We picked a room on the top floor of the tower overlooking Port Everglades to the south. Great water views and we could still see the beautiful sunsets. While the traffic noise from the 17th street causeway bridge was noticeable from the balcony, the room was totally quiet. The pool area was very clean and the servers very friendly. Food and drinks are moderately priced but very good. This is a gateway hotel for the ports cruise ship traffic and a great choice for a before or after cruise stay. ... Read more

Stayed here for 5 nights after a manic 3 nights in NYC doing all the sights. Very quiet by the marina, some lovely yachts to admire, easy access into FL town and los olas boulevard. Food in hotel was limited to a good but "treat" Thai restaurant, otherwise poolside bar food. Breakfast was grab and go, and pretty busy at peak times, not always suited to a relaxing break. Pool was a busy spot, with sunbeds and umbrellas at a premium. A mix of business people, tourists coming off or waiting to joi... Read more

Arrived Saturday and stayed in a pool lanai suite. The location is beautiful but that's where it all ends. We walked in to the room to find worms throughout the room. I stopped picking them up after I had found that they were everywhere. I talked to the manager and he was helpful and apologetic but I have never seen worms in a hotel room before. The next day we came back from a day out and found that they had not made up the room at all. It was 5pm and the staff had gone home for the day. Not su... Read more

This hotel could use updating on the inside. The mattress was worn out and uncomfortable. The staff were very nice, but there were not enough of them. Bar service was glacially slow. Room service was literally delivered to me in a paper sack. I was unable to get anyone to answer the phone when I attempted to call front desk (5 times), concierge, or bell desk. People here are nice, but serve is poor.

Stay only one night before cruise, wish I got to stay longer. EVERYONE who works for Hilton fabulous. From check in to poolside customer service deserves your top scores. The day food manager stepped in to ensure things running smoothly when things got busy. I quess my favorite thing was the fun and relaxing environment. Want to go back soon!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. I chose it to avoid paying some of the high resort fees right on the beach. Boy am I glad I did. The pool area was awesome. The staff was very nice. I would recommend for sure. I wished I could have spent another night and really enjoyed some downtime there.

I was here for a couple of nights before our 7 day cruise. This was a very nice property with a nice pool, a little cafe and a couple of restaurants. The gym was very small with I believe no free weights. My parents had the Marco Suite on property (2 stories) and it was very very nice. When self parking make sure to use room key to come and go. 1 reason why this doesn't receive 4 stars is because of the experience I had trying to get someone to make an amenity for my parents pre arrival.

This hotel was located in a decent neighborhood, with restaurants and other stores within walking distance. The staff was nice and helpful. The quality of the room was just ok for a Hilton Hotel. This Hilton is located right on the Ft.Lauderdale Marina and very affordable compared to the surrounding hotels. Hotel was very nice and service good, it was in a nice area with a beach shuttle that goes to the local beach everyday that is free. The only thing was the $159 bill we were slyly given for valet parking, when we didn't even have a car. So make sure you check all pages of the bill given. We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the convention center. The location convenience was not worth the poor service and rude behavior of some of the staff. Read on for details. Our flight to Orlando delivered us to our destination before check-in time. The front desk said we could store our luggage with the bellman until our room was ready. We walked our luggage over to a waiting bellman, Eric, who proceeded to tell us that we arrived too early for check-in to the hotel, somethin... Read more

The hotel staff did not seem to want to help. The On Duty Manager was the only person how took time to address my questions. My dissatisfaction began when I first called to see if the hotel had an airport shuttle. I was told that it didn't. I as given no options and had to ask how to get to the hotel and the clerk in an irritated fashion told me to take a cab. My next experience was with the actual check-in. I arrived about 2:30 pm. I was checked in and then informed that my room wasn't r... Read more

Nice, clean classy city resort atmosphere. Located right on the intercoastal waterway with superb views of downtown skyline and waterway (if you get a room on the northside of the tower). Staff is friendly and amenities are what you would expect from a hotel of this class.

We arrived late and went straight to bed we were boarding a cruise the next morning. Charge for bottled water left on the table ridiculous. When we got up the next day we noticed the room had dust everywhere and hair all over the floor and bedside locker. We complained and went to the desk we were told we would get the room money back and it would go straight to our tour operator. We had to keep ringing and our tour operator managed to get us 25 euros back but we were promised 120 dollars. Very ... Read more

This hotel is perfect if your looking to relax and chill by the pool. It's also close the beach and restaurants. Do you like looking at boats and Yahats then stay here. Sit by the marina at night and be mesmerized by the lights reflecting off the water from the drawbridge.

This is my 3rd time staying at this property in the past 4 years. While there is nothing "perfect" about this hotel, I really enjoy the views (especially the drawbridge/ cruise port view), the value and the proximity to everything. You could pay an extra couple hundred per night to be right on the beach, but why?

My family of 5 stayed here in July of 2016. The room was not ready until after 4:00 pm with no explanation. I had previously called the hotel 2 times to verify that I would be able to get a cot put in my room and was told I could not order it in advance and they guaranteed that it would be available for my stay. When we arrived I was told that they stopped offering cots 4 years ago and I was given the wrong information. No effort was given to trying to solve my problem so my child had to sle... Read more

Thoroughly enjoyed my 2nd time staying at this hotel!! Staff was very helpful and rooms' windows were so well made it didn't hear any cruise ships as they left port. The bedding was sooo comfortable that was so easy to fall asleep!! Love this hotel and will definitely come back.

We stayed for two nights in the Hilton Marina while visiting the convention center. Which is by the way on walking distance! The rooms are nice and clean, the view is great and we had a corner room with a L-shaped balcony. The service is ok, we only had a lot of trouble with a telephone bill which their system messed up. Over a hundred 'ghost calls' had to be removed from the bill manually.

VERY CONVENIENT to port using shuttle! A great location to relax before or after your cruise! Location adjacent to marina is excellent. Take advantage of water taxi tour which highlights the opulent residences of the "rich and famous". A must do...inexpensive and informative! Many restaurant offerings in and around hotel. The facility could use a few updates but as we were only staying for a night it was more than adequate.

I really wanted to LOVE this hotel. Great location across the street from the convention center-5 minute walk. The rooms were very nice, and bed very comfortable. The food is fabulous. My only real complaint is the desk staff. I don't know if it's a training issue, or a management issue, but they need some coaching on customer service. Mind you, they're not bad, just no what I expected from Hilton.

I highly recommend this hotel for whatever type of visit. The rooms are super clean and the service is top notch. Was able to get food from the bar at 11:45 pm even though the menu said they only served food till 11 pm. The gentle man at the bar was super friendly and had no problem accommodating us with a bite to eat. Joshua at the breakfast buffet went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. My husband cannot eat pork, so Joshua was able to get him an order of turkey sausage and bacon which... Read more

I was checked into rooms in the east villa. Smelled of mold & mildew. Looked outside to a great view of mold and mildew on the walls and ceiling. I have pictures of rotting beams and much more. After calling down to the desk, I was transferred twice before speaking with a manager. I was moved to a room in the tower, no mold and mildew but the bathroom was dirty. There were recent shavings in the sink and on the counter. I have view of a bridge vs the view that I had booked and paid for. Breakf... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of our vacation. Check in was smooth and we were able to park in the self-parking area which cost $25 per day. We did however, need to return to the front desk because our room key had not been activated to operate the self-parking gates, which we found out when we tried to leave the self-parking lot and eventually the man in the car behind us came to our rescue and used his room key to operate the gates so that we could leave. I stayed here for about almost a week and it was not anything special. The location was perfect for our event at the convention center and very close to the beach. The staff were about average. The lobby was clean and well kept. The fitness center was not bad at all but it would have been nice if the key lock for access had actually worked. None of the key card access points were actually secured. I stayed in the west villa and the ice machine on the 2nd floor was not working the first night t... Read more

The resort is older on the outside, but the rooms were beautiful and well appointed. We only spent one night. The location was perfect for a evening walk on the beach (we had to drive over, but that's ok). The airport wasn't far away at all. I loved the feeling of looking out over the canal. It was relaxing in the evening.

The room is fine, nothing special, but the "free internet" is a typical corporate bait and switch. There are several internet choices, including the ubiquitous club membership and coupon, plus "premium" for $10/day. The free guest member access is terrible, you get disconnected reportedly and subsequent connection opportunities don't even include the free guest access.

We had a wonderful 9 night stay at this hotel. All Staff members were friendly and helpful. We upgraded to a Hilton Honors Floor and had a great view of the Intercoastal Waterway and pool. We enjoyed the varied dining options in the hotel. We especially enjoyed the friendly servers in the Waterways Breakfast Room. Location was close to Fort Lauderdale water taxi and good restaurants.

My wife and I stayed here recently while at a conference, which was at the convention center next door...very convenient location. We had a corner room with a balcony on a high floor and the views to the north of the intracoastal were lovely. Staff were friendly enough, but not exceptional. This is a "resort" hotel, so read that as not a particularly good value. The hotel has some years on it. We are Hilton Honors members, but this did not count for much. The hotel itself was good, clean room, friendly staff, but both the pool bar and indoor bar shared the same menu. As long as you are planning to go out for a meal a few times rather than eating in, this hotel is a great destination. Also, as the hotel is mainly for the meeting rooms nearby, the pool is often deserted during the day, giving the pool area just to you.
