I have stayed here three times now and never had any problem. The hotel is always clean, comfortable and the staff is welcoming. A great value when you want to be downtown or near Wilton Manors. The hotel is starting to show its age and would benefit from a little facelift but it is always clean and in good condition.

We spent a day exploring Ft. Lauderdale before leaving on our cruise. This hotel offered everything we needed: courteous and helpful staff, clean comfortable room, free great hot breakfast, shuttle available to Port Everglades, close proximity to some attractions such as the Art museum. Also, the front desk attendant suggested a shuttle service to see the Everglades. She took the deposit and called for us. I've been staying here for quite awhile on trips for work. Since the new management/ownership took over, the service has been awful. 5 out of the last 6 times I've been here the cable/tv hasn't worked which has resulted in me moving rooms late in the evening after I've unpacked. The front desk staff are short and not helpful. We used to get a coupon for a free drink at the bar, they got rid of that. They used to offer cookies and water upon arrival, they quit offering that. Our microwave stopped working halfway through the stay (didn't really need it, so we didn't bring it up with anyone) and the tv worked great except the only channel that didn't go through was animal planet so don't plan on watching any river monster marathons. I usually stay in Hampton Inn hotels but this one was a bit different. The building is old, although rooms looked as if they had been remodeled not long ago. Furniture was ok and the bathroom was very nice. But still I didn't feel like I was staying in a Hampton inn. The place they have for breakfast is way too small, things run out and they take forever to bring new ones. During the weekend it was too crowed. The pool area is not the best, located in downtown I guess this is not a hotel for su... Read more

Warm, welcoming staff, clean comfortable rooms. Security is also good as you need a room key to access the room floors on the elevator or to enter the hotel from the parking lot. It was great to have a portable table that I could use to work, or use it to eat while watching TV. The only challenge is the parking lot that requires a couple sharp turns on the ramp.

I have stayed at Hilton chain hotels all over the USA for more than 20 years, many of them part of the Hampton Inn chain. This was thew worst stay and experience I have ever had. I booked and paid for two non-smoking rooms 6 months in advance. Despite ongoing renovations, the hotel is already very nice. Loved the secured and gated parking, even for the additional fee, it was worth it. Rooms are large, clean and cool, breakfast is excellent and the staff extremely nice. The hotel is away from city traffic and beach noise, yet close enough to both city and beach to make it a good choice for a vacation stay.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and we really liked the hotel. The breakfast was the best I`ve ever had in the US! The staff was really helpful and polite, and the room was clean. But the neighborhood wasn`t that good. Many homeless people, and one of them was really scary and threatening. But I would stay at this hotel again, I just wouldn`t walk outside after dark, but rent a car instead.

I want to preface this review with compliments to the staff for being kind, attentive and helpful. However, this hotel is definitely not worth the price or your time for a stay. Whatever you think of when you envision a Hampton Inn, this isn't it. They have a display in the lobby touting their upcoming rennovation (some of which is underway), but in the meantime it's a run down, shabby property. That alone would not have merited a negative review, but they have a terrible problem with lack of cleanliness, including reusing sheets from one guest to the next without washing them. (Don't ask how I know, but it was pretty disgusting.)

I didn't get to see much of the hotel because I wasn't there long. However, I can say that the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was very nice with the shower head being high enough for a person of 6 foot 4inches to fit without having to duck. The staff was friendly and accommodating. And the hotel is only a 5 minute ride from the cruise port.

So I was here during the hurricane this year. The staff were all amazing. The hotel never shut down or anything. All services were still available. The only thing that shut down was the first floor of the parking garage. Other than that, this place was fantastic. It is walking distance from pretty much all of downtown and the water. The rooms were so modern, comfortable and clean. They also, have free coffee all day long...which I oddly haven't seen in a while. I would recommend this place very ... Read more

Lots of maintenance issues that were not dealt with in spite of construction workers all over the place. Area is a little sketchy. The building across the street is a haven for homeless people and there was very stinky human excrement on the corner. We were awakened in the night by a drunk driver who hit and run a power pole. I would not walk here after dark. The entire hotel is gray, gray, gray - depressing! Parking garage is free, but very tight getting in and out.

Hampton Inns rarely disappoint for me and this was no exception. If you like Los Olas area this is a great location. Just a few blocks. Right downtown. Clean even during their remodel. Staff was super friendly.

This hotel was booked by my FABULOUS travel agent for our pre-cruise stay the night before our cruise. This hotel was very nice. The front desk guy Marcus was AWESOME! Helped us with everything we needed to get checked in and to make sure we enjoyed our stay. This hotel was within walking distance to a downtown area near the water with lots of places to eat and drink. Our room was wonderful as well. King sized bed non smoking. We chose this hotel because it's close to the Revolution Club where we were going to see a show. We were surprised that the hotel has a free shuttle bus that takes guests anywhere within a one-mile radius. Very handy! Our room was newly renovated - very sleek and comfortable. Our stay was totally worth the money!

The Valet Parking Employees & Front Desk Staff were warm and friendly. They have coffee in the lobby and breakfast on the 2nd Floor. The breakfast was great and consisted of fresh fruit salad, individual cheese omelettes, turkey sausage links plus waffles, juice, toast, bagels, yogurt, coffee and tea. The rooms were lovely, crisp and clean. They are in the process of upgrading and it is a top notch job. We chose this hotel for the proximity to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, whi... Love the newly renovated rooms and public spaces. Location is very convenient to Downtown and Wilton Manors. FYI, they started valet parking only on November 1st, 2016. $20 per day to park. I heard the front desk giving directions, suggestions for things to do in the area, giving great service like a concierge at a larger hotel.

We were forced to overnight in Fort Lauderdale by Spirit after a missed connection. Our group arrived to find Spirit had not made the reservation for the four rooms. Teddy at the front desk was able to process our vouchers, get us checked in, even offered us his pizza that had been delivered for his dinner. This guy rocked. We stayed in room 211 and while the new remodel makes this a lovely room, there is a fan or noise from a mechanical room in an adjacent room next door making sleep difficult without earplugs. In addition, the pool and people socializing at table and chairs are only about 5 feet outside the window. The hotel staff offered to move us to a new room and reduced the cost to a reasonable rate-both fair solutions to the problem.
