"This is a nice boutique hotel. I wouldnt rate it 4 stars. The rooms are great. The pool is very tiny and is not equal to a 4 star rating. The beach across the street is fine... again not something Id want to spend that much time at. There were a few stand out staffers at the Bistro who was very helpful and nice. The front desk crew cant be bothered with concierge related questions (there is no separate concierege). I was very unimpressed with their service. They didnt really seem to know the area all that well and always seemed rushed even though there was no one really around. If you are looking for a nice hotel and focused on price then this is a great find- otherwise pay a little more and go elsewhere."

The view from the room was fabulous; the size of the bathroom was impressive and so-o-o modern. The location was wonderful. "We did not like this hotel at all. This is not a 4 star hotel! The pool is big enough to accomendate literally 10 people or less, and even then that's crowed. There is no hot tub or even balconys. The 'ocean' view is not even a 'ocean view' its a 90% road and bushes and 10% waterview. The lobby is so small and parking is $25 per night! The rooms do not have a frigde/cooler, a vent in the bathroom, or even enough space to have 4 people comfortably in it. The housekeeping start at 6 am hollaring and making noise in the morning but yet they don't get around to cleaning your room til after 3 pm! we stayed there 3 nights, and it was the same thing everyday. i am extremely disappointed and will NEVER stay here again. It is also 2 plus miles from all the restrauants and bars. Its the the very end CORNER of the boardwalk. "

"Great location in a quieter area of the Ocean front. Place was clean, room cleaned earlier in the morning. Great view of the Ocean. Rooms are small and no refrigerators. Bought a small styrofoam cooler for $4.00 and it worked well. No ice machines so we bought a bag of ice everyday. Valet parking $25.00/day tax. I got tired of tipping the valet guys and felt guilty if I didn't. Parking should be rolled into the room fee. Other than the refrigerator and parking issues, it really is a nice place and great location."

"Stayed one night after a cruise before flight home. Walked down the street to bars and had lunch and then coffee then walked back on beach side. At night had inexpensive pub meal and craft beer (only $3) at Famous Parrot behind hotel. The view from hotel is great and loved that they dim the street lights from March to Oct as the beach is a turtle nesting area. Had read reviews that some felt the area was a bit seedy but it reminded me of some areas of Soho, U.K. Perhaps you can tell by now I'm originally from England. The hotel staff were very accommodating helping us check in with our airline and ordering a shuttle for next day and allowed an early check-in so we really felt we didn't miss a minute of our last day 24 hrs in Ft. Lauderdale. It was great fun."

"Hotel is new, clean, and modern. Rooms are relatively spacious for a boutique hotel, especially when compared to those in Miami/South Beach. We had 4 females in a room and were able to easily coordinate getting ready using mirrors on closet doors.Blew a fuse in room and it was fixed immediately. Pool is small and not heated. Loved the lounge chairs and free cabanas during the trip. The bar staff at the pool was friendly and outstanding.Food good and reasonably priced. Drinks were expensive. However, our room was not cleaned or serviced at all one day despite leaving a 'please clean' sign on the doorknob. Hotel steps to beach and close to mall/shopping."

"Place was nice. The view from our room was beautiful. I also loved the
fact that the ocean is right across the steet.

The only complaint I have is that I purposely booked a room for three people
because they said the room had a king bed and sofa bed. When I got there
at 6 pm. they said the king beds and sofa beds were all booked. So my
husband and I had to sleep in a full size bed and my brother in the other.
Not too comfortable.

The only other complaint I had is that I ordered two margaritas by the pool.. It came in a small plastic cup and charged $15 per cup. Not only did I think that
was overpriced but when I got the hotel bill, they accidentally charged $32
extra and didn't know why. When I complained they were gracious enough
to take it off the bill without arguing."
