Stayed there with my fiance for 4 night in December of 2016. The entrance was very nice and eye catching. We checked in a little after 11pm, which went smooth. We had a hard time finding the room because of poor lighting. The room was outdated!!!! The T.V was a tube television made in the 80's and the room needs remodeling.... House keeping did an ok job but could do better. We left a small piece of paper on the floor on purpose just to see it there our entire stay. the grounds are beautiful bu... Read more

Like a motel. Dirty, old, loud not comfortable. I met even a homeless there. I couldn't sleep because of the bad smell and the constant noise of the air conditions. It's just beautiful outside and the golf part. Ridiculous breakfast

Cheapest place in the area for a reason. The place is old and in need of renovation. They take care of the outdoors more than the indoors. Witnessed fixing sprinkler system and plants. The carpet was old and wrinkled up. Visible paint on carpet in front of sink. Crust built up around tub drain and overflow. Think air conditioner filters need cleaning; got stuffy. Need breakfast ticket to get cup of coffee. No refrigerator, no microwave. Snack machine has no prices; requires bank card, not money.... Read more

A couple friends and myself were looking for a cheap place to crash in the middle of driving back north from Key West and we found it here. Unfortunately we did not look at any reviews before booking the room. The front desk person was not very helpful in telling us how to find our room so we walked past 80% of the rooms before we found ours. The room wasn't super dirty but it was far from clean but the bathroom was disgusting. There was pee still on the rim of the toilet bowl from the last gues... Read more

Booked this hotel by some of the reviews, and photos. It was mid December 2016, and this was a dump!!!! Old, outdated, dirty and musty smelling. Our first room had dead bugs on the floor and the carpet was gross and tub was filthy. Our second room had a small old TV, sofa bed with dirty bloody sheets that was broken. We had 5 people and only room to sleep 4.!!! Claimed to sleep 6, haha!!! Front desk people were not very friendly or helpful at all. Complimentary breakfast was awful!!!!!! Never ga... Read more

Self parking is a good walk from most rooms. Our keys did not work. Master key did not work. New keys did not work. New master key worked. Room smelled musty. A/C was loud and full of dust/fuzz. Toilet seat was dangerously loose. No glasses/clear cups...only coffee cups...per room steward. Valving on tub is incorrect. Both knobs had to be turned clockwise to turn on? Water temperature fluctuated. Housekeeping only pulled up bed and exchanged towels...emptied trash No tub toilet or sink clean... Read more

A recent visit to the Grand Palms Hotel was truly a NIGHTMARE! Firstly, this property is more the equivalent of a motel. The golf course as well as all the public spaces have seen better days. The property is not ADA accessible. The hotel has only one small ramp that leads to the lobby. There is not an elevator or ramp leading to any of the guest room floors, four in total. The bathrooms do not have any handrails in the shower area nor is there any type of skidding surface in the tub ... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights with my kids and was extremely disappointed. Room dirty with prior guests used soap and hair in the tub; cockaroach; grounds are beautiful at a distance but littered with cigarette buts, water bottles and beer cans. It's truly a shame...

I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this one was below "par". Upon driving in it looks well kept but once you get out of the car it's far from it. The hotel needs a complete gut, inside & out. The exterior walkways have cracked tile flooring and is dirty, the pool furniture had holes in it and the pool also had broken/cracked tiles inside and out. And the the grounds were covered in trash which shows that the staff does not maintain it as they should. The front staff also has no personality and... Read more
