also took the Grand Celebration cruise to the Bahamas.. We had a wonderful time both at the hotel and on the ship. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool, Hotub and Tikibar were great.. Much more than expected! Would definitely recommend it and can't wait to do it again!

The location was close to shopping centers, restaurants, fast foods and the airport. Room was neat and clean and was kept that way for the 5 days we were there. We ate breakfast every day but the selection could have varied just a little more.

My stay was enjoyable except for internet connection. Reported the problem, however, this was not resolved up to my time of checking out. Front desk staff was pleasant and efficient at checking in and checking out. Room was clean and comfortable.

The food was terrible and mad us feel crappy. There was no refrigerator in the room so we couldn't save left overs from eating out or keep drinks cold. The service was friendly and the pool was nice, it had nice shaded areas and a pool bar. We drunk piƱa coladas and they were a decent size for the price. We didn't hate it but we wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed here for part of our vacation w 2 kids. The rooms were clean but didn't offer tv stations for kids to watch while relaxing. The pool was in a nice area to sit and enjoy the weather. The food was absolutely terrible and not worth the money you would pay for it. Even with a free voucher, we still had to pay. Save your time and money and go out to eat!

As other reviews have mentioned this place is just not right. Put there by a time share group, not a smart move. Check in at 10 PM and desk person was polite. Dead tired. Parked in back and the security door was open. Found a very large bag of room trash in our hallway. Entire place smells of cleaning agents. Room was OK but dated. Did not use any amenities. Sadly there was a group of brain dead individuals about 6 to 8 out back and we could clearly hear them laughing and talking till 3... Read more

Excellent staff made this trip great, but this hotel needs a major renovation. The grout was originally white in the bathroom but is now black. Food was cafeteria style. We came here before our trip to the Bahamas for a couple of days. One of our friends called it the slumada and I agree.

The staff who checked us in the after the cruise, was not friendly at all. The lady in the gift shoppe that night was just wonderful.. The waiters and Waitress in the dinning room very nice. We got lured in to book a cruise on the Grand Celebration to the Grand Bahamas with a 3 day 2 nights on the Island at the Grand Lucayan Resort along with a 3 day 2 night accommodation at the Ramada Plaza Resort Ft Lauderdale with complimentary buffet dining and a 7 day free car rental. It sounded really good. It was a disappointment the day that we flew into Ft Lauderdale and went to pick up the car rental. The hotel was ok Rooms were pretty nice I wish there was a fridge but you could get one for 10 bucks a night but we didn't. The food oh my god we have hospital food that was better. There are a lot of place to eat out side of the hotel. The staff were nice and helpful. If you here for the grand celebration you have to do a " 2 hour max" time share presentation that is really 5 and a half and turns out that is the normal length of time it take and it takes you hole day. I'm really trying to understand how the management/owner is allowing this place to operate in this condition. I stayed here as part of the Grand Celebration cruise package to the Bahamas. The package provides two nights in Fort Lauderdale but we only did the one night before the cruise but that was one second too many. First, the front desk clerk was very nice & did here best to try to make things right but her control was limited. The first room we were assigned to we had a foul odor like a men... Read more

This was a good stay and a great location. The room was clean and on the first floor as requested. The breakfast was not very good though. There was not even a hard roll. I would have liked to have gotten my Wyndham Rewards points too but the front desk declined to add my account number to the record.

I stayed here with my family only because I thought I needed to for the travel vouchers for my vacation package. I was scheduled for two but could not imagine staying another night so I paid my own money for a better hotel. This place should be condemned! The back entrance smelled horribly of animal (or human??) pee and I had to hold my breath. The sheet had a few hairs on them, and we just couldn't get out soon enough!

If it was terrible we would just go get a room somewhere, but we were apart of Celebration cruise ,so felt we needed to stay . The room was aweful floor wet and there was no light in the bathroom. Haha . We stayed out late to come back ro notice the lights ans wet floor. We had already purchased sheets . Let's say we slept with one eye open. Bright and early we checked out ... Read more

Time share travel company put us up here. We were pleasantly surprised with out stay. The hotel is an older property, but it was kept fairly clean and the staff at the hotel were very polite, professional and courteous. The menu options at the restaurant were limited, but still a decent variety. Though we had meal passes from the timeshare travel group, we didn't eat here everyday during our stay.
