My family and I stayed here for spontaneously for a night when we were enjoying ourselves so much on the patio of the Marker 8 Bar that we didn't want to leave! The room was very clean and we enjoyed that the studio had a small kitchenette with all of the basics. Also, Nancy at check in and Lois at check out were lovely and very informative. We will be back!

I really enjoyed my stay here with my sister, nephew and mother. We all had a bad experience at the hotel we were supposed to stay at in Ruskin, Fl so this hotel put us up last min and I couldn't have been more pleased! When we got to the hotel, the pull out sofa was already made for us (we got there after 11pm)!! Every time I spoke to the front desk, the lady there named Lois was so kind and helpful. She even recommended a very beautiful vacation spot for our family! I really am grateful for al... Read more

Great week here! Very nice studio. Everything we needed. Darn good burgers at Marker 8, the tiki bar on the property. We were in Room 220--recommend the location--south building. Minutes (about 5) south to downtown Dunedin and minutes (less than 10) north to Honeymoon Island. Great greasy spoon for breakfast just a few miles up Bayshore--the Covered Bridge. We had absolutely beautiful sunsets every night, and the friendly staff passed around free shooters for a toast as the sun was droppi... Read more

First, the good - the office staff are wonderful - kind and patient. If not for them, my rating would be worse because they worked to resolve our problem.. It's not really a resort, but the setting is beautiful and the pool area is quite nice. It is within walking distance of Dunedin and the Toronto ballpark. We have stayed here a few times, but this stay was disappointing because of the resort's erroneous description of our room. Instead of a one-bedroom unit, we had a "studio with a small... Read more

Hotel was beautiful, clean, and friendly staff. Lois (at Beso Del Sol) helped me upgrade my reservation when Orbitz was unable to. We were in town for a wedding and this resort was close to the venue. The restaurant on the property (Marker 8) is 18 and up so is not kid friendly. Other then that, our stay was excellent.

Four of us stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 floor suite and it was perfect! Large comfortable beds though the bathrooms were a bit small. Plenty of space to spread out though! Nice living room, large dining table and pretty full kitchen in case you want to cook while you are there. Having the pool and restaurant/bar on property was convenient and Main Street is close! Wifi was a bit spotty but all around a great stay!

What a terrific little getaway for our family. The rooms were clean, attractive and spacious. Lois and Christine (front desk and manager) were so helpful and courteous to help our family vacation be the best it could at Beso del Sol

I stayed in a beautiful water front room. Exceptionally clean and furnished with everything you could possibly need to fully enjoy your stay. Something that should be pointed out, is just how accommodating, knowledgable and superbly welcoming the office staff is. During the course of my stay, I met Rafe, Lois, Nancy U., Nancy C. and even the manager Christine! I completely loved my stay, and can't wait to come back!

We loved everything about the Beso Del Sol. We went there on an exchange and will definitely go again. The Accomodations were beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff was so helpful and nice. We had an air conditioning issue and within two hours we were provided with a brand new one, right out of the box!. The tiki bar was a favorite spot, food was delicious and food and drinks very reasonably priced. Pool was well maintained and just the right temp. Sunsets at the deck were spectacular and a... This resort was everything the website said and we really enjoyed our two nights. The room was very clean and the a/c kept us cool. There are two pools and a hot tub which we used in the evening after spending the day at Honeymoon Island. We will be back soon. Thanks to the staff who welcomed and thanked us for our stay.

We stayed at this resort because of a wedding we were attending on honeymoon island. The bride had found the resort and suggested it to her guests. We only stayed one night and didn't expect much since we weren't going to be in the room much. The staff was awesome, the gentelman that checked us in was actually from our hometown! The room was huge and we certainly didn't expect to have a full kitchen for what we paid. We ended up making use of the free bikes, ate at the tiki bar, and spent some t... Read more

We exchanged into here. It's a nice clean resort with many ammenities. We had a one bedroom suite. Very roomy for 2, but we had four, and that made it challenging with only an efficiency kitchen. Couch also did not pull out into a bed, so sleeping 4 was a challenge. We were offered a rollaway bed, but made do with our own cot. Would definitely look into a 2 bdr for next time. We would come back, but not in summer. Too hot down here.

The room we had was pretty nice, some small issues. The shower is dark and cramped. No tub for my wife. The toilet ran all the time. The bed made noise every time one of us rolled over. If you get to book the room be sure to stay away from the tiki bar, it was very very loud over the weekend. The food at the tiki bar was pretty good but, the service was very bad.

Our hotel room was clean with a comfortable bed and pillows! We loved having a small kitchen so we could prepare a few of our own meals. We swam in the pool most nights and relaxed at the tiki bar and patio. Really relaxing atmosphere and beautiful water view! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We borrowed bikes to go out downtown and it was easy to get to the pinellas trail.

Resort is right on the water. Beautiful rooms and the view was amazing. Nice for couples and families. They keep family and bar area seperate, which was nice. They have an adult only pool and a family pool. Food in the restaurant downstairs was yummy. Met some really nice folks there. They also have free bikes for guests to peddal around town. A lovely redort in a lovely town. The picture is from our balcony.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room was great with a view of the Gulf right over the pool. The tiki bar was very nice with music throughout the weekend. The surprising part was that as close as we were to the bar area, we could barely hear anything through the walls/doors. Very sound-proof, which is nice. The pool was very nice and relaxed. Another bonus was that we were able to get shaded parking all weekend long. Definitely a great place to try. Very nice and less than a ... Read more

We only stayed one night, but this hotel is clearly meant for a long stay. I loved that the room had a fully stocked kitchen. The room was a pretty good size, bathroom was clean and modern. I do believe that an extra light in the bathroom would make it perfect, as once the shower curtain is drawn it is pretty much black in there. There are 2 pools one for guests heated and one for the tiki bar guests. Lovely views of the sunset.

The location of Beso Del Sol is perfect for exploring Dunedin. But since the units are individually owned, this review is solely for Unit 403. The water view is limited, but in the evening the balcony is right in the middle of towering bamboo, and the buzz of the cicada is mesmerizing. We loved sitting out there with a night cap. The unit must have just been redone in a lovely midcentury modern d├ęcor. Comfy bed. Spacious updated bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed in a few different hotels in this vicinity and were yet to be impressed. For our wedding night, it had to be PERFECT!! I came across Beso Del Sol in a random search and the photos were GORGEOUS!! I booked in hopes that we wouldn't be disappointed. We definitely weren't! We stayed in one of the smallest rooms as it was all that was available. This room still had everything we needed...there was even room enough for my mother, sister, flower girl and I to get ready before the wedding!... Read more

The resort office staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Sleeping room suite was extremely clean and well decorated. Only draw back of room was that ac unit in bedroom ran continuously and was noisy. Very close to bike trail sand resort had bikes available to use at no charge. Easy bike ride to Main Street Dunedin. Hard to find hotels where you can keep your boat. Marina and launch was 5 minutes away for $7 cash only. Room was clean and high end. Super comfy bed. Live music, pool, sunset, tiki bar and grill gave a tropical feel. Dunedin had cute half mile area of stores and restaurants. Only negative was hot tub was the temp of the pool and no bubbles.
