This hotel could use some updating, starting with the lighting. The lighting in the halls and room needs to be revived. The lighting makes the room feel drab. Also, there was this constant knocking in the wall, which I guess was old pipes (Rm 111). The person at the desk didn't even offer me to change rooms only said that he'd have maintenance check it in the morning. On a brighter note the breakfast was decent (bacon on Tues & Thurs) :)

We often use sleep inn but this one as far far different from the others. The wifi doesn't work reliably and there was a smell of vomit from my wife's side of the bed. It was reported and the manager told me that it didn't smell. Must be my imagination. The housekeeping staff were nice but the front desk staff aren't really interested in your problems.

The room was very nice...bed, linens, amenities. Our only complaint was about the breakfast. We are grain and added sugar free and the only choices left were some artificial looking eggs and breakfast sausages that we weren't sure of the ingredients in. Some fresh fruit would have been a nice addition. Actually, there were three oranges that were somewhat dehydrated looking. I did eat one and it was ok. Hotel staff were pleasant and responsive. Good coffee.

This hotel "in its entirety was recently renovated" (the facility's GM exact words) I don't know how this can be factual. Upon entering our room the old musty smell hit us. It smelled like all the soft furnishings should either be cleaned or replaced. The room itself was not dirty but the smell made you feel like it was. Breakfast was included which was nice, although don't expect alot. It is just adequate to get you on your way. When we were going to check out, the elevator did not move... Read more

Really nice room! Laura at the front desk is so kind and welcoming :) Didn't get the chance to swim but the pool looked awesome. Good restaurants and shopping (essentials) near by. Not sure why all the other review are so negative, I thought it was perfect.

A nicely appointed Sleep Inn. The only thing you might ask for is a room near the elevator especially if you are on the 3rd floor - a long hallway. Rooms are clean and well kept and the breakfast was very well done. Sets back off the highway. IHop near Motel.

While relocating to the Jacksonville area, I have spent many nights in this facility...over three months. The entire staff is exceptionally professional, friendly and I felt genuinely dedicated to ensure a comfortable stay. I came to know all the managers, Susan is top quality. Laura at the front desk always greets everyone with a smile and is quick to help in anyway she can. Any item that I accidentally left when checking out were always returned by the friendly staff that cleaned the rooms... Read more

We stayed at the inn while visiting friends in Fleming Island, Fl over the weekend. The inn is centrally located with shopping centers all around. The rates were reasonable, the room clean and well equipped. They offer free breakfast, a coffee maker in room, a mini refrigerator, microwave and free internet access in room. The amenities include an outdoor pool, workout room, and even a greatly appreciated designated parking spot for our service members and veterans. A great value for the money an... Read more

This hotel use to be amazing! Somethings changed since I was there two years ago. This trip we checked in... Hotel hallways smelled musty and were warm. The room AC wasn't on and had a musty moldy smell. I turned the air on and just went about our business. Then we got into the bed and it was damp. So damp that we couldn't sleep. Changed rooms to a little better, but similar issue. At that point it wasn't worth changing again. Fridge didn't work & wasn't aware until my cheesecake desert I b... Read more

We stayed the evening of the 23rd. I'm not sure what was going on but there were children everywhere. They ran the halls all night keeping my wife and I awake most of the night. When I told the front desk clerk of my dissatisfaction she just brushed it off as not knowing who it was. I told her you could even hear them running up on the third floor as I was trying to get on the elevator. What a poor business attitude to have. My wife is s choice member and I also have a survey from them that I w... Read more

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. From check-in to check-out, everything was a breeze. The staff was excellent, the bed was comfortable, the room size and amenities were very good. Aw, there is one negative... the refrigerator didn't get very cool (let alone cold). The pool is a decent size. I woke up too late for the complementary breakfast, so I can't comment on that. They have ice water, coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed there for four days/nights. Rooms were damp, when we arrived in our room and layed down the bedding and linen were damp to the touch and the rooms smelled moldy. Pool was ok, breakfast was less than satisfying. Room was cleaned and made every morning which was good. If you absolutley need to stay in fleming island, then this is about your only option. If not, go to Orange Park.

We stopped in on a road trip through the area. We had no complaints, from parking, check in, room and breakfast the next day. The room was spacious and quiet. We had been staying in Hampton's on our way to FL, and this place easily compares and felt like a steal for the price difference. It is conveniently located and easily found.

I gave the rating a 2 because I could hear the people above me night and day. Therefore not much sleep ??, when I told the staff the shrugged it off as no big deal didn't even ask what room I was in or offer any discounts. Other than that hotel was very clean

The staff was very friendly. Location was clean. They have parking spots for Veterans. I was proud to see this. Then on Friday the entire staff had on shirts that said RED. I inquired about this, and was too it stood for Remember Everyone Deployed. This place has 5 stars in my heart. When ever we return to this area we will always stay there!

I made reservations for tonight on Wednesday. I was told that I had until 4pm today to cancel. I called shortly after noon today to cancel. The woman I spoke with was very unprofessional; she didn't even identify that it was the Sleep Inn when she answered. When I told her I wanted to cancel tonight's reservation, she told me I would be charged. I told her that when I made the reservation I was specifically told that I could cancel up to 4pm tonight, she said "not during a storm". When I r... Read more

This hotel used to be great. We travel all the time and when in this area would stay at this hotel for its great staff, managers and above all cleanliness. Its under construction and the desk agent said it was going to be a Holiday Inn. The room stunk of mold and mildew. I asked a Spanish maid and she said all the rooms stink like that. The carpet was wet. The sheets felt wet. I was scared to stay here. The front desk lady, who said she was the manager, I think here name was Laurie, was s... Read more

We only take one vacation per year, and this year it was ruined by our stay at this disgusting Sleep Inn. I completely understand that air conditioning systems sometimes give off a little odor, but this place was WAY beyond just a little odor. The stench coming out of the A/C in our room was so disgusting that it made us both physically ill. We asked for a different room the fist night and was told by the staff that they were full because a large number of rooms were under renovation. They k... Read more

Been frequenting this hotel for years, the staff was familiar. Every single person welcomed you as part of a family. A home away from home. Somtines business execs like a place to.call home. I went in, just this week. I noticed vast changes in the staff. It almost seemed as if everyone I know was not there. No awards in the case (meaning all the award winning staff was gone) a vile old woman at the desk who actually did not know my name like the others. Indians and trash walking the property. I ... This hotel cost 75.00 a night but was better than hotels charging much more. We were greeted by two women who were friendly and efficient. We had a reservation. They let us into our room early. The room had a king-sized bed, two comfortable chairs, big spacious bathroom. But most of all, everything was clean and well-stocked. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, waffles, biscuits & gravy, sausage, many cereals, yogurt, pastries and fruit. Every staff member we met was professional, and pleasant. We ... Read more
