Nice hotel! Staff is great! Hotel is a little old but kept up nice. Furniture is uncomfortable and the draw bridge noise is what prevent a perfect score. The breakfast buffet was really good and wait staff was very attentive! We will go back as we have a number of times. We like it when they get to know you.....

We stayed at this hotel 6 nights. We loved this hotel, but we loved the staff even more. My husband and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and the staff at this hotel made it awesome. From check in to check out, the front desk staff were very pleasant. They were very professional and very knowledgeable about the area attractions and the best places to eat. They also gave out delicious cookies ???. They helped set up our excursions and confirmed the reservations for us. The food at ... Read more

Our group of 10 had 5 rooms here on 5/21/2016. We were all very happy with our choice. We arrived early morning, our rooms weren't ready. They took care of our luggage while we went to the Galleria Mall. It was walkable and there was food places nearby and a Publix grocery store was close as well. We walked to the beach later in the evening and had dinner at a local restaurant across from beach. Would recommend without hesitation. Room was huge, clean and awesome view.

Stayed here for 3 nights, they found out it was a big birthday and sent up complimentary champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries. The location is excellent for shopping and beaches. Water taxi takes you to other areas for eating/drinking. Staff are so thoughtful and helpful, highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel that is convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff was great and being a Double Tree hotel, you get the warm, delicious chocolate cookies when you arrive. Had a king suite on the 12th floor and the views were amazing. Had a separate living room, dining table and nice kitchen area. Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was very good. You can catch a water taxi outside the back doors to go to other restaurants.

We started out about 8 hours at Ocean Point Suites at Key Largo and faced the worst nightmare - poor service, filthy unlivable conditions and much more that I won't go into. We moved up to Gallery One in Ft. Lauderdale and instantly felt the change! The service was wonderful, it was clean and up to date. Our room was perfect when we entered! Kids ran to their room squealing with joy. They even checked on us twice a week via text messaging to make sure our needs were met. Very close to a pub... Read more

Check-In was fairly smooth. Arrived very late in the evening, therefore the line for check-in was at its all time best!... Request for upgrade was ful-filled and we stayed in the 2bd suite with bar. All the "bar" part meant was you were able to have a very small edition of counter space with a bar stool. Wasn't worth the extra $125 for this upgrade from a 2bd without the bar. Aside from that, our room was very nice, spacious and exactly what we needed for our 6 night stay. The restaurant sta... Read more

I would say for any 20 somethings wanting a party atmosphere to head to Miami, but otherwise was a family friendly hotel and attracted different nationalities. We flew, so we did not have to deal with the valet parking. Amenities: The hotel lobby had beautiful local paintings and sculptures, which we enjoyed walking around and seeing. As a Hilton property he would expect better quality. The location is wonderful however they have done little over the past five years of trips that I've taken there to make general improvement. The suites have much wear and tear, door handles broken and they are aware of it and will not fix it because it's too expensive, torn carpets in room, poor attentiveness and housekeeping. I brought my three daughters and my mom to Fort Lauderdale for our first family vacation together in over five years. The first night we got here we stayed in a resort at Lauderdale by the Sea. Which we didn't like at all. So I got on Expedia and discovered this place. And we all loved it. It was perfect. We had five people and it came with two queen size beds and a pull out sofa. Always like Doubletree suites for families. The GalleryOne suites were very spacious. Beautiful Intracoastal & ocean views from high floor and great balcony! Upgraded bathroom & kitchenette. Excellent location, walk to restaurants, Galleria Mall & Fort Lauderdale beaches. The Intracoastal water taxi also stops at the hotel so you can see the sites and grab a bite to eat via the water taxi, too.

I can eat and have some drinks on the mall situated right next to the Hotel (so no drinking and driving) but when I want to go to Las Olas, there are trolleys and the water taxi, all departing right there ! Great stay here for a few days before a cruise, had a great room with a balcony with great views, room was spotless and had everything you needed. Great location next to a supermarket a mall and restaurants. Water taxi stop right at the back off the hotel. Wi fi was very temperamental so not very reliable. Loved our stay here and would love to return at some point. Beach a five minute walk away. Andrew and Geoffrey were great on reception.

A double queen suite has one bathroom, a room with two beds, small living room with a sofa and a dining table, a balcony, and a kitchen with a microwave oven, fridge, and a washing machine for the basic cutlery available. The room is already a bit aged. It works, but don't expect any luxury. Breakfast was nice and reasonably priced (for a hotel breakfast). Staff is very helpful. Overnight valet parking $30. The hotel is located close to a shopping mall and a reasonable walking distance to som... Read more

I came to Ft. Lauderdale for my 1st girl trip ALONE! I had no idea what was to come. When I arrived, Jeff was so friendly and kind to me. The service was amazing from the moment I walked in the front door. Liliana the Concierge is an ANGEL...Aly at the Starbucks counter was so sweet and spoke so highly working for Hilton! I thank you all for all of your great service and love! I WILL BE BACK

Picked this hotel for its location in terms of easy access to lots of local facilities. The first room we were offered was great in side with a lovely balcony and view but closer to the bridge and hence prone to traffic noise. My wife is an exceptionally light sleeper so we asked for another room. The staff were great nothing was too much trouble and they put us into a quieter room with a great view across the intercostal and the ocean. (Thanks to Andrew and Eric who did a fantastic job). This is a great hotel with great location close to both the beach and fine dining (walking distance). Ft Lauderdale can be very warm and humid so don't complain about it...enjoy it! I was recently there on business to conduct 2 personnel interviews. Because of Hurricane Matthew, we had to move up the date and time from my office, to the hotel. The hotel manager Jason could not have been MORE OF SERVICE to me and my colleague. He was the man...not only finding us space within the hotel to co... Read more

Even though we only usually travel as a couple, we enjoy all of the room we are afforded at Doubletree Suites ( GalleryOne). A large bathroom, small kitchen area and a very large living room/dining area gives more space to get out of each other's way! The suite hotel is located on the intercoastal waterway so you can sit and watch yachts sail by your suite. There is also a water taxi stop located at the hotel. It is a short few block walk to the beach. Right next to the hotel is Galleria Mall f... Read more

I kept receiving credit card alerts about different charges being made to my credit card. It took two trips to the front desk while I was at the hotel and another phone call once I got home. On top of that, our room supplies were not replenished -- we stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with 4 adults. It's not pretty when there's only one pod of coffee for the coffeemaker when 4 people drink coffee in the morning!

We attended a wedding there (on a yacht) docked right outside the hotel. Great! The hotel suite we stayed in (for 2 nights) was fine, but not an "ooh-aah" kind of place. Although it had a nice, separate kitchenette with all the amenities, separate bed and living rooms, with 2 large, digital TVs, a nice walk in shower, it seemed like it needed a little more attention to detail. For example, the suite door lock (card slot) didn't work right; the living room had wall switches that didn't do anythin... Read more

We had a very nice hotel stay here. Rooms were large and clean. Had a nice view of the intercoastal. Staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly. We found this hotel because we had our wedding on the yacht Sun Dream and it picked up right from the hotel dock. We had all our guests stay here. Wonderful experience!

This a popular spot to stay before or after s cruise. We tried this s few years ago & have returned for a month 2 years in a row. It has SO much to offer. Short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and a huge plus is the Water Taxi right outside the door. These are condo units well equipped if your desire is to dine in. Staff are welcoming and very helpful. There is more of a resort atmosphere here than Hotel. Highly recommend a water view.

This was our second stay at the GalleryOne. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful . The location in our opinion is second to none in that area. Water Taxi stop steps outside the lobby. Fine dining, mall, bars grocery all less than 5 minutes walk. Beach about 7 minutes walk. We use the water Taxi extensively to get around and tickets are available from the valet guys. The only reason we did not give service full marks is because one night we sat in a booth in the bar area for drinks. ... Read more

Really unimpressed with this property and its cleanliness. As a travel agent I would not recommend this hotel or send any clients to stay here. The lamp in our room had a fine coating of dust on it. Bathroom sanitation was far from being Hilton standard. The bathroom door was dirty with fingerprints all over it and a toothpaste stain on the mirror upon arrival. Also, two conditioners and no shampoo. DO NOT waste your time having breakfast there. The table had a sticky coating and stains on it an... Read more

We had a great stay at this hotel. We were there for one night following a cruise. Andrew was very welcoming -- checked us in, arranged a waterview upgrade and we were able to check in early. The room was very large with a nice balcony overlooking the water. The shower was roomy with very good pressure, bed was comfy, and the wifi worked very well. The location is right down the road from the Galleria Mall and lots of great restaurants. We will definitely be back.

The rooms are up to date and clean, very roomy. We had a suite overlooking the water for 3 nights at $900+ total. The employees are polite and professional. I would not recommend the breakfast as the selection choices are not worth $25/person, and most items were empty. However, kudos to the omelet man from Trinidad - he makes an excellent homemade pesto sauce for the eggs!

My stay was awesome and the units look pretty much like you see on the pictures from the various sites. My unit had a small Foyer, that lead to the kitchen on the left or to the dining room just ahead on the left, that gave way to the living room that had a pull out couch. From the living room you can step out onto a descent size balcony, my room looked over Sunrise Blvd, I had a nice view. The Bedroom is off to the right, in there you would also find a very nice bathroom, with a nice shower. ... Read more

Lots of little maintenance issues with the room I didn't bother to report. Issues with the phone lines in the room and accessing the internet. Elevators not maintained properly. No self-parking. Poor description of guestroom levels and amenities on the website. Good service cannot make up for poor maintenance.
