"We went with the Mystery Hotel and this is what we got. The Resort itself and the grounds were nice but the room left a lot to be desired.
Beginning with check in, the service was impersonal and the directions to our room were vague. It was like we had to 'find' it on our own. The bell service was unavailable so we carried our own luggage after a long day of travel from Canada with two small children.
The room was not the cleanest room we have had and was showing sign s of age with dirt and rust in corners and broken tiles. The shower was not very inviting.
Maybe when you hear the words 'Deluxe Resort Room', your expectations are too high.
The only 4 star thing about this resort is the pricing at the unimpressive buffet breakfast. We did not eat here after that and chose one of the many local options.
Location was goo as it is close to the main beach, not really walking distance but close enough. We stayed here before our cruise and it was great for that.
There was some sort of event or gala one night and it took us almost an hour to get into the driveway for Valet parking. Not impressed as you you think they would have provisions for actual hotel guests.
Anyway, if I had to choose, it would not be here again. Ok for the money, but I would be more angry if I paid what they originally charge.
Staff was not helpful at all and in some instances just rude."

"I was stranded in Ft Lauderdale and needed a room for 2nights until flights would resume into my airport. I looked online and compared prices and hotels. Having already stayed at the Ramada earlier, and needing a definite change, I saw the mystery hotel was only $22 more per night and was 5 stars!! That was a no brainer. This was well worth the difference with great views, amenities and excellent service!!! This is the second time I have picked the mystery hotel online and it is the second time I have been extremely happy with the hotel I have received!!!"

"This is only a 4 Star if you live in a 3rd world country.
The furnishings are dated. Cleanliness is marginal. The best 'cosierge' were the valets, they had more info than the infisible consierge.
We have stayed in 4 star hotels, this is not a four star, maybe a 3, definetly a 2.5. I would never go back there and never would recommed this place to a friend. "
